Welcome to the untold, take it deep breath, take the higher road, it's what they always say, as if they know the way, they won't take it from me. But don't ever doubt yourself as wiping just a drain, you made your own so kick and scream. The people who will act with and never end it for us, you never have the chance to watch your waiting for it. This is come my friend, cause this is what it is. It's time and this is what. Abortion is murder. Here in the United States we've been hearing a lot about abortion, we've been seeing how Massachusetts in mid-August approved abortion through birth.

And if you've listened to the nurses report for any length of time, you know that I am an abolitionist. I think we need to end abortion and there are no exceptions. Those are my personal beliefs, they don't reflect that of any of the other hosts here on the nurses report or America out loud. But I think most people will agree with the fact that abortion is wrong. And so as I was scrolling through social media, I came across some really amazing videos. And it was everyday men speaking up, speaking eloquently, showing their love for life. And I thought, oh my goodness, this is somebody that the world needs to hear. And so that is why I have my guest, Sean, with me today. I am not going to go into his bio. I want to hear it straight from him. You'll notice something special about him once he starts talking. So welcome Sean. Thanks for being here with me. All right. Thanks for having me.

What's the most special thing that I was storytelling? And you think that what it is? The access? Yeah, yeah, we're mostly Americans. Cool. Well, maybe yeah. I guess I could guess what I am not that on a chippy. We could maybe get to any of the guests with that is. Do you know what that is? No. It's a carpenter. So that's my day job. Yeah, Australian trade for babies. For me, it was amazing. So trade is for babies. We're going to talk about that in just a minute. And I guess I didn't say trade is for babies. I was so excited to get to talk to you. But the name should say a lot of it. Americans, tradesmen, trade is for babies is a social media account that I've been following and watching. And just absolutely loving the fact that you're a carpenter to me just added another layer being a Christian, I think of Joseph and the protector. I'm also Catholic. So St. Joseph is the protector of families. And it just kind of makes me giggle when I hear that.

So you found it. 100%. Yeah, you founded this organization. Tell me why? What's the story behind trade is for babies? So it is a bit of a story. So it sort of has a few elements to it. So they're at the moment, this lady, Dr. Joanna Hower, who is really, she's the, she is driving a lot of the pro life movement in Australia. They're at the moment. So she was putting bills forward and organizing rallies and that sort of thing. And there was, there was a rally. And a trade got up on the steps and just started speaking about abortion and how it's awful and how people are so busy working. And they had no idea how it was getting to this because this was at one of the abortion of the birth rallies. And that video got posted online.

And then that went viral. And then a few, this was happening. My wife was making videos on a pro life page called bed sleep. And she was doing that. And then I started making, I made a video in this in my work year. And then that video went viral and we started making more of me wearing the trade here. And then those started to sort of pick up traction. That's when we sort of thought that there was definitely something to, to this, like the, the ordinary man sort of speaking against abortion. And, and yeah, just doing like simple facts like the abortionist murder that, you know, that it's, it's plain murder. And the, you know, it's not high philosophy that it's, you know, ordinary men just pulling up the camera and saying, it is what is. Yeah, that's a beautiful story. And I love how it's you and your wife working together. I think that that's really important is bringing that family dynamic. But in America, what we see at these pro life rallies is just a bunch of women.

And to have strong men stand up who don't necessarily need a degree, but just have moral value. Stand up and, and make these professions is so beautiful. And that's like why I think that's why the movement itself has grown so much so quickly is because men don't, and haven't been given a role for so long in this space that this is really giving them a platform to, to share their story to really, you know, because it's a public page where we just say, send in a video. I'll be your pro life message and we're getting videos. We've been going for not, not a year, but almost a year. And we've been able to feel six videos a week of just men globally, like America, Europe, England, like Australia. So many men just selling, you know, they're a portion story and how they've regretted it. And, and all, you know, like, is I think that's why it's grown is that we really needed a space for men to be able to share their abortion grief and their pro life message because like so many men have abortion grief and they don't have a way to express that. So this, this has grown from, from Simone and I story is that we have an abortion.

