About this episode
We are back from vacation! We had a crazy situation at our building yesterday where a show member walked up on a dead body. We hear the wild story and why they no longer feel comfortable coming to work. Bobby shared what it was like taking their first family vacation with a 5 month old baby. Amy talked about getting sick on her trip to Ecuador to visit her cousin. Bobby assigns Eddie a new task that he is going to hate. He has to do something everyday starting today. We played a round of Never Gonna Get It where the question is: According to a poll, 64% of us do this right after a vacation. What is it?

Our hometown is not a test tube. 90 miles northeast of Nashville, a battle for the future of America plays out in one small town. Developers with right wing ties have purchased hundreds of acres of land. We need cities on a shining hill. This is our town, a podcast about what happens when a small town becomes the site of a social experiment and fights back.
I guess you didn't move in on a bunch of dumb hillbillies now, did you? Listen to our town on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. Hey there, everybody. Amy Robock and TJ Holmes here from the Amy and TJ podcast. We are your one stop shop for the biggest news making headlines of the day. We've got you covered. Yeah, there's a lot of news happening these days and some of it's breaking. We are on top of it every single day. There's a bunch of true crime going on out there as well and so much of it dominating on social media. We have our eye on it all. Listen to the Amy and TJ podcast on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts or wherever you listen to podcasts. Something that we're going to get to maybe in a little bit because Scoobah Steve is not in the room right now. He walked up on a dead body yesterday and he's like, I just saw a dead body and I said, what do you mean? He goes, yeah, it's right by your parking spot in the building.
I said, what? Oh, you don't know if someone was killed here? No, Amy. Amy was being ruled. What? Yes, he just walked in. Okay. Ray, can you tell them we're talking about him? He's got a backpack on. Yeah, there was a murder shootout right here. I saw on the news a shooting in a parking garage downtown. I'm like, well, that's sad. Then I saw the address. I'm like, that's our address. Wait, what? It's time. It was yesterday morning. 9 a.m. It was right. It was at my parking spot. But that's so limited access. Yes. So they scuba did you see the body? Yeah, so I was here getting a head on stuff with some other shows and recording. And as I was like, I went towards the end of my recording session, I heard, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, right underneath me. And I was like, this is weird. That sounds like gunshots, but this is not an area where you would assume that would happen. And so I was like, maybe it's the AC unit. That you heard that many? Yeah, I was like, multiple. It was maybe like nine to ten shots. There was a shootout. Oh my god.
It was back and forth shootout. It was a back and forth shootout. And so I was like, oh my gosh, I was like, I think it's gun shots. And it's like, and if it is, I'm not going to leave right now because I don't want to go down stairs. And the guy sees me. He's like, what'd you see? And then I get shot. So I was like, let me just stay here for a little bit longer. So I shot shots and videos, recorded videos. It was fun. Yeah. And then I was like, I was like, okay, well, now I got to go. And I go downstairs. And I come downstairs out of the stairwell. And I see two girls crying. And then I see this caution tape right in front of my truck. And it says, police line do not cross. And so I'm thinking, are they shooting like national 911? Or is this a music video? Yeah, like a TV show. I would have thought the same thing. So immediately I'm disensitized to that. Having lived here in LA and other places. And I was like, well, let me just go across the caution tapes. So I go underneath the caution tape. I turn around the corner and within like two steps. I'm looking at a dead body for five seconds. And I see like 30, 40 cops with no pads and like, cameras and they're an assessing situation. And they're like, hey, what are you doing past the caution tape? And I was like, oh, I'm sorry. I didn't think of this was real.
Are you the end rhymes? Where's from the Nashville 911? Where is she? Yeah. And so then the officer pulls me over to the side. And then he starts questioning me. And he's like, hey, what are you doing here? And I was like, well, I work upstairs. And I was getting ahead for tomorrow. And he's like, are you the one up there? I'm like, I'm by myself. And he goes, you're by yourself. And I was like, yeah. And he was like, is anyone else up there? And I said, no, and he goes, let me see your ID. And then so he takes a picture of my ID and starts questioning me, like asking me where I was at certain times and what's going on. I'm like, am I getting questioned for the murder right now? And what if they would have had some of the victims in murder? So I was already thinking about like time stamps of recordings and things that like put me at not there to be ever here. It's Alibi. It's Alibi. I recorded it. Alibis, I'm a looking, I'm like, I'm like, my MP3s were saved at 845, 9. And I recorded a video at this time. So it wasn't me. And the guy was asking me a bunch of questions. And I was like, man, I gotta get out here. I have to go to like a kids birthday party and stuff. He's like, well, your truck is pretty much going to be parked here for the entire day. You're not going to be able to leave. And I was like, well, can I get my wife to pick me up? And he's like, yeah, you're free to like go, but you can't drive out of here because you can't go past the scene. So I called my wife.
She came pick me up and did the rest of my day and then throughout the whole day yesterday, I couldn't leave. My truck was stuck there until this morning. So it's all in my body. There was a shootout here. I mean, right beside it. It's where we get out of my car. And is that mean it was up right here at my? Well, so what, what, what, what do we know what happened? Let's ask you. So from what I saw, I looked like, I don't know if it was a resident or a homeless person because he didn't look, I mean, it's hard to tell because it was so early in the morning if he was wearing like, he's wearing basketball shorts and a t-shirt. So it could have been somebody coming down with a garage to meet somebody like a drug deal gone bad or a domestic violence type deal because then they were like, when I came back later to leave, they had like a crime scene guy out there like putting all the numbers down and they're talking about, yeah, I think the shot came from over here. Look at this blood spot over here and they're going through the whole thing. So I think it was a two person shootout because then I asked, I was like, should I be concerned for my staff to come in tomorrow? Is there like a shooter on the loose? And they said, well, we haven't caught the shooter. He's gone. He or she is gone. But you should be safe to come in to work tomorrow. And I was like, well, that doesn't seem really safe. You've even caught the shooter.
So then I'm wondering if it's like, if it was an officer involved shooting and they, someone stepped in to shoot or it was something. I can read you the news. It sounds like we don't know. Well, I know that's knowing. And we were recording 25 whistles our sports show yesterday. And right when we're starting, Eddie goes, something was shot in our parking garage. And I say, yeah, talk to Scooby, he saw the body. And so is this the most updated one? Yeah. Okay, this is from WSMV. According to police, two male suspects drove into the garage prior to, what is that word? Is that the person's name? Yeah. Arrival in his vehicle. Police said shots were exchanged between this person and the suspects. A handgun was recovered near his right hand and police said that person died. Police said six pounds of marijuana was recovered from his vehicle. During a search of the apartment linked to him, police said they recovered more than 200 pounds of marijuana. Yeah, yeah. Drug deal. Oh, this is a thing. Oh my. It's hot. We're just amongst this.
