Two more IRGC officials killed, Iran strikes Gulf oil facilities

The Iran conflict is overshadowing celebrations of Eid and the Persian New Year gnawers across

the Middle East.

Iranian state media is reporting that high-profile military figures have been killed in U.S. and

Israeli attacks.

The intelligence chief for Iran's basaged paramilitary, Ismail Ahmadiy, was among those

confirmed dead.

His funeral was held earlier on Friday, and the spokesman for the Revolutionary Guard

Corps, Al-Makhallid Naini, was also killed in one of the recent attacks.

The IRGC said it would not allow morale to be weakened by his death.

And in Lebanon, Israeli air raids have killed more than a thousand people, nearly a third

of the population has been forcibly displaced.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says the war on Iran will require a ground component.

The war has largely been fought with air strikes, but at a media briefing on Thursday Netanyahu

said that wasn't enough.

You can't win, you can't do revolutions from the air.

That is true.

You can't do it only from the air.

You can do a lot of things from the air, and we're doing.

But there has to be a ground component as well.

There are many possibilities for this ground component, and I take the liberty of not sharing

with you all those possibilities.

A rocket strike has injured two people in the northern Israeli city of Kirghit Shmona.

Hisbola has been carrying out cross-border attacks since early March, and responds to

the U.S. and Israeli offensive against Iran.

Hisbola is an Iranian ally, at the same time Israel has expanded its air raid campaign

to new parts of Beirut, strikes have hit apartments and raised buildings.