When we were 17 and we broke up after that and then we got back together and then we really wanted to make sure that no one else had to make the same awful decision or be able to make that decision that we did make. And it's something that we regret every day and that's why this mission or our message is that it is a human life and you will regret this killing your child for the rest of your life. So that's why we really want to push, you know, this mission is to make sure that people are really, really aware of the fact of what they're doing with abortion. I think that's one of the things that really touched my heart the most as I watched your videos and heard your story and I think, I think the video that I had first seen was of you and the profound grief and men are often told that you can't have these kind of emotions, you're, you're supposed to be stoic. And then also you don't get to make the decision. It's the woman's body as her choice, which absolutely,

I cannot stand that rhetoric. It drives me crazy as a person with a uterus and as somebody who survived multiple dangerous pregnancies and almost lost my own life. You know, I'm able to say, look, and that's what, that was my choice. Like I want to be very clear, that was my choice. I knowingly went into these pregnancies with very high risks. My youngest was born at 24 weeks and you know, we almost died a couple times. She's nine now. And so when we talk about birth or abortion up till birth, that really hits me and part of the reason my husband and I got married is because we lost a baby before we were married. And the way that he loved and cared for me and supported me solidified the fact that this is a man I want to marry because if he can show so much compassion and already cares about all of this. And so it really bothers me when I see these women out there who are rabid and claiming my body, my choice, but the man gets no say and I know that especially from watching my husband.

The depth that this hurts and so I think that adds such another beautiful layer. You're not just fighting for the right of the baby to live. You're fighting for women and you're giving men this beautiful space to allow this grief to take place. And I hope and pray that one of the outcomes is that you guys can find peace with, hey, you know what, I my listeners know I talk about moral injury all the time. And I'm going to send you a link for my moral injury class for you and your wife to take, but you can't carry that guilt with you. You know the weight of the responsibility, but you're doing the Lord's work and unfortunately, you know, you probably wouldn't be doing this if you guys hadn't made that decision. This wouldn't have happened. You wouldn't be saving all these lives now. And while it doesn't change the pain that the two of you experience over it, you know, Christ forgives. He died for our sins and they are forgiven. And so I hope that you guys can embody that. And I don't really know you and I don't know a lot of your story, but I just want to make sure that you know that, you know, there is forgiveness after abortion. And I love what you're doing. And this is not your work is not penance.

Like I hope you take your work is not penance. This is. This would be a better. Yeah, redemptive. And I guess that's why we. What now when we talk about her. We've managed her. So it's it's an advantage of an evangelizing mission is to teach people and really solidify the humanity of these children. So yeah, thank you. You're welcome. Thank you for what you're doing. That's another thing that really strikes me about your videos. Not only yours personally, but the men that are speaking these are tradesmen, traities. They are average joes not, you know, degrees and a bunch of letters after their name, but their stories. They are evangelizing. They are for evangeling. And they are profound in a lot of ways because you see their hearts come out and the vulnerability is so amazing. Why do you think in the culture that we have today that men are willing to do this?

And do you think that's always been there or is it just something that's, you know, this generation? I think men innately and inherently are protectors. But they're not only protectors. If you think about it, they actually want to fight for something. So it's not just in a man to stand back and defend, you know, like the castle or the woman. Because otherwise they would always stay and protect them. But, you know, throughout history we've always seen that we actually bring the battle on a lot of fronts. So I think the fact that a man can go out and fight evil is so innate in us that if we see an evil, then we can go and fight it. So with abortion at the moment, it's clearly the worst that's ever been in human history. Like we have, you know, currently right now we're trying to bring in something where a baby that survived an abortion is given life saving treatment or, you know, even some sort of care.

But like I think what we've gotten to such a point where we can see all of this evil and we've thought of the platform where men can speak to this evil and fight against this evil that if there is a tiniest way that someone can fight against something, then they will do it. Like I think if you show people a method of how to fight, then then they will. Because obviously we can't go and, you know, tear down actual clinics. But if there's, we're starting to see the power of social media and how that changes society and how it can impact like conversations. And I think that that is why this specifically is giving men a platform to be able to fight in some way. So I think men like to defend, but we also really like to fight against evil and there is no greater injustice in the world at the moment than abortion.