Amy, I think it's everywhere. Amy, it's everywhere you go. I know. But the scary part is like, even when we moved here, I was like, this kind of sucks. We live in a, we're working a building where it's also a residence. I've never worked in a place where it was like half. It's just been nice. It's the work. Yeah, and it's, there's multiple gates to get through certain places. That's what I, like, what they tailgated in is what the police are saying is that they, a car had to come in the gate and they followed them in. So like, what the, what the, because I'm always scared that things gonna fall on me. Car right down. Yeah, you're gonna find your car. Like, even if I'm following like, Bobby out of your lunch, like, if you're all ahead of me, I would be like, nope, I need to back up and wait because I would be too nervous. Like what else do you see? I've been told that they showed up. They knew that he had the marijuana and the two suspects. And you've been told by who? Don't, hey, I don't reveal a subject. I'm not, yeah, I'm not talking about it. They said that they waited for him to get home. They, they were waiting so he lived here. He lived here and when they say apartment, it was here. And this is, he lived up there and they said, hey, you're gonna give us all that up in your apartment
and that's when the shootout occurred. Well, why don't you just say, okay, like, if you have a gun, yeah, you know, you're up from the streets, you know, do that to me. I mean, when you're dealing with 200 pounds, all the weed out back there. So I don't understand 200 pounds. Like is there a monetary amount to that so I can have a better understanding of what we're dealing with? Well, with inflation and also the straighter who moves, or moves that's covered, things are different right now. I don't think those two things are related, but. Can you see what the street value of 200 pounds of weed would be? Which we know 160 and 600,000. I'm so glad I didn't go downstairs and check it out because I could have been shot by those people. We were trying to buy it. Yeah. No, they would have been gone. By the time you heard those shots, they were in their car and gone. And gone, yeah, that makes sense. Cause they, I mean, the weird part is when he died, I guess in that moment, my whole day it was off yesterday. It's almost like, because I looked at it position wise where he was laying and where I'm at in that studio, he's literally where his spirit would lift is right where I was sitting. Oh, no. Where his spirit would lift. So you think it came through the building and what he got in there?
I don't know, like, ever since he died, like I felt like a different person and I don't feel like I'm doing a joke. No, I'm serious. No, I'm 100% serious. Somebody died. No, that's why I'm asking Scubic. No. Because he does believe stuff like this. Well, I know. He felt like a ghost in his body in San Francisco. Yes, it's not the first time. No, I have felt completely different to the point where I don't want to be this building anymore. Like I feel we would be. Oh, could it be because you feel weird that all happened? Yeah, I don't know how to do that. I've heard it. Well, I feel, imagine how I feel coming to work today all happy to see you all for the first time, like walking through the parking garage, like it ain't no thing. We're not the victim here. But you're not, they're not the victim here. I know. But I know. But I'm saying I was freely, I had to get dropped off because I don't have a car. So I walked the entire parking garage just by myself. Like this is safe. This is normal. Well, you didn't have any cocaine or pockets or anything, right? You didn't get an elevator? That's just a normal day for you, Amy. No, I know. Also, why did you get in the elevator? It's like walking all the way around. That's interesting. Um. That's a great point. That's a great point.
Unless you just wanted the wall. Here's why. You know the thing we're supposed to have on our phone to access the building in a different way. I don't have that. So I have to only use that key fob and it only works on the staircases. Well, we're a day yesterday. Yeah. That is very weird. And it's still so bizarre. And I'm sorry you saw that, dude. That won't leave your mind ever. No, I was always fine. When Eddie was doing the news, he would see that. And he still talks about how traumatizing it was. Yes. I saw multiple dead bodies. And I can tell you exactly what they look like right now. That's so terrible. That's burning in my brain. It's all I see. So that was yesterday. And I thought Scoop-o-Woo was kidding when he told me that at first. And then I said, really? He goes, yeah, I walked up on it. Here's what happened. And then I didn't want the ghost to come to me. So I ignored him for a few hours. And then look at lunchbox with the inside information. Dang. So what? So the police go probably to that apartment. Now they've seized all the drugs. Yeah. Now my question is, do you know that if they went and seized the drugs?
I mean, yeah, I mean, according to the news, that's on the... Car BDM, seized the drugs. Also, once you see there's two and you're only one, I think that's when you're like, you know what, you guys got me. Unless you feel threatened. And I'm saying like, I just get, like that's when you're like, man, I don't think I can get shots off to get both of them. Unless you feel like you're going to get shot anyway. Yeah, I guess even if you give them the weed, they may... Are there any other drug dealers in this building? You know, you should go do a sweep. Does that mean you go door to door? Yeah, the... Now is a fair time to ask. Well, now they've made marijuana even more illegal in our state. This is going to continue to happen as you take it out of stores and on the streets. So this is the repercussions. Well, no, no, no. Well, it was never legal here. No, but they had a version of it though. It's too hot. Oh, no, no, no, no, no, I do. They had a version of it in July 1st. They cut off the HCA and they were... But that's not the same. But they're... I'm pro-legalization for many reasons and I've never even touched it, but it's not the same. But when you move in that direction, you've now taken a step back further and you're going to turn the streets versus the stores. Okay. I can understand fundamentally why that could be an argument in states where something was
there and then they removed it or even prohibition time. Like we could get into prohibition and how they shut down alcohol. This is not that. But they were there. They were there. There's THCA, dude. They had a version of it. I feel you. And they were moving towards the right direction and we went backwards in time. I... Even if it was legal, you could still have dealers that have a large amount in their house. There's less of them. If you look at places where they have it, it's in the stores versus on the streets. I... I'm not going to judge scuba for his feelings right now. A little distraught. Yes. So maybe thinking not the best. Even though it's... Or I feel he's wrong, but I do understand why you would say that. And that does happen on a bigger level for sure. What Eddie? No, no, no, no. Okay. Yes, that happened. Like, just stop. 25 feet from where we sit. That is crazy. It's crazy. Oh my gosh. Do we know how old he was? Does he have a family? Maybe. Oh, that's true. Scoop is tall. I think you were going to go 20. You say 20s? I think so. Oh, he didn't look like you didn't look good for 20s. Less rocks weren't. I'm so curious where you got all the risks. Running drugs can be stressful.
I think I... Okay. What? Running drugs can be stressful. Oh, well, scuba said he looked older than 20 and I'm like, well, maybe he was stressful. Oh, stressed out so he looked older. Yeah, like you age faster with stress. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Right, this has gone to an area of... I just... The segment. I didn't think we would go. Okay. Let's all catch our breath. Hey, buddy good? Good. We can talk about our vacations next. Do you guys want to do that? Sure. He was 26 to be exact. Okay. Let a rough life, though. Like I always say, it's stressful. Rough life, nice house. Yeah, it's a nice complex. He's living it. If you have that much weed, you can make more money. We're making more money. Yeah, yeah. Making a lot of money. But making a lot of money is stressful. It is. I can tell you. And it makes you look older. Hey. You know. The morning shows official YouTube channel. Go to YouTube, search BobbiBondShow and subscribe today. Hope everybody had a good, hopefully three day weekend. We had all new shows last week, but we were on vacation. One of the reasons that I don't share we're going on vacation is we're going to do all new shows. So really doesn't matter.
