Why Dave Canales is retaining Ejiro Evero as the Carolina Panthers defensive coordinator in 2025

Despite having the worst scoring defense in the history of the NFL, Carolina Panthers defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero will be returning for his third season with the team. Panthers head coach Dave Canales stated that he is committed to Evero's defensive philosophy and to developing the defense to where he believes it will be in the future.