Absolutely. And that's beautiful. And you're so right. I run a political organization of advocacy here in the States. And I work with different legislators and there have been various groups. I'm not necessarily I don't run a pro life organization, but I worked alongside a pro life organization in 2021, 2022. And we actually passed the same bill that you're going at a similar bill here in our state. So we, I live in Indiana. It's reportedly conservative pro life. Our Republican party is the more, you know, conservative. I'm using air quotes for my listeners. But we're, you know, we're supposed to be, you know, these Christian anti abortion people. And yet we, we had all sorts of options for abortion. Unfortunately, but we were able to pass what you guys are working on here in the States. And it was a fight and it was a multi year fight. But we, is that, um, are you referring to life saving treatment or kind of care or no life saving treatment that it's required.

What's going on? What had happened? So my daughter was born in 2016. And it's crazy because her due date was supposed to be like March 17th. And there was a little baby born in a hospital here. I went into labor at 21 weeks and had my daughter at 24 weeks. When I initially went into labor, my contractions were three to four minutes apart. And my doctor told me to go go home and let it work itself out. And I had some choice words for him. And I'm a nurse and my cousin's a chiropractor. So we kind of came up with our own plan. And I got to a different doctor and we did everything we could. But I had my daughter just after quote viability. And then right around her due date, a little baby was born in Indiana. And he was born at like 23 weeks. I mean, just under that threshold, but the hospital that he was at, they refused to transfer his mom to a hospital with the capability to care for him. And he basically was murdered by negligence.

And there was nothing that this family could do. And it was just, it's a crazy story. And it really hit me hard because it was right around my daughter's due date. I mean, within days, that this baby was born. And so the pro life group here hooked up with that mama and wrote a bill for it. And then we had a legislator who at the state level carried that legislation. And we were able to pass. So that way if a baby is born alive, they get treatment. It is illegal to deny care to a baby who is born alive. And so that was a huge victory. Yeah, that's so good. I really, I pray that we get to that. And I really, what I want to start doing is drill down on the argument for why even a pro choice person would be against that. Because if your argument is bodily autonomy and dependency and a lot of the other arguments around that. But if, if if we're talking about the babies being separated, then the pro choice person should actually be against that.

Like they should be against that awful practice of leaving the baby today or not giving it life's treatment. So yeah, I'd really love to press people about that because it's so awful. Like it's just, you know, we've got a few places here that where we've, I think we have a documented case of one baby being left alone for 90 minutes or even more. I think much more, but yeah, it's just awful. Yeah, we've had some of those same stories here in the states where the babies are just left on trays. And, you know, they're not deceased, but they're just left to struggle and. And we, I recently saw something out of Australia. I think it was Australia. A baby was born at 22 weeks or something like that. And it's, I think it just was maybe semi hospital. Maybe. Yeah, that was in the end on the dish pan.

The hospital took care of this baby. I'll have to go. I just watched it on. I'm pretty sure it was in, I want to say it was in New South Wales, but it was shocking to me because I've seen what you guys are doing. And I've seen the things with baby Samuel. I think you just did a video about that a couple days ago. Yes. I think it was a few weeks ago. A few weeks ago. Okay. But this baby was discharged from the hospital and it only weighed, they weighed it in grams. And it was born extremely prematurely and it missed the world record for the earliest baby by days, I think. Okay, but that would be, yes, if this is the, this is the double standard, is that if that baby is wanted, then it will be given everything in the world. But if it's not wanted, then it's, you know, not by the law, not worth saving. So you could go on and on about the double, the double standard. So it's very frustrating. It is incredibly frustrating. You talked a lot about the evil of abortion. And here in the States, you know, our federal government, our Roe versus Wade, which gave women, I hate to say it, but the right to an abortion was overturned a couple years ago.