But two, and it's something that we've talked about a few times. I don't want people to know when we're not at home. I took come to rob our house. So sometimes people on the line will be like, why don't you say when you're going on vacation? I'd rather not get robbed. So it's as much a safety thing as it is anything. So that's why we never say, hey, but we work really hard to not do reruns. And we had all new podcasts. And we did a 90s country special for every year of the 90s that you guys can, but we went on vacation last week. And me, a wife, Billy, our baby, and Caitlin's parents. We all went to East Tennessee, the Smoky Mountains, run into cabin, and spent a few days there. The thing about vacation with the baby. Oh, yeah, that's your first vacation with a baby. Yeah. That's not really a vacation. Well, the baby has to wake up. Yeah, yeah. And it doesn't just get up and make breakfast and hang out. Hang it. So it was really the first vacation that was not restful.
We knew that going in, but we also learned a lot because the last vacation, we just stayed home because Billy was two months old. This one, she's five months now. And so, you know, she can drink a beer and stuff. So she's good. She's older. But we didn't do things like bring blackout curtains. So when we put her in a small room, when it gets light, she just wakes up. So we had a great time, and I'm telling you, not just because Billy was there, but when Caitlin's parents go anywhere with us, I love it. They're just the best. And I love having them around. So we did that. And I did a whole Q&A that will go up on today's BobbiBone Show podcast. And you'll hear it. And I do talk about that more, but our vacation was good. It was good. And I want to say that I came back rested, but I came back a little more cup full. Yeah. It's a good way to put it. Yeah. So we'll talk more about it in our part two podcast. If you guys want to hear that, just go BobbiBone Show podcast, hit subscribe. Amy, your vacation.
Fantastic. I went to Ecuador to visit my cousin. Ecuador, Texas. Ecuador. Oh, Ecuador, Tennessee. Yeah, I went to a clinker Ecuador. The country. The country. And who knew I was going to experience such elevation sickness, like altitude sickness. Is that in the mountains? Yeah, we were very, very high up, which I mean, my sister's place in Colorado were like 7,000 square feet, or 7,000 feet. Sometimes I get a little, but I was at over 9,000 and live in life. That's almost two miles. And sometimes we'd go up even higher for various things. What was your elevation sickness? Headaches. Nausea. I was restless. Like I woke up in the middle and I multiple times thinking I got food poisoning. And then my cousin was like, no, no, that's the you're adjusting to the altitude. My heart felt weird. Did you do any oxygen? Did you go find any? Did you do any IV or anything? No, I just powered through. Her husband ended up giving me some meds, but it was a little too late.
Like we were trying. Like a Delorean med? I don't know what they were. Exactly. Exactly. But what I should have done is I should have started taking something before I even left for the trip. And then I would have been probably better, but I was trying to play catch-up. So that was the only downfall, but other than that, it was so relaxing and amazing. Eddie? Well, it was cool. I went to New York because my son had turned 13 years old and every time they turned 13, I'd take my boys wherever they want to go. Like you pick it, you go. And so my son picked New York City. We went. It was great. And then somewhere in the middle of the trip, I was like, oh, my thing. My throat hurts so bad. I don't know what it is. It feels like razor blades in my throat. I come back, I go to the doctor, I got COVID. You got sick. Oh God, I had COVID the whole break. Oh no. It was terrible. I know. That sucks around. I texted him. I was like, what's up? How's the trip going? Because I would text him during the trip. Because I needed to check him without every hour or I don't feel myself. Right. And so he's updating me. The trip's awesome. And then he said, oh, I feel terrible.
I have COVID. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah, I knew something was up. We were at little Italy and I was eating my pasta and I was like, ooh, something's just not right in my throat. And then sure enough. But it's funny when you go to the doctor now and they're like, we have to break it to you. Like, they're still very sad about it. Like, you have COVID. No, it's okay. It's not 2020. We're good now. Did you get most of your New York trip in before COVID hit? Oh, yeah. It was the last day. Oh, that's good. It's the last day when it kicked in. I'm sorry, that happened to you. No, it's okay, I deserve that. I was going to do a staycation anyway. It just happened to be one where I was kind of laying low the most of the time. When I was 14 years old, I was kidnapped and health captive for nine months. I survived and I've spent my life exploring how other people survive what should have destroyed them. I'm Elizabeth Smart and these are the survivor files. I just remember this low taunting voice next to my ear saying, shut up. Don't say anything.
Every week, I'm with survivors who lived through the unthinkable. I knew if he woke up, without a doubt, he was going to hurt me. I started feeling that there was someone at the end of my bed and I just started screaming. They are abducted, stalked, controlled and nearly silenced. But these aren't stories about what's taken from them. Their story is about what it takes to make it out alive. It's when you're alone that you're most receptive to the world as it is and not the lies you're sold about it. But to the people who grew up here, it's everything. What happens when a quiet Tennessee town becomes the front line in a battle over the future of America? Developers with right wing ties have purchased hundreds of acres of land in the area. The first thing you see when it pops up is high nears and apple etchum. But they weren't just planning houses. We need cities on a shining hill that exemplify and embody the Christian way of life.
Stop right there. Is that normal? A podcast about what happens when a small town becomes the site of a social experiment. God need material! And decides to fight back. Do not use my hard work to sell your bulls**t. They're not just opposing what's being planned for here. Our hometown is not a test to. Listen to our town on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. The US Open is back. That's right. Two weeks of incredible, exciting tennis. Some outrageous overreactions from players and some hot takes from people who have, let's face it. No idea what they're talking about, but it's okay because I'm here for them and you. I'm Renee Stubbs and on the Renee Stubbs tennis podcast I'll be breaking down everything that happens after big matches, who's playing the best tennis, who looks like they could possibly win this tournament,
the surprise runs, the heartbreaking exits and all the drama that only the US Open can deliver. Coco, looking real good. Her surf looks so much smoother than it has in the past. I was really happy to see Eager back to what she looked like a couple of years ago when she was winning dominantly. Listen, I'm going to let Venus decide when she wants to retire. I'm going to let the tournaments decide when they don't want to give her a walk-out because she still puts bums in seats. She still sells and people love to see her play. You always say on this show that this is the best predictor of who will do well at the US Open. If this is a preview, then we are in for a treat. Listen to the Renee Stubbs tennis podcast on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. Lunchbox. We went to St. Louis. Tell them what happened. My wife was in charge of planning our trip and I don't want to call her an idiot. No, I don't want to. But we wanted somewhere where we could drive so it wouldn't take that long. So it's only about a four and a half hour drive.
