I'm aware that we're gonna have to talk about that scene with Tamer and Eddie, but I would like to lead things off. With a big thank you to our listeners because we asked you guys to leave some five star reviews to make up for the few people that like to talk shit when we hate watch. You guys showed up in droves. Appreciate you as always, but yeah, that that scene will probably live forever in my brain and I'm not okay. That scene kind of negates the five star reviews. So maybe my mind would just do it again and cheer us back up. We'll get more into it because we were talking before we even started recording. Yeah, I don't know what's going on with this episode. I'm gonna try. Yeah, yeah, yeah, how incredibly turned on we got. Yeah. Oh man, it's eight o'clock. And so that'll make it a I don't need this spotlight. I shine just fine. Hi, I'm karma and yes, I am a bitch.
Brav bros. Good evening, everybody. Welcome back to another episode of Brav Bros, your favorite podcast from the bros for everybody for whoever wants to listen. I am your co-host, Steel Russell joined as always by the one and only Miss Juicy McGudy. What's up, dude? God. This is going to like. It's not a live in infamy for a long time. It's going to be like the dawn with Lala and the honey. We're going to be referring to the cameras. Miss juice. This was worse. This is no was in her ass crack on TV. How do they get away with that? I don't know. You ruined my day when I turn it on and it says 54 minutes and it's already a holiday weekend. I don't want to work on holiday weekend. and that's not bad. It's just really boring. I fell asleep. I legitimately fell asleep
and I did not fall asleep for very long, but I started scrolling back and I realized I only missed like a minute or two. Again, not a lot of action to miss. And then I realized I'd fallen asleep right when the timer Eddie scene started and I wish that I had slept through that whole thing and didn't realize it. That's where I wanted to be. Instead, I had to watch that intently with that post-nap face, still try to figure out what's going on. It was tough. It was really tough. Not how you want to spend your labor day. No, certainly isn't. I mean, overall Danny Pelagrino was talking about it. He's got one episode left and he said and he's dropping the show entirely. But he was talking about how boring it is. He said, it's almost as though the cast wants this show to get canceled with what they're putting on the screen. And like, I'm having a hard time disagreeing with him. It's almost like they don't care or they're that out of touch with the audience or I don't really know. But when you watch the show and the run of show
and what we're talking about, we're discussing, there's a few moments here and there that I'm like, okay, like Carmella, I think it's been a breath of fresh air. I actually like her and Heather's friendship that's forming. But you quickly see the like downfall of the show because the other ladies in the group are just so fucking miserable. Like it's just, oh God, your friends with her. Like you said that she was trashy. Yeah, she did. And then she's gonna go tell her that she said that this is house-sized people talk shit. We get over, it's not that serious. But the other ladies are just such losers. Like they're just fucking losers. And it's so annoying to watch. A group of losers like meh. Everyone sucks and everyone's sad and everyone hates their life. And then they have to go on. We don't wanna watch a show where everyone's unhappy in their own lives. That's what this show has become. Everybody's unhappy. Vicki's trying to convince herself that she's happy. She's not her family's estranged all over the world.
Mike doesn't wanna marry her. Gina, she's fucking miserable. She's putting all of her eggs in this gated group basket. And the second that somebody else would pick her to be the realtor, she has a fucking meltdown. We have to watch her go, I can't believe you picked Carmella. Well, there's a reason. Gina, okay, there's a reason that she didn't use the gated group. And it's because she didn't want a mid-level condominium. She wanted something nicer, okay? So just fucking deal with it. But I'm so tired. I'm just tired of watching a bunch of L7 weenies. Go about their day and just hate their, don't get me started on Emily. Like she is at the top of the list of, I hate my life. And it's a group of them. Shannon, Shannon's alone and sad and miserable. That's what the show is. A bunch of women in OC that hate their lives, except for Heather and Carmella from what I can gather. Good rant. Very good rant. It also makes me laugh though, because one of those bad reviews was,
I challenge you guys to stop hurling insults. It's a problem, you know, have fun. We can't have fun. No. When there's losers on the screen, like I agree with you. It is tough to watch. And it's that component that we talk about all the time with shows that just don't draw your interest. When you really aren't invested in someone's life, they're barely invested in their lives. Like that's the problem. Exactly. And I think you're right. I would actually argue that there's a chance that Tamara in this episode, which by the way, bonkers that she just drops it on us. Like, hey, Eddie and I were driving home. And he said, I think we should file for divorce. We're gonna skip all of that and just go to our sexy. No, no, no, no. We go back to that. You share that with the group and we all talk about it. You don't tell us in a confessional and then speedrun to your sex date and we don't want to watch. So that's bizarre. But you could convince me that Tamara is actively avoiding doing the show because subconsciously she realizes her life is falling apart around her. And she wants to maintain relationships with Eddie
and you know, Sophia, who she just rekindled her friendship with, so to speak, as her mom, which is a weird thing to say. But she might be just folding it in. Like, hey, you know what, maybe I shouldn't do this show anymore. Vicki, I don't know. And Vicki's, you know, it's here, it's there. It's not there. You would think that she understands how all this works. But it's incredibly frustrating when she's going through the entire episode talking about how Mike wants nothing to do with the show. Now we kind of get a glimpse into that. It's a bit of a hold up. Maybe she was supposed to come back a couple years ago, but all the stuff with Don happened and then all the stuff with Mike is happening. So maybe she's realizing, oh, I don't want to do the show. It's going to conflict with my marriages and my relationships. Everyone else, I just don't really care about it. I mean, Heather, thank God it's such a nice scene when she can get ahead of it. And you see Carmella reciprocated by saying what we've been saying the whole time. Like yeah, she wants to get everything out of the table. Great. Heather understands that because it's normal. It's not really hard to wrap your head around things when they're incredibly normal. And I think we're just kind of conditioned and trained at this point with these shows
and this show in particular to say, Carmella's getting ahead of something. Is there more there? Are we sure there isn't more skeletons in the closet? It's like, no, I think that's a normal thing to do. Like, hey, you're going to read things about me. Let me tell you about them first. Then you can go read whatever the hell you want. But now you at least know me. So we can talk about it later and still make sure that we have a friendship. That's what she did. Heather appreciates it. There's respect there. It's mutual respect. Gina, this first scene was so hard to get through for me. It was so bad. I have no idea still right now as we're talking about it. What they were all talking about because I just could not. It was not grabbing my attention at all. And we're bouncing from the sunglass hut to, and you can't convince me that wasn't a sunglass hut. I mean, that was bizarre. That guy was like, hey, Jen, let me see your sunglasses. And I'll get you something just like, why, what's going on here? So we're at a sunglass hut. We're at brunch. We're bouncing back and forth talking about sort of the same thing. And obviously that's what all the Carmella stuff comes out about what Heather said. But more importantly, why would she take Carmella to get Max's apartment, not me?
