Today on the music city audible we're going behind enemy lines for the first time this season talking to Jets fan Dan Handsys host of heat the call NFL podcast with Dan handsys and Mark Cessler to find out what it was like having Robert Sala as his head coach for almost four years what Aaron Glenn's expectations are this season and why Jets fans also believe that Week one is a must win game for them. This is the music city audible. Let's get to it Oh, welcome everyone to another episode of the music city audible a Tennessee Titans podcast presented by prize picks I'm your host Justin Graver full time NFL podcast producer for Odyssey and joining me as always the managing editor of Titan size Dotcom publisher for NFL draft on SI my co host Justin mellow Justin it's our first time talking to a guest from an opposing team something we plan to do every week this season now if we get to week 10 and the Titans are one in nine maybe we

Don't do that anymore, but we'll see I guess they'd be one in eight in week 10 because of the by week, but Yeah, this is gonna be a fun episode here talking to Dan handsys. How you doing today? I'm doing well doing well The behind enemy lines bring on a guest from the opposite team has been a staple like dating back to MCAs beginnings So glad we're continuing the tradition starting off with a bang the New York Jets in week one at Nissan stadium So who better to bring on than your good friend your mortal enemy a tender of your wedding Dan handsys Co-host of the heed the Paul heed the call podcast heed the Paul that's interesting the heed the call podcast which you Produce every single day for Odyssey, so glad we can get Dan on He's awesome. This is not the first time he's been here. This is at least the second maybe the third I'm not sure I've lost count whatever his contract says how many appearances he has to make on this podcast

He knocked one of them off today excited to talk Titans Jets with Dan Adoosie of a game as we both both of these teams play off bound for sure And he said and it was a good conversation with Dan lot of lot of Robert Salah How he feels about the Jets how he feels about the Titans you and I said off air maybe a spoiler alert He probably feels about the Jets the way we feel about the Titans and He probably feels about the Titans the way we feel about the Jets So this is gonna be a fascinating case study in who actually wins this game Yeah, do either of them look good. Do they both look bad? Do they even look like for me? I used to tell my partner Anna last year that going into every game I would like the Titans to look like they're playing the same sport as the other team That's a pretty cool low bar to set. We'll see which one of these teams. Do they both look like they're playing professional football? I can't wait to find out

Yeah, and for anyone worried that Dan's about to be way overly negative about the Titans He wasn't I think he's honest in how he feels the same way that we're honest in how we feel about the Jets But there are there are reasons for optimism and hope as well and Justin not I've been I've been saying this for like two More more weeks now that football is back But football is actually For real back to night when the Seahawks take on the Patriots in a Super Bowl rematch and price picks is bringing out their best Offer yet Justin. I've got a play for tonight I've been talking about the Sam Darnold free pick that he needs one passing yard to cash his pick Finally, I am using mine tonight and I'm pairing it with Jadarian price more than six and a half fantasy points. They're gonna get this guy the ball and Ramondrey Stevenson more than 11 and a half carries Travion Henderson is out Patriots are gonna want to control possession and control the ball

We all watch Mike Vray book running offense here intent not literally But you know what his offense has looked like in Tennessee So I feel like this is a pretty good play and I think the auto army should get in on it if they can Love the Jadarian price play especially new users who sign up for price picks will get a hundred and fifty dollars Instantly in lineups if they win their first five dollar lineup. That's right when your first five dollar lineup And you'll get a hundred and fifty dollars in lineups and guess what price picks is now available nation-wide So what are you waiting for lock-in for kickoff because everyone and everything is on price picks Download the price picks app today and use code CLNS to get that offer Justin just mentioned a hundred and fifty dollars Instantly in lineups if you win your first five dollar lineup once again Download the price picks app use code CLNS and get a hundred and fifty dollars instantly in lineups if you win your first five dollar lineup Price picks run your game. All right. We'll be right back with Dan Hanses

