The list of evacuation orders continues to expand as wildfires rage in B-C and across Canada.

Meanwhile, Europe is battling fast-moving wildfires of its own. Fires have forced around 300-thousand people to evacuate their homes in France and Spain.

Also: The federal government has grounded Ontario's plans for Toronto's island airport. The province wanted to expand Billy Bishop airport's runway to allow jets to take off and land from there but it faced opposition from the City and residents.
