Listen to Amy and TJ on the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you listen to your podcasts. The Bobby Vom. All right, biggest artists and country music from 2000 to 2010. Yesterday, we did the 90s and Eddie and Amy tied. You guys both had eight out of 10. Good job. I asked AI, named the best country artist 2000 to 2010. Now this has to do from touring and radio number ones and album.

There's generally biggest awards. Eddie, you got 10 there on your sheet. Yeah. Let's see how many you get. Go. Let's start with Mr. Keith Urban. Keith Urban at number two. Yes. Solid. And I feel like there's going to be a lot of doubles from the 90s game. So I'm going to go with Tim McGraw being one of those doubles. At number three, moved up a bunch of spots, Tim McGraw. Let's go. In the 2000s, he was rocking. And then his buddy too. You know, his buddy too, Kenny Chesney. He's got to be on this list. They say he owns the decade. Kenny Chesney number one. Wow. So, so far number one, Chesney, two Urban, three McGraw. Okay, okay, okay. And then also on the old list and the new list, give me the chicks. Or did they fall off? They did not. They did not. They're not considered one of the big 10 that decade. Dang, dang, dang. So then I'm wondering if my next one is going to make that same.

Uh, Shenaya. No. No? She peeking the 90s. AI does not have her as one of the top 10. Do this could be where it goes bad for me. Um, Lone Star, are they on the list? No. Oh my gosh. They're one of the biggest songs ever. They did. Okay, I got a couple bands here. Rascal flats. Number seven. Yes! I'm back. You cannot tell the story of the 2000s without... Bless the broken room. Is that what it hurts the most? No, it's what I'm saying. I'm not wish. The story of the... That's what B.I. says. Okay, I got another band. The Zach Brown band. No. Chicken Friedman, that was... 2000s, those 10 biggest bands. Artist, no. Taylor Swift. It's big, it's big song. Taylor Swift, number 10. Now, and Swift, she only had five years to work with. Okay. By the end of the decade, they say she can probably change her trajectory of country music.

Yeah. Hey, look, how many more do you have on your list? One more. Okay, so you have five. Max, you can get six. This is a Hill Mary, man. I don't think he's on the list, but gosh, he had some jams. Give me Joe Nichols. Joe? Freaking Nichols. Freaking Nichols. No. I don't think five's gonna be bad, though. You don't think so? I... I think Amy's gonna dominate. Maybe. Maybe, maybe. Five out of 10. You can go and bring Amy in. It's not a good one. You get Chesney, Urban, McGraw, Flats, and Taylor. Definitely a little harder. Yeah. There was one repeat you didn't get. Oh, there was one. Well, see if she gets it. Only one more repeat, though. Okay. The fact that yesterday you missed Shenania. Okay, here's a company. We gotta be quiet. Oh, can you open the door for her? Oh, she's locked out? Yeah, she's locked out. Safety first here. Here we go. All right, there she is. Okay. How do you feel? Um, okay.

This one was more difficult than the 90s. Yeah. 2000 to 2010. Uh-huh. Hey, what a decade, huh? What a decade. Uh, yeah. I almost had my knee at the gut. What do you have? Just out of just go. Yeah. Taylor Swift. Yeah. Number 10, Taylor Swift. And hers was only in a five-year span, but yeah, she made number 10. Rascal Flats. Number seven, Rascal Flats. Solid. You on a roll here. Carry Underwood. Yes. That's so good. Eddie did not get that one. Uh, also, Carrie didn't arrive till 2005, but she hit hard and constant. So she's at number six on the list. Yeah. Um, Blake Shelton. No. What? That's your first miss. When did he come on the scene? Bro, I just have a downright here, what's in front of me? Bro. I have one of the best country artists and they factored in everything. Number one's ticket sales, awards. I don't know what else, but that's it. Okay, so this one gets tricky because some people from the 90s, I don't really know what

to do about them. Um, the George straight was still huge in the early 2000s. Who are you guessing? George straight. Number eight, George straight. He was the one. Eddie didn't guess that one. No. Also, across over from the 90s. Would be Tim McGraw. Correct. At number three, Tim McGraw. Live like you were dying. My little girl, if you're reading this. Probably something like that too. Who man, chew is live like you were dying? Yeah. Yeah. But I know. Okay. So far, you have one, two, three, four, five. Okay. You have five. I think you really missed one. Mm-hmm. This is hard because again, this is another crossover, but I just have to go with it because I know in college early 2000s, I was. I mean, oh, but shoot, I didn't take it into consideration. The controversy around them in the 2000s. Go ahead. The Dixie Chicks. No. Did it make it?

Because they got canceled. Did it make it? Dang it. They got canceled. I'm gonna tell you I know Eddie has five. You get one more you take to lead. All right. Well, you know who I was introduced to and about. I think it was like 2004. He was opening for George straight. Dirk's Bentley. No. Wow. Good guess, though. How many more do I want your list? I don't know. How many of I said? Well, I don't. I'm not keeping Dirk's. Well, I didn't. I'm not doing them on order because I wrote Taylor down last and I wanted to say her first. Oh. But how many names do you have left? Which ones have it? I said. Oh, I know. I think I have one left. Only one? Okay. I said George straight. Go ahead. I say, wait. Don't I say Kenny Chessney? No. Kenny Chess, number one. Yes. Amy takes the lead. Hang just like that. And then now I have one more. Okay. Which one have I not said yet? I really should have read these in order. It's two double. No. She's not late anyway. And trust me, he ain't getting six. Oh. Who do I got left? Oh.