Maybe because it's not in your fucking territory. That we're talking about someplace that's 100 miles away that Carmella runs in her territory over there. And she's at a pretty prestigious group with the Oppenheim group versus the Gaided group. You do this. She does that. It's apples to oranges as we said last week or maybe it was ultimate girl ship. I don't care. That's where we are though. Like you, it's just so frustrating with Gina. She's just so insecure. And especially with that friendship with Heather. Anytime something pops up, she's like, oh, Heather, if this was the other way around, she'd freak out. It's like, Heather wouldn't care. She just truly wouldn't. And yeah, maybe if you were like saying things behind her back and it got back to where she would use that against you, but deep down, Heather really doesn't care what you do. It doesn't matter. She went to Carmella. She looked at something. That's it. She's trying to actually make a friendship with a new person on the cast. And yes, did she judge her before she got to meet her? Of course she fucking did. We all do that. So he cares. Well, do we have to talk about it the whole episode? Probably not. We're going to talk about it for four more episodes after this. Yes. Now what we're going to do, the narrative will shift.
And after they find out that Heather and Carmella had a conversation, you're going to get a camera who, again, has just been lying and waiting for something to talk about. This is apparently what she's going to talk about. We're going to go to Heather. We're going to go to Carmella. Everything's going to be cool. Then we go to Tamar and it's, well, why would Heather do that? That's such a weird thing for Heather to do. And Jesus can be like, right, right? I know. And then four more episodes of why would Heather do that and dismiss it so quickly? Why is Carmella so quick to dismiss Heather's feelings about calling her trashy? Are they OK or are they plotting something? Like, no, no, it's just not that serious. It's just not that deep. It's not that serious. And that's the problem that we run into with OC all the time. They go so deep on the stupidest things. And then we just get a flash in the pan of something that we can actually talk about, like Eddie saying we went a file for divorce. And we're just going to gloss over and just move on with our lives. It's because they're all wildly insecure. Like, that's all I can. Everyone's insecure. Everybody wants Heather to like them. And when she doesn't, they try to figure out a way to take Heather down. I'm totally off the Heather take down
tray now because the only people I like on this show are Heather and Carmella. So I don't want to see that because I don't want to see Gina and Emily and Tamara and Shannon put their heads together and figure out a way to kind of jab and pick on Heather because the only thing that we're going to get is more of, oh, budding friendship with Carmella, what can we say to affect this? What can we say to get in the middle of this? Because we don't want her to be friends with Carmella because there's a lot of fishy things about Carmella. There's not. And we don't care. And it's boring. And this whole entire season is predicated on the Heather take down. At least that's what we saw early on. And now it's like, OK, that's not fun anymore because you guys aren't fun. And you haven't done anything with the beginning of the season. Like literally nothing. We have not moved the needle at all. We haven't gotten further on any storylines. There's really no storylines to discuss. Yeah, what else happened? Shannon's alone. Like that. And we lead off with the fucking blood work
that sets up the scene with Eddie and Tamara. Because they're talking about that she has no estrogen or testosterone and Tiamarides testosterone because Emily said, I got testosterone. And it helped with my sex drive and this and that. So Tiamar's planning out this night of seduction because the kids are gone. We should be boinkin. And then in that same scene, you get a Heather update, which is just she's not happy with me. Emily, you could literally take that sentence and apply it to probably every single episode of OC that we've ever watched. Oh no, Emily and Heather are beefing because Emily said something stupid because Emily's insecure. That's where we're at once again. And with the sun glass hot crew, they're just talking about Emily and the disagreement that they had. And like, here's the thing. Because the big takeaway is that Heather's overly sensitive. Is Heather overly sensitive? Or is Heather sick and tired of you nitpicking her every fucking move? All of you talk shit about everybody.
