UK Column News — 4th September 2026

0:00Good afternoon, it's Friday, the 4th of September, 2026, just after 1 o'clock. Welcome to UK Column News. I'm your host Mike Robinson. Joining me by video link today is Basil Valentine. A letter in the program will have more on live official recognition. We'll also be taking a look at Israel's threats to the UK and the reaction of the Tory Blair Institute to allegations. Blair was working to have the word Palestine dropped from school textbooks in Palestine. But we'll begin today with the sting on the reform party. Because of course yesterday evening, as everybody will know by night channel 4 news broadcast hidden camera footage of Nigel Farage and his closest ears discussing foreign money donations to the reform party. Let's just have a look at a very short clip. What you're about to watch is a plot to break the law on party funding at the highest levels of reform UK. It would technically be an international income.

1:01It's able to find out. I'm not going to tell you about honestly even a little bit. Does it work? So, we can use it in a moment. And this time projects are so bad either thing. And they take it right to the top. For the fact of relatively modest investment. 30,000 pounds. Yeah, amazing. Right. So the rest of that report is on the channel 4 news. YouTube channel if anybody's actually interested in watching it. But the operation was run via two embedded characters, one called William Lockwood, who was supposed to be a UK resident. And he was supposed to be the Anglo-American son of a wealthy financier. And the other party was his supposed father Ian, who was running the family business in Wyoming. William was played by this guy, Lewis Wilson, formerly head of fossil fuel investigations at global witness. Ian was the father was played by a Broadway actor. The operation set up and controlled the US company to make payments in the father's name.

2:07So contact began in September 2025 at the National Conservatism Conference in Washington, DC where Wilson met James Orr, reforms head of policy and Cambridge academic. James Orr agreed to help direct the family's money towards British right-wing causes apparently. The family money was not to be given as a street donation, but as payment for polling that reform had already commissioned in January 2026. Over gin and tonics at Marx Club in Mayfair, James Orr proposed Lockwood's company, settled an 18,000-point-in voice from the polling company. J.L. Partners, the results ran on the front page of the Daily Telegraph, and were labeled as an opinion poll for the Daily Telegraph. The reforms role was not disclosed on that report, nor was the funder. And Orr's had promised that Nigel doesn't know and Nigel won't know. I had two more payments followed, one in April this year at Rines Hotel for IHS De facto

3:12Chief of Staff. We just bring this back on screen, I'll bring Dan Jukes on screen. He secured four and a half thousand points for another opinion poll this time supporting reforms local elections slogan and calling the arrangements an amazing sweet spot because they don't show up anywhere in public records. And then in June this year 10,000 points was paid for an opinion poll of union members and that made the front page of the times. So that's a total of 32,500 pounds in five months. And that was all wired from the US company to the Olin companies. By both of For IHS Id's asked for larger a larger formal donation. Jukes suggested that the father's money could be rooted through the Sun, and he claimed that other reform donors were using that same method. Or told William, who was now considered to be a permissible donor by reform. And

4:15sorry, he told William that he was and I considered a permissible donor by reform. And so a figure of 500,000 pounds was discussed. Or dismissed the electoral commission as completely useless and said that we can easily get away with it. So then on the 20th of July, over oysters at a restaurant near Clackton, For IHS met both the Lockwoods and Inverticolness. He told the American, he was told that the American had paid for the opinion polls. And despite the fact that we'd already been told that he wasn't told about those opinion polls, he didn't query that information. So perhaps he did know. And then when William outlined the next phase for I said it was all above board. So those are the basic facts, but I'm more interested in the people behind this thing because the undercover work was not channel fours. It was carried out by this company verbatim. Now this is a so-called investigative nonprofit, which is only existed for eight weeks.

5:18Channel four news claims to have verified the work that they did afterwards. For better discusses having journalists, but only two are identified on the website. One is Lawrence Carter. He's the sole director. And he was seven years on earth, which was Greenpeace UK's investigative unit. As a senior reporter and a special projects editor, and then he co-funded the Center for Climate Reporting in 2021. And we're going to come back to that organization in a second, but they're registered address CCRs registered address company size is the same as verbatim. So Carter has a history of running exactly this type of sting. He posed as a head hunter to lure two former exon lobbyists in their zoom meetings. And he recorded those meetings in 2021. That was known as the Keith McEyes and that triggered US congressional enquiries. And he's also one of the two reporters who posed as relatives of a fictitious conservative donor to record a void, a vote, sorry, who is a colleague of