Welcome back. All right. We are super excited to welcome onto the show Dan Hanses host of Heath the call NFL podcast if you listen to this podcast and you don't also listen to Heath the call I don't know what you're doing with yourself Dan thanks for joining us today We're a little bit. We're sort of enemies this week, but that's okay. We can be friendly about it How you doing? We're enemies. That's that's kind of news I know our favorite football teams are playing each other, but I didn't know it became a personal thing But that will inform the rest of this conversation. What's up? Justin Justin the two Justin's Los Titans Ultimo podcast. I'm so excited to be here First thing of the show already Dan some people are calling this the game of the week this weekend That's that's what they're saying in the newspapers. Yeah Why do you think this season is different? We know why we think Titans are gonna be different Why do you think this year is different for the New York Jets or do you? I do I do think it'll be different for the Jets

I think that Jets have a real runway nailed it to be a respectable bad team or a Just a run of the mill average to mediocre team and that doesn't sound like High praise, but where the Jets have been and been languishing Coming off a year where I know a lot of people it becomes kind of a fog of war with the Jets It just all seems like one continuous joke and I think the Aaron Rogers season and the season after when Rogers came back and it all fell apart and solid gets fired Leading to him landing with the Titans like that's kind of what the greater public thinks about recent Jets history But that undersells how bad last year was under Aaron Glenn and not all that was Aaron Glenn's fault, but some of it was It was a bad roster with a terrible quarterback situation and a defense You brought in a defensive coach and then asked him to lead a defense that was be raft of playmakers of

Any kind so there was so many things that went wrong for the team and it felt so hopeless on on our show We play the jet kid as we call them Kensington Kensington the second Saying how he hated the team and he was a young kid and it like crystallized like how dark things had become So this offseason what feels different for the Jets is like they at least Have made it very clear. We're not going to try to go to in 15 and tank and get archmaning or whoever Next spring We want the Jets to be competitive and and Aaron Glenn should be very thankful that the organization went in that direction because it bought him a Another year and be now a roster that has some real talent on both sides of the ball I think the offense has more potential than the defense But I don't sleep on the playmakers that have been added on the three levels of the defense and Aaron Glenn doing what he should have been done last year Which is actually calling the defense which he's called his superpower

So put it all together. I think the Jets are are primed to be a team that could double their win total which May not seem Incredible when they went four and 13 or whatever, but it would be a big deal for a team that's been stuck in the mud for a very long time Three and 14 I think 14 yeah, because I hate this team there he is Can't play that The second for the context for our audience, but I think that it's really funny because we talked earlier on the show about how The Titans like there's a lot of people in Titans media who are calling this a must-win game for the Titans because it's one of the few Obviously winnable games on their schedule and I had a whole tirade about how calling a week one game a must-win game is a Ridiculous concept in and of itself But the funny thing about it is that in Jetsland the Jets fan base also is calling this a must-win game there was a whole segment on CBS sports earlier this week talking about how if the Jets lose this game It's an absolute disaster and I just think it's really funny how both teams kind of both fan bases at least go into this game viewing

It is like well this is a team we can actually beat so we better do it I think that both fan bases are sort of stuck in a place where they view what this team what what these two teams were Last year which was two of the worst teams in football both teams have had major renovations to the roster you just talked about how the Jets have added players on both sides of the ball Obviously multiple first round picks added as well three of them to the offense and defense and I just think it's funny like How we get stuck in our perception of last year where you know We know how much football can change in a year and to sit here and say is this is a must-win game like as a Jets fan Do you feel like for the Jets this is a must-win game? It's it's it's Close to it for Aaron Glenn The Jets is an organization no, but for Glenn it's it's really important and to your point the Jets and Titans fans Like arguing about like where they stand it's it's kind of like the two

Social outcast kids at the playground like fighting over who's more popular It's yeah, we're both in a bad spot. Maybe we don't we're not fully aware of how bad it is from the outside But for Glenn when you look at the Jets schedule If they lose this game coming off how poorly last season went and in an addition to losing this game You don't look good doing it Woody Johnson as much as he has invested in Aaron Glenn and as much as he likes him and he was his guy If they're oh-and-for entering week five against Cleveland and that's very possible given they're playing three playoff teams After the Titans he it could be a guillotine game against the Browns So yeah, I think for Aaron Glenn to show that he's not just all Big press you know press conference quotes and talking about a big game But then not backing it up like they need to win this game and Jets fans are I wouldn't say Jets fans are confident But they're they're going to be only a few spots on the schedule where you look at the rosters and you guys might disagree