And that really made quite a flux. And we're seeing across the United States where, like Massachusetts, that I mentioned in the intro, they are legalizing abortion through birth, which is mind-boggling as the mom of a 24-weeker, right? She was nine. Then we have other states like Georgia, I believe, has an abortion ban and they're catching all sorts of flack because the pro-aborts want to say that, you know, you're denying women health care and they're dying because you won't let them, you know, kill their babies and all this, that and the others. We have this very wide range of abortion laws. What is acceptable in Australia? Like what's legal in Australia right now? All states is abortion up to birth for any reason. And when we say any reason, I don't know the same over there, but we are after 24 weeks, you might have a signature of two doctors to go for a later term abortion, but then people will push back and say, well, that doesn't mean that that is abortion for any reason, or that it's even able to have a late term abortion.

But it is because the two doctors don't have anything in place to stop them from signing that. So there's nothing to say, like, a threshold of why they shouldn't sign for the abortion. So we've got cases where mental health has been a reason for women wanting to have a late term abortion. So yeah, that's why we say we have abortion up to birth in Australia. So it is pretty much awful everywhere, but that's why we're fighting to bring in bills of, you know, anything that we can try and pass will pass at the moment. Yeah, God bless you. It's for those of us who are in this sphere, I recognize the sanctity of life. I've been hearing a lot about that on your videos lately, just talking about our innate value as human beings. It's really hard to just understand and imagine how people can accept blatant murder.

I mean, this is a fully formed human being. And if you don't mind, I'm going to share a photo real quick. This is my daughter at birth. She was one pound. Wow. That's, that's what a 24 week baby looks like. I'm fully formed. I still closed. She actually came out breathing. And so that's, that's what they look like. And then I have another photo where she looks, you know, not in a plastic bag. Those are my hands around her. And you can see that's a human being. Yeah. Because, gosh, because that's just not the argument anymore. Like I was explaining this to someone the other day is that back in, I don't know when it's gotten close enough was big. He obviously still is quite prominent. But going through his stuff, a lot of the arguments rest upon the fact that if you can get someone to show that they're human and get them to admit that it's human, then anyone the argument.

But now we're in this stage where people admit that it's human. They know that it's alive. They're very well aware of the fact that it's baby, but they still want it to life to be ended. So that it's not in the world. Like that is more and more of the argument that we're hearing is that I don't care. I just don't want it to be in the world. Even if you say to someone, if you run down the adoption argument, they will still say, but I don't want it in the world. Like I don't want to know that it's in the world. So it's just we've gotten to such a point where people don't care for human value at all. And you know, we are seeing like you can you can call it the culture of death for a reason because the value that we place on human life is so little like you know another conversation would be you know like you say, and suicide and and all I think it all really boils down to have you abortion because it all is placed on on the value that we give humans and that's none at the moment.

So I agree. And again, that's why I love your movement so much. Trades for babies, we're going to have to go to a break here in about four minutes ish. But you brought up you know suicide or assisted suicide and that's one of the things that we talk about quite a bit in America. We have a couple states that allow for what Canada calls made or medical aid in dying and it is just this degradation of the value of human life and the fact that people they're okay with saying I have the power to take this life it's playing God your movement your organization giving every day men the encouragement and power to stand up and say what they believe in is changing the culture. I have no doubt that by the work that you're doing by giving men a platform by standing strong in your convictions and you're so much you're the perfect person for this because you are very level headed you're very rational very kind in all of your interactions and I'm like burn it all down I'm going to go dismantle you know the clinics but you do a great job and so before we go to this break and about you know

two minutes what would you say that your advice from men as they make their videos would be. I think just something that you said about empathy and love is that people genuinely do think that the pro-life people or like the bills that we're bringing in are actually dangerous for women like if you get into the mindset of thinking that these people genuinely actually think that we're creating a lot of things. We think that we're creating laws that will endanger women's lives and we want like their position that these people hold is evil but these people aren't evil. So we need to always time out pro-life work with love in the fact that if we don't show love and these people will never see these humans as as being humans. I think when you make videos share your pro-life message and speak about why abortion is wrong but yeah I don't think condemning someone for having an abortion is probably the best way to go about it because it's always you know obviously we can say that abortion is murder and that it's an awful thing for somebody to do but a lot of the time people have been brainwashed into you know the culpability of someone you know there's obviously a variety of people and it's not just a couple of people.