And yet half of you are trying to be friends with Carmella after talking about this goddamn Dior clutch for eight fucking episodes. And yet you're allowed to move on. You're allowed to grin and bear the fact that she talks to some shit. But it's okay because we're friends now. We've gotten to know her a little bit. But God forbid Heather do bro does that because she's fake. We're not. We're being legit. We wanna be friends with Carmella now. I'm so glad that she doubled and tripled down with the Dior shit at the end of this episode. That's giving me life. That's making me get through these episodes because that's a funny stick. And she needs to keep doing that. Every event she should bring a new Dior clutch and keep hammering home that I actually have money. I actually can afford to do these things. Did you see my giant house? Yeah, here's the Dior clutch and just throw it at them. Just start coming in with your and throw it at them. I don't care about any of these storylines at all. Like how can you? If you are again, and we've done this activity
a lot with our listeners, but if you really are actually invested in this and we talked about it which I think is more contentious when we talk about the Valley because we don't like it for all the reasons we don't like it but it's those exact reasons why some people like it. And that's okay. And we can have us do that. You cannot do that with OC. OC is just downright boring. And I think the writing on the wall is just, we're gonna talk and I guess that makes sense that Vicki would take center stage. But it's all very confusing. And this is exactly what we're talking about with Vicki. We're questioning her and Mike I guess is what we're gonna get to the rest of the season that next like nine episodes or whatever it might be. The rest of it is so stupid. By the way, we're questioning. I quit made up things. Just things. It's all made up things. And look, yes, you could say that Vicki could get ahead of it. I mean, like look at the, you know, the inverse of this situation and go to Carmella who's just dumping everything on the table. Vicki could do some of that. She could talk about some of these things. They're saying that she's hiding Mike and that's gonna be a big problem. We're gonna have to endure that for a long time. But everything else that's leading up to it,
it's like, okay, we're gonna get some big crash out with Emily and Heather, which we've seen before. It never goes the right way. Heather's just gonna disengage and walk away. And then Emily's gonna get her feelings hurt. Jean is gonna get thrown over the bus in some capacity. Tamer's gonna try to insert herself at some level. It's not gonna work. It's not gonna hit. It's not gonna do anything for us. Shannon's gonna cry in the corner and have a sneezing fit. And then we're just gonna be stuck once again. That's pretty much what we do year in and year out. It usually happens a lot quicker than this. This has been such a slow burn that maybe it's given some people some hope and I understand that. But I guess really the only thing that we might have and really the only momentum we might get is you don't really know what Vicki's gonna do when she gets pressed. And we see it a little bit at the end of this episode. She might lash out. She might throw some other people in there. She might drag people down in the mud with her. That's some hope at least, at least just based off of Vicki in her history. But you need more than just that. You can't revolve an entire show around what Vicki's gonna do when people are just hypothesizing and she tries to say later in the episode
about your relationship. All of this Heather Emily stuff, Heather Carmella, Gina getting upset about Heather using Carmella, like all this stuff that happens in the first 20 minutes of the episode is cannon fodder. It's just nothing. It's really nothing. It's just a bunch of women sitting around having a normal conversation about not knowing answers to things and questioning them. And then they just start spiraling, inspiring, inspiring because they wanna make a show out of it. But it doesn't work because you're just basing it off of loose facts and not really anything good. And then your opinions, which we know and it's very well established, your opinions are all worthless. That's what it comes to. You guys never do anything funny. You guys never do anything fun. You don't have any good points to make. You don't get anybody really point them out and tell them exactly what they did wrong. And then they get stuck and it's like, good, I landed a hit. It's just worthless. All of it. It's so boring. It's hard to land a shot. When again, like, because we get this scene and we're kind of moving through this, jumping around a little bit. But everyone's talking about Mike, right?
And the Vicki and Mike's situation and we get this whole scenario, that sounds terrible. And I'm in this moment, I'm like, oh, well, that sucks, Mike's a piece of shit. Apparently she's got 90 days. And if she pisses him off, he's not gonna give her the ring. And this and that, the other, it's like, well, yeah, that's pretty shitty. And yeah, Mike sounds like a piece of shit. And you're also getting, you know, people talking about how Mike doesn't wanna be on camera and Vicki's kind of quadrupling down on that one, where it's like, yeah, he doesn't wanna be part of any of this stuff. When you put all that together, it's like, yeah, he sounds like a nightmare. Come to find out at the end of the episode. Nobody said that. Gina said that. Gina just pulled it out of her ass. I was like, oh, well, I just assumed. And we're just speculating and throwing things against the wall. And Vicki's like, whoa, whoa, he's never engaged or never proposed. I don't know if there's a ring. If there is, he's got it in a safe. And somebody's like, well, this line, just like, what are we doing? It was like, men don't like to shop for jewelry. Why would a man buy a ring and put it in a safe? What, what do you mean?
I'm pretty sure that's how a lot of engagements work. They, dude buys a ring, not sure when he's gonna pull the trigger, hides the ring so that future fiance doesn't find the ring in this scenario, what it sounds like to me. Again, taking Vicki's word for it. Vicki and Mike are both older. They both lived their lives. They've both been married. They have kids. They're not sure. They don't know if that's the correct step. They're happy together in this life that they have. That's what it sounds like. But now we have this scenario in which Mike is quite literally dangling a ring in front of us. We're like, whoa, gotta go, gotta be quicker than that. It's like the dude from the Geico commercial with the dollar. Oh, oh, no. But that's what we get. And it's really just an off-handed comment by Vicki who probably had a couple of drinks and she got a little loose in Vegas. And she said something that she regrets. But we're gonna just craft an entire thing off of that. Which that's again, very frustrating. And it just shows you where the show is. It shows you where the season is. That they know there's nothing going on. Like somebody who's the seasoned vet like Tamara
knows that there is nothing going on. Do you think that she would quickly turn on Vicki the second that she gets back if she knew that there was nothing? That's exactly what she would do. There's nothing else out there who can handle it. Who's actually got something going on? Let me get Vicki involved. She said something weird in Vegas. Let's just really hone it on that. It's really all that happens. That's exactly what Tamara's gonna do. And it's Vicki backtracking and whatever. I really don't care about any of that. I just don't know really what you do with the rest of the group. Because it's really just, Tamara talking about Vicki, Tamara talking about Shannon, the Heather and Carmelo stuff will figure itself out. It's really just that and then everybody else's opinion is getting jammed in there. That is kind of where we are. That's all that's on the show right now. Yes. It's tough and I know I'm like boiling it down to the bare minimum, but they're giving us the bare minimum. That's really like that really just laid out the structure of this season of Orange County. Like that's literally it. And then where a Shannon thing is like, Tamara attempting to rile up Shannon and Shannon not taking the bait.