But I think the Jets have a better team than the Titans right now and I also think that the Jets are catching the Titans at a vulnerable time I don't feel like The Tennessee Titans have their shit together right now and I think did I I just learned that the guy that wears the green dot was in a UTV accident over the weekend and and all the other Drama that's been around this team and and cam ward fighting with a YouTube guy and You could you could go on and on about this summer for the Titans and in general I have to be real with you guys. I'm just gonna keep it real in the trust tree here A lot of the Titans energy right now does feel like some Jets seasons of the not so distant past and it the deja vu Make sense considering you guys Hired the coach that the Jets fired and then that coach brought in a lot of his guys that were on that Jets team And you have a high profile former lottery quarterback pick that you're putting the eggs in that basket and hoping

Even though some of the early returns maybe are a little on the middleing side And it's just like I Look at the Titans. I'm like who am I scared of on this Titans team right now and based on what we've seen from cam ward Both this summer and overall do I really am I worried this guy is gonna carve us up on Sunday? Maybe I'm crazy, but I do think the Jets will win the game and I think it won't necessarily be because the Jets I believe the Jets are so good. I don't think the Titans are ready yet And maybe part of that goes back into I don't believe in Robert Sal and I never did Well, let's let's talk about Robert Salah because I think it's there's a lot of there's been I mean the Jets are obviously a high profile New York team There's been a lot written about Zach Rosenblatt just wrote another article about Woody Johnson and Aaron Glens relationship And what it was like with Robert Salah there and stuff and obviously I think you would know Robert Salah very well after he spent almost four years as the Jets head coach and We you and I have had conversations off the air on he'd the call about how you sort of think Robert Salah talks

Really well says the right things at the podium But then you get into the game and you know for Titans fans so far the only experience they've had is Hearing him at the podium and he's great at the podium. He always says the right things I think so far at least at the podium But what was the Robert Salah experience like from a game management a clock management timeout usage Challenges like what was that experience like as a Jets fan and like what can Titans fans expect from Salah? He profiled like in the best of times not that there was ever the best of times But another thing that's forgotten the reason why the Aaron Rogers Edition was so Exciting for Jets fans before the Achilles injury was he had really on the defensive side of the ball built something And they had some players and scheme wise he was someone that you you felt confident that the Jets were going to be in most games And then you just had to hope the offense could muster enough where you get a special teams player a big turnover So like that's the side of the ball that you could trust with Robert Salah

He he always struck me as a guy that Had the CEO thing down in terms of yes, he looked the part. He sounded the part He always had the good sound bite and But what would happen was the team never felt like it was ever rolling at the same time and the time he was there And then when the Rogers thing curdled and then when Rogers came back He didn't have it didn't feel like he had Rogers respect and it didn't have any idea of like how to run the offense He had Nate Hackett as his offense coordinator and that was not necessarily his choice. He got put in a bad position And also he got put in a bad position in the first place that his he was fired by Woody Johnson You mentioned the Zach Rosenblatt article, which was really enlightening which said that when Robert Salah got hired it was by Woody Johnson's brother Woody Johnson was in the Trump administration Overseas in the United Kingdom at the time and Woody never liked Robert Salah So he kind of I think that was a way to reassert that he was the guy

Woody getting rid of Salah's and I thought Salah got a bad rap getting fired the way he was But at this but at the same time I don't think any jetfan was like we just let Bill Bell check out the door So to long story short you know the defense will get better under Salah But he never proved that he could like be that coach that could either Set up the offense for success or help the offense on that side of the ball it was always a one-sided thing and And I think what you'll see and what might be get frustrating is that the kind of corporate speech guy All those things that kind of sound cool in the summer if If you're one in four and the quarterback struggling or this or that's not working those things actually then Start to grade on you because he'll keep dropping these lines That seem like they've been workshopped in front of a mirror and it's be like is this guy more substance than more flesh and substance The doubts creep in so I hope you guys don't get there with I've said it many times