6:23Trump's on project 2025. That happened in 2024. And they used fake websites, a fake LinkedIn profile, and cameras hidden in a hotel suite. Lawrence Carter, by the way, does not allow his photograph to appear online. It seems, but if you just bring that back on screen for a second, we just have a look at the abut verbatim section here because they say this is a non-not for profit investigative project. As I say, it's only existed for a few weeks. Now, the other named representative of verbatim is the guy that we mentioned earlier, Lewis Wilson, who played William Lockwood in the reform sting. He was formerly head of fossil fuel investigations at global witness, where his last story was an undercover investigation published with BBC revealing COP29 officials facilitating fossil fuel deals for a fake investor. So this is the same kind of operation that was again run on

7:27reform this time. His own site describes his work as investigations and strategic communications. And that's interesting because, of course, strategic communications is advocacy work. It's not journalism, but anyway, what about verbatim's funding? Because, of course, this is a very big question here. And I verbatim states only that it does not accept funding from political parties, governments or corporations, and depends entirely on grants from philanthropic organizations and public donations. It doesn't name any of the philanthropic organizations. It's done it donations and run through a striped link. And, of course, well, I should say that this organization is set up as a company limited by guarantee and not by shares. So, of course, say then only file abbreviated a kind, so even though they're not due until next year, it's not going to give us very much information anyway. Well, what about the funding of the apparent

8:28parent organization, the Center for Climate Reporting? Well, their website carries largely the same funding wording as the verbatim website. And they don't name any past funding sources. But other websites do show past funding sources. And that information came from the CCR website. So I thought maybe the way back machine has an answer. But in fact, it doesn't because they are blocking the way back machine from recording any of the changes that happen on their website over time. So we have to go to organizations like this one, Influence Watch. And this Influence Watch amongst others notes that CCR disclose funders as of the end of 2025 are organizations like the European Climate Foundation, the KR Foundation, the Melior Foundation and the Swiss Philanthropy Foundation, the KR Foundation's 2023 accounts. Recorder grant to CCR of 693,552 Danish Krona for investigating the enablers of climate obstruction as they describe it. But CCR is also

9:35cited support from the Energy Transition Fund, which is a project of the Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors. And the ECF itself is a regranting body funded by Bloomberg Philanthropy's CIFF, Oak Ikea, the Rockefeller Brothers Fund and others. So the question is what's the upshot of this? Well, Dan Jukes and Jim's or have stepped down from the rules of reform and reform claims that those two will never be back. A co-founder of JL Partners, the opinion polling company that published the underclared poll in the telegraph, concedes that Lewis Wilson had concealed, that concealing the client breach, breach the polling rules from the British polling council. But the diss was just a little bit in formal rule-bending. And of course reform themselves deny any wrongdoing, saying no money changed hands, even though 32,500 pines did change hands to the polling companies. So that's splitting hairs because reform directly benefited from it. Reform is called

10:38verbatim form funded climate change activists and that's probably fairly accurate. But I would say there's much more digging to do here. Undoubtedly, this is going to reinforce the notion that reform is somehow an anti-establishment party in the minds of supporters under constant attack by the establishment. But as I'll welcome to the program, I mean, I think this is a fascinating story, not just because of the reform situation, but also the organization that's been running this staying operation. What are your thoughts briefly? Well, you know what they say, Mike, there's no such thing as bad publicity. It's all good publicity. If you can spin it the right way and down this reform, we'll be looking to spin it as indicative that there being targeted by left-wing establishment, if these people are linked in some way to climate change activism, on the other hand, of course, superficially, it's not a good look at all and feeds into the narrative that Farage is out for what he can get. And he's indeed anything but a man of the people, but rather

11:45a money-grabbing fellow who will take every opportunity possible to line the pockets of the party which I believe he still has substantial financial interest in, Mike. Well, that's up to you, right? Because this set up as a limited company and it up itself. And anyway, we'll talk more about this in extra of no died. But Basil, let's move on then to live facial recognition. Yes, thanks, Mike. It seems the rollout of live facial recognition software by police forces all over the country is absolutely unstoppable. First of all, we go to Blackpool, the illuminations, as you can see from the picture there. I didn't realise the illuminations these days, includes a huge festival-size stage. And for the first time, Lancashire Police are planning on using facial recognition at the famous Blackpool Illuminations, which go out in a few days time away or extending the holiday season up there on the Filed Coast. Next, we go to Suffolk and Ipswich,