And go see a major league baseball game. She's like, we can go see the Cardinals. They're in town because she's the planner. So we drove to St. Louis. The Cardinals were in California. So there was no game. No game. So she's like, if I like to the schedule, I just said St. Louis at where they were the angels. I'm playing the Dodgers and the Giants. That would have been good. And so she just saw St. Louis versus whatever. And she thought, oh, they're in St. Louis. So we went to St. Louis because the boys love baseball. And we thought, oh, we'll go to a major league baseball game. There was no game. So we walked outside the stadium and said, hey, guys, this is where they play. Major league baseball. And the other side of these walls, yeah, the other side of these walls, they play baseball, but they're not here. No, I'm sorry. But there was other stuff to do in St. Louis. So it was fine. What was the best part of it? There's this place called City Museum. It is a jungle gym for kids that is the coolest thing I have ever seen on this planet for kids.
Did your parents let you do something like that when you were a kid? Good question, Amy. I don't think my parents knew that existed. Okay. I hit up Dusty from the bowl in St. Louis and he told me, you gotta go to City Museum. Free tickets. Yeah, you know, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. You're gonna be holding me up, you know what I mean? And I walk in and everybody told me that this place is so crazy. It's so busy. You cannot take your eyes off your kids. You will lose them. It's four stories plus an outside and the roof of climbing on things and tunnels and caves and and we had the play store ourselves. We were only 50 people there because it was a school day. Oh, that's awesome. Yeah. And so we had the play and it was you go on the rooftop and you're climbing on school buses that are hanging over the edge of the building. Did you like it more than they did? I said so. Dude, it was so cool. And there's one place where there's tunnels and caves and there's just crevices and you crawl and you go in and out and you could spend three days there and not climb through everything that they have. Would you go back to St. Louis because that's there?
Yes. Yeah, that's cool. It is a must take your kids to play. So it was fine. There was no baseball game. It turned out okay. Good. Do you know if they're a client to the local St. Louis station? I don't know. They should be after that. It is the go, but you should send in that. It is the coolest place to take your kids. It is worth a trip just to St. Louis to go to the City Museum. I tell you, unbelievable. Title the file. Guy that hates everything. Love something. Hit him with the website lunchbox. You know the website. I don't know the website. I guess St. New Zealand. That's a fail. I would think City Museums and Museums know. It is also a museum. They have like old buildings like the front sub-hombs. Like, oh, this building was built in 1800 and they tore down in 1915. City Museum.org. That's easy. It was amazing. We'll go into a little more detail. I want to hear more about Amy's Ecuador trip for sure on the Bobby Bones Show podcast. Well, I have the fact that I've been made it in the country because it was dicey. Oh, yeah. You know what? Amy comes back and member of the cartel. What do you have on? She's a mule. Okay.
It's the anonymous inbox. And the anonymous inbox. There's a question to be had. Send it in to the mail. Hello, Bobby Bones. My wife says every vacation should include relaxing. I want every vacation packed with activities, because I feel like I'm wasting time otherwise. What side are you on? Signed book to every minute. Both can be true. Yeah. Taxing is doing fun stuff that is just fun. So I like to be active, I like to have a schedule, I like to know where I'm going, when I'm gonna be there, how long it's gonna be, I like to look forward to things, I like to check things off when completed. I like, but it's fun stuff. So it's the same way I live my life, but instead of work stuff, it's fun stuff. That's vacation to me. Being active, my wife opposite, she loves to just relax and read a book and sit on the beach. So for serious question, when you're on vacation, do you physically go to your notes app
and check off on things? Serious answer. Yeah, you know, our last vacation, I showed you my app. I know, but that was you creating more. I'm talking like, you were creating stuff because you stayed home, but if you were to go, if you're on one of your trips that you've gone on, do you, when you've got a day book, do you have them in your notes app and you physically check it off after you complete it? Depends, I'll put it in my calendar if it's something that I know we're going to do at a certain time. If I need to get certain things completed during the day or the trip, I put it in my notes app and you can do now the bullet points and hit the circle and it fills it. Yeah. I don't know if that's called, but does that make sense? Yes, yeah, I know we saw it. And you push the thumb and it goes, boom, completed. I do that, found my vacation for a week and I need to work out four times. I'll put workout four times and I'll do one, then two, then three, then I'll four, boom, completed. If it's like, read as much of a book, send, don't forget to send these emails to these people during vacation because I'm not going to do a ton of work, but yes, that's tough. Okay, I just didn't know because you just said,
I like to do fun things and cross them off the list and so I was picturing you being like, I thought, well mostly it's like signing up for things and then doing them. So I want something every day that I can do. And so I'll create a list before the list of things that I want to do and then once I get it scheduled, click, done. So I have a list of things that I'm going to do and want to do. So I don't forget to book them. It's a list for the list, for the calendar. Man, my calendar does not get open during vacation. Yeah, or my, or my list. I have none of that. Or my notes app. But that's interesting. Yeah. But I like it. I know you do. Yeah, that's fun. My relaxing is doing fun things on a schedule instead of not fun things on a schedule. My wife is no schedule laying on a beach, reading a book, whatever that is, pull. So would it feel better to use on your schedule? You put like, do nothing. Relax. Ooh, do that. Can you get to check it off?
Like, I do, I jump off the building. I put as one of the things on my thing, jump off the building. Lay around and do nothing. But then later. If I did, I would do this. Lay on the beach with Caitlin for one hour. And you said a timer. And I would do that just to make sure that I prioritize doing something that maybe I don't enjoy that she does. So that I go and do that. And I don't blow it off. I go, no, I'm going to go do this. I want to make sure that I do get enough of those in as well. And that's vacation. We vacation. Hey, differently. That's in more relaxing, right? Bobbidmoan show. Down here, Dory, up the day. This story comes to us from Pervard County, Florida. A man was busted going 117 miles an hour on the highway. Police pull him over and go, what's going on? Man, he's like, I really got to go to the bathroom. I'm just trying to get to the bathroom. And I, well, there was a lot of gas stations on that last exit. And he said, no, no, no, the buckies is a few miles ahead. I want to go to their bathroom. It's clean. That's the best one. There's a lot of clean bathrooms. Yeah. Also, you need to cough.
Like, hey, what's going on, man? What happened? You were going 117. What's going on? What's happening with you? You know, they came out maybe even guns drawn. Somebody go 117. OK. I'm lunchbox. That's your bonehead story of the day. Bobbidmoan. All right. According to this poll, 64% of people do this right after a vacation. OK. 64% of us do it right after a vacation. So think about that. 64% of us do this right after a vacation. What is it? All right. We're going to play never going to get it. Hit that. No, you're not going to get it. Oh, never, never going to get it. Not this time. No, you're not going to get it. No, you're never, never, never going to get it. Oh, yeah. All right. 64% of us do it right after a vacation. We have Nick on the phone right now in Ohio. Nick, what's up, man? Hey, how's it going? Going pretty good. Here's what we're going to do. We're going to give you. If you win this game here, we'll give you some prizes here from the studio. And we're also going to give you a gift card for 500 bucks to airtasker. Or we can get anything done if it's like mounting a TV, moving hell, whatever.
