Trump returns to Correspondents Dinner, first time since 2011 roast

Donald Trump attended the White House Correspondents' Dinner on Saturday, April 25, 2026, marking his first time attending the event as President after boycotting it throughout his first term. 
His previous appearance at the annual press gala was in 2011 as a private citizen. That night became famous when former President Barack Obama and comedian Seth Meyers aggressively roasted him from the podium.