12:52where two people were arrested as a result of facial recognition being rolled out in the town center there. 27,500 faces were scanned, leading to just the two arrests according to Suffolk and Stabinary, reported there by the Ipswich Star. A few miles further north up in Bereson Edmonds, and the police had less success, no arrests at all made following facial recognition exercise in Bereson Edmonds City Centre. Is that because the good folk of Bereson Edmonds are better behaved or perhaps the police were less adept at using their new toy? Who knows? And of course, Notting Hill Carnival couldn't possibly escape the action. 121 arrests there came as a result of facial recognition, almost a fifth of the 636 arrests. I didn't realise that they actually had

14:00a special unit set up at the Notting Hill Carnival for victims of sexual assault. They were anticipating there would be enough victims of sexual assault for there to be a special treatment area required, which I must admit I found really rather depressing, but that's this week's facial recognition. Where is it going to be next? Well, that's a very good question. We mentioned on Wednesday's programme that Bournemouth was there. And so this is just being ruled out and over face now. At the moment, Basel, as you point out here, it's not having much success, but of course in the meantime, it's normalising the idea that the cameras will be there and watching the whole time. Yes, I mean, of course, the claim is, if you haven't committed an offense, then you have absolutely nothing to fear. But is it the kind of society we want to live in, one where our faces are scanned every time we go to a town centre, every time we hit the street? I mean,

15:03this is the thin end of the wedge at the moment. It might be police vans, but how long before there were cameras on every street corner? Absolutely. And as we know, they're beginning to make those fixed in Oxford Street. So clearly, the intention is to fix these on poles right across the country. At some point, now let's move on to another topic, which I suppose in some senses, related Basel, and that is terrorism and terrorism charges. Yes, well, I'm hoping to be joined by Tony Greenstein at this point, who of course, two weeks ago to the day, was acquitted by a jury after a heartfelt personal speech at the end of his trial. And of course, also at the moment, four of the Filton Palestine activists are appealing their, the appendage of a terrorism connection to their criminal damage sentences. However, Tony does not appear to be on the line at the moment, but I'm

16:04delighted to say somebody else is who we would do to be joined by later in the program. So we'll have a quick switcheroo here in the running order. And that is Hussein Hoss Sheffay. Actually, Hoss, welcome to the program. Every bit as relevant to you for that matter, the, shall we say, raising of the phantom threat of terrorism, you're planning on standing for the Workers' Party of Great Britain in the upcoming St. Pancras and Hope and Biolection caused by the resignation of an as an MP of Keir Starmer. And you will be traveling to the UK from Tehran, given the new state threat bill that was rushed through Parliament a few weeks ago. How are we allowed to talk to each other? Are you expecting smooth passage back into the UK so that you can run for Parliament? No, not at all. You can't talk to me because I don't work with the IRGC. I've never had anything to

17:10do with the IRGC. But the problem is that I have been targeted by the Jewish Chronicle. And apparently, because I'm willing to stand up for Iran, I'm willing to, you know, not just quietly go into the night and let Israel and America bomb the living bailouts out of Iran as well as Gaza and Lebanon. Because I've stood up and called out Israel, the Jewish Chronicle, the oldest Jewish newspaper, or call it what you will, has decided to target me. That's one issue that I've got. The other issue is that I am actually also on section 121A charges myself for Palestine action because I was actually the first person in the whole country at two minutes, fast 12 o'clock on the 4th of July, the evening of the 4th of July to declare my support for Palestine action because at the end of the day, it's the only moral position to take after watching every demonstration and every petition and

18:10everything else get completely ignored by government. It leaves no option, but direct action to try and affect and impact the kind of damage that the drones that were being made in Britain were having on the conflict and the genocide in Gaza. So I supported them, so I'm a wanted man by them. And I'm actually my solicitor is coming out to see me in the next week or so and then I'm going to take a decision on a view on it because at the moment, I think what I'm assuming you do know what they did to George Galloway, they've shut down his bank accounts. Like this is a seven times parliamentary representative of I don't know four or five different constituents. And it's just unbelievable that they can shut down someone's bank account whose pension is going into it and his parliamentary pension is going into that bank account. What's George going to do now? It's England and Britain is becoming an absolutely horrible state of