I want the Titans and Salah to be successful. This is not a revenge game for the jets It should it's the other side of this it's for Salah But it's fair to have doubts based on his first run as a head coach Dan I'll give you the the Titans perspective on this and probably the biased perspective and I'm curious to hear where you'd push back No just being honest right like as an outsider looking in and someone who pays some attention to the jets Probably like you just pay some attention right to the Titans me not knowing everything about the jets What I felt was obviously you know defensive minded coach who kind of had that unit playing well as you just said Could never figure out the offense couldn't figure out the quarterback some of that you know as you mentioned There was some meddling involved with the coordinator meddling involved with the quarterback not a great situation Do you think this is a better situation or is it one that you bluntly you know blunt still don't have confidence in when We feel okay, you know he couldn't get that side figure out there in New York

What we like here as it he's got Brian Dable is an offensive coordinator He's got you know it's had a track record of success developing young quarterbacks He had some successes a head coach of another you know They want to road playoff game with the giant say what you will And also, you know not having to really make the quarterback decision because he's you know They cycle through so many terrible quarterbacks throughout his run there with the jets that he actually is inheriting You know a sophomore number one overall pick so when you look at the quarterback and coordinator pairing Doesn't it give or if it doesn't that's fine too is there any level of confidence that okay This is a lot better situation on the things he didn't manage well the offensive side the quarterback the coordinator This is a much better situation for many ever had I think it's a good point like the infrastructure is better with Brian Dable infinitely I think that was a good hire I think everyone agreed it was a good hire and you look what he was able to do with Josh Allen and you and you look at Cam Warden what what he brings to the field

You almost want as much as I say you want to coach that can head coach I can show the progress on both sides of the ball Dables a guy it's fully capable of running that side of things and then if if Sal can be the CEO and then focus on the defense You you could absolutely have something cooking there. So yeah, like that's the optimistic viewpoint And I think it's not on not unfair I think you one thing that also came to mind was I'll just to keep an eye on That would drive you crazy for a guy who preached all gas no break and all the catch phrases the jets Jets fans were driven crazy by the lack of discipline with the with the team and the amount of penalties That were piled up and for a guy who was very you know Quote-quote player friendly coach and a lot of guys are at this point It's not the way it used to be in the bill par cells buddy Ryan era, but like Keep an eye on that and and how the team does and maybe that was more just about that core of Jets players But if that carries over that points to again like his Leadership and ability to keep the the team on a leash to a certain extent. So yes, I'm with you that

Offensively I think Cam Ward even though he didn't like blow up the league in year one and he was putting a terrible situation himself he has a lot more upside and hope than Zach Wilson the number two pick when Salah was there and handcuffed by a bad young quarterback So you have a better prospect to work with here and yes a much better offensive playmaker I mean offensive coordinator and while I don't like go crazy about the skill players and we'll see with your your boy Tate but at the same time like There's there's solid players here nobody it blows me away on the offensive side of the ball and we'll see about the offensive line But like that's it's not like it's a offense. That's be reft of talent what Dable should be able to make this work Yeah, I that's kind of where Titans fans are at is if Dable can't make this work then what does that say about Cam Ward and I most Titans fans Feel like cam Ward's gonna end up proving himself as the guy But like the objective outsider viewpoint of that is like statistically he had one of the worst rookie seasons that we've seen in quite some time

Yes, the environment was bad like the context can explain away some of it if you're a biased optimistic Titans fan and The flashes of brilliance that he displayed are great, but he's got to be better and more consistent on a down to down basis And I think that's what Titans fans are hoping Dable can bring out of him All right the conversation with Dan will continue right after this break Welcome back on that note the Jets famously did not get an interception all of last year You've been making the joke on he'd the call that the new thing like that is carnell Tate didn't catch a pass in the preseason What a matchup here carnell Tate was zero preseason catches against the secondary that couldn't get in interception What do you think about that matchup specifically because as I tried to look at this game first of all I was texting with Connor Rogers earlier this week and One thing he said to me was like what do you even expecting from this game? And I said back to him like I don't know what to expect because both these teams are so different than they were