We'll talk about that. But $500 gift card to airtasker and also some crap from the back here at the studio. The question is, 64% of us do this right after a vacation. What is it? Nick, you get to answer first. And if you miss it, that's OK. But what do you have? 64% do it after a vacation as a week says. That's correct. Do laundry. Great guess. Did anybody have do laundry? I do. Who did? I did. Amy and Lensbach did. Did you guys feel good about that? I thought I'd have a really good. I heard then 64%. But it's all I had. It is not. It's not do laundry. But that is a great guess. So Nick, you're still on. You got two more chances here. So think about another answer. Amy and Lensbach, you can redo your answer. Got it. Eddie still have yours? I still have mine. 64% of us do this right after a vacation. So Abby, sorry, Abby's a new player. Abby. You got it? Yeah, I got it. OK. So Nick, you get to pick two players here. If I don't order them, get it right. You win. You can pick from Abby, who's new?
Amy, Lensbach's are Eddie. Let's go Amy and Lensbach. There you go, my man. Do you listen to the show, dude? I do think the last time I played it, I picked you and Lensbach. Oh, Nick's been on before. OK, OK, got it. OK, we just reach back in the bucket here. I'm mad. OK, all right, Nick, good luck, buddy. All right, here we go. Here we go. Eddie, pick Amy and Lensbach. Yeah. Everybody have. Go grocery shopping. Anybody else have that? Nope. No, but that's good. Eddie, what'd you have? Guys, I think I got it. Like, for the first time ever, I think I got it. You've never got it? I mean, maybe once or twice. But I put down, and why do you yell at Nick about picking? Yeah, exactly. Not necessarily. Really weird, because it's just my thing. You know, making feel bad for not picking me. Post on social media. You got to post the whole trip on social media. That's not it. Yes, it is. Got it. Got it. Got it. Amy with the hate, right there. Amy, what do you have? Get sick. What? You don't choose that. That's interesting. I always get sick on vacation, because my body finally allows time to go. We're like, oh, yeah. You talk about it.
So your answer is get sick. Lunchbox. It's post those picks. Hey. Post those picks. Post those picks. Post those picks. Post those picks. Post them. Got to post those picks. We got it. And guess who's right? Nobody. What? Okay, okay. We start over. You got one more round here. Not post those picks. All right, Nick. So you're going to have one more shot. And you can either pick if one of the group gets it, or if everybody misses it. So will someone get it at all? Any of the four? Or will everybody miss it? What do you think? Hmm. Um, I think everybody misses it. Oh, Nick, I think I got it. I think I got it. Man. All right. I don't know which one to go with, but. Oh, yeah, multiples. Yeah, I got multiple great answers. All right. Yeah, I have a couple. All right. Okay. What do you want me to say? I'll stupid as a game is.
Okay. Let's go first over to Amy. Amy, 64% of us do it right after vacation. What do you have? Get food to go. Okay. That's good. That's good. Unpack your bag like your suitcase. That's right when you get in. That's 100%. This is right after. I don't believe my life is three days. Don't be a hater. Yeah, I think I can be good. I guess. A bunch box. Yeah, take a day off of recovery. Take a day off. Eddie. Guys, guys, you go on vacation. And what did you just do? You blew a bunch of money. So you start saving money. Okay. What? You start saving money. That's what you do. Yeah. Yeah, he looked at Mike. Yeah, that was the right answer. He looked at Mike. It was like the dumbest answer ever. It was like, how ridiculous is that? So according to 64% of us, and Nick has selected that nobody gets it, want to be got it. Yeah. Let's go. So Nick, that sucks for you because you didn't win.
Bam. Darn. I know. Who got it? I mean, I mean, it's it Abby. I don't know. I feel like every one of you. Because the other 36% we don't unpack right away. The answer is, say my, call into work. Yeah. What? It's called sick. You said be sick. We couldn't give it to you. No. It had a double meaning. It could have been be sick because you could call sick if you are sick. And then he didn't even say call sick. He said call in. I, dang, because I almost said get sick. I know. People do that. Yeah. They call it a day for a child. That's crazy. Nick. Yeah. That's a lot, man. That's all right. I appreciate it. I'll tell you what, I give you a hell marry here. I'll ask you one straight up. And if you get it, you win the prize. It's a different one. Okay. Okay. All right. Here we go.
Just about all Americans have one of these. Only about 10% of people had one. That's just for you, Nick. A refrigerator. What do you think? A phone. No. It can't be technology. It's not technology. The house phone. I mean, it's like in 1920. Oh, six. Something. I'm not even sure. I was going to say a vote. A automobile. A middle name. Oh. Yeah. Middle name. All right, Nick. Apparently you played before. So better like next time. We'll get you on against a point. Is he going to have another next time? Why not? We didn't know we had a first time. We got up here. All right, Nick. No win for Nick. There we go. Thank you for playing. The body of our show. Eddie keeps saying over and over. He can't read. And he won't read. And so I bought him a book. And it's a very small book. It's called The Four Agreements. And you now have it in your bag. I have it. What we're going to do is we're going to give Eddie 15 minutes each day to go in my office and just read the book. That's too nice.
During his work. That's pretty nice. What are you talking about? I mean, this is hell. Good time off, man. Or work. Did you say this is hell? Yes. What? I would love a little 15 minute reading break at work. Like you guys must have like school too, huh? No. No, actually. Not particularly. I was pretty good at it. I didn't like it. It's just like 15 minutes. If you asked me, you can do anything you want 15 minutes. This is the last thing I would pick. But I'm cool. I'll read it, dude. I'll read it. So today, when we finish the show, because we stick around and we do a whole podcast that is only on the podcast feed, when we start doing that, you're going to take 15 minutes and you're going to go in my office. And you're just going to read for 15 minutes. And you're going to do it every day until you finish the book. Yes, sir. Oh, my gosh. Yes, sir. You guys are going to come back and then recap every, what do you read there? No. Thank goodness. Because like, what if I come back and I'm like, I read half a page, dude. I got distracted. You shouldn't be distracted because there's nothing in my office. Yeah, don't say your phone with your mind. I'm in. No, you're good point. No phone. Okay. And then you sit down on the couch in my office
and you just read for 15 minutes. And if you finish a page, you're like, I don't know that page. I need to read it again. Read it again. Okay. No nappy. Are there four chapters in this thing? There's four. There's just four agreements. There's four agreements. Okay. And that's the chapter. And the reason that I picked that book, I read that book about once every year. Maybe a little more than that. I love it. Really? Yes. And it teaches me a lot about myself, a lot of the values that I hold, and things I need to work on. And it's also really short. You know, I will say my wife was like, she saw it in my bag. And she's like, are you reading that? You already were feeling that you're cool. Oh, wow. And I said, yeah, I'm going to read it. She's like, what, like for fun? I was like, no, for work. And then she said, that's a really good book. I read that in college. So maybe we'll talk about it. And she's already going, oh, a book. She's probably like thinking you're hot. I know. I know. You can be that guy. Cool. So today, you're going to start 15 minutes a day until you finish a book. All right. And you think I can finish this and how long? It doesn't matter. That's not important. Right. Six months. If we're here in 2029,
and you don't have to finish that book, you'll still be taking 15 minutes. I just want you to prove to you that you can read. Okay. No, I can't read. No, you have so many excuses. I can't focus. I can't read. You talk more about what you can't do than what you can do. All right. So today, you're going to do that. Thank you for allowing me to do that. By the way, thank you. Amy, do you want 15 minutes of reading time? That would be great. She was like so jealous. That would be such a nice, relaxing break. It is, it's not weird. What you guys wind about, and then get, like, you get free time at work to read. Lunchbox got a free flight to Vegas. Right. But it's not doing this all along? It doesn't get anything. Don't come compare me with him. No, it is. No, it's not the same. You guys cry about stuff. I say, well, you can't do... Well, Lunchbox seems to think I wind about something. He can let us know what that is. Yeah, what does she wind about? Oh, she winds about everything. Oh, he has no answer. He has no answer. He has no answer. Okay, we're going to start today, okay? Okay. When I was 14 years old, I was kidnapped and health captive for nine months.