19:20it just feels like we're going backwards. We're not going into a liberal democracy. We're going backwards into a more autocratic sort of you can't open your mouth, you can't have your view. If you say anything, you're going to get arrested. If you don't get arrested, they'll de-bank you. It's disgusting what they've done to a 72 year old man with a heart condition. It's not bad enough that they arrested him at Gatwick. They've also now closed down his all of his bank accounts, not one bank account, all of his bank accounts and much like Steve Sweeney, he's had a check sent to and a his address, which he can't cash because those checks are only can only be put into a bank account in England, you know, or Scotland. I'm sorry I was fighting too much, my apologies. No, not at all, it's why you're here. Is it possible for George to return to the UK? I mean, it seems not very long ago he was triumphant, of course at the

20:21Rochester by-election and the win was really in the sales of the Workers' Party of GB, but that prompted that extraordinary outburst from Rishi Sunak taking the lectern into Downing Street and condemning the will of the people as expressed through the ballot box in Rochester. I fear that was an indication from the UK National Security State that they weren't going to tolerate dissent of the kind George offers. Absolutely, and the thing is, if the thing is this, when you were back to the time that he only spent about 100 days in Parliament between the 28th of February and the 4th of, or not even 4th of July, as Parliament ended before then, every time George stood up to ask a question, the normal number of views that George's questions got was off the charts, whether he was grilling the Prime Minister or whether he was grilling a sitting minister, and to have someone who's got the archery skills that George has got, and

21:27able basically to pin cushion the government and make them feel ashamed of what they're doing, then that's a dangerous person, and that's why on the 4th of July 2024, they made sure that George didn't win his seat. George had his seat stolen off him. I've got the evidence, I've sent it to the police in Greater Manchester, and the Greater Manchester Police decided not to act on the evidence that we gave them, and we gave them videos of two people walking in at 1228 with two boxes. What was in those boxes we don't know, but they were taken straight into the counting area, without anyone signing on what those boxes were, who were they came from, and we don't know what was in there, and basically I had George's numbers, 122 rolls of 100 each, for him and for Paul War at 12202. When we came back to the final count, George's numbers were under 12,000,

22:31and Paul War was over 13,000. So that means somewhere along the line between 1202, which is when I had my staff counting how many rolls of paper there were, because every time there's a roll of vote, vote, when it goes into a hundred, it gets put into a elastic band and put on a table, this is George's table, this is on this table for George for Paul War, we had 122 each. How is it that they suddenly had a thousand something extra on top? And bizarrely, someone's walking in looking like that, looking to the left, looking to the right with two boxes that no one saw come in, other than our guys captured them on camera, and we handed that to them and great managers to police. The same police force that ignored to do anything about Siral Smith, not a corrupt police at all. 23:40Mike. Tony is there, if you would like to just discuss this with him as well. Yeah, I was going to go to Patrick and Johnny Markovic, but okay, Tony, welcome to the programme, Tony Greenstein. Yes, hello. Hi, sorry, I don't know if you caught any of what Horses was saying there, all our own views about George Galloway, but I know you're familiar with the debanking apart from anything else, including the debanking of a charity that you support. Yes, that's right. As you know, I was charged with a terrorist defence in 2024, and soon after I was debanked by nationwide, and then the following year, HSBC and First Direct, and following that, Suntounder and Kent Reliance said, yeah, I mean, I've had five banks

24:46in all debanked me. We have approached the National Crime Agency who denied that they instruct banks to do anything, but they have failed to answer a question, which I asked them, which was, had they had any contact with any of the banks? And of course, I put it as subject access request, and that has been an in essence turned down. So it's a mystery who has contacted the banks, but clearly somebody has the favourite organisation is the National Crime Agency. It could be the sad least, counter-terror police as well, but at the moment, I don't know, but solicitors are pursuing it. Speaking of counter-terror police, they're now going round raiding the homes of people who've been holding the placards saying that they oppose genocide,

25:53and support the Direct Action Group, who shall not be named. You of course had a tremendous win two weeks ago today in court when making an impassioned plea to the jury, and now, of course, the four of the Filton activists are appealing the appendage of a terrorism connection to their criminal damage sentences. We can only hope they're successful because it strikes me that adding a terrorism connection to a sentence when the jury have not been told that that is a possibility, and the defendants are only guilty of if anything criminal damage is, well, it's a much overused term, Tony, but it's Kafka-esque. Well, it is, yes, of course. I mean, it's outrageous that a jury is an essence sentencing you, is convicting you, not of the criminal damage,

