Titans Strengthen Safety Group with Saleh's Picks

On March 14th, the Tennessee Titans are shoring up their safety position for the upcoming season.

They'll start a Monty Hooker and Kevin Winston Jr., and they've added depth by signing

Tony Adams and resigning Jerk Reed II.

This comes after releasing Xavier Woods and losing back up Mike Brown to the New England

Patriots.

New head coach Robert Salah, who came from the New York Jets, has brought in players he

knows well.

Adams fits right in, having played under Salah there after joining as an undrafted free

agent in 2022.

Adams brings solid experience from college at Illinois, where he started as a sophomore

and racked up 82 tackles, three interceptions, and five passes defended in one season.

Last year, he hit a career high with 84 tackles and 12 starts before growing injury ended

his year.

Meanwhile, Jerk Reed II returns after the Titans claimed him off waivers from the Seattle

Seahawks last November.

He's mainly a special team's player, stepping into the role left by Brown, which gives him

a strong shot at the roster.

With these moves, the Titans Safety Group now looks complete and balanced, setting them

up nicely as training camp approaches.