Last year as I'm trying to analyze it. I'm like I think this is a matchup the Titans can maybe win one of a few like talent Matchups I think they can win where I do think the Jets out match the Titans in most like position to position comparisons But the Titans receivers specifically against the Jets secondary like are you concerned about the Jets secondary or do you feel like They've added enough pieces with Mink if it's Patrick and Daniel O'Ponz and whoever else to actually like be better than they were last year Yeah, I think it's the weakness of the of the Jets defense. I love the Fitzpatrick move I don't know if he's still At the same level he was a couple years ago, but adding guys that are our ball hawks and they're and Guys that have had success taking the ball away guys that are more veteran-minded that was a part of what Glenn want to do They had a lot of young guys last year that didn't really know how to play the game and now they've surrounded him I think that's another I love the Demario Davis move for that He's 38 and also has probably already played his best football

But a total leader that you could trust to get these guys ready and get them in the right position I think the the Titans victory yet can come can come via splash plays And picking on some of the Jets cornerbacks, but I also I Like the Jets in the trenches in this game. I think David Bailey is gonna be the defensive rookie of the year I said that on he the call. I think he's going to make an impact in this game Germain Johnson who you guys have now I like Germain Johnson, but I really like the trade DeVandre sweat is exactly what the Jets needed in their interior I think Will McDonald on the outside With Bailey and sweat in the middle like I think they're gonna really challenge this Titans offensive line and and put Cam Ward in a situation where he's going to throw the ball quicker and with muddy lanes and That's how the Jets are going to survive on defense with this pass rush and I do think that's a good matchup for New York I'm curious for you guys how your level of concern

Slesh confidence in the offensive line of the Titans giving cam Ward a chance to attack downfield I'll go first Justin if you don't mind and say that coming into the offseason It was like the biggest area of concern about this entire team was like the offensive line could be the thing that sinks them And I still think if anything sinks this team this year It's going to be the lack of resources put into the offensive line But they get Austin Schloepman from New York played with Brian Dable They draft a guy in the fifth round for Nando Karmona who emerged and won the starting job impressed all throughout training camp and It wasn't really evident much in the preseason because they didn't play against any starters the first team offense played in two games It didn't play against a single starting player But in joint practices all the reports were that like wow this Titans offensive line is actually holding its own They're actually making room in the run game. They're actually protecting pretty well It's hard to say in a training camp practice where the quarterback can't actually be touched But I've come out of training camp Not necessarily feeling good about the offensive line But a lot more optimistic JC lathe them former seventh overall pick has been up and down in his career

Like the reporting out of training camp is that he seems to be ready to take the step and live up to his draft building Dan Moore is about his average as average gets at left tackle which will take at this point And if Karmona can be a Solid starter. He's probably gonna have rookie moments if Schlotman can be a guy who can sort of accelerate the installation of a new offense because he already knows it and help Communicate to everybody and then Peter Skaronski is the one guy that we all feel great about the highest paid guard in the league I like have some some hope more than I have confidence, but it's like cautiously optimistic Yeah, curious to see how this match up goes because my honest viewpoint is I Think the jets are probably good in the trenches. I don't know that they're great. I don't think Trading Quinn and Williams they had they don't really have an interior pass rushing presence ever since I mean, I know Joanne Briggs had a decent year last year as a rotational guy We know sweat as well as anyone gravers a great runstopper not gonna do a whole lot for you in the in the passing game

You know, Harrison Phillips David on man yacht. I kind of run first guys as well So not much of a pass rushing presence there David Bailey I agree. I think it'd be a phenomenal rookie pass rusher But can you maybe you know what one of the knocks coming out you could run the football at him You know when he was at Texas Tech They'll probably try to do that and give him some welcome to the NFL moments and try to frustrate him Not let him pin his ears back and will McDonald has never been able to stop the run really throughout his career Either he's kind of why he's been limited to being a rotational, you know, pass rushing type of threat I loved the moves they made like I think Kingsley and Iqbaray is gonna be a lot better than Most jets fans realize and I think they brought him into offset some of the Runstopping deficiencies, you know, Bailey and McDonald have Kingsley and Iqbaray is a really good early down runstopper They're gonna miss Joe aside from what I understand in this game probably not gonna play the other Yeah, the other free edition other Justin does Justin gravers Constant hook him horn stuff like is it is burdened some to this podcast as it is to

