This is the Iran Brook Show.

Oh, I hate everybody walking through

a roundabout show on this Saturday, February 28th.

This is my, I don't know, 4th, 5th, 6th attempt

to livestream this morning.

So I'm in, it's actually noon.

I'm in London.

This will be a short show because I have a seminar

in a few minutes that I'm giving here in London regarding

capitalism, so.

But I did want to say a few things about the world that

just broke out with Iran as of this morning,

the United States, and Israel in a coordinated, planned,

well-in-advanced effort, it seems.

Attacked Iran, both military targets, all over Iran,

as well as leadership targets.

So for example, the compound of Ayatul Khamini,

the supreme leader of Iran, was attacked and seemingly

from videos I've seen completely destroyed.

I doubt that he was there.

He had probably been evacuated in advance.

I think the Iranians had an idea that this was happening

tonight.

It is why they sent out the ambassador, the old money

and ambassador to the United States yesterday to CBS

to tell the world that the Iranians were ready to compromise

and that the deal was on the table.

They were trying to delay, they were trying to postpone.

But to no avail, it seems like both the Trump administration

and Israel were committed to attacking this morning.

So far, the Iranian response has been

to launch something like 35 ballistic missiles

towards Israel.

As far as I can tell, most of those

were shot down, some dropped into empty areas.

So they didn't try to shoot them down

because they were going to not harm anything.

As far as I know, there's one likely injured person in Israel

other than that, no casualties.

In addition, the Iranians struck American bases.

In Bahrain, they struck, and it seems like they actually

hit the US Navy 5th Fleet's headquarters in Bahrain.

They attacked Kuwait, they attempted

to attack a US bases in Jordan and in the UAE,

as well as at least one missile dropping in Riyadh

in Saudi Arabia.

This seems to be a massive strategic

mistake on the part of the Iranians

because, again, let me just say, I should have said this already,

fog of war, everything I tell you now could turn out to be wrong.

I'm basing what I'm telling you now on the news,

on Israeli telegram channels, and on what I'm seeing on X.

And I did see a statement from the Saudis on X.

Again, it could be false, but what I've seen so far

is that given the attack on Saudi Arabia, given the attack

on Riyadh, Saudi Arabia is now willing to assist the United

States in any way that it can in its attack on Iran.

So, in a sense, Saudi Arabia is joining Israel

in the United States in opposition to Iran.

This is major because it means it opens up Saudi Arabian

airspace to the US, which is a huge advantage in terms

of attacking Iran.

If they'd had to scoot around Saudi airspace,

it would have been impossible, or very, very difficult.

What else can I tell you?

So far, again, no real interceptions.

Only 35 missiles launched towards Israel.

The Iranians were promising hundreds,

if not thousands of missiles towards Israel.

I suspect they still have not recovered from the 12-day war.

Many of their launches were destroyed then.

Many of their launches are being destroyed as we speak.

The ballistic missiles capabilities are significantly deteriorated

from what they were in the 12-day war.

And within hours, they will be significantly reduced even

further.

Supposedly, the Iranians have also launched a significant number

of drones towards Israel.

It takes those drones a long time to get to Israel

and on the way, when we'd expect the Jordanian Air Force

and the Israeli Air Force and the American Air Force

to knock those out of the sky.

I believe that today's attacks involved American

Tomahawk missiles, these cruise missiles that reached

well into Iran, and the Israeli Air Force.

I do not believe, but again, I'm not sure.

And I don't know.

For certain, I do not believe that the American Air Force

has been engaged yet.

The American planes have been engaged yet.

So far, it has been primarily Tomahawk missiles.

My guesses launched from the many ships that are in the Arabian

seas.

You've got an aircraft carrier and many other ships

in the region.

What else can I tell you?

Again, senior Iranian officials were targeted.

So this was a decapitation attempt.

No question.

They went after the President of Iran, the Supreme Leader

of Iran, the many political leaders underneath the Supreme

Leader, including the entire military leadership

of the Islamic Revolutionary God, including the Bashish forces,

the ones that suppress the suppress the demonstrations.

Those headquarters have been attacked.

Israeli Air Force and American missiles

have hit at least half a dozen different cities, maybe

up to a dozen different cities, and many targets

within those cities.

And of course, many targets within the area of the Tehran.

As far as I can tell, the Iranians have

suffered significant leadership casualties,

that it's significant leaders within the Iranian regime

are being killed.

We don't know the details yet.

I've seen some names come across,

including the person responsible for killing

for the executions of many of the demonstrators

after the demonstrations earlier in the year.

So clearly, this was an attempt to go

after leadership, political and military,

and how successful all of that was is yet to be determined.

In addition, there are reports that the Islamic Revolutionary

God bases were attacked significantly,

and that there are potentially hundreds,

maybe more casualties, among the Islamic Revolutionary God.