26:55but of a terrorism offense, an essence, but it never knows what it's doing. And when the jury is... So it's interesting to interrupt, Tony. But interestingly enough, technically, I believe what the court saw, the Crown Prosecution Service, are doing, is interpreting an aspect of terrorism law, which defines terrorism as acting against a state. Of course, in this case, it can only be the state of Israel that they were acting against, and therefore are deemed to be terrorists because they were interfering in the activities of a state, even if those activities are the production of weapons for genocide. Well, yes, Jeremy Johnson, the judge in the filter in 25 case, looked at whether they were trying to influence the Israeli governments and said they weren't, but then held they were trying to influence the British government. And it's

27:59pretty much a stretch to say that if you occupy an Israeli arms factory here, you're really trying to influence the British government. But either way, it's still outrageous that you're being convicted of something that the jury actually doesn't know, it's convicting you all. I mean, that is the monstrosity. And although it's gone to the court of appeal, the court of appeal today is so reactionary and so blinkered. It will find for the government, and virtually anything, when it's involving terrorism, as we saw with the prescription of Palestine action, when they blatantly lied in the ruling, was it so far that what waited to justice compared the Philipson, the Palestine action, rather, to the suffragettes and where the suffragettes were peaceful and transparent in the way they operated.

29:05Palestine action was secretive, violent, terrorist, etc. And of course, anyone who has any knowledge of the suffragettes know between 1912 and 1914, the suffragettes engaged in a bombing in arson campaign that puts Palestine action to shame. They try to assassinate us with their attack Winston Churchill with whips. They bombed George's home. They set fire to race course stands, churches, they poured corrosive liquids in post boxes, injuring a number of postmen, and even killed people. But so far, the Chief Justice has erased that from memory because the suffragettes formed part of a national memory of where the state was quite happy to tolerate direct action.

30:05In complete contrast, what happened at the time. But that's, yeah, the wider legal, sorry to drop, the wider legal point is that even if the Palestine action activists were attempting to influence the British state, what they were doing was trying to get the British state to act in accordance with the Geneva Convention on genocide, the UK government as a signatory to it, as a legal obligation to take whatever action is necessary to prevent genocide and of course it's singularly failed to do so. So I don't know whether that's something the Court of Appeal will consider. It seems that one of the things that hallmarks the current raft of cases is the confining by judges of the trial very, very narrowly to the matter at hand. I mean, in the case of the Filton activists, the judges done everything he can to prevent the defendants

31:10from being able to explain why they were taking the actions they did, even if, as I say, they were trying to get the government to live up to its legal obligations. Well, yeah, I mean, the problem really is that the definition of terrorism in the terrorism act bears no relationship to the definition of terrorism that most people understand, and the international definition, the definitions in four or five dictionaries I've examined say virtually nothing about influencing a government. It's about terror or fear directed at a civilian population. So they've redefined terrorism in such a way that damage to property, health and safety, disruption of an electronic network is terrorism. That is not most people's definition. So it's all well-earned in the sense, they're changing the meaning of words in order to fit into the needs of the status they see it.

32:14And that is really the problem in my trial. They also tried to limit quite absurdly what they called political issues. So I was charged with inviting support for her mass and prescribed organisation. But the judge's board ruled out introducing the things I had written on her mass, which were critical of her mass, from the jury bundle, a decision that the court of appeal would just to see this upheld. So my response to that was quite simple. I disregarded the judge's direction. I repeatedly mentioned what I had written. I read out the titles of it, which were in itself enough, and the jury understood that in essence, they were trying to keep evidence from them in order to secure or wrong from conviction. And I succeeded. And that is what I suggest for defendants. In most trials, you jettison your barrister when it comes to a closing