These are people understanding their abortion but yeah I think yeah. Again another reason why I absolutely love this movement we're talking today with Sean from Trady's for Baby out of Australia fighting for abolition and I'm just going to repeat that quote. The position of these people the position these people hold is evil but these people are not evil. That's the caliber of men we need out actively speaking and I thank you for your work we're going to come back right after this short break we're going to get to talk about abolition in Australia. The wonderful things that you are doing not only in creating cultural change but in changing the laws and that's so important to protect the most vulnerable you're listening to the nurses report we'll see you right back after this break. Why the top of America out loud dot news are the words any voices one freedom united in the first to men.

Now is our time my fellow Americans America out loud dot news liberty and justice for all. Welcome back to the nurses report here on America out loud where you hear from a different nurse host Monday through Friday. 10 a.m. Eastern time which oddly my guest is currently like 8 30 p.m. 9 o'clock p.m. and we're here over an Eastern time at 7 30 a.m. So I'm super excited to have Sean from traities for babies back for the second half of this episode if you didn't listen to the first half of you just are popping on live and you didn't hear the first half you need to go right now make sure that you flag and bookmark so that way you can hear the first half of this episode because you know a lot of times when we look at tradesmen or traities as they say in Australia we don't see the profound heartfelt men.

That are in there we think of hardworking labor intensive et cetera and that is what I love about traities for babies if you go find them on instagram where else are you Sean. Where can people find you. I'm going to get to talk to Instagram Facebook you through all all of the nine ones. All the things we're going to have all those links in our show notes because that's why I personally offended. That's all the admin so she's really good at keeping us on all the stuff. She is really amazing I didn't realize it was her that I was working with I knew it was somebody but it's been difficult to schedule this interview and her persistence is amazing. She's two are working together. She is she is I'm telling my listeners I'm going to be personally offended if you guys don't go follow traities for babies like right now and at least share one of their videos that's that's my call to action Sean may have a different one at the end of the show.

But let's let's get back into it so before the break I we ended with this quote and I'm going to say it again because it's worth repeating the position these people hold is evil but these people are not evil and I think that as we fight for. The preborn our babies in the womb we have to remember that because you're right that empathy and compassion is so important we never know what struggles people are going through and we should always come to the table with forgiveness in our hearts and recognizing that we don't understand everything that's going on in other people's lives so we talked about how in Australia you have abortion up until birth for certain qualifiers. Talk to me about what because abolition can have several different definitions here in the states some people call me. And then you're on that yeah what's your definition of that. So my personal this is my my personal belief abolition and I'm going to get so much hate for this and I really don't care I've said it out loud before.

I think serial killers need to be prosecuted I think that people who are conspiring and repeatedly committing a murder need to be prosecuted and in my opinion if a woman is going and getting multiple abortions if she is using that as birth control my Ashley Grogg's personal opinion is that she needs to be held accountable for those lives. Because when I think about a woman who has one abortion you know she's in a very difficult position I have a hard time reconciling treating her as a criminal. So I would hope that in prosecute a prosecutorial discretion maybe that sort of punishment because it is murder would be counseling and support and giving her the tools to handle things and I know that that's not going to be a popular opinion but that is my opinion.

So let me hear about what you. Well, well we believe. Yes, so we believe that just it's not about creating new law it's about in under I think every law that exists into the unborn so it would be you know everything would be just put bringing the unborn into the same category as law. I'm just going to say when you say abolition it just makes it sound like abolitionist I don't know if you obviously have that in America the abolitionist but we are definitely not abolitionists in the sense of that term because they would obviously condemn incremental law which would be you know not not voting for bills such as the say you were bringing in a bill that would would would solve a lot of giving and a giving. A baby's been born alive life's own treatment like an abolitionist would condemn that law so we are definitely pushing for incremental laws to do anything that we can to save any children that we can so that's sort of our mission is to do as much as we can to you know speak at fairly or help people bring bills to you know to save.

