We are here. NFL week one starts this week. Already it came going on Wednesday night. I'm recording this Wednesday morning here on Pacific time. Pacific time and the good news is that this is a college show tomorrow is about the NFL.
I actually have a TikTok prop bet though for tonight's game. So if you haven't already, check us out on TikTok and you can see our prop plays that have been very valuable over the years. And a big return on investment we've had over the past three or four years of doing this when it comes to prop bets. I believe the fantasy football makes people good at prop bets as well. So I got a good one for tonight. Hopefully it hits and by the time you get the show, if you watch on TikTok, you'll know if it hits or not. On the other side of things contest week is starting this week. If you haven't yet, get to the circuit. It looks like the millions might have an overlay. Last time I checked it was about 4,700 entrants. That's a $1.3 million overlay. I bet you'd dare sweat that a little bit. I'm going to go to their website right now and it's not always updated. Just to check where these contests are at, I know that survivor went over and 21,000 entries, $2.1 million.
Okay, millions, 4.9, 4,900 and 9,000 on a guarantee, 6 million. It's going to be borderline, I think, for certain millions. Grand E-Cymil will be up to 58 entries already and counting. If you haven't yet, get with Vegas Maddie. Use the promo code OB for $50 off your proxy fees. Just a quick red item, Vegas Maddie back. Play a couple games and come back. Don't need that much time. Get out there and get in these wonderful contests that Derek Stevens puts on for us. This is about Kyle's football. We have a wonderful guest and Mr. Brian Edwards at Vegas B. Edwards from Vegas Insider to talk about some of the big games this week. He's a Florida Gator guy and an SEC guy. I picked a few SEC games to talk about and he has as well. So I'm excited to get into a little college football for the weekend and have a nice rebounding weekend from last weekend when a couple of things didn't go our way. We also have college football contests that we're in and if you haven't gotten in our
survivor contest at Splash Sports, make sure you check that out. We have the survivor that emulates the circuit double picks on Christmas week, double picks on Thanksgiving week. Now, of course, you can use any teams but it's the closest that we can get to match that and that way it could prep you for next year or have a partner to go in with this year's survivor pool. I also have a loser survivor up there. Pick the loser of every game. I did a couple entries. That's going to be a lot harder as it is tough to pick a same loser multiple times. There's only four really bad teams in the NFL as you know, possibly even less and we're going to find out about a lot of these mediocre teams as time goes on. So normally this segment, I would go over college football betting trends, ATS, darlings, totals, darlings but no, not enough info yet. We certainly do not have enough info to go over any of that information.
So without further ado, let's get started. Let's get our guest on Mr. Brian Edwards from Major Wager and Vegas inside. Thirty million dollars in guaranteed prizes cash in this football season in Las Vegas with three circus sports contest entries starting at $1,000 all with no rate. Thirty million guaranteed visit circus sports dot com for details. Now I'm very excited to welcome back an amazing sports better and great friend of the show
and Mr. Brian Edwards from Major Wager and Vegas insider. You can follow Brian on X at Vegas B Edwards Brian. Well, here we are. It's rolling. We have we have a full slate of football finally here. How you been? I've been good man. I've been good. Nice to see the gators off to a nice start. And you know, hanging 60 and change again like we used to do on the weekly. So my picks have been that great, but you know, week zero struggle week one better. If Ole Miss would have held on for that cover, it would have been a nice weekend. Instead it was a bad even. Yeah, you know, gators took care of business. People expected more out of FAU and less out of Florida probably. I mean Wisconsin played Notre Dame. There's not much we can do. It's fun for a half, but you know, it's just how it goes for my badgers.
Almost gaining them in yards yet losing by 28 points is kind of their mantra. But you know, we'll see if that, you know, they gave me a little hope though. So we'll kind of see how that ends up turning up. Man, we're going from week week one week zero week one now to week two. Did you learn anything different from those weeks? I mean, if I was going to say I would say Oklahoma State is not nearly. And I was kind of like, you know, I didn't bet their win total over. I was kind of like Oklahoma State, you know, I'm not I still don't trust them. I thought they were a little too high in the market. That's one team that look like shit. Yeah, no doubt I had the over in that game. What a horrible pick. So yeah, so that's kind of a theme in terms of these AAC quarterbacks. We saw Mestemeger and Byron Brown. I mean, I know Mestemeger was playing against a AAC team in Tulsa. It's coming the same league, but we saw. But Mestemeger and Byron Brown who who had seemingly had everything in place to have a seamless transition,
even though they were going up in class because they had their same office coordinator, same head coaches, same system. Both guys have Brown's got like five or six of his wide receivers and a tight end and his center. Mestemeger's got his running back and he's got several other players, but the main receiver Wyatt Young, I believe is his name, but they struggle big time. And so some other things. Let's see, Clubson is as bad as I thought. LSU looks a little more loaded than I was thinking, but maybe he was more Clubson's second and Clubson's offensive scheme, what a criminal hire bringing Chad Morris back to Clubson. What a just dab of thing to do. Oh, I was going to get it from 12 years ago. Forking dinosaur. In that perfect segue to overreaction week, you know, it's so funny. It's like, I got on three posts in LSU to win it all.
