Titans Sign Kylen Granson, Building Tight End Depth

On March 16th, the Tennessee Titans kicked off free agency by signing tight-end Daniel

Belinger to a big contract, pairing him with Gunner Helm as their new top duo at the

position.

General manager Mike Borgonzi made it clear they had no plans to keep Chico Conco, who

landed a three-year deal with the Washington commanders.

A few days later, the Titans added another tight-end in a surprise move, signing veteran

Kyle and Granson.

This came right after their heavy investment in Belinger, showing their building depth

at the spot.

Granson brings solid experience, including back-to-back seasons with more than 30 catches each for

the Indianapolis Colts, who originally drafted.

Last year with the Philadelphia Eagles, he saw 244 offensive snaps and nearly 300 on special

teams, plus he worked under.

Current Titans defensive coordinator Gus Bradley during his Colts days.

Now, Granson will push David Martin Robinson for a back-up role, especially on special teams

where both guys shine.

The Titans loved Martin Robinson's team, high 377 special team snaps last season, but

Borgonzi wants real competition there.

With Helm and Belinger locked in as starters, this group could lead to carrying four tight-ends

on the 53-man roster, setting up a versatile unit for the upcoming campaign.