In any way any baby that we can get a lot of stuff that we do or what we're hoping to do is become like a really physical movement where we as tradesmen because we're so big and so global. Why is it going to be in the future is have you know like maybe we can become a building group where we fundraise money to to build a pregnancy help center and give that off to a pregnancy help center or like build houses for women in crisis all that sort of stuff like really do not this database of trade is that we have. And and put it to some actual physical work I think. I've heard that in your videos and that is again another reason why because you're you're looking at this problem. What I would say is a multi disciplinary approach as a nurse we have all the different specialties that come in to take care of a patient and and that's what treaties for babies is working towards and then.

I am more of a traditional abolitionist like I just want to end it and that's what I'm going to push for and I also know and recognize that. The analogy I often use is the fact that we're all pushing the same bus or trying to get the same bus out of a ditch some people are going to be shoving boards underneath tires some people are going to be pushing from the back somebody's maybe going to hook a truck on the front and pull it. We all have these different ways that we're working to get the bus out of the ditch they don't look the same but we're all working towards that same goal and so I think that that's important I can do you know things the way that I need to do to help this movement but yeah I know that there will be other people who are going to work for those incremental law changes and I think that that's the beauty of human nature because we all have different skill sets and offerings that we can bring to the world. Which again reflects back on treaties because you guys have all of these different skill sets and the fact that you're not only thinking about changing the laws and doing the things to protect women in that sense at women and babies and also want to drive a forward facing movement this is something that is severely lacking in a lot of the pro life and this is what we get a lot of flag for is that you know we want the baby to stay in the womb until it's born and live.

But then we do nothing afterwards and so the fact that this is something that you guys are actively looking at and planning for the future is wonderful I love that we have a few places here in the states that they're transitional homes for women who would otherwise maybe choose termination even young girls who are maybe in high school or college they go they get a room and they get education and child. And child care and they learn skills for like two years some of these places they house these young moms so that way they can have their babies and also not have to give up education and things like that and so I love the fact that you guys are moving towards that how can tradesmen across Australia because I'm not going to put you responsible for you know the global aspect but how how can. The trade is offer up their services and say hey I want you to contact me when when we get this portion up off the ground how can they reach out to you what's the best way.

Yeah well Simone actually has set up a newsletter us know nothing is later we are about to study newsletter but we've got a database at the moment where you can sign up to it and put your trade business and then it's not going to be made public in case you know some people want to do some bad stuff with the database. If people want some stuff done by a pro life tradesmen then they can contact us and then we can find out if there's any in the area and then we can sort of put those people in touch with those businesses so if you are a pro life trade sign up to our database and then we'll let people know they ran out of it. So you can do that. Is the database on the website or is it global as well it's let me see if someone is listening to money listening. Is the database on Instagram. It's on our link tree on the on the link yeah that's great link trees are awesome because then they can find all of the different things at once so we'll get just.

I'll message Simone after this and we'll get that link tree up and on both the show notes and then wherever we share these videos we'll make sure we plug that link tree and because that's such an important part you're you're giving men the option to stand up and giving them the voice you're giving men the option to become you know political and advocate in this way and then you also are giving them the means to help support the pro life movement. Through the work that they do with their hands and I think that that is phenomenal. It just shows the amount of time and attention that you and Simone have put into this organization. I absolutely love it. Yeah and like like you're saying the there's natural talents in a tradesman that fits the role so well like as a trade you're always living out sort of I guess the basic rates of masculinity and in that. In a natural way so like for you to then make to push I feel like it's easier to push a trade into into that role I don't know I don't want to downplay any of the other you know professions but but like as trade is we are dealing with you know day to day like sacrifice and like strength and discipline in in in certain areas.

So like to push them into a role of fighting against evil is I think it's you know that that's also why one of the reasons is why I think it's taken up is so many people but that's not a downplay you know any of the white fellow work as I'm sure you guys are just as just as much discipline and. It's different though because I grew up on a farm I think I shared with that with you beforehand and we still do a lot of farm work so I understand the difference the physical. And it's not the as a nurse my job when I worked in the hospital was extremely physically demanding but there is something different about blue collar versus white collar in the grit and the push and the grind. That comes with it so I understand that and I don't think any of our listeners would ever take offense to something like that if you've worked in the in the trades or in something similar you you get it you understand. So I want to go back and I want to talk a little bit about baby Samuel is that right he was the one that was left.