That's it. That's it. That's it. And I just hope, I do just hope and pray that Tamara has learned her lesson. Like all right, Shannon's not taking the bait. Let me move on. Do not keep doing this because that's another thing that I really don't want to see unless it's something along the lines of what we talked about last week where Shannon can just kind of like shed the weird fake personality, become herself. Maybe Tamara can get in there. Maybe that's what Tamara's trying to do again. I am giving them way too much credit. I'm giving Tamara way too much credit. And it's not even really giving Tamara that much credit. It's just giving everybody else credit and the show itself credit. So I don't really know if even that's going to play out, but it's just that. And then the central figures who were actually involved will get mad at other people for having opinions and spinning things. That's what we're going to get. And that's really all we have. There's nothing else here. We talked about this like two or three episodes ago too. They're not laying foundation. There's no foundation. We're trying things here and there. We have tried things in the past here and there. And then it goes away very quickly. Some things are going away in a good way. Some things are going away in a very bad way. But talk about something else.
Like there has to be more going on in your lives. And maybe that's what Bravo thought. Like let's just inject Vicki into this and just see what happens. That's exactly what it was. We'll just have kind of like an off-season. Only plan was here's Vicki. Go. Yeah. And Vicki can't handle it. Vicki needs some time to warm up or maybe she doesn't have it anymore. I don't know what it is. Again, I still have hope that she can return to form in some capacity. She needs other people. You need supporting characters to do something and the other supporting characters are so bad that now we get to a point where we have Jen sitting down with her sons, which I completely forgot about. And Jen's son gets a confessional. I'm like, what is this? Who are you? What do we need? Like that scene was like, you know, like I actually appreciated the boys sharing some emotional intelligence. I thought Dawson had a couple of good lines. I thought it was. It's speaking bizarre. It's like where and when did nothing do with anything do? No. And I never in a million years would be like, oh, I'm looking forward to the confessional from Jen's kids. I don't, I'm not mad at it.
I'm just where the fuck did that come from? And it came from the editors looking at what they had for this episode going, wow. They really, they dialed us up for a 54 minute episode, huh? Fuck, what are we, what are we putting here? Wait, how do you think that works? I don't know. It's a photo. That's the crazier thing to me is like, there is a world in a world where they looked at this episode and what they had, they're like, ooh, we've got enough for 54 minutes. This was a banger. Oh, you know what the other thing is? This is sort of like the Friday afternoon newsdap. Like, all right, we've got Thursday night, OCs coming out. Let's put all of the really boring shit and then that weird tally- I want to see it. All right, back to the gaming. And let's throw it in there because people are going to tune out. They've got plans for the weekends. They're going on trips. They'll circle back and rewatch OCs maybe next week and we won't really have to do a new stuff. I legitimately thought, because obviously I'm still on socials, but like, I'm running around all weekends. I didn't see anything from OCs.
Usually you see something here and there. I just figured there wasn't an episode. Like I genuinely thought there was no episode for OCs this week. Here's what they did. They put all the boring shit and weird stuff that has nothing to do with it all in this episode, hoping that people skipped it and then they can come back next week. So maybe we'll get a banger next week. You know, put that out there in the universe. Well, sure. Yeah, let's start manifesting. I like that idea. And I mean, again, we're jumping around. That sort of takes us to Shannon's. And like the one thing I'll say about Shannon and the tamer thing. Like, what I much prefer the real Shannon to show up one season, yeah. Because we've heard way too many stories of who she is off camera from everybody in production, PAs, camera men, fucking hosts, JKB, just horror stories of how this woman treats them. I would much prefer to see that Shannon on screen than this doctored up Shannon that we get. What I will say, I'm glad she's not taking the tamer bait. And the things that she's doing with Tamer are just setting healthy boundaries.
Hey, I'm not ready for this yet. We're moving in the right direction. And Tamer trying to take a molehill and turn it into a mountain of, oh, I'm putting myself out there. And Shannon's doing a good enough job. And where she's like, I'm not saying that. I'm not ready to jump into the one-on-one friendship with you again. Because in Tamer's like, well, what have I done? I was like, are you fucking kidding me? What do you mean, what have you done? You've been a disaster to this woman for years and years and years. That's what you did. The fact that she's even giving you an olive branch. And then you're going to bitch and moan about the stipulations of said olive branch is nuts to me. And yes, it was nice, especially for Shannon, who's admittedly said, I feel very lonely, to watch everybody go over there and have a little pizza party and they all show up. Well, super nice. But while we're on our way over there, I do have one question. That's it. Why wouldn't you just show us the ride over if you have Gina picking up Carmella? Oh, I don't know. Carmella are driving in a car together. And Gina has had a lot to say about Carmella. Or maybe Gina could get ahead of it
and just completely cuck Heather before she gets a chance to do it at the rear side. What did her? What did her? What did her? Maybe they thought she was going to do that and they're like, you know what, let's carpool. Let's figure this out. We'll throw Carmella in with Gina. Maybe Gina will bring it up on the ride over. And then she just didn't. And again, Gina will be bagpipe to the whole way there. That's why. Dude, but show us that. You know what I mean? Show us that so we can formulate an opinion of where Gina is and if she grows spine, which clearly she didn't. But I want to see that. Like make those uncomfortable car rides part of this. Instead, we go to Shannon's and everybody shows up. And it's like, wow, this is really nice. It's a pizza party. Oh my God, it's a surprise. Tamer's not going to be here because she's having sex with Eddie somewhere or maybe not having sex. I don't really know what they're doing. They're doing weird shit with ears over there. I get it. Leading into like the West to demand the stuff. But I don't really get it. I really don't understand how you can have those two in a car and Gina has so much to say and they don't even show us that. Like at least, don't even show us that they came together at that point. If you watch the film and you go back through that
and there's just nothing there, they just show them all showing up and like being together and then you can be like, all right, cool. Yeah, Carmella and Gina and Emily all showed up at the same time, whatever. But showing them driving the car together makes me think that they had some sort of conversation. I want to see some of it so we can formulate an opinion. Yeah, no, they didn't show any of it. I forgot that they arrived together until you brought that up. And yeah, I just thought that was weird. It's a missed opportunity is what it is and a show that desperately needs more opportunities. And that takes us to the, the Jen Dawson and Grayson scene, which again, I mean, remove it from this show and put it in a different show. Like sure, this is a nice scene. It's Jen who's been having a hard time with her kids who has been open with us, the audience, which we very much appreciate. I'm not gonna knock her for that. Dawson, who was kind of a question mark, seems like he's kind of finding his footing, not thrilled to be in the Marines, but sticking it out and have some decent advice for his little brother. Dude, you can't do this by yourself. Grayson is doing like the young adult thing where he thinks he's a grown up and can handle his own shit.