I got it. Oh, it's lunchbox goes Jared Neeman. Oh, that's a good one, though. He likes that. Don't keep the song. Go ahead. Lady Antebellum. No. You did take the lead, though. Good job, Amy. Kenny Chessney at one, McGraw and three, Carrie, flats, George Straight and Taylor Swift. Do Carrie, I forgot about Carrie. Yeah, I'm there. Can I go to the country with a championship? Yes. Okay. If you don't mind bringing lunchbox in, come in screaming about something. He wanted to change answers last minute yesterday. They blocked them. All right. Here he is. All right. Where's your list? I got it in my sweatshirt, man. Okay. Before we go live, I've got a question. No, we are live. Okay. You know you're doing that twice. Uh, when I'm out there and I come up with a name, can I change it? No, just like yesterday. Well, we can go to the panel here. Do you want to be changing? No. Just like yesterday. Okay. Since Amy voted no, then I don't want to bring up the trauma, but Amy did not go in an isolation booth.

She sat out here where you can still hear. Oh, I didn't hear. I was talking to Morgan. I couldn't hear anything. Oh, I don't know about that, bones. Morgan and I were talking about salsa. I didn't hear anything. I know about that. I trust the guy standing right there. There's no way. I know you trust them, but you trust her. Nobody said you had to go outside. Yeah, I didn't say. I even said you said go where you can't hear. I didn't hear. He just mad because yesterday he didn't get to change. Okay. Lunchbox. What do you have? All right. All right. So there are 10 here best from 2000 to 2010. What do you got? I will say, it took me a hard, long time to come with 10 people. I think you're a hard time. Hard, long time. Tim, bro, live like you're dying. Tim McGraw correct. Yes. One. You know, before he cheats, carry under one. Two. Yeah. Eddie didn't get that one. Oh, man, guys, she came out with this song called Tim McGraw. Taylor Swift. Three. Yeah, I'm a fire. Now I'm done. That was it? Yeah, there's a song called a maze. Don't know when it came out, but it was a band called Lone Star. Eddie? Yes, Lone Star. I did. Wrong, but Eddie guessed it, too. Yeah, good idea.

No idea when this girl came on the scene. Give me a Miranda Lambert. No. Oh, that's a solid answer. Yeah. I don't know how it ever she started. Give me George Strait, correct. Yep. That's four. How many? He has four? Yeah, Eddie only got five, dude. Oh, well. Yeah, one more he can tie. I'm gonna tie you right here. Come on. Martina McBride. No. Oh, great guess. Oh, you know what I like me? A redneck woman. Give me Gretchen Wilson. No. Oh. You liked you, a redneck woman? How many more do you have left? I have two. Okay, so if you get both, you'll beat Eddie and you'll tie Amy. You need both. Oh, well, I probably don't have it. Give me a little boom, boom. Luke Bryan. No. Too early. I don't think I'm too boring yet. I had no idea. And then this guy had a song back then. Had a mullet. Give me Blake Shelton. No, Amy guessed it, too. Then wanted to fight me when I said no. Mm-hmm. He was around. Can I tell you who I missed? What do you mean a name you came up with? Yeah, that one was out there.

Yeah. Because I saw a pool next door. And I was like, man, you know who likes the water? Kenny Chesney. That had been number one. Dang. If we just wanted to let him do that. If you let me switch to the hero, I'd have this. Yep. Our winner is Amy. Eddie, that's embarrassing. Wow, Amy is our champion. I'll read you all of them. I mean, guys, I've been a country fan my whole life. Hold on. So there be an extra because the lunch box talked about. No. Who even knows what he's up to? You know he's always up no good. I mean, you can ask the glass room. Ask her sitting out there. Ask them. Do research. Okay, you guys are just saying things now. Number one, Kenny Chesney. Got it. Number two, Keith Urban. Oh, man. Keith Urban was that early? Oh, yeah. Number three, Tim McGraw. Number four, nobody got Toby Keith. Oh, yeah. Number five, Brad Paisley. Oh, my God. He dominated that. Number six, Carrie Underwood. Number seven, Rascal Flats. Oh, that's a band. Number eight, George Straight.

Number nine, nobody got this one. It was a repeat, Alan Jackson. Again. Yeah, it's long zone. Yeah, where were you drive? Remember when it's five o'clock somewhere? Oh. And number 10, Taylor Swift. Amy is our winner. Amy. Eddie Silver, lunch box. Bronze. He's just happy he got a medal. That's right. All right, good job. It's the anonymous inbox. Anonymous inbox. Yeah. There's a question to be had. Send it in to the mail. Yeah. I'm gonna let you handle this one. Amy, this is right up your alley. Okay. Hello, Bobby Bones. Do you think it's okay to unfollow friends on social media if seeing their posts just makes you feel worse about your own life? Sign scrolling and spiraling. Oh, you don't have to unfollow them. You can just mute them. I do that. And then that makes it easy. They don't know that you're not watching their stuff and then there's not this awkward feeling. Now, if you don't mind that and you just want to unfollow,

that's a clear cut. But if you just want to go under the radar with it, mute them. Don't purposefully keep things around you that make you feel worse. Period. Do not allow negativity or things that allow you to feel negative to be in your space if they don't have to be. Why would you do that to yourself? You easily can mute. I got like seven people muted to think I follow them. And sometimes I just unfollow. Couple, I just block. And they know when you block them? No, but if they go to your page, they can't find out. Got it. Got it. Yeah. Because you don't get a letter in the mail. Hey, you've been blocked. If you go search for it, it doesn't even come up. So with this, it's more so than just social media. If you're electing to have something in your life that makes you feel worse for any reason, that's on you. You're doing that to yourself.

Do not do that to yourself. Rit yourself of it. Now, there are certain things in our lives we can't rid ourselves of. I'm not talking about those. But people you follow on social media, maybe people in your friend group, if you electively have somebody in your circle, or that you follow, that makes you feel worse about yourself. GTFO. Does that mean? Yes. Good. Yeah. But it's really just PTMB. Oh, I know. PTMB. Play, please. No. No. Play the mind. PTMB. Put the money in the bag. No. You're robbing banks. What the heck? No, press the mute button. Yeah, mute. Mutes the way to go. But also you get to mute their stories too. Because sometimes their stories don't pop up after you mute it. And you don't mind if I do. No. Feel bad. Why would you have to mute all the areas?