Yeah tell me about you know that did the whistle blower approach you guys was what happened. No the whistle blower approach Joe so Dr Joe Joanna how and she then she's both and then pretty much everyone shared it so then we yeah it just went completely viral. It was just awful it was like people were the nurse took a video or took a photo of them on the on the you know on the tissue and just showed the horrific nature of what's happening in hospitals that this can happen and then in I think it was that they weren't able to obviously do anything or look after them because the nurses are. Other stuff to attend to so this can be happening while there's best being you know delivered and then this baby is just left without you know nothing not knowing love at all.

Have you ever dealt with anything being a nurse with we were in the the tiny water door law. No no no keep me away from that section like that's not my thing. I for I want to go back for just a second and then I'll share a little bit about that because there no matter what aspect of nursing you always deal with morally distressing situations there's always something. Whether it's because you don't feel like you can provide the appropriate care institutional policies prevent that there's always these aspects or maybe even the patients belief system one of the things that was hard for me because I worked in advanced heart heart failure and so my patients were eventually going to die I mean their terminal. And so you would see family members push to prolong and extend in unnecessary torturous ways. That was always very hard because you see the suffering and so it's it's kind of the juxtaposition but it speaks to this.

The backwardness of our society in so many ways we're willing to push our families and put them through hell to keep them alive. But that's because there are adult family members. How is this different than I don't get it. I don't get it. So our listeners may not have heard about baby Samuel was what was he justationally can you give us a little bit of background on that. They're mind around it. Pretty sure he was someone what gestation with baby Samuel 16 weeks. 16 weeks. Yeah, it's very very tiny but it was you know, forms and left and I think you someone was the latest of our 90 minutes. Oh, we don't know but he was obviously just left there and you know not picked up or loved or any sense of that.

So that is what one of the things that we need to fight for obviously to fight for all abortion to be ended but for you know even something to be that gives that person love in the last minutes of of their life. Like even if that wasn't an abortion and it was a. A or sorry yeah so even if it wasn't an abortion and it was because morally I can run through that but like morally if it was a life threatening case of the mother and and that you need to be separated that would morally be okay but it wouldn't morally be okay to leave the child on the. You know on the table and not show them love like you would separate the baby from the mother and then still show that child the respect and compassion that they deserve so. That you know we just need to change the culture by that's why social media is so important is that we need to be teaching people about compassion because it's just you know nowhere so.

Social media yeah social media it's the bane of my existence in a lot of ways but then I see these beautiful things happening like treaties for babies that are changing the world one step at a time and I think that. Knowing that this nurse being a nurse and knowing that this nurse is in a situation where she has assisted in an abortion now are these nurses still responsible for. Deliveries and caring for moms and their babies after birth like the moms that want their babies is that. Yeah I imagine they all on the same yeah imagine it's all on the same word come to. The juxtaposition how for these nurses we have like this is a. We have testimony of nurses coming forward and. And actually saying that they witnessed this stuff as well of these babies being born alive and left to die so it's not you know made up in any way and.

And nurses have come forward and there was an inquiry where it's on on you to bond up with yours you to wake and see. Doctor Alicia broom who was the head. I think she spoke for the head of the tradition to something I can't remember and she said that it's you know that it's not an accident that they're born alive like this is a method of abortion that they. Sometimes will induce them knowing that they're going to be born alive and then left to die so it's not it's not like anyone is making it up in any sense. Because we put it directly from them that this is a method that they do. So yeah I don't question that in any way shape or form my concern a lot of people do. I don't I do not at all I do not at all and my concern is as the nurse and this is one of the difficult things is we're putting. So I think I'm not in these situations where. If I was if I was in this situation and I've thought about this and I've thought about this from the start of my career.

I would not I would refuse to care for those patients. And just for historical context my grandfather was an Auschwitz. He was on the burial squads and he was captive as a child by the Nazis. In the hospital I regularly cared for a patient with swastikas and Hitler tattoos all over his body. I cared for him and I took excellent care of him. I don't think I can I can see pass and I can see why he is but I don't think morally. Not because I couldn't love the mother but because I think morally it would rip my heart out that I couldn't provide care to that baby. And so I would not be able to work in that aspect. I don't think that I don't think this happens in our hospitals but I could see it happening in our abortion clinics here in the States and I speak very knowledgeably to that.