I survived, and I've spent my life exploring how other people survive what should have destroyed them. I'm Elizabeth Smart, and these are the survivor files. You just remember this low-taunting voice next to my ear saying, shut up, don't say anything. Every week, I'm with survivors who lived through the unthinkable. I knew if he woke up. Without a doubt, he was going to hurt me. I started feeling that there was someone at the end of my bed, and I just started screaming. They are abducted, stalked, controlled, and nearly silenced. But these aren't stories about what's taken from them. Their story is about what it takes to make it out alive. Listen to the survivor files with Elizabeth Smart on the iHeartRadio app Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. On the new podcast, Solita, we share the messy reality of traveling alone as a woman.
I can wait four hours for the next bus, or this random dude is offering me a ride on his motorcycle. I choose option B. I'm Julie Benieto, and I travel by myself because it's a rare space where I can say yes without asking anyone else first. I'm on a mission to reclaim the word Solita, trading the pity for possibility. Every time I tried to be alone, I kept meeting people, and they were like, you smiled at us, not a lot of people smile around here. It's when you're alone that you're most receptive to the world as it is, and not the lies you're sold about it. It can be a time where you push your limits, change your mind, or wake up to a new version of yourself. So whether you're a solo travel veteran, or you're too nervous to book your first trip, I hope you listen to Solita on the iHeartRadio app Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. But to the people who grew up here, it's everything.
What happens when a quiet Tennessee town becomes the front line in a battle over the future of America? Developers with right wing ties have purchased hundreds of acres of land in the area. The first thing you see when it pops up is high nears and apple etch. But they weren't just planning houses. We need cities on a shining hill that exemplify and embody the Christian way of life. Stop right there. Is that normal? A podcast about what happens when a small town becomes the site of a social experiment. God need men to rule! Great! And decides to fight back. Do not use my hard work to sell your bulls. They're not just opposing what's being planned for here. Our hometown is not a test too. They feel like they're standing in opposition to an entire administration. I guess you didn't move in on a bunch of dumb hillbillies now, did you? Listen to our town on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. Hey there everybody, Amy Robock and TJ Holmes here from the Amy and TJ podcast.
With mid to elections just around the corner, we're breaking down the biggest political stories leading up to November. And some of those big political stories aren't just what's happening on Capitol Hill. Yes, we just saw Lindsey Graham, the death of a long time Senator. Also, we've got a couple of missing members of Congress. Also, we got a lot of members of Congress behaving badly. We got accusations, allegations flying all day long on Capitol Hill. It's just like a reality show. We're going to cover everything you need to know during this heated political season. And it starts with our morning run. Yes, go for a run with us. Maybe you can take us along when you're on your actual run outside. Or if you don't feel like going out still, you get what we're saying. It's our morning run. It's our daily news rundown of the top stories that will get you going before you even finish that first cup of coffee. Listen to Amy and TJ on the iHeart radio app Apple Podcast or wherever you listen to your podcasts. All right, now time for the morning corny.
The morning corny. How did God cure Moses's headache? How did God cure Moses's headache? No, what do you say? No, can you tell us the joke right there? It's when you fill in the blank. He gave him two tablets. Oh, thank you. Funny. That's good. That was the morning corny. All right, voicemail. Lunchbox is talking about having no car. And I just wondered is the palette that he got from the prices right? The gym equipment is it still sitting on the patio? Thanks. Lunchbox one, a gym set, like weightlifting stuff from prices right. And it's been sitting on his front porch. Is it still there? Yeah, this breaking news guys. I was able to stand it up on its side and roll it into the house.
See if it's sold it yet. No, my wife hasn't listed it yet. But it is in the house and the door does kind of hit it every time you open it. Because it's so big. But I was able to finally summer salt it into the house. And so now there's like a hole in the box. But it is still unopened. Do you plan to sell it? I plan to sell it. But you're blaming it on your wife. Yes, because she is the social media director for like Facebook marketplace and all that. Like she knows how to do all that. What? The social media director. It is house like that. Yeah, of your house. She's social media director. God, yeah. All right, that makes sense. And how much do you want for it? $9.99 I believe because you said don't put $1,999 a little more attractive. But when I talk to the people, I'll be like, you know, if you're going to pay cash, just give me a thousand. Well, what's the suggested retail price? Like $1,400 I believe. That's a $500 discount. Wait, what? $500 discount. You said $1,400? Yeah, maybe it's, yeah, yeah, yeah, I am. That'd be a $400. $400. Yeah. One.
One. My boss. Did you ever get your computer from prices right? Computer. Is in my house. With the webcam? Open. With the webcam. No, it's sitting under the kitchen table. Under the kitchen table. Are you going to use any of this stuff? I don't know. I kind of want to put up the computer just so I have something that I got on the prices right. That's a $2,000 computer. Sell it. Who cares? Sell it. Take a picture of you from prices right. I put that on the wall. I didn't know it might be cool to keep. A computer? Keep the computer and you can have it forever. I got a question. It's technology. It's going to keep changing. It's going to evolve. Well, I have a question. Just put a picture of you up on prices right. I have a question. Yeah, the serious question. And you're going to call me stupid. Okay. Like, so I was on prices right, right? How do I get a professional photo of that? Like, how do you get it from the TV, like a professional photo? So I can hang it on my wall. You don't have any. They didn't send you like a drop box link of anything they took. Of you? I, they had videos. Okay. You could probably get in a video and take a high resolution.