33:21speech, take it yourself and proceed accordingly and take a little or no notice of what the judge says when the judge tries to stop you explaining why. And don't forget, I mean, if the worst comes to the worst, contempt of court is a two-year sentence. If you're convicted, it's up to 14 years and you're a terrorist, which means even after you serve your sentence, you're subject to very severe restrictions. So, I mean, that was my tactic and it worked. And the jury did it, yeah, I'm telling you so we've got to leave it there. Justice itself, of course, is supposed to be blind, but it seems that the Crown Prosecution Service and judges are trying to blindfold the jury themselves, Tony. 34:23Now, let's move on. Patrick Henningson is still awake, but he has sent us this report on the state of the US dollar. This is an exclusive report for UK column viewers and a lot of you have been following the news. There's been a lot of fear mongering about the economy. Obviously, the war is raging still in the Persian Gulf. The United States has restarted military escalation with Iran and the markets are screaming. The bond markets are basically out of control. And the bottom line here is I want to explain to you with some of the forces that are driving this. It's really important because it's going to affect everybody, no matter who you are, no matter what you do, whether you're living in the United States or whether you're living in Europe or anywhere in the world, quite frankly, you're going to be affected by the crash of the US bond market and ultimately, the debatement of the US dollar. So many economies around the world, including the city of London run on the US dollar more or less. So it's going to affect everybody. The bottom line is this. The

35:27United States is bankrupt. They are absolutely bankrupt. They're in a debt spiral. I'll show you how this debt spiral works in just a moment. But just suffice to say it's terminal. It really looks like there is no way out of this. We've reached the end of an epoch. We've reached the end of an error of US dominance as the global reserve currency. It's going to take a while to unwind, but the structural realities are now coming into play and there's really no way to reverse them. But they're going to try and we'll show you how that works. So you'll probably see in Scott Bessett, the US Treasury Secretary. This is Trump's financial henchmen. This is basically the equivalent of in the game of thrones, you know, the character of Little Finger, the master of the coin, that's Scott Bessett here. And this was a clip that was aired just about a week ago and it's very telling. This is one of the most important clips I think of this entire drama and really pay

36:30attention to what Scott Bessett is saying here. Why not impose this actions today? Well, we are giving everyone the opportunity to remedy bad behavior. Why would I want to blow up the global financial system? And if people do not want to meet our expectations, then we expect and they should expect that they should believe the dollar system. So what Bessett is talking about there is what he's calling an economic D-Day or Operation Outcast. And he admitted two things there which are extraordinary. He basically said that this will blow up the global financial system. So he's pausing, he's giving countries a chance to sort of prepare for secondary sanctions, banks and so forth. Anybody that's trading or doing any commercial activity with Iran, that's the excuse for this anyway, is going to be hit with asset seizures, sanctions, basically financial armageddon. Now the other thing he said was even more telling. And that was

37:34that anybody who doesn't comply will be banned from the US dollar system. So he's basically admitting that what they're doing with sanctions is really pushing the D-Dollarization trend. So it's pushing people out of the dollar and the reason and they're moving out of the dollar is for safety to basically stay clear of the United States government that its long hand can't reach in and steal their assets, steal their gold, steal their dollars on reserve wherever they are in the world. So he's admitting that what they're doing, the policy they're pursuing, to supposedly to punish Iran, but it's really not just about Iran. It's about enforcing US hegemonia, total control, total compliance and conformity to US foreign policy globally and using the dollar as that weapon. That's what he's admitted there. So he's basically said the quiet part out loud. So how are they going to fix this US economic system? The dollar, the US economy is hemorrhaging, will show you why

38:41Scott Bessett here he is. He's basically trying the ultimate caper here and this is Bessens Bond Buyback Scheme. It's important to understand this along a timeline here. Now there are multiple different kinds of bonds. You've got the short term, the midterm and the long term. What we're concerned about here are the long term interest repayments 5.2%. This is like an over 20 year high. And what this really means here is that these are the people, the long term investors are the ones who are buying US treasury bills. This funds the US government. Okay, so they have to basically write an IOU and then promise to pay these investors back at this high interest rate over time. And what's important is that the market sets the interest rate there on the long term bonds, US treasuries. So but on the short term treasuries, the Federal Reserve sets that price. So that price is basically associated with things like mortgage payments,

39:43car loans and credit card rates and so forth. So the lower interest repayments here, those are on the short term, 4 to 52 weeks and then in the middle you have the midterm. So each of these has debt attached to them. And so you've got debt in the long term, the midterm and the short term. What best is trying to do here and this is the, this is the trick. He's basically trying to move that debt from the high cost. The US has to pay all that back at that high interest rate. He wants to erase that side of the balance sheet and push that all over to the short term side. So what he's doing here is yield curve management or manipulation or we'll call it financial engineering is a better word. So this is just basically refinancing US debt. Ultimately, what they're trying to do is they're robbing Peter to pay Paul. How are they going to, how are they going to raise the money for this bond buyback? They're going to sell short term