Yeah, mute feed mute story. Oh, nice. Yeah, there you go. Okay, scrolling and spiraling. Leave. Get rid of them. All right, that's it. Close it. The body belongs to. Okay, lunchbox wants to do a bit called Amy is disgusting. Would anyone else like to hear this bit? Sure. Okay. How about you? I'm nervous. What did I do? Okay, welcome to the bit called Amy is disgusting. And leading this bit will be lunchbox. Go ahead. Yes, Amy, we've all seen her little cup of coffee that she comes in with that metal straw. It doesn't have a lid. Okay, cool. You think it's disgusting and not have a lid? Not really that big a deal to me. The only problem is we walk to the bathroom. And I watch Amy walk in the bathroom with her coffee cup. Yeah. And I'm like, what are you doing? Okay. Like you guys think I'm gross. That is absolutely disgusting. I saw it two days in a row and I was like, okay, we got to talk about this. Okay, all of our stalls have doors and we have a couch. No, that doesn't matter, Amy. And what is the couch? And it's not even near.

I lay it down on the couch bench thingy right when you walk in. It's nowhere near any of the restrooms. Like our bathroom's huge. All the poop air? No, no. There's a couch. No, no, there's doors. And there's women aren't doing that in there. Women aren't doing what in there. Not at our office. No, no, no. So, okay, what I do, if I have a drink, I leave it out on the table. I don't take it into the bathroom. I sometimes do that. Then I sometimes forget and I just carried in and I set it down. It's not that big of a deal. But you're like misorganic healthy. Yeah, organic. It's organic. Matter, you know. Is that gross? I mean, hearing it back, it's a little gross. Amy, I'm shocked that you do that because that is disgusting. But y'all are acting as if I'm taking it into the stall and I'm not. You're taking it into the bathroom. And it guys, to be clear, the bathroom's one big stall. It's just with a bunch of toilets. With actual doors that shut.

It's not even like the doors are blocking all the air. Are there air that can go above and below the doors? Yeah, but does it make its way to the front? Sure. Like over by the sinks and the mirror. When the grossest guy on the show is calling you out for something gross. Right, it's not a good thing. That's pretty gross. I know. And in the end, we learn something, but also we judge someone. And that's what we're all about on this show. Don't take your gross cup into the bathroom, we'd say. I won't. Yeah, even. He does not really care. He's being dramatic. Oh, no, you got poop drink. Oh, I don't. You drink it. Is that what we call it now? No, I don't know. Yeah, poop drink. Oh, I am just got poop drink. Okay. Bobbitt Mone Show. Bound head. Dory of the day. This story comes us from Washington. A 35 year old man was on the way to the movies. And he pulls up at a railroad crossing. And the arms come down. Ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding. Sorry, trains come and he's like, man, if I wait for this train, I'm going to be late for the movie. So he drove around the little arms. Boom! Got hit by the train.

How do you not look though? I know. You shouldn't drive around the arms. I grew up in a town where there was a train that went through every day twice. The sawmill. So it wasn't like a get on, Chuchu, we're taking you to a new city. It's all in the sawmill around. I saw, you know, saw the chips and two buffers. But we knew when the train was coming through, but even if the arms went down and it was way, way down there, you could still go around. Yeah. You could small town too. But you could, you looked. Because that, what, how long was the train? It was very, very, very long. Right, so you're in a loose. 20 minutes. 20 minutes, easy. But, and you shouldn't go around sticks, but if you look, and it's, maybe their depth perception is off. Then don't drive. Then you shouldn't even be having a license. Also, trains go faster than they look. That train. And now I'm fine, they didn't. Oh. It was very slow, because we were at the mill, so it didn't have any speed built up. But they had a light, right? Like in the front, it was dark. They didn't run it. They didn't run it at night. Okay. It's daytime only. Yeah. I did this the other day. You remember I told you? You, you, you went around the room? I was going to run, let, no, I, I've just beat the arm.

The arm was coming down and I was like, you know what, I have time. Did you look and see if there was a train coming? Yeah, there was a train coming. But I mean, that's, it was far away. Was it around the bend? It was definitely around the bend. But man, I made it. I would have missed the podcast for sure. Dang. You probably hadn't done that since you don't know when. Don't know when. Dang. Do you know this song? Oh. You're the train of coming. Folsom County Bruce. Close. Yeah. I'm coming around the bend. You know what, why not? Um, okay. That's a bonehead. I'm much more excited to your bonehead story the day. Go. On the Bobby Bone Show now. Oomong landers. It's the second time being here. Lama landers everybody. Yeah. Man, it's, it's like I watched it, turn into a butterfly from a caterpillar. That's it, man. But you're always good. You're always like really good. I was talking to your guys. I said, this is, is it Lama's first time up here? Because I saw him on TikTok. I was like, you're so good. Please drive up and play on our show. So it's great to see you again. Thanks for having me, man. Now it's, it's like real life blowing up. Like I saw you play the opera. Yes, sir. Yeah. How was it the grand old opera for you?

I was crazy, man. It was surreal. I got to sing with Vince Gill and he was super complimentary. It's just, it's very surreal. It makes no sense. It does. We'll make sense. Because you're so good. Like you, you just, you just, I don't even know how to say it. Like you're just a real authentic thing. When did it start happening for you with like legitimate people going, Hey, Lamont, we believe in you and invest in you? Shortly after my appearance on your show, you know, a multitude of things started happening. Disappearance and conjunction with, you know, Quest Love, the drummer of the roots, and you know, the leader of Jimmy Fallon's band. He reposted one of my covers and Dave Cobb saw it and reached out and saw me to his imprint, Lucille Records. Dang. I know. It's crazy. Whenever you get a call like that, because sometimes it's NFL draft people prank their friends, we're like, we want to draft you third. Are you going, is this really Dave Cobb? Or is this like a joke? It would have broke my heart if it was a joke, but not it was a real deal, man. And he flew me in my mandra at the Savannah. And yeah, Dave's just, he changed my life.