But I don't know how high the resolution the videos are. Maybe I'll email them and say, Hey, do you have any pictures of me? There we go. Just say that only. Hey, I'm going to have any pictures of me. Just do what they say about. But I would want a picture of that. Yeah, I'd really want a picture of me and Drew. Did you guys stand together? Yeah, guys, when I was on the stage and I just... Did you take one together? No, no, I've barely had cameras going the whole time, right? Video camera. If the video they sent you is high resolution enough, Mike could grab one from it. Okay. But we could see. I'll check that drop box if it still works. What about your shoes you want? I haven't got Jimmy Chou yet. That's weird. That's been a while. Well, I figured they had to especially because Jimmy Chou is aren't just sitting around in a warehouse. They got to make them. They are. No, they're absolutely sitting around. Yeah, they're not making them especially for you. Dude, how long has it been? Oh, wow. No, March 31st. So March, April, May, June, July, August. September. September. Almost six months. Yeah. Damn. Man, we're coming up on the year anniversary.
Are you surprised they haven't called you back for a great stuff? Yes. When they aired the rerun, did you think you were going to get calls? I thought I was going to get something. And... Still sitting here. Do they ever rerun a thing at third time? Probably. I figure... Around Christmas time, they'll probably play me. Rear years again. Yeah. That could be your big break. Yeah, 100%. So, to the caller, he still has the gym equipment. Yes. It's not on his porch anymore. It's in his house. And let me tell you who is thankful for that. The mailman. He tells me, man, it's like a trippin' hazard over here. Man, you're trying to break my legs. Because we have the mailbox where it's up on the porch. And he has to go crawling across everything. He was really annoyed by that. Yeah. But we still have baseball bats, soccer balls, you know, all that on the front porch. Cool, cool, cool. Okay, leave us a voice mail at any time. 877-77-Body. Bobby Bones! Yeah. All right, a little giving Tuesday.
Okay. Okay, walking back. I went into my DMs. I just randomly picked people and then help them out if they need it. And then Lunchbox usually makes fun of me for giving them money. So Lunchbox, you tell me how you feel about this one. Hi. I listen to Giving Tuesday. I think it's great to help people who need. I'd love to ask for a little help for something really special to me. My husband serves in the army and is being awarded the I don't want to say because I don't want to kind of dox them at all. But there's a military ball coming up and it'd be so meaningful for us to go. I'd love to have a little makeup, little hair, and I'd love to feel extra confident for the evening. It would be something to make that possible. Thank you for even taking the time to read this. Okay. And so I've been mode her the money for that. For those who know. Why? Because she wanted to feel confident and get hair, make up, a little makeover. She can't go in the mirror and put makeup on. You're asking me. I'm just saying like most women have been putting makeup on for most of their life.
I'm pretty sure paying the extra $200 for makeup is more than that. Well, I mean, then the hair. Like I understand you want to get a haircut. Cool. But no, hair is not a haircut. All right, blow out. Whatever you call it. No, they have those. The blowouts. Okay. But the makeup, like you can literally do that in your mirror. Like I don't understand paying all that money. What differences it may. Amy, will you answer that one? I think this is a really special occasion. So she wants to take it up a notch and have a fun evening and feel really confident and spending a little extra on that, like a special night like this. Right. You know what she's close to a nicer. Yeah, and you know what she should have done. If she knew this ball was coming up, instead of going to Starbucks every morning, getting coffee, put that money in a kitty. You don't know she's doing Starbucks. Okay. I guarantee you she has something where she goes and gets something at a store or a restaurant. You can't guarantee that because you don't know if you can speculate. 90% of people do that. And then they complain, oh, I don't have any money.
Well, you go get that $12 sandwich every morning. That's probably why you could have put that in the kitty. You'd have money for the makeup and hair instead of begging Bobby. She didn't beg. She just kind of told me her story. And so another thing of if you can't afford it, then you don't need it. This is a need. This is not a need. It's a want. She wants this. It's not the bare necessities. Bare necessities. I'm okay with it. Am I supposed to do bare necessities? Yes, money. Yes. I didn't realize those were the rules. That's what it is. That's what frustrates me. Is she give the glitz and glamour? This is literally glitzing on that. I'm not going to get evicted. I broke my leg and I haven't had it in a month. Okay, I get it. Help him pay the rent. But like bring them a little extra joy in their life for a special occasion. You're just saying. Oh my gosh. Yes, I'm grateful for her husband. He serves, but she can still put on her makeup herself. So one to ten, ten being a ridiculous waste of money. Where do you rate this?
Six and a half. Oh well. Lower than I thought it would be. Usually he just goes nine or ten regardless of what it is. Maybe the military service helps. Yeah, I like it. He doesn't want to get beat up. Yeah. Beat up. Yeah. By who? Her husband. They don't lose his emotion. Erse promotion. He's called. Okay. So six and a half in the ridiculous scale. Yeah. Okay. And so. Oh my god. I guarantee you she has a friend in all of her friends that can do her makeup. Did you guys stop saying stuff like I guarantee you? I guarantee you. No, I guarantee you she has a friend that can do makeup. But you can't get every woman has a friend that can do their makeup. Every woman. Every woman. She can go to the cosmopolitan. What? Cosmetology. There we go. And they'll do it for free. Those are people learning. They have to do enough hours. Might not help our confidence in this in case. I guess what? Here's a cool part. It was free. So wash it off and try again. Okay. Thank you. Okay.
Anyway, that's giving to you. I'll do an eight. So now it's even more dangerous. Yeah, you've got to talk to yourself into cosmology school. Yes. Yeah. Okay. All right. Well, that's giving Tuesday for today. Have fun at the ball. Just trying to make- They should have fun at the ball. And every time her dude is staring at her face, she's going to be like, oh, Bobby did this. And he's going to think about Bobby instead of her. What? I didn't- She doesn't even have to tell him. Oh, he's going to be like, where did you get your makeup done? I went to this place. What? And oh, would you save up for that? No, I asked Bobby. And then that dude's going to be like, really? Bobby has to pay for my wife to get- Look nice. This thing has- It's spirally spiral. It's spirally spiral. Okay. It's okay. That's a giving Tuesday for today. Bobby won't tell me. Okay, so what we're going to do is basically take a 15-minute break or so. Do you know where I'm going with this? No. I do. You do. Oh, yeah, yeah, I guess is Eddie going to go read?