But my concern here is not just for those babies but for those nurses because clearly the ones that are coming forward value life. And this has to be eating them alive. This is why I left nursing. I do not work in alopathic Western medicine anymore because I felt that I was hurting my patients so much. And so God bless these nurses and you know I can't imagine being in that situation and I'm finishing a book on moral injury and nursing and I'll make sure it's available in Australia because I know you guys are suffering with it. I know your nurses are suffering with it and that has to increase turnover. They have to feel completely helpless. So many nurses come and say you know how often it is there's another page at the moment called PHPA and that's.

The head of that was or she is a head neonatologist is that who said that? And she runs the page so they make for life videos as well. So yeah the nurses are you know it's awful because in America like you said you guys just have buildings where the abortion takes place but because in Australia it happens in the hospitals like it's so much harder to fight. And you know like the funding is so different here because it's most of it is in a Medicare which is you know like a fluke. So it's yeah I feel like it's so much because like you guys can go and stand outside an abortion clinic and like we have maybe a few of you could do that too but most of it is happening on hospitals. So well and that's one thing that's been complicated in whenever I think it was 2021 2022 when Roe v Wade was overturned that you know gave the quote constitutional right to murder your baby.

When that was overturned we had a bill that came forward to severely and I'm using air quotes for my listeners severely limit abortion and what it did was it did shift a lot of abortions from inside clinics to inside hospitals. And so the even the accounting for the number of deaths is essentially disappearing because of the fact that it's taking it's taking place in the hospital and there are hip hippa laws or health you know information protection. And so we have seen that shift in the abortion clinics the freestanding abortion clinics have shifted from we have like planned parenthood here and the name is ridiculous because there's anyways I'm not going to go there. But it shifted from these abortion clinics to freestanding hospitals and so it changes the dynamic of what's happening and that's it's been really difficult to watch it's such a complex issue you have to come at it with compassion and love because like you said the position these people hold is evil but these people are not evil.

I love that quote from you I'm going to repeat that like all the time. But yeah I think that's I think it's a one from someone else. That's hilarious I don't care we're we're sharing it with our audience will we'll quote Trent too but it's it's a it's a good stance to have what what do you think that you want the world to know we have just a few minutes. What do you want the world to know what do you want the message of each the unborn human obviously and humans we have an infancy put as the human human living person. And we do not have the rights to fill a human being so the unborn are as much human as you are and we need to protect them as much as we can and it is up to us.

And in this movement especially it's up to men to fight for their right to life because no one is going to fight for them and it is up to us to be able to fight for them to be able to have this life that we. Take take the granted and if we can do something if you're going to go through your life and be worried about living or in if you're trying to find purpose then make abortion the the fight that you will have your life because there is men need purpose it's in us as men to have purpose to do something so. There's no greater injustice in the world at the moment than abortion so make this the fight of your life because I guarantee that you will be able to make a difference in genuinely changing the history of the world because if you can stand back in 80 years and actually see that you have saved life then there won't be anything greater than that so.

So send in videos if you're listening because we need to use these tools that you know that we've been gifted with like social media so yeah. That's beautiful alright listeners here's the deal you know me i'm always about the call to action i'm always going to give you something to do so I need you to go find tradeys for babies on any social media app I need you to go watch at least three of their videos and pick your favorite one. And share it with everybody you know this is one of the ways that we can help tradeys for babies but Sean before I let you go is is there a place that people can support you guys financially and and help fund your organization or is it just videos at this time. Yeah it's just videos at the moment I think yeah yeah we'll sell. Okay so Sean gives you the opportunity to speak up he gives you the love and encouragement that you need to be the man that you are and start with political activism and then also the directory on the link tree which we will have for you those are all really important things I'm going to be making sure that my husband listens to this episode and you know gets you guys a video real soon thank you so much for taking the time please give Simone hug for me and tell me.

Thank you for all the work that she does and keep up the great fight down there in Australia. Okay thanks so much.