So how has it been musically for you? Because you're in with a bunch of like legit players. Now, last time you came out by yourself and just like crushed it, but now you get to hire like real players. Well, no, I've been playing with, I've been rocking with these guys. How long? For, I've been playing with Raven for like 10 years. Oh, so, so he brought the guys with them then. Yeah, juju for four years. Oh, that's nice. For 10 years and pet, 10 years. You guys off from Alabama, around Alabama, south, where you guys off from? All over? You're North Carolina? We're off in the same hometown. Oh, really? Yeah. Man, well, would you, we can keep talking about, I'd love for you to play something. I'd like to play one for you. Would you play the new song? Yeah. Okay, so this is Lonely Girl. And so, did Stapleton write this? He did. Okay, so Chris Stapleton wrote this song. This is Lamont Landers, full bands here. He's gonna play Lonely Girl. I'm gonna be quiet whenever you guys are ready. Oh, I'm sorry. We can't post the live performance on the podcast. But if you go to our YouTube page, you can watch it there.

Or maybe listen live. Okay. All right. Now back to the podcast. Oh. Come on. Yeah. I don't curse, but if I did, I'd say holy. Yeah. Yeah. That call was really pivotal for me. Hey, it's Emily Tish Sussman. And this season on She Pivots, the podcast where women share bold career moves and personal turning points that changed everything. I sit down with culture shifting women who share their pivots like Para Olympian Alley Truett. I was like, I'm on out from a shark attack. There's no way in 11 months I'm making the very long text advocate Elizabeth Smart. I still feel that drive that I can still make a difference. So I'm gonna keep going. Celebrity chef Carla Hall was that scary to walk away from such a stable career after those two years? No, I was more afraid of being unhappy than I was broke and in a dead and job that I

didn't enjoy. And feminist legend, Gloria Steinem. All of us were trying to express women's real lives. We need a meeting place of our own. And if I can contribute to that, I'd like to maintain that and leave this house for that purpose. Listen to She Pivots on the I Heart Radio app Apple Podcast or wherever you get your podcasts. I revisit some of the biggest stories from Hollywood history, separating the myths people want to believe from the reality underneath them. Like how the story of Marilyn Monroe isn't just the story of the Hollywood icon. Marilyn Monroe has become so iconic that her death can only be explained through conspiracy theories. And for some fans who can't let go, these stories have metastasized from conjecture to accepted fact. To on August 4th, 1962, Marilyn Monroe died. Then the rumors started and she died again. And now we're going to set the record straight and learn about the way Marilyn Monroe actually

died in the third way. Learn more about what happens when fame, media obsession and conspiracy collide. Listen to Hollywood land on the I Heart Radio app Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. Your honey's, this is goodbye. In February of 2024, celebrated illustrator and children's book author, Patre Mathers and her husband Michael, nailed letters to dozens of friends and family members to let them know that they had died by suicide. By the time you get the shalliter both Petra and I will be dead. Next stop, Wonderland. Patre and Michael were by all accounts healthy, happy and in love. Why did they do it? And what did it do to the people they left behind? I would have given a million reasons to not leave this world had I known. I keep coming back to a truly hope that Patre was a thousand percent on board with the plan. Do you think of him as having killed her? Yes, I do. I hold Michael responsible for my mother's death.

I'm Leon Nevock. And I'm Alice Gregory. Together we set out to interview everyone who got one of Patre and Michael's letters. There's one married couple trying to understand another. Listen to death of an artist on the iHeart Radio app, Apple podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. So that's the Montlanders. You've come a long way as far as now you look cool too. Let's be honest. Because what would happen is on TikTok you go and you'd see this red hair guy, you'd plan it up a little bit. Like look how nerdy I am but also then hear me sing. But now you kind of like fit the vibe too. Thanks man. The infrastructure is definitely quite a big part of that. By that you mean you can afford clothes? Yeah, I'm talking about. Yeah, I appreciate that. Are you getting to play a bunch of shows on the road? Yeah, we got a tour coming up in September doing a bunch of dates across the southeast. Playing the Otis Redding Festival. I get to sing Otis Redding songs to the Otis Redding family. That's cool. Which is a huge honor and I did that last year and they're the best.

Yeah man, it's just it's all moving and shaking and it's just I'm living the dream. I should say that song lonely girl was written by Stapleton and Jesse Frazier who's a family friend and if I don't say Jesse Frazier he will punch me in the face. That's right. Because his wife and my wife are close friends too. Man, that's really good. I know it's really good but that's really good and we get a lot of really good people. Do you feel like when you come to Nashville like people are are you get to play here a much in town? I mean I used to just lug it out in the club to appear a lot and doing the four hour gigs and stuff back in the day. I don't as much anymore but I still do from time to time. They got to like be intimidated by you like if I moved to Nashville and I see a guy playing in a small club and he sings like that. I think I go back home. I just turn my car around and I drive home. I don't feel the way at all. There's a man there's a lot of talented individuals in the city. Yeah but I don't know if you hear yourself like we hear you. Yeah I don't. I tend to not think I sound very good at all but if you do that that's all the matter. Okay. The clip that I see sometimes still is your Apollo clip. It's so funny because you walk out there and they're like oh ha ha ha ha.