He's and it's frustrating when it's usually about average players Really about a fan that's like oh Joe aside to vauntry sweats two career sacks hook him, right? It's always there's always got to be some sixth rounder who's a special team or but Justin Tucker Yeah, we'll cut that one there Don't be As well so that's the other not to get into that but you know, you know, many kickers graver Trivia question how many kickers have the New York Jets cycled through this offseason Since letting Nick folk who led the NFL in field goal conversion percentage last year Letting them walk how many kickers have they had before we've played it down a football Mm because you're asking I feel like it's got to be somewhere in the four to five range I think we're at seven I think six or seven this off. Yeah. Yeah They brought in yeah Justin Tucker was just to work out but like young way coup was brought into look they took a look at him they took a look at uh

The they had a guy anders they thought it was gonna be yes Like groupie off waivers tines legend kade york was there earlier this summer some guy some I don't know if it's a real name Lenny Krieger Lenny Kray. I know he was there. I think it was a UDFA And I think there was one more I'm forgetting well Let me just like throw this out there because it the only thing that Does get glazed over about a terrible 2025 Jets season By dv o a and other metrics one of the best special teams units Oh, yeah, the century and like I would I you would think Organizationally and I know Nick folk is like a hundred years old But it's like if the one thing we did right was special teams. Let's bring back everyone including the kicker That just had the best season in team history But that's not even just a jet thing that's more like a league wide thing. They just always think It will be fine to Find a new kicker and then Cut to late august early September and you're scrambling to work out like a massage table

Sex past and it's like how did we get here and why are we here is because we just didn't want to spend an extra 800k to get Nick folk back in the building so If like the jets lose because they miss two field goals in an extra point It will serve them right because I think this will be a close game Gravers not the same conversation we had when we let Nick folk go like right before he went to the jets when he was No, he's an antenna see why Nick folk yeah, just like respect Nick folk. He's been doing it for a long time Maybe he's maybe he's like a monster in the locker room and everybody hates him I've never heard anything about that There there must be a hidden component to why Nick folk has been on every team in the league just like regardless of his talent level and durability Um, Dan we're gonna close with this first. I'm gonna plant something in your brain that maybe you I shouldn't or I don't know but uh The perception right now of Aaron Glenn reminds us in titans land a lot of how

Titan spans and the general media perceived Brian Callahan heading into last season was like well Yeah, he had a bad year, but the quarterback was tit will love a quarterback was terrible They got a new quarterback. He drafted him first overall. They've done made a lot of changes They went crazy and free agency like this will be This is Brian Callahan's chance to like go show that it's not a disaster He can just be a competitive like we're not asking to make the playoffs just go be a competitive team and Obviously they're different player different people, but like on each side of the ball a little similar I just wonder if we're gonna end up talking about Aaron Glenn be in the first head coach fired in mid season Especially you look at how Woody Johnson treated Salah getting rid of him after five games when they were tied for first in the division with Although the rose and black profile really shine delight on how that happened he didn't hire him. Yeah, literally what he didn't hire him and Glenn is very much the opposite um Uh If I'll let you finish though. Go ahead. I was I do wonder if Glenn taken a year to like understand all of the responsibilities that come with being a head coach before

Taking on the play calling duties himself will help him like be more like ready for everything that he's gonna have to handle But um that was just a little that's like a thought that I've had percolating. I wanted to ask you I share that on the show too like I just real quick on that like jets jets fans Despite what we've been fed by the beat reporters who have been kind of glowing in Aaron Glenn's off season as Him understanding he needed to reboot himself and handle this job differently From how he Assembled the coaching staff to how he dealt with the media But we're also very much of the mind collectively as jets fans that there's a lot of things to be more optimistic about But Glenn is very much a wait and see and it would not surprise Me at all if he didn't survive this season But I don't think I don't think it's going to work out that way. I think because To give you an outlier thing on Salah Woody bought the team in 2000 and Salah is the only guy who ever get ever got fired in season