And he's gonna find out that he can't, but it's nice that Dawson's giving him a guiding light. I don't know. But in the structure of the show, this, where? This cuts random. It's random. It's very random. It's random in this episode. And I think it would be random no matter what, but we weren't talking about any of these things. We just went over to Gens. It's like, we're talking about two things, maybe three things total if you throw in Tamar and Eddie. That's where we're going with this episode. And then they just insert this in the middle, like, all right, let's check it in. This timeline wise doesn't really matter. You could put it in with another episode, another throwaway episode, because most of these are gonna be throwaway episodes. But put it in an episode that's a little more family-centric where you're gonna make us go over to Shane and Emily's and talk about their kids. And you're gonna make us go over to Gina and Travis, talking about how they're figuring out when they're gonna get married. And Travis is born. Yeah, and Travis is balls. And then that would have made sense if you kind of insert it there. This one just came out of nowhere. And then I'm looking down at my phone. I'm looking back up and like, all right, we're still here. This is a nice scene, I guess, you know,
comradery, brotherhood. I'm happy for Jen. She looks like she raised some good kids, whatever, they'll see all this goes. And then we go right back to the rest of the shit. It's like, what was that? There's like kind of an intermission act. Well, we go from that to Tamar checking in as Miss Juicy. And she's talking about how her and Eddie have been flashing the public. Yeah, like at the bar just like opens up for coach. She's very lingerie and she's talking about how her and Eddie were good up until a year ago, which I'm not a doctor or a lawyer, but I do remember over the past few years, there's been tension and issues with their marriage. So that's not true. And now we have to watch as they go up to the room, mind you, this is when we find out out of nowhere that Eddie had brought up. Hey, I think it's time to file for divorce. We're not going to talk about that. Don't worry, we're not going to talk about that. Instead, we're going to go play sex, Jenga, in which we have to watch Eddie trace her body with his finger, do ear stuff, have her bar like a dog.
Oh, you watched it. Yes. And then at one point his nose is legitimately in her ass crack. Danny Palagrino says, it was borderline degrading for Tamar. It was just a fucking strange scene. It was not like a, oh, wow. Look at this. Like we get to see them come together after not being great and like have sex again. It's like, why are we watching the foreplay of this and then watching them kick the cameraman out so they can go fuck. Like I don't want to see this at all ever, not even. It is. It is reminiscent of Heather and Justin in Salt Lake doing their weird sex body painting thing. Yeah, it's that. Another uncomfortable. And another one in the bathroom with Meredith's toe and Seth's taint. Like these things we don't want to at least those and then the Meredith's. The back toe was. We're not removed from it where it's not weird anymore. It's very funny. But I feel like at least like Justin and Whitney, they were doing something. And yes, Justin lost his job for it.
And I think that's incredibly funny too, because I don't really like that guy either. But like at least there was a theme to that. That was kind of funny. This was just our marriage is falling apart. We need to have more sex. We're going to do a sex game. I'm going to flash the public. And then the camera men are going to stay there. And I don't know. That's just it's just so weird. The whole thing they might up during sex just to get some like background audio, some B-roll. I don't know if Tamron and Eddie would do that. There's definitely some housewives out there that would want to do that. They get off on that weird shit. But I think Tamron and Eddie are in such a weird place. But again, we're just kind of figuring it out. We don't know. I mean, we've theorized over the last few years that they're not in a good place. That's what they said. They did. It's on Tamron's turn. We saw the batter right now. Eddie like in the blanket after the fucking. Remember that when Tamron lost his head at Gen. She was going at Gen. Yeah, but that was more. Again, we're not talking about it though. Tamron's not really letting us into it.
Like those uncomfortable scenes for someone like Tamron who's been on the show for so long, you need to know we're going to get cameras in your house. And you and Eddie are going to sit down and talk about the time that he said we needed the force. Like why are we not seeing this? That's the happening first. And then the work thereafter, instead of just kind of, it's a punchline. I'm almost, I'm like, borderline feeling bad for Tamron too, because it's like, okay, there's no build up to this. We don't really know what's going on. I don't know if you're hiding it or the producers don't think it's that interesting, which is crazy in a show like this. Where nothing is interesting. I would imagine the two of them talking about their marriage. Yeah, we might get some eye rolls out there, but it's better than what we're putting out. So show us all of that. Then this scene gets thrown in a season later. And it's like, okay, that makes sense, because we've been there every step of the way. It's still going to be uncomfortable, but throwing this and shoehorning it into an episode, and then dropping the bomb that Eddie wanted to file for divorce a couple of weeks. He goes like, what the fuck? What did this happen? We knew you guys were in a bad place, but tell us. And like, with the two-year point,
I'm all frazzled out, two-year point, we get forced to watch a scene that nobody wants to see. And in the midst of that scene, you give us the premise of a scene that we would very much want to see, something that would actually push the show forward in talking about Tamara and Eddie, and where their marriage is currently, the fact that he wanted to get divorced a year ago. Like that's something that we would like to talk about. I do not want to watch you play sex, Jenga. Like that was not when you had those two things. And you're like, which one should we dive into? You picked the wrong one. Get back the wrong horse. And then we have to suffer as a result. This episode is sponsored by Vinted. I feel like we all have that section of our closet filled with clothes that we keep telling ourselves that we're gonna wear again. I promise, we're definitely gonna wear that shirt again, even though it didn't really fit that well, even though I didn't really get any compliments, or it still has the tags on it. And I actually never wore it, but I have an idea that I might wear it. And I've been trying to be better about cleaning out my closet
and Vinted makes it really easy to actually do something with the stuff that I'm not wearing. Vinted is a second hand marketplace app where you can sell your clothes you no longer wear and make some extra money while giving those pieces a second life. And the thing I really like about Vinted is how simple the selling process is because it could be a headache. A lot of those other sites are very, very stressful, but all you have to do is list your item and when it sells, Vinted creates the prepaid shipping label for you. So you don't have to do all that stuff yourself. Plus, there's no seller fees. So you keep everything you earn. And the Vinted app is free to download, which makes it really easy to just start listing some of those pieces that you have sitting in your closet day after day. Honestly, it's a great feeling to clear out some of that space, get some extra money along the way, and then you use that money toward refreshing your wardrobe. Maybe there's some pieces that you'll actually wear this time around. Ready to clean out your closet, make some extra money, download the Vinted app for free and start listing. With no seller fees, you keep every dollar you earn. Give your clothes a second life with Vinted.