And then you hit up. I thought it was like ha ha ha ha ha. I got it. Okay. I'm like what is this? Yeah what is this? Let's ha ha ha like what is this? It's kind of like what is this ha ha ha. Okay. And then you melt their faces off. That I think that's one of my favorite clips because it just shows you like you don't even really know what you got. Not just you in general but like art in general. You don't know what's underneath whenever it comes to art. Or a judge a book by its cover. People often saying to you it's hard for you to do your kind of music which is kind of like a soul R&B little bit of country. It's hard to define it but like you can't do that. You're a red hair guy. I think man I think it's been you know as a kid I hated the way I looked. You know I feel like a lot of people feel that way when they're kids but I mean I really did it's having red hair you're like man this is not fun. But you know it ended up being like my greatest asset in a way you know it's like because I looked this way the bar is so low that I'm just a little bit above that bar. It's amazing. But now you know the Apollo thing is crazy to do the Apollo and the Opera. I looked that up there's like maybe 50 people in the history of time that have done both

things. So it's crazy he was there for that and it's just it's special man to play both those places is just kind of crazy. Tell me about your granite allopry experience. It was it was amazing. Again Vince Gill got to sing with him and he's just like the nicest human being in the world. I had done background vocals on the song his and my mom is such a big fan when I was a kid a baby even he was the first concert that I went to you know and so I told him that when I was talking on the phone he's like well bring your mom with you and I was like no he didn't mean that and I call him back the day before and I was like if it's cool I'm really going to bring my mom he said bring it with you. So my mom got to hang out with Vince Gill and talk to him while I'm doing these background vocals and it's just amazing man again I pinched myself at the opportunities that I've had this being one of them this was kind of like a the catalyst for a lot of things so. Well you're being very nice by saying that it was going to happen for you regardless and I don't know that this played a role at all but I remember again I'm jaded because

I get to see everything in a great way like it I get to see everything and I get to see it up close and I get to see it acoustic and know what's real and what's not and then to watch you sing and just be like hey because I just messaged you like hey you should come up and play the show and been blown away have been following you ever since so I'm looking at your tour dates here all these guys go with you yeah yeah man that's gotta be cool. They were packing to a van and just slug it out. Where are you from in Alabama? Decatur Alabama so I'm just like an hour and a half hour 45 straight down to 65. Do you ever go karaoke and just grab yes yes yes what is your go to I like the dip now again I like old school stuff I mean occasionally I'll do like Justin Timberlake or something that's just like fun but now like dark into the street actually lately I've been doing Peter Gabriel Sledgehamers kind of in my go to oh that is a jam too that's funky too and I like to do like the white man can't jump kind of thing like where again you walk on stage and people think you suck and maybe get some side hustles going on. Well I guess I would have the math book yeah sure yeah I'm really humble and you're like

oh what's this microphone here I'll make you kill and it's so cool. Would you do a Stevie Wonder song for us yeah man all right what are you going to do here we're going to do Stevie Wonder I wish all right this is Lamont Landers by the way Lamont is out Lamont Landers I come he's I'm going to read some of these shows and making Nashville so what you're playing the opera house yeah I'm doing the opera again they invited me back okay so you're going back okay I'm going to invite you every week like if you're in town you just come to the opera I would say if they'd have me I'd do it Lex Lexington Columbus a lot of the cities are shows in Mobile Jackson Bloomington Illinois Columbia Missouri everybody at my home a little rock he's playing white water tavern so go see Lamont Landers all right here he is whenever you guys are ready. Oh I'm sorry we can't post the live performance on the podcast but if you go to our YouTube page you can watch it there or maybe listen live okay all right now back to the podcast

Lamont Landers that's a lot that is so good do you still are you still on TikTok doing stuff yeah I still I still do the thing what but less less of the like less less of like the cover stuff um pivotene to you know posting the original stuff yeah making that transition because it used to be you go on this page and you go like this is not me I'm not lip-syncing it worked didn't it it worked of course it worked because I would be like okay well let's see if he is happy like nah he's not singing that that's not coming out of that guy but man that's crazy you guys are so good you guys you guys sound so tight a great job all you guys so much you guys go watch Lamont Lamont Landers dot com and go check out the tour and man you got a tour you got a song you got a record coming next year yep how many songs you're doing in that when you know yet I think we got ten I believe we got ten on the record is it done okay all right well come back I will man you don't even have to do all this is so nice you guys just set up and

sound this good but next time you just come by yourself just bring like a broom with a a rubber band yeah rubber band just do that uh there is you guys go support Lamont when he's out on the road they sound so good you just heard him there and check out a song little Negro there is the great Lamont Landers nice it's time for the good news a woman was sitting in her office at home and doing some work and she looks over and she's like oh there's that lottery ticket I bought seven weeks ago I guess I should check and see if I won looks she won three point four million dollars that is insane and she's like oh I guess I can close in my computer looks like I'm gonna be retiring and she's only been playing the lottery for six months dang I think I should look at the lottery ticket I bought weeks ago that's amazing her and her husband both are probably gonna retire they said of course oh my goodness great story

dad is what it's all about that was tell me something good all right voice now currently I'm 33 and adopted and recently I was reached out to buy my biological brother which led to me being contacted by my biological dad I have never met them and so that was kind of a surprise and I was wondering if you had any advice on I don't know what to even say but I already thought you might have some good insight on it thanks for the guys yeah my advice would be do not set an expectation on it that's my only advice you don't know them you don't know what they're about you don't know why they're reaching out could be love could be curiosity could be they need something they may be great people they may be terrible people you don't know put no expectation on it whatsoever yeah I've had a similar situation where I reached out to my biological father we had lunch and I had no expectation and then we had no relationship after but I felt good about at least doing it because I'd created like this supervillain in my head then after I

had the lunch I didn't feel like that was the case I don't feel like it was supervillain or he was so you for sure should do it because you don't want to regret not doing it later because this is your blood I hesitate to use the word family because there is a difference but this is your blood also you can learn things if it's your blood about your medical history like there are actual things you can learn about yourself by having some sort of relationship with them I would do it and have no expectation and what do you say that ain't up to you also it's just gonna be awkward and feel really unnatural at the beginning anyway for everybody just know that they feel weird about it too but weird doesn't mean bad and also here's where they have the advantage it's two on one so they kind of get to go uncomfortable with somebody else I would take somebody with you oh yeah that's interesting tag team tag team champs you have tag team match take your husband best friend why I don't know whatever you got don't go by yourself are you ever looking for an apology or an explanation no okay no explanation to me kids 17 years old