40:44bonds and to raise money from that sale, then they're going to use that money to buy back the old long term high interest, the expensive debt. So this is a lot of people don't understand. US does not, it doesn't just print money. The Federal Reserve doesn't print money. It raises money to pay for its imperial largeess. It's deficit spending by putting out bond auctions and they've been doing this for the better part of 80 years, at least after the Second World War. This is how the United States has raised money. And with the World Reserve currency, it's been a pretty good system, although it's underlying structures are highly unstable. They're hoping that they're going to be able to pay off this massive national debt by devaluing the dollar. And then somehow that this is going to be offset by this boom in productivity from AI and robotics. And that's the plan. But is it actually going to work? We already can see the AI industry is a massive bubble.

41:48It's probably not going to be able to deliver at least not in the short term in the next few years, even a fraction of what it's promised. So you're looking at a whole disaster here. So what's going to be the solution? Well, there is one waiting in the wings that it looks like it's very possible that this is a planned take down of the US dollar to create a currency reset. And what is that currency reset going? Look like take a look at the genius act here. This was rammed through by the Trump administration, which is basically pushing through this idea of stable coins. And all these stable coins have to be backed mandatory by real securities, i.e. US treasury bonds. So it's mandatory purchasing of all these stable coins, have to purchase bonds. So that's going to they think this is going to fill in this gap that's been left by all these foreign countries that are no longer buying US debt. That by replacing this fake stablecoin economy sitting behind the US dollar economy. And that's going to somehow extend the life of the US dollar as a world reserve currency.

42:54They're going to use crypto or what they're worth to calling stablecoins to do this. So remember, all this is happening with an administration that's been shorting the market on oil and on the stock market using announcements using the the present social media account to make billions and billions of dollars by basically shorting the market and then putting call options on to sort of ride the rebound as well. They're going to short everything. Okay, these are people that are have proven themselves to be ruthless. It's likely that if this is the case, if this actually goes through, if this is the system, whether whether it gets adopted or not, it's hard to it's hard to see. But banks have already prepared for this. They're already issuing their own stable coins. They've already created a cartel and an organization with their own stablecoins. So it does look like this is an option waiting in the wings and right now in the very near future. You're going to see a massive consolidation. These people will have extracted wealth during the crash. And they

44:00will use it to consolidate and then they'll move in to basically buy everything on pennies on the dollar. This is Nathan mayor Rothschild from 1815 in the Battle of Water Little. That's what we're looking at here. That's the risk. That's what it looks like from our vantage point. So we are looking at a major upheaval potential currency reset a US economy that's unfixable in its current form and a whole bunch of gangsters and oligarchs that are positioning themselves to ride the crash and then come out to be the next dynasty of oligarchs for the next 100 years. But let's see how this plays out in the next few weeks and months. And again, we will not attempt to give you any financial advice, but we will say keep your eyes on the news as close as possible because this absolutely will affect everybody in one way or another on Patrick Kenningson back to you.

The quote is he recently understand was asked by the Board of Peace to go to Ramallah and ask to remove from the Palestinian curriculum any mention of the word Palestine, if the word to be treated by the Board of Peace is capable of coming to an agreement with Israel and the current conflict that had stemmed from 7th of October onwards. But the very fact that the Board of Peace could ask for that to be done in Palestinian educational curriculum makes me wonder what principles the Board of Peace is working

56:18on and what understanding they have of justice, of the sense of fairness, of the history of all this. I Middle East, I write this as part of concerted effort by Israel to raise the word Palestine from history books and museums and so on. But the question is what has the response been? Well, there was a statement issued by the Tony Blair Institute regarding the Middle East I article and of course they were extremely cross about it and they went on to tweet this and use the term complete fabrication. You can imagine what the responses on Twitter were to this. But I just thought it was interesting that the Board of Peace itself also used the fabrication or in this case they said entirely fabricated to the same kind of language coming out from both organizations I wonder where they're speaking to each other. They were completely, clearly completely upset about the allegation but nobody in the

57:20comment sections on either of those Twitter posts was in any way surprised by the allegations or prepared to believe the denials from the Tony Blair Institute or the Board of Peace. But Basil, let's end the program today with some more in case you missed it. Yes, in case you missed it although as we get deeper into it it might be a case of I'm glad I missed it. Starting with reform, we talked about the top of the program of course this is a different story. They're banning three journalists from its conference because they didn't like the way they were being reported.