This is Mic Unplugged, the voice and face of modern leadership, entrepreneur, and self improvement. Let's get started. And I mean, the episode just kind of limps along. It's like you get Heather, Emily, and Jen, Jopps to pose with Shannon, Vicki, and Tamara, except Tamara's in show-off to lunch. And again, this is Tamara just trying, trying to make this Shannon storyline happen. That's getting frustrating too, because Shannon's not taking the bait. She said, hey, I don't wanna do the one-on-one.
It's Vicki's birthday. Let's have a trace of Micah's lunch while I'll get together. Be a good time. That's not her saying, fuck you, Tamara. That's her setting boundaries and just trying to move forward a little bit here and there. And everybody in the trace of Micah's Vicki at the helm, once like the trace of Micah's to get back together, wouldn't that make a lot of sense? No, instead, Tamara's gonna go to the lunch with Heather, Emily, and Jen, and then send snarky flowers to Vicki and Shannon. It is seen like that really pisses me off, because it wasn't the time for it. She's trying to do something iconic in a moment that didn't call for it. Like you're not at the send flowers level that are signed Tamara Grudge. Like, Shannon's not holding a grudge. This is not grudge worthy. And even after this, you're gonna try again when everybody gets together for the healing thing and try to poke and prod. And again, Shannon doesn't take the bait. So like you said, I'm hoping that shuts it down
because you see Tamara trying to further this storyline when she's not lunch with Heather and them. So they say, well, Shannon said this and like, I'm trying to move on. And she doesn't want to move on. And like, I can't keep putting myself out there because she's not meeting me halfway. Shannon, meanwhile, it's like, well, this makes the change, quote unquote, feel like bullshit. And all I'm sitting there thinking is like this is 100% Tamara's ammo. We've seen this exact thing. You're watching all of this change, this therapy that has been supposedly working isn't doing anything. She has not changed. And this is the first crack in the armor. If Shannon wants to poke and prod, she actually has a leg up here. You could get the real Tamara Grudge to stand up. You could get her to come out and be like, ah, I knew you were full of shit, but that's not gonna happen either. And I don't even know if I want that to happen. I don't want to see Tamara and Shannon go back and forth again. So again, here we are at this lunch. They're talking about Mike, Vicki and Shannon are talking about something else.
The other ladies are talking about Mike and we're just literally making up things that did not happen according to Vicki at least to take to this healing thing at the end. And we get to the healing thing at the end. And the big thing also talked about a lunch before this was that Heather called Carmella Trashie and all of these other things. Valid, true. What are we gonna do about it? Heather is going to take a very smart move and get ahead of it and go up to Carmella and be like, I did call you Trashie. I said all these things, but you know what? I really like you. I want to move forward. I hope this doesn't put a dead end under friendship. Carmella, look, I'm used to getting judged. It's okay. We can move forward. I really like you too. Boom, done. That is the only semblance of hope that we have for something good to come out of this season because that friendship and it's one of the only things I've liked on this season. The friendship of Carmella and Heather is going to eat everybody else alive.
They're going to fucking hate that because one, she's a realtor and she stepped on Gina's toes apparently according to Gina. Two, everybody wants to be Heather's friend and they thought, oh, there's no way that this ex-playboy model can be friends with Heather. Lowen behold, she's a lot cooler than all of you. So Heather wants to be friends with her. It's literally gonna piss them off to a degree that we might actually see some fireworks. But that's the only thing I can look at and be like, maybe, maybe that'll come to fruition because Heather got ahead of it and this is a fun duo. Yeah, I'm happy you were able to just get through two full scenes explaining the scenes. You didn't have an opinion at the end, so that was good though. That's why I was laughing the whole time. That's my point. This is literally recapping this show is literally, here's what happens. It's just saying what they did. This is what happened. And this is how I feel about it now. We have their opinions are so off base and they've gotten to the point where they're just like completely making things up just to try to like, like,
about Mickey and Mike. It's like, okay, guess where there's nothing really to discuss there except you guys are all idiots and there's nothing to talk about. Great, let's just keep going and truck it along here. And you ended it with an opinion at least, and I agree with the opinion because I do think the show could be watchable and be somewhat entertaining if it's just, if it's Heather and Carmella, because you know what, Timers distracted, Chad and she's got so many things going on. Her life is very sad and miserable. Vicki's back and forth from Mexico with Mike. Now she's worried that people are talking about Mike and she's gonna get pissed off. No one else really has a storyline. So you know what, fuck it. Behind closed doors, like a little back door action. Let's get Heather and Carmella to be friends. And that'll piss everybody else off and maybe we'll win at the end of the day. Maybe that'll be enough where everybody else, and this is what we're gonna see too as we move forward. We're gonna see the conversations between Gina, Emily, Tamara, whoever. When did Carmella and Heather become so close? I don't understand it. Heather had an event the other day. And Carmella was the first person to show up
and she was making friends with all the people that Heather hangs out with. I don't get it. It doesn't make any sense. She called her trashy. They're still gonna be doing that. They are going to be, they are going to be bewildered because they've been talking about Heather and Carmella then they get distracted by Mike and Vicki. Before they know it, those two are friends. And we're like, when did that happen? But it's going to be four episodes of these side discussions of the rest of the women saying, I don't understand how that works. How are they friends? When did they become friends? Did we miss some? Yes, you missed a lot of things. You missed a lot of things because you weren't privy to it because you were invited because you're boring. That's what we get. At this point, most of you guys just film together. Some of you might be friends. Otherwise, you're kind of just at the behest of whatever time or wants to do. And right now, she's trying to work on a shadow. Once that doesn't work, she might turn her sights towards Vicki depending on how that situation's going. And then she'll catch Heather and Carmella becoming friends and she'll try to break that up. She'll try to find some avenue in which we can actually have a show in some sort of drama.