biological dad left um no no I don't need it at this point I think there's probably a part of my life where it would have been nice to go hey here's why I'm not but I get it yeah some people prioritize differently than others it's an interesting question though that's the tough one man what I mean I have adopted kids and I just wonder if when that'll ever happen I feel that I was putting a better situation eventually later because it all happened though like I think there were definitely some extremely lean years when my mom was raising me by herself or my grandma was raising me by herself or they were tag teaming raising me and we had nothing but I think for us to kind of dumble into Arkansas Keith I think that was much better than what it would have been at that point had they stayed together yeah so also made me tough but no I don't need an apology I often wonder if I'd go to the funeral if he died like if it was tomorrow I don't feel like a need to but I'm not I don't go because of anger but if my sister calls out love for you to come I probably

go so I'm not like so anti it but also he's not dying that I know of but I think about stuff like that a little bit man having a baby that makes you feel different about it like I don't see anyway whatsoever I could just bail but also I'm not 17 right like my mom got pregnant at 15 he was two years older than her so it's different for sure but yeah my advice to you would be no expectations you have to do it don't commit to having to have them be family forever that would be it but it's great they reached out yeah anything I said that you agree or disagree with no I agree with it all and you're the only one that has lived this first hand so I think you're the most equipped I yeah you get yeah I adopted kids yes and I have one of them has started communication with their birth mom more regularly how does that feel I'm I'm thankful

that they have a line of communication open I think there's been some confusion of her you know there's obviously some feelings of abandonment because with my daughter her mom dropped her off when she was almost six so she remembers yeah like being dropped off at the orphanage and then she has other siblings that she's like mine then because I was five so I mean like I know what it's like to remember that much yeah and so knowing that there were other siblings that didn't get dropped off that she had later yeah I think she now has that line of communication to her if she wants to ask like why didn't you keep me and you kept them then she'll have that and have those answers so that's stuff she's had to to process I mean abandonment wounds are very real yeah I'm totally and I'm totally normal and adjusted right come all good like nothing about me and all is there's no issues at all right everybody yeah sarcasm helps sometimes

you know yeah yeah yeah yeah you have to go do it so go do it just have no expectation that would be my advice and let us know how it goes 90 seconds on the clock let's see how many of Amy's morning corny's we can get lunch box Eddie and myself Amy ready um 90 seconds let's go yeah the morning corny why did the chicken get in trouble at school buck quack quack and joke keep clacking up the chicken oh clacking up Joe's butt quack uh big flunked out why did the chicken I'll get school I foul foul foul foul foul foul language um what is a pig with three eyes oink oink and bacon three eyes try crazy bacon three tries try bacon try clubs try pork with three eyes porky porky to trick pork glasses cross eyes three eyes

three eyes okay set again what is a pig with three eyes make with three eyes oink what if it's him what if it's um what if it's spelled with three eyes oh pig that's it wow dude next level why do pastries make terrible friends they're flaky they're flaky good guys what time of day did god create Adam Adam a night time Eve Eve evening yeah evening evening that's good though what time of day did god create Adam afternoon after after nucle after Adam time of day after what time of day Christmas Eve um morning I'm gonna say again say yeah what time of day did god create Adam it's a Catholic I should know this um Eve I don't know why I'm thinking of an Adam oh my gosh y'all so close lunchbox just said after Eve but Adams was created just before Eve

so just before Eve yeah yeah we didn't ever got that what on lunchbox said right after Eve but biblically he would know that Adam came you would know that yeah you would yeah because either we wouldn't get the judge I wouldn't know to say before like right before Eve that would have been tough you said after Eve okay what what you got you got foul language you got uh pig and you got uh pastries or flaky friends okay three have solid solid I bet yeah all right all right all right here we go clear eyes full hearts can lose it's time for the good news what's producer yeah collie elrod regga's he's from Colorado and he's outside his apartment complex when he sees a four-year-old girl hanging out her apartment window I think on the second or third floor balcony and so he's like what do I do he calls 911 the dispatcher says you know what we got someone out there

but if she falls you might have to catch her so I'm looking at the video guess what oh she falls and he and he catches her it's a video show her fall oh my god do you see it yeah so she is like just message to four year olds just messing around so she hangs her legs out the window right she then starts to fall out and goes oh god I can't hold on so her butt is out at first and then her whole back is out she's trying to hold on with her arms and then she falls the whole time he's on the phone with the operator oh my gosh and she kind of instructs him on what to do he catches her so saves her life and now the police department has given him a citizen award for being a hero a what award citizen award interesting you say it the right way probably what citizen what do you say citizen citizen citizen citizen what am I saying different I think you're saying it right and we're pronouncing the Z yes but as I said I think I might say it wrong I would say say the

kind of arrest you would do Amy citizen arrest citizen's arrest yeah Eddie what would you say citizen arrest no you wouldn't you wouldn't say citizens arrest yeah citizens arrest because it's a Z guys I'm not we know what it is we're saying we probably say it wrong but I've never heard it said citizen huh I see it written citizen so I pronounce it citizen lunchbox what do you say citizen roast yeah citizen interesting we're wrong I bet I've never heard it said you think it's because English is my second language that you say things right yeah no well no I say it's just the way it's written I think that's probably the right way to say it well you put the the sound on it citizen you're saying it right thing guys you're not a citizen citizen citizen yeah you could never stop citizens arrest right we need her but I'd like to say I said that you said it right the first time hey I'll take it yeah I he caught her she's alive pretty amazing that's a great story