It was something a little bit personal between him and Salah I remember thinking that Aaron Rodgers had something to do with it even though Rodgers always said that wasn't the case now we have more clarity on that situation Glenn probably gets the full season because that's how Woody Johnson operates and he was handpicked by Woody But I agree with you He has done nothing from what we've seen so far as a head coach to make us think that he is definitely was the right choice He did have a really cool sideline moment where Brian Kelly and never had so well He's also yeah, he's kind of like Salah in that like there are things about Glenn that you're like Yeah, he's our quarter. He's our coach, right like the way he carries himself the way he looks what he says at the podium But you just at a certain point you need to see more than just looks and sounds the part Yeah, um final thing this is what we are we've done this every year that Justin and I have had a podcast together when we have a guest on the preview a game You got a final score prediction for Sunday. I do we're gonna be talking about on heed the call

Yeah, I like I said this is not me thinking the jets are actually good. I do have a master's degree and and teams that are poorly run With suspects head coaches and high first round pick quarterbacks that may not be the guy Um, I think we're catching the Titans like I said at a time where they're still figuring some things out and I think the jets If they don't go down to national and win this game It's a huge indictment of Glenn and the coaching staff because I think they should be able to win this game And I think they will win this game 23 to 17 New York Jets over the Titans And the sky will not be falling for a Tennessee. I still think they have a path to being improved team this year But I just think the jets right now are a little bit ahead of the Titans in terms of development this season But who knows you guys could have like a friendly wager on it like something small You know like yeah, we get the other guys face tattooed on their back Or something small like full scale the whole back maybe what if the if the jets win

And I'll let you figure out the Titan side I get to rename this podcast because I have a new one. I just thought of Okay, just out of it now. Yeah, I just wrote it down um This just in so like this just in but this Justin Dot dot dot ellipses and the other one too And we don't know which Justin is Justin so you guys don't have to worry about who's getting top billing on this Uh, but you get that you're gonna get the snappy like this just in like it's a news and an analysis show And then you're letting people know there's two justins here And I think that is the thing that I've been hitting on from the very beginning That's a major hook of this show that the two hosts have the same name and look similar also by the way Let's be real take off the glasses in the beard Um, that's why I do it and the other one too These are in prescription. I just do it so I look a little different than him um You know they the You know they would probably love it our followers the supporters because we have this running bit where every time him and I are competing Will do like dueling mock drafts which one do you like better every supporter attends to comment

I thought Justin had the better mock draft. That was pretty obvious that we never know which one Actually won the competition Yeah, you're the argument. I agree with Justin um, yeah, well, we'll see which one of us gets to uh gets to draft this game on the heat The call preview show tomorrow and uh, you know to the audible army out there Let us know in the comments if you agree with Dan's prediction You're gonna get booed out of the building by our our audience. I don't give a shit Bring it on It's just in and the other one too just think about it or maybe if the the jets win you you won't have a choice Right. Yeah, or like we couldn't rename he'd the call Um for one week or something he'd the call with Justin Graver Oh A one week bet. I kind of like it um All right, thank you Dan That will piss. No, pisses. Sler off too because you will feel completely without A voice in this but uh, that's kind of funny

Maybe if the Titans win graver Dan has to remake that shirt and I want like my baby picture in the reflection of Mark's glasses Like very tiny barely noticeable But I want like one of my baby photos to be in the reflection of Mark's glasses All all on the table. We'll hammer it out. We'll get the lawyers involved and and get a contract signed before sunday 1 p.m. Eastern 12 sounds amazing. We'll call your people. Thank you so much as always Thanks, but check out he'd the call podcast.com for merch like the shirt that Dan is wearing check out he'd the call with Dan hands and We'll see on the other side of this Brassler. I'm gonna tell him again. You didn't say the well. He's not here today, but yes Maybe we'll get him for week. What is it week six Titans play the bronze? I think Another high profile matchup The actual must win game on the tightly scheduled because it's the only one that they'll the only other one that they'll be favored in this season

All right Dan See you later on. He'd the call All right. Thanks again to Dan hands us for giving us more time than we budgeted for I mean That you mentioned the contractual obligations off the top he was only contractually obligated for 25 minutes We did what 32 with him there.