But the rest of you aren't doing anything and you're not really paying attention to anything because you're so in your own heads that when we get to this healing event and everybody's sitting down, we're going through what you guys are thinking. And I know half of you were like, this is bullshit. I don't even really want to be here. What is this thing? Meanwhile, you've got the woman who I actually thought was kind of funny, that Jen set up. Clearly she was a fan because even halfway through, she looked at the timer. She's like, time her, close your eyes. Come on, close your eyes. She probably is a fan of the show so she knows who they are. But otherwise, they didn't talk about anything there and then they just said, I'm thinking about this show before. Yeah, yeah. But she just immediately looks right at Vicki. Everybody's looking at Vicki. Like, let's talk about this mic thing. Let's get through all of this. Carmella and Heather just had a private conversation. Not one person said, wait, what did you guys talk about? Are you guys okay? What's going on here? Nope, we're talking about Mike and Vicki right now. And here's all the things that we've made up over a lunch that you weren't invited to. Exactly. And then Vicki finally is just like, fuck it. I don't care about the ring. I wish I didn't say anything like that. He's not holding a ring over my head.
I don't really give a shit. And it makes sense. And that's the worst part of all of this is when Vicki's screaming and she's elevating her voice and she gets fed up. I know exactly what she means. We're late in our lives. We don't need to get married. We want to get married. We've had a discussion about that. There have been times where I wanted to get engaged. I think he has a ring. He's not holding it over my head. But I do think we're waiting for the right time to do that. And yeah, maybe I explained it in a weird way and you guys are just taking it and running miles with that. But that's where we are. And it's not because Vicki's not giving them information. It's not because Vicki's hiding Mike. That's where we're going, by the way. And you know we're right right there. It's not that she's hiding him off screen. The guy is fucking 70s. He probably just doesn't want to be on the damn show. He wants to film some scenes, some nice scenes of Vicki. Give her a kiss and walk out the door and not record. And then immediately as soon as the cameras leave, he'll probably go back and hang out and then they'll have a normal dinner. That's where we are. That's all it is. It's not some big drama piece. It's not some big scandal that you guys need to read into.
But because there's nothing else there and it's just a little inconsistency about the way that Vicki talked about Mike, that's where we're going. And everyone's going to dig into it because Tamra started. And now Emily's going to start. And then everybody's got their opinions about the whole thing. And it's just a fire we do like this. Again, it might get Shannon so revved up that she starts lashing out as other people which could lead to further drama and maybe some interesting things because you guys have nothing going on in your lives. I need all of your friendships to start falling apart. Then maybe we'll have something. I mean, that's a start. And like as you move through this lunch, you know, Heather obviously pulls Carmella to the side. They squash their beef. And these things are funny to me. This stuff makes me laugh because you know, you cut to Emily's confession or she's like, she's just going to tell Terry now. And she's got to tell Terry now. That's a horror. Bear with me or she jumped the gun. It was judgy. Found out she really enjoyed spending time with this person.
Bit the bullet and confessed and now they're friends. That's it. That's it Emily. But you want to be in Heather's good graces. You want to be her best friend. Gina, you want to be her best friend. You and Emily, Gina and Emily's friendship, I think is based on the fact that both of them would much rather be friends with Heather. But they can tie to each other when Heather pisses them off. Yeah. Jen, who for better or worse, like tends to be relatively normal. She's kind of our beacon here for like normalcy. Her reaction is the correct reaction. I give Heather credit because Carmella doesn't deserve that. And she confessed. She told her. That is it. But we're going to try to make this into something it's not with Emily and Gina because they're fucking losers. They are losers and they're going to take this and run with it.