So all of that is an incredible success.

Donald Trump, in his speech as this was all being launched,

basically to his credit, declared a regime change

as one of the goals of the commission.

That is the first time anybody's talked about

regime change in the context of action against Iran.

And as I've told you in the past, overthrowing the Iranian regime,

getting rid of the mullahs will be the most important,

most significant geopolitical event,

at least since the fall of the Berlin Wall,

if not even earlier than that.

So suddenly of the 21st century and well into the 20th century,

this is huge.

And this will have ramifications for Europe.

It has ramifications for the entire Middle East.

It has ramifications for the United States.

It is taking out a significant enemy of the West.

It is taking out a significant enemy of or significant supporter

of Islamist movements all over the world.

This will reduce the threat of Islamism in Europe.

This will reduce the threat of Islamism.

Really, globally, this is the most important thing

that can be done in order to bring about more peace in the world.

Now, so Kudos to Donald Trump for doing this.

I don't think a Democrat would have done this.

Kamala Harris would not have launched this attack.

She would have compromised.

She would have cut another Obama-like deal with the Iranians.

No way would this be happening under Kamala presidency.

On the other hand, I do believe that pretty much any

of the other Republicans running for presidents

would have done this and maybe would have done this earlier

and maybe would have done this during the 12-day war

and saved us and saved many Iranian lives in the process.

So while Democrats would not have done this, at least not

Kamala, I think some Democrats would have, but not Kamala,

I think pretty much most of the Republican candidates

were president that were running.

In the primary, you would have done this.

So good for Donald Trump for doing this,

but I don't think Donald Trump is the only person

out there who would have done it.

This could be the best thing that Donald Trump has done

in his entire presidency.

He hasn't done many good things, and this would stand

out as the best by far the most significant and something

that I think will benefit the United States for a long, long time.

Given all that, basically this attack is unconstitutional,

and we have to recognize that.

Congress is not given its approval.

This is not an emergency.

It did not have to be done today.

This has been planned now for well over a month,

starting from early to mid-January.

This has been in the works.

There was no problem in going to Congress

and asking for conditional use of force,

conditional on the president's assessment,

the negotiations would fail, or not.

Just given the president's discretion

as to when and how to launch an attack against Iran,

no secrecy would have had to be violated.

No, this wouldn't have had to hamper the effect of surprise.

So absolutely no reason why the administration didn't

go to Congress and ask, other than Trump doesn't believe.

He should, he needs to, he should ask.

I think he would have got an easy majority.

I think a significant number of Democrats

would have voted for this, as well as most Republicans,

not all of them.

Paul would have probably voted against it,

but most Republicans would have voted for it

and supported the president.

So there's no reason not to have gone to Congress.

It is unfortunate because there's such precedence,

and it further establishes kind of Trump's above the law

positioning, which is tragic and unfortunate,

and we will pay for in the future.

Given all that, again, I'm supportive of a war against Iran.

I would have liked to see congressional approval for it.

I think this is crucial for American national security.

It has been, it has been a priority for the last 40 years.

It is 40 years in the making.

It is 40 years, in a sense late.

Many people have died for no reason.

Because you know, the United States

didn't act 40 years ago, but better late than ever.

Let's hope that the United States and Israel,

I think Israel, is the United States now

has to commit to following through all the way

and achieving regime change, not backing down, not backing off.

There'll be a lot of pressure.

The European Union, as usual, is very weak.

In the Middle East, the European Union is just awful.

The European Union has now basically joined Russian condemning

this or certain people within the EU to cheme the lead

of the conservative party here in the UK to her credit.

To her credit, she supports this mission, so good for her.

Maybe one day she'll be Prime Minister.

I doubt it, but maybe one day that would be great.

As just of our mind, I am here.

Live, we're coming to you from London, the UK.

Walk up this morning to the news of these attacks.

Again, the United States launched Tomahawk missiles.

I do not know yet if American airplanes are participating

in what is going on right now.

But the Israelis are hitting hundreds of targets

all over Western Iran.

It doesn't support one of the goals that Donald Trump

set for this mission was the destruction

of the Iranian Navy.

I guess the thing to watch for in the hours, in the next few hours,

is will the Iranians try to block the streets of hormones?

If they do, do they have the capability to do that?

In this initial strike, was the Iranian Navy taken out?

That seems to me to be the United States' primary initial target,

other than kind of regime targets, is to take out the Navy

to prevent them from blocking the streets of hormones.

I think Israel is dealing with ballistic missiles

that its primary target to prevent them from firing at Israel.

But the United States should be taking out the Iranian Navy.

I'm just checking out the telegram channels.

We're seeing missiles that the Iranians launch at quate

are being shot down, other places where

most of the missiles Iran are shot at being knocked down.