they have video of the whole thing what about the person's videoing it who's not not helping yeah yeah because they got her coming out they got him catching her it's a good point yeah there you go saved her that's what it's all about that was tell me something good I haven't had a haircut in a while my hair's gotten a little longer than normal and so my wife says that my hair looks like what celebrity Amy I don't know my wife said your hair looks like blank what celebrity do you think she said is it a no no no you know hints I was no hints like male or female my wife says my hair looks like what celebrity I don't know Eddie Tom Holland spider-man yeah doesn't he have like kind of wavy here oh no lunch box chip gains from chip and Joanna do houses got it like when he wears a hat like that it kind of sticks out and then okay in any guess now I'm trying to think of a female that has wavy hair like I know it doesn't

no Amy knows it's not gonna be because she's my wife is cutting she's like a Rosio Donald oh my gosh that's what was in my head and I didn't want to say it oh my god why is your hair like a Rosio Donald catch your hair okay so that literally no you can't cry okay that's when he does all the time and you're like yeah because you want to sound like you knew what it was no I felt like I don't want to say that Bobby's gonna get offended when you pulled up four pictures of Rosio Donald going you look like her here you look like her here you look like her hair here you look like her hair there that's funny this taught me I need to just say it whenever you not just said it yeah like um when I oh I hold back no you don't hold it don't hold it 100% negative I know I just did so perfect example of me holding back because I thought you know my wife's gonna be cutting it's not she's gonna not gonna pick a model or a good looking actor yeah but then if I say Rosio Donald and

that's not exactly she's gonna laugh in all of us and we go oh class again no you might be like you know what that one hurts and then I'm gonna be like dang it dang it oh and like that cross my mind okay here we go okay I listen I did I so mad at myself for not just saying I love me I get told to like Rosio Donald's here that is pretty bad this is one of those things gonna keep me having night that call was really pivotal for me hey it's Emily Tish Sussman and this is an unsheepivots the podcast where women share bold career moves and personal turning points that changed everything I sit down with culture shifting women who share their pivots like Para Olympian Ali Truett I was like I'm a month out from a shark attack there's no way in 11 months I'm making the very long text advocate Elizabeth Smart I still feel that drive that I can still make a difference so I'm gonna keep going celebrity chef Carla Hall was that scary to walk away from such a stable career after just two years no I was more afraid of being unhappy than I was broke

who wasn't serious about life did a frapper or what no was that guy that was so remember no job no remember that dude yeah oh is that the dude you're talking about oh yeah i don't know yeah we know we saw some some kid driving Amy's car yeah he was more than 10 years younger yes no yeah oh come on no no i don't think so honestly i've sort of blocked it out i don't really remember but i just think if you've got that gap you've got to have stuff in common and that's what throws me about some of these men that do it 10 15 20 years younger i'm like 12 years younger than i am yeah but she's very mature okay i agree yeah at times uh wait wait wait i'm going on with you yeah yeah like y'all but but it can happen it can totally happen i have dated i mean my last boyfriend was the diss i think the distance between you and katelyn the opposite like he he was you get to say older he was older he was you i was katelyn so and we had plenty in common

but we're at similar stages in life with kids and so what's your perfect bracket i guess based on this information no just your perfect bracket probably older really yeah you like older dudes wow five years older ten you i mean i'm trying to think of any relationship i've had besides that little mishap that's not a business that's a learning experience okay and you missed out you could have taken an immediate Santa in a few months that would have been so fun for you now yeah uh so five years older five years older ten years older i could go ten years 12 obviously fifteen maybe now at this point you go like twenty five soon enough you'll just get some free money because they die yeah you get the older person yeah i guess yeah i mean we're we're getting to that point i mean i've i've had to consider sixty we kind of stopped her she was climbing yeah i know i jumped i wonder how that she would have that that's what i'm saying sixty i sixty would have to be i'd have to really think about it but i've had a six-year-old connect with

me like you know that we don't need to talk about it you know you know a sixty-year-old yeah connect with you he's tried to like be like hey oh yeah but i didn't think he was sixty oh yeah he's sixty one oh now oh he must have had a birthday yeah yeah yeah yeah but famous sixty is different because you're still like thirty like you stop maturing from the moment you get really famous because you don't have to turn wow and he's been famous for a while yeah it's like thirty so i don't know i just uh wonder what your bracket was what do y'all think my bracket is i mean wide open i think anywhere from twenty five to seventy yep yeah so wide open you don't mean that you've now y'all have known me forever yeah i'm sure you could figure out what a good age range for me but yeah at this point you got to start just taking what you can get right yeah she's getting old she's a garbage disposal or what yeah she's whatever yeah she's getting older and you can't be as picky when you're older hmm i don't i don't know

that that's true i think you have to be picky you're successful you got to watch out people try to use you for your success there's money to drive your car yeah we saw it we saw it we saw it first we saw it first hand we didn't say anything about it i know i know you're good friends are you on are you are you apinit no are you gonna app it no are you i balling it like looking around places you go uh no i mean kind of i guess and i've i've been asked out i don't i'm not intro i don't i don't i don't know what it is like i'm not interested it's really i'm interested in dating but i haven't been in i'm just not interested in going out yeah and maybe that will change or maybe she's not the right person mm-hmm have you winked at the bar at anybody no no no okay then i'm pinned to the bar i'm you've been to the club and i haven't winked at the bar and i don't know i was trying to talk through this with some my girlfriends like i don't know what it is like

i just don't have an interest in going i don't i guess it's just not the right person yeah i'd agree with that so okay so set 25 to 75 we're gonna settle on that no we're not gonna show what if we did a bit oh yes dm lunchbox we all bring someone in i think the more ideal is that's funny 42 no we're not all bringing somebody in that's how people get murdered there's no chance what 42 to 57 the dudes ever DM you to say what's up uh yes yeah i don't i don't reply i mean it's not like a lot yeah but they're do you get DM'd yeah yeah yes and what do they say usually um if i lived in nashville or can i rub your feet oh there that forward i think it's just feet people i don't even know that it's that forward i think it's just a little bit of a thing i'm gonna rub your feet different than the guy that wants pictures of my feet and he continuously offers five hundred dollars for pictures of your feet