Get my reading glasses. Yeah. Yeah, okay, got it. So, Eddie, you'll go to office. Yeah, and I'm going to read- You're going to read- Have my book for 15 minutes. I mean- Dude, it's not miserable. Yeah, why are you treating it? No, because it's hard for me, guys. Like reading is hard for me, so- Okay, a lot of things are hard for a lot of people. And if you keep saying that, it's going to remain hard for you. Thank you, Bobby. Like the more you keep saying that- And you read the verse, Eddie. Eddie, you're correct. I said that and thank you for backing me up. Eddie goes, yep, correct. He fought me and then he said it. I was right. Yeah, no. I was about to say exactly what Bobby said. It's just hard, guys. Like, you all don't understand the muscle- No, I do. The energy it takes for me to read. That's anybody. Takes energy. Takes energy. It does. And I think a lot of people have to give different energy for a lot of things. Even running, working out. Sure. Like, I hate running. For me, I would complain about that. And then I'd go, man, but lunch box is good at it. But you know what? If I really wanted to do it and get better at it, I would go, yep, it's hard, but I'm going to do it. But when you're putting your running shoes on, you're like, oh gosh, I got to go read.
Yeah, but then I still do it. But you're not working. You're getting 15 minutes to go read. That's true. Right. For my intelligence, my education. So the book is The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz. And I picked him because I thought you would really relate to where he comes from. I'm interested. I have no idea. You're just saying that. I just said that. I know you could do because it's a short book. But if I say Eddie, his name is Ruiz, you guys would relate. It may give him a reason. Yeah, yeah. Oh, for sure. Now, I'm in. I want to hear what Mr. Ruiz is. Even in full of wisdom. Like so many people have that as like top three book of their life. I know my wife even said, like, oh, that's a good book. You're going to like that. What does Toleko mean? I would imagine either you're not saying it right or I don't know what it is or maybe both. Maybe you're reading it right now. I'm reading it wrong. Toltec. It says The Four Agreements, A Toltec Wisdom Book. Probably it's probably a either a region or a part of philosophy. Spiritual teachings and philosophies of the ancient Toltec civilization in Mexico.
Hey, there you go. Did you know this was Mexican? Well, he just said. No, he's a Latino. I mean, I knew it was written by someone of Latin. But no, no. No, no. That's cool. No, I don't. I didn't. These are from your people, Eddie. Yeah, I'm interested now. I love it. So go take 15 minutes. Okay. How far do you think I'm going to get? It doesn't matter. Don't do that. Don't do that. Do I have to read the introduction? Or can I go straight to chapter one? I'll make the introduction. Don't make this harder than it is. You have to get through nothing. I know. So no, you leave here. Introduction, the smokey mirror. Okay. Okay, give us a little bit. All right. Three thousand years ago, there was a human, just like you and me, who lived near a city surrounded by mountains. We're not four. You have to show us the page and talk to us like a kid. Yes. Show you guys a little bit. The human was studying to become a medicine man to learn the knowledge of his ancestors. But he didn't completely agree with everything he was learning. In his heart, he felt there must be something more. You're a good reader.
You're a good, hey, you're a pretty good outward reader. You know what's gotten me better? It's gotten me better. It's gotten me better at that. Is reading the, for that podcast, that drop podcast drama. Just act like that's a podcast. Heck, read it out loud if it helps you. That might help me. Okay, good on office. Okay. And I'll put you on the top. For those that are listening to this, you're not going to hear the break because we're going to go up. No, we don't need cameras. Okay. Because I'm just going to shut everything down to let you read. All right. Sounds good. All right. Now go. I'm going. We got to put your headphones down. You think we're kidding? And turn the light on. And no phone. He loved it. Okay. And said, we'll come get you. You read till we come get you. Fifteen minutes. Well, you read till we come get you. Don't wait 30 minutes or an hour. Oh my God. It's going to feel like 30 minutes to him though. Okay. So we're going to start our experiment until Eddie reads the book. Okay. All right. That's it. Did lunchbox buy more salsa from you recently?
He did. How many jars? Two. He'd like to review them. Oh my gosh. What? See, see, this is why when he asked, he texted me, said, hey, can I order two jars of salsa? I thought about not doing it because I don't want him to get on here and just trash it because lunchbox is going to trash it. You know what I mean? If he doesn't like it, great. You don't like it. But I feel like he's doing this for show. So his thing is to trash things. Yes. No, it's not. It's about consistency. I told you when I reviewed the first three, the first jar was amazing. The second jar was so freaking hot I couldn't eat it. The third jar tasted like nothing but tomatoes. So you said you'd got your consistency a little bit better. So I was like, let me taste it. What if I get two jars from the same bat? Do those even taste the same? Here we go. Okay. Now time for lunchboxes. The first jar. I pop it open. Fantastic. Wow. Back to the original. That's great. So freaking good. That's the same one. And I am like, wow, this is really good. He was right.
He has figured it out. Solsa is amazing. Jar number two. I pop it open. It's too hot. And I eat it. Oh my god, my mouth is on fire. And I told you. No, this is what happened. Afterwards, he tells me he goes, oh, if it has an H on it, it means hot. He didn't communicate that. He just told me, hey, the jars are in the fridge. Grab him out of the break room. So I did. He didn't mention that, hey, I made two different kinds. So I was like, all right, cool. Wow. No. On fire. It's not what happened. I said, don't leave without getting your Solsa. He said, don't worry. Already got him. No. Because I knew there were two different kinds. Never said anything about it. But if there are two different kinds, then there, it wasn't inconsistent. You just had two different kinds. No, but he needs to communicate to his customers. He told me just grab it out of the fridge. That's all he said. I never said grab it out of the fridge. I'll show you my text. You said, don't leave it without your Solsa. Okay. You just kiss. No.
No, I'm not. No, I'm not. On Solsa jars at the store, they have a hot meter. And Eddie needs to start adding that to his jar. He put it in. I put it in danger. He signs his name. No idea. Amy, Amy, you guys are missing the point. I hadn't given him a Solsa yet. I said, don't leave without getting your Solsa. Which means I'm going to give you your Solsa at some point today. Don't leave. So when he said, don't worry. I already got it. Can't you say no, no, no. I did. But I said, no, you took a hot one. No, you didn't call me till later that afternoon after I'd already tried it. What's your review? Way too hot. Got it. You got to communicate with your listeners or your customers, whatever you want to call them. Because I went in there. I could have been allergic to spice. I could have been to the hospital like I was in the spice. It was so freaking hot. So the first jar amazing. That's the jar. The second jar. The second jar. The second jar. The second jar. The second jar. I didn't mean on mine. Bobby. Oh, I didn't mean a little bit. No.
So I'm saying that we have all these letters that you don't know. Because I don't like he, some of the little little bits. No, yours is just beef or Bobby. So then he needs to order two more of the same and review this. I don't know. I already gave him one that's normal. I gave you a normal one. Yeah, review that one. That one was fantastic. Okay, so Eddie Solsa's officially fantastic. That one. Thank you. The second one. Oh my gosh. It'll light your mouth on fire. I didn't know that you were doing different kinds. If it's special request, if somebody says, hey, I'd like mine really hot. I didn't want to. I got it. But did he tell you to grab yours? Yeah, no, I didn't. Okay. That's it for today. Thank you. I'm not making that with him. Why did you bring that back up? We had already moved on. Did you want me to revisit it? I was like, oh, can we spin the wheel? No way. The Bob and Bone Show.