It does look like there was a significant hit

of a Iranian missile onto the fifth fleet, headquarters, in Bahrain.

So that seems, I mean, you can see plumes of large amounts of smoke.

They had something of value.

Let's hope the no casualties.

Let's hope there were no Americans killed during that.

It's really hard to tell who in Iran has been hit

and who has survived and who has died.

Yeah, Macron has come out and said, as condemned their tank,

the Houthis are saying that they will participate

and help the Iranians.

Again, I'm seeing a lot of photos out of Bahrain.

I'm also seeing a damage at the American base in Qatar.

It seems that Qatar was hit as well.

And the plumes of smoke coming out of the Air Force base

in Qatar, the Spanish, have condemned the American attack.

The Iranians are claiming, this is to be expected,

but the Iranians are claiming that a school was hit

in the attack this morning and that 40 students were killed

and 48 were injured.

Now, whether it is true or not, whether that is a forced flag

or not, you know, impossible to tell at this point,

but that is the Iranians claiming to try to make the Americans

and Israelis look as bad as possible.

All indications are, again, early indications are,

that this has been planned for months,

that this was planned in detail during Benjamin Netanyahu's visit

to the United States and his meeting with Trump.

And the negotiations were probably just a cover

and a way to delay so that Trump could get American assets

into place.

Netanyahu's argument to Trump when Trump wanted to launch something

during the demonstrations was what you're planning

is too small and too significant.

You need a lot more assets and you need to make this decisive.

And that is why it's been delayed for about a month.

Let's see.

You know, Israeli hospitals are moving to emergency settings.

They're going in to underground.

The transferring patients into underground facilities.

They are still, you know, expecting a bad stuff.

One of the most amazing things out of this

is I have seen videos on X coming out of Iran

of people celebrating.

I mean, their city is being bombed.

And people are going out into the street and dancing

and playing music and celebrating.

The Iranian people, the Iranian people,

my assumption is, are extraordinarily

happy about what is going on.

This is, again, this seems to be a move

to decapitate this regime, to replace this regime,

and the Iranian people are the ones

that will be the greatest beneficiaries if that happens.

But as I said before, this is a major geopolitical event.

I told you already, this is going to be more substantial

than anything else that's happened

since the fall of the Berlin Wall.

So let's see.

I'm just scanning kind of what is going on on Twitter.

Yeah, you can see more videos.

Iranians are celebrating as U.S. and Israeli strikes,

hit targets in the Islamic regime.

Oh, one of the targets hit, which I find interesting,

is one of the targets hit was the home

of the former Iranian president Amin Ajat,

who is one of the worst of the Iranian presidents.

And this suggests that the United States and Israel

are also targeting former regime leaders

so that there's no kind of excuse

for somebody maybe claiming to be more moderate,

coming and replacing them.

They want this, the Islamic regime gone,

no matter under what guise they want them gone.

Supposedly, the commanding general,

the number one person on the Islamic Revolutionary God

has been eliminated.

This is the guy who directed the massacre

of tens of thousands of Iranians in January.

Of course, he is the guy who also is leading

the Islamic Revolutionary God

to him going out, going out, supposedly.

The chief advisor to Hamini,

who was,

chief military advisor has been eliminated in addition.

Gulam Hussein Musnei Ijai,

they had of the judiciary in Iran.

So this is the head of the religious,

Mullah Duref in Judiciary in Iran,

supposedly has been eliminated.

Again, this is all fog of war,

this is all very early, we're not sure.

This is a guy who executed thousands of protesters

by hanging them during the woman's life, freedom uprising.

And during the recent, more recent protests,

nobody deserves the death sentence more than this guy.

This is fantastic news that he has been eliminated

and I'm sure the Iranians are clearly celebrating.

As I said, the IDF has targeted a Supreme Leader

Hamini's palace in Tehran.

It's been destroyed.

Now, it's hard to tell whether he was there,

but it does seem like satellite images

of the Supreme Leader's palace

that multiple buildings have been destroyed,

completely destroyed, wiped out.

The ultimate target, you know,

Israeli official explicitly confirmed that Hamini

was among several high ranking Iranian figures targeted

by this morning's IDF wave of strikes.

There's no confirmation one way or the other

about where Hamini might be,

where his condition is, has he survived.

There's good reason to believe that he was evacuated

from that location before the strikes,

but nobody knows at this point.

The Iranians, of course, are saying everybody's alive,

everything's fine.

You know, this is again unprecedented.

Even during the 12-day war, these Israelis did not target

the top leadership of the Iranian regime.

They did not target the president and the Supreme Leader.

This is a different level of striking

and they wouldn't have done this without American,

American go ahead in American support.

So this is clearly an attempt to regime change

and not just an attempt to significantly weaken the regime,

but to replace it through, and through,

yeah, it does look like the command of Iran's

of the Israeli refugee guard has been killed

in multiple sources.