yes can we send them pictures of my feet and say they're your feet and split the money hmm no i don't know i don't know my feet are pretty feminine did y'all see i did a post not too long ago and i realized my feet were in the picture and i scratch them out because of the feet dm's like it and i'm not just posting it we don't notice your feet so we wouldn't notice you being a scratch now i mean if y'all noticed that i colored over it with the draw like i drew over my feet because you ain't giving that for free yeah i can't uh no because what if i do get desperate one day and i need that right okay now now where it's out of control so i had to go invited to go back out on the lake again with that same dad and son and the last time we did this you thought it was a little weird because you didn't really know the dad no i mean they play sports together like my like my kids play sports together but i don't know the dad at all that first trip was better than i expected it was all day on a like a party barge just us four mm-hmm so that went well it wasn't bad and then we went to dinner afterwards i picked up

the bill it was it wasn't a bad day all right update guys i got invited again okay i got the invite you get the second date yeah so yeah so i guess like he really had a good time too that he wants to do it again so he invited me to go back to the lake he said he's got the boat for the afternoon but he also extended invitation to spend the night and play golf in the morning oh wow this wow you wow that escalated Amy i don't know if i'm ready for that are you ready for an overnight on the second day i don't think so i don't think i'm ready for that but it also includes golf yeah but what if it doesn't go well that night right then i'm stuck you still play golf and you get your own room what okay now you've gotten too far no haven't no there can be double beds i have not gone too far not sleeping in the same bed you think two adult men are gonna sleep in the same bed too adult if i was going somewhere the girlfriend absolutely had share a room what are you talking about guys don't do that okay they could share not not like this if you're being invited out as you and your

son maybe you and your son would possibly share room with two beds that's fine yeah but the two dads aren't sure but if there's two maybe the weirdest thing okay i don't think it's an unreasonable we're like rubbing feet together like separate beds but same room if two dads that don't even really know each other we're on a trip together i just don't think they'd be sharing the same room okay if they were like long lost best friends there are only two bedrooms i thought i get that and i don't know the sleeping arrangement they have a lake house but i don't know Amy i mean it could be one room no no it's at least three bedrooms that would have been for the adult adult in the two kids share room okay so it's a lake house miss that part but regardless guys i don't think i'm there yet i don't think i want to spend the night how fun would that be for your kid yeah but why can't you just go home after the boat that's what i'm saying because how far away it's a lake house an hour and a half you can drive home we just come home no problem but what do you say to him so he's not offended that you don't want to stay the night with him uh church got to do church on

Sunday's man or just send him this episode so you're gonna know i hope you just hear this but the real reason is i just don't know if i'm ready for that it's a commitment i don't really know in that well so you're gonna use churches alive though no i'll go to church no i know you're going but yeah you miss what i said there i will go to church so it's not a lie uh but i mean what i love to stay and play golf dude yes i think this golf course is right by the lake i'm shocked she's not saying this doesn't seem like that big of a deal to me staying the night i can't it is i mean that's the whole weekend too okay like you're just basically saying this whole weekend i'm gonna spend with this dude and he's in your boys sure the only hung out with one time only one time yeah that's tough i support you so come home maybe you have to miss the whole thing cancel the whole thing but i love the lake the boat you know how much i love boats okay so you're gonna go on the boat part of it again and then say i can't stay because i got to get back

for church yeah how's that sound what if you get there what if you go down for the day and it's so fun and you're like dang and then you want to have a few drinks and you're like i should stay and we all your stuff stay true me it starts from it really is it means we're like make out of the dude but everything like if he's on the boat and he has like two beers he shouldn't drive that that's a good point i thought about that like does this guy get me drunk on purpose to stay so no no what the pond but it's like i'm gonna be trying to leave his about you can't go you're too drunk you just it's it turns into baby it's cold outside you better stay um you can't drink the second half of the trip at all because you got to drive home cut off yeah at a certain time although are you guys going that hard with your kids now we have a few drinks cuz i was worried that first time i was worried like this he even like to have beers on the lake i do and turns out he did he had a whole cooler full of beers any chance you in this guy up great friends though probably i mean second dive in oh i think eventually we would be able to

spend the night and like you know i've changed i think you should stay the night i don't want to i think you should stay the night because anything can happen this could be a great friend of years in the future your kids will have a good time together and will have a great segment whenever you come back and you want to do down and back same day it's only an hour and a half am you i know but what a blessing stay then stay then i have a lake house i'll think about it and then also i can use the lake house when they're not using it like if you go stay there and at some point you'd be like hey you can use our lake house anytime that's that would be cool and the boat well okay now you're getting ahead of yourself do you know for sure what you're gonna do yet you can think about it i have no idea yet okay uh let us know i vote go spend the night i vote go spend the lunch box oh you got to spend the night dude you got to see where the night leads you okay here we go again it's gonna not go anywhere no no but i know but that way you know and but if it does lead somewhere you know that okay i got to stop hanging out with this dude what you guys make everything

and kasey makes a move oh yeah kasey makes a move no guys to be clear i don't think there's anything you thought they were sleeping the same bed i didn't i thought if they were in a hotel but now i know they're in a lake house like it's fine yeah his lake house though his lake house his rules it's nice average friends though oh his rules like lunch box is saying you can do anything i don't know guys i'm gonna just okay okay i'm not sure update us i will um i think you should stay the night just for the segment that's all i'm saying hey it's bobby bones join me and former NFL quarterback matt castle every Wednesday on our podcast lots to say with me bobby bones and matt castle you're in training camp and the rookie quarterback has one good throwing session in front of the media suddenly everybody online says he should start over you week one how do you handle this you just go back out to practice the next day and wait for him to mess up listen to lots to say with bobby bones and matt castle on the i heart radio app apple podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts college football will hijack your
