Trump Launches 'Economic D-Day' on Iran

Join Jim and Greg for the Tuesday 3 Martini Lunch as they examine President Trump’s “Economic D-Day” against Iran and companies doing business with the regime, Abdul El-Sayed comparing circumcision to transgender surgeries for children, Maryland Sen. Chris Van Hollen’s talk of a 2028 presidential campaign, and a razor-thin Republican U.S. Senate runoff in South Carolina.

First, they discuss President Trump’s Operation Economic Outcast, designed to severely squeeze Iran and impose harsh consequences on countries and corporations doing business with the Iranian regime. Jim and Greg are optimistic the strategy could work, but only if the U.S. cracks down on every Iranian ally.

Next, they shake their heads as Abdul El-Sayed defends transgender surgeries for children by comparing them to circumcision. They also examine El-Sayed’s attempt to distance himself from far-left influencer Hasan Piker.

Then, they laugh as Sen. Van Hollen says he's "kicking the tires" on a 2028 presidential bid. Jim and Greg see lots of parallels between Van Hollen and some of the many Democrats who never gained any traction in 2020.

Finally, they cite a rare poll of today's Republican U.S. Senate runoff in South Carolina showing the race between Rep. Ralph Norman and interim Sen. Darline Graham a dead heat.