It's going to be bullshit. It's got to get annoying. The only positive thing that I can think of and I know that all we do on this show is like, well, if they did this, this would be good. We do fan fiction. Yeah. The only thing that I'm like, all right, cool. That'll push Heather and Carmella closer together and then maybe we can watch them have some fun on a show that is completely void of anything fun. I actually, I really like that idea. And this is more interesting to talk about because we're creating a scenario in which this is a watchable show. I like that idea because Carmella is still so new and I do think she wants to get involved in some of the shit. And I think Heather is so checked out and realizes that she doesn't really have to do a lot of things with this, but she could collect the paycheck. And people are afraid of her and they're not going to go after her or when they do, they're so incompetent that it really doesn't matter. So she doesn't have to do anything. But I think if they become friends and then Carmella gets involved in something, it could bring Heather into it. Then if Carmella wants to insert herself in something else, she wants to stand up for Shannon
against Tamara, you might get Heather to jump along to that and then Heather's going against Tamara. Like maybe some way that could work its way out in the next couple of episodes, I would hope. But I, even then, I feel like that's such a long stretch that I can't really see it happening. It's just something that I would like to see happen. Yeah. And like the rest of the lunch, like we already talked about was the Mike engagement stuff and literally just a bunch of made up shit that Vicki has to contest with. And then the other part was just the Shannon and Tamara stuff. And again, Shannon makes it very clear. Hey, we're good. I'm just not there yet. Totally reasonable, totally normal. I totally get it. Tamara does not compute, does not know how to take that and turn it into drama. So she's having a short wire, like a few is just blue where she's like, wait, this works. This always works. What do I do now? I don't know what to do if I'm not going to attack Shannon. Who else can I attack? And she's going to turn her sights on somebody.
I can only guess. I don't think it's going to be Vicki. I know you said that. I can only guess it's going to be Heather and Carmella. I think that she's going to get some of that information about what Heather said about Carmella and try to turn it into something more. That's like literally all I can think of. It's the Katie Janella. We heard one thing and we're going to take that and turn it into a whole personality and make everything suck. I don't know. But that's all that happened. That's it. That's it. Sorry, guys. And if you don't like our hate watches, then I don't know what to tell you. We're trying our best over here. I don't know. Let's get some questions. Questions are even going to be. Let's just start off with this one. Ryan Stoeman 83. An activated tamer makes the episode in my lying. Ryan, that was one of the worst episodes of Housewives. I've ever watched a mind tire. I love Ryan and his tamer fandom.
He's consistent. You are consistent. Yes. And actually activated tamer. This was even an activated tamer episode. I don't think anyway. I didn't think so either. An actually activated tamer would be very good for the show right now. Very good episode is going to involve an activated tamer. I don't think that was an activated tamer though. I think it's coming at some point. She's going to throw it out there somehow. Mm hmm. Oh boy. Yeah. It's just a lot of B-man Graham 0727. Why? Just why? We don't know. Josie Thibber. Tobair, do you think Bravo would ever put Oceon pause? Clearly not. If it hasn't happened to this point. No. Yeah. They're not going to do it. Too many people watch it for whatever reason. From Lindsey Bucks, why is this now the real housewives of the orthopedics office? And didn't Ryan have this surgery last year? Oh, yeah. I think he did. I think he did actually. I forgot about that. But it's just one of those things. Like, oh, yeah, Ryan had knee surgery.
It's like, OK, great. Oh, this one's really good. I don't care when you guys get married by that. That's the other piece. I really don't care when Ryan should get married. It's your own investment. Or this for this or fucking whoever. Quite literally anybody on the cast, I don't care. From Terreen S. Fold. Sorry if I said that wrong. Shooter posted a picture of Vicki doing this. If you can't see my face, like with her hands under a chin. And the statement that Terreen said was, I'm going to use this picture in my front door window to keep solicitors away. It's a good one. That's funny. I appreciate that. Yeah, me too. Oh, yeah. From Megan Yehalla, 18. And my crazier was this a semi-good episode. You're fucking crazy. Sorry. Me, Gennia. Look, I'm happy for you. If you're probably Megan Yehalla too, I think I always do that. But sorry, Megan, you're nuts. Absolutely nuts. Yeah, but if you're enjoying, I'm jealous of you.
We don't want you to not enjoy. So if you are enjoying it good for you, that's got to be a much more fun thing than what we have to do. But yeah, M.Lo 1969, how much longer is this torture? No, seriously. Nine episodes, I believe. More. I believe there are 17 total or 18. Yep. Andre Drew one is calling someone trashy. The most most egregious thing, apparently. It's pretty real good. It is. Especially. It's nice. Yeah, I think especially the fact that it's like Heather, who you know, is like high society calling a trash. He's got to sting a little bit. But again, to Carmella's credit, I think that, you know, given her background, she's used to being prejudged. So I think that that's going to be the saving grace of their friendship. She's like, look, hard to before. Still sucks to hear. But we're good. Thanks for coming clean. Like that's all it really needs to be. It doesn't need to turn into much more. But it's going to. It's going to be a big thing for the rest of the season now, which we can only hope pushes them closer together.
And we get some fun scenes with them, or a fun duo that goes against Emily and Gina, like Heather versus Emily and Gina with a Carmella backup would be a lot of fun. Yeah, I can get that. Definitely work. Yeah. Well, end on this one from A. Smith. Didn't Tabor learn anything from that original Eddie bathtub scene? Apparently not. But I look at it again. We don't know what's going on in Tabor's head. Yes, we make the jokes that she's going to therapy. And she's learning things about herself. And there's things going on with Eddie. We are not that deep into knowing. Exactly where her state of mind is with her relationship with her marriage. So yeah, I think it's probably just something like I'm trying to save my marriage. And this is my show and my whole life is my career with this show. So I'm going to put everything out there. And I do think what we watched as uncomfortable as it was, I think it was genuine. And I think the Tamer and Eddie are trying to figure it out. Or Tamer's just trying to figure it out. And Eddie's got to check it out. So I feel for her. I feel bad for her.
But we don't have a lot to go off of with that. It just got thrown at us. It's like, what the fuck is this? No, it's less about the content of the scene and more for me anyway of like why now? Why are we seeing this now? I don't really get any of this. So I'm not really holding it against her in the same way that the bathtub scene was. But still, it's just bizarre. That's a good way to just describe the season. It's just bizarre. It's strange. It's like you've said it's more boring than it is bad. But I guess my confusion is what was the goal when they looked at the footage that they had of this season? It's like, OK, how are we going to frame this whole thing? Was there just nothing? So I don't know. Let's just keep throwing shit against the wall until something lands because nothing's landing.