Claiming that high school kids in Iran

celebrating and thanking Trump for striking the regime

in Iran, the yelling, I love Trump,

the students are yelling.

He'll get a lot of new fans in Iran

if he succeeds in pulling this off.

It's at least some people in Germany supporting the strike,

so Europe is not speaking with one voice.

Conference Reza Palavi has already put out a statement,

he put it out early this morning,

basically telling the Iranians to stay home,

to hunker down, but they day will come

and that he will expect them to go into the streets

to take over when the time comes,

but now is not the time.

I will also note that there are pictures coming out of Tehran

of basically millions of people trying to flee the city.

The streets are clogged completely.

They are cars heading out of town.

This happened during the 12-day war as well,

but this is huge in terms of a huge evacuation,

basically, of the city.

It's going to be interesting if there was an attempt

to actually get approval from Congress on Monday

for these strikes, that is, will they invoke

the World Powers Act, will Congress act to legitimize this?

I hope so.

I hope Congress actually acts.

It looks like there was a direct hit by the Iranians in Jordan,

so seven countries, the Iranians have hit seven countries,

which basically guarantees that the Jordanian Air Force

will now help these Israelis knock down drones

and knock down missiles.

The guarantees that Jordan will allow,

probably allow Israel to fly over its space

as well as Saudi Arabia.

I think it's a huge strategic mistake for the Iranians

to make this a regional effort,

because now the whole region is oriented against the Iranians.

Let me see.

What else is going on?

Yeah, more videos of young Iranians burning the Iranian flag

and raising up the old flag of the monarchy,

so the old Iranian flag.

Let's see, we talked about that.

Yeah, you know, a UK is condemning this attack,

including Ben Rhodes, who is good at another stuff.

I mean, the Iranian, this attack on Iran,

is also going to help Ukrainians,

because it takes out a significant ally of Russia,

a provider of drones and other technologies,

so if this is regime change, that'll help as well.

Let's see, let's just list the countries that have been hit

by the Iranians, Bahrain, US Fifth Fleet,

UAE, Interceptions Confirmed,

one civilian killed by debris.

Qatar, missiles intercepted, no damage,

although ISIL smoke coming out of a photo,

so maybe there's an update.

Quake, missiles dealt with in its space,

so they were shot down.

Jordan, two ballistic missiles shot down,

but we saw one is actually hit.

Saudi Arabia, there's some claims,

and it's supposed to be unverified,

of a hit in Riyadh.

All right, let's see.

Yeah, it looks like the Iranians,

the Saudis have come up with the statement,

saying, let's see, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,

strongly condemns and denounces the blatant Iranian aggression

and violations of the sovereignty

of both the United Arab Emirates,

the Kingdom of Bahrain, the state of Qatar,

the state of Kuwait, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

The Kingdom of firms, it's full solidarity

and standing alongside, it's just the countries

and places all capabilities at their disposal

in any measure they take.

It warns of the grave consequences

of the continued violation of state sovereignty

and principles of international law.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia calls for the international community,

condemns these blatant attacks,

and to take all necessary and firm measures

to confront the Iranian violations

and undermine the securities to believe the reason.

So it doesn't mention the U.S. and it doesn't mention Israel.

All right, this is ongoing,

and there will be ongoing developments during the day.

I have a seminar to go and teach right now on capitalism,

which I will do for the next four hours.

But I will be back, hopefully this new set up

of internet connection will work.

and give you an update on what has happened.

Quickly, you know, the first wave,

there were 30 targets in the first wave,

by a million to Iran.

They included leadership residents,

intelligence facilities.

And of course, we said to Supreme Leader's office.

This, unlike the 12-day war,

which started with a nighttime strikes,

this happened early in the morning,

which is a little different.

I'm not sure why.

Maybe it was to try to, I don't know,

to get leadership in the workplace, hot at all.

It really does look like de-capitation.

Let me see.

Yeah, I don't think there's anything new in this post.

with updates on what is going on.

And exactly, exactly, kind of,

you know, we'll have a lot more information

about the targets and about the response

and about potentially the casualties

on the Iranian side.

I mean, if they can get to the leaders

and they can really get the leaders,

Again, we can see photographs of the

Aitullah Hamini's facility.

It's completely destroyed.

Okay.

Supposedly Netanyahu is up in the equivalent of Air Force One

up above Israel.

So he's taken off.

I guess they're fears of significant additional

attacks against Israel.

I don't know.

And there's a video where Trump is just talking

to a bunch of people and where he is invoking

attacks against US Marines in Beirut 11 in 1983.

Good USS Cole bombing in 2000,

good in October 7th raid.

I mean, he could add a lot more to that list

of what Iranians killing Americans.

I think we're good.