Miami in the final four. It's like, it's like, dude, these teams just played nobody's and I know Clubson was a somebody, but Vazena's horrible. And what's so funny is you got to gauge it like, was Clubson just that bad? Were they or was LSU just that good? I think someone who's careful probably wants to be like, well, you know, you're going to get over it. It's a big, it's like chunk of both for sure. I think there's a chunk of both there involved in, you know, what's interesting is now a lot of people would think that's a sandwich spot. I think it's a little early for spots, but now LSU's got to look to old myths, which is the big, big story of the year coming up here. So that's going to be an interesting game. Maybe we can talk about that. But what's funny is like, I think that there's overreactions and then there's proper reactions. Clubson was a proper reaction to me. You know, I'm not even sure if the marketplace accounts for how bad they really are, but I think Michigan sucks. I think Clubson sucks.
And I think Oklahoma State is way above their skis. Agreed on all of that. And yeah, Michigan was what? Favorite about two and a half most of the summer. I think it went to one and a half, talked about for the Saturday's game against Oklahoma. And then Michigan just looks like ass. And so now Oklahoma's five and a half, but some people might call it overreaction. I don't know if that's reacting enough. Yeah. I like Oklahoma. As long as it's seven or fewer, I like Oklahoma, especially that defense travels to the big house. I will say one thing about Notre Dame, who I had number one in my power rankings and I dropped all the way to seven. And I didn't do it just because the first half was closed. I just, man, I just don't know if I'm playing makeers offensively. I mean, I like car at quarterback. I just, I don't know. I just don't feel like they have the playmakers I was thinking they had. And so, yeah, I'm not as high on Notre Dame just after that one game.
We'll see. But as Malacca Tony, the best player in the country, I hope so because I bet him 41 when the husband. Yeah. Well, there you go. You know what's funny is that Malacca Tony, I looked at his high as minotids and of course they freaking dropped somewhat. They went to like 14, 13, 14 to one. Would you, what number you have? 40. Okay. So, and that's the thing. You can't bet him after he just freaking did three Heisman poses. I mean, the dude does Heisman poses first freaking touchdown of the year. Come on, dude. You know, I mean, I mean, talk about auditioning, man. I, I'm going to start writing letters to voters and stuff. I mean, posing after your first touchdown. Come on. I'm going to be a fan for it. If I didn't have a 40 to one ticket, I would be saying the same thing as you, but because I have a 41 to take it, 40 to one ticket, I loved it. I was saying, have to, he's thinking how I'm thinking. Let's go. Oh goodness.
Oh, save me, man. Well, yeah, I mean, there's some overreactions there. You got to be careful when betting on Miami on LSU this week. You know, you're going to be careful when fading some of the teams that got their asses kicked. This is probably a good segue also into Bilo, sell high. I'm going to sell high on Penn State. I mean, they played basically a tomato can. They had all seized into prep for this game. And I know, you know, coach comes in Campbell. That was just very suspect at Iowa State. You know, if he didn't beat those Oklahoma teams, those Lincoln Riley weird spot Oklahoma teams, he would not have nearly the kind of pull that he does now. He played a Marshall team that sucked. I'm sorry. The coach left Marshall, you know, I mean, it was, it's a situation where I just was not believing in Marshall. And, you know, I'm going to, I'm going to probably be on the other side of Penn State this
week. That's my sell high. You know, this probably qualifies as, well, I mean, I thought Alabama looked pretty good. I thought Kiela Russell looked good. So I guess it's, it's sell high on Kentucky. Kentucky, look, you know, they showed some life offensively. It looks like men's cheese probably the rest quarterbacks. It's Will Levis. They've had bad QB play last few years. Like I mean, I would, you know, I would think before last week's results that we would have Alabama minus 14 in this game. But Kentucky showed some life offensively. Looked pretty good. So the numbers only 10 and a half. So I think it's probably more reaction to Kentucky showing life rather than, you know, either way for Alabama. So actually, to be honest, I like Kiela Russell's rushing yards prop over 49 and a half more than I like Alabama. But as long as I can get 10 and I'll buy the half point if I have to, did I go into one
of our games just now? Well, we can keep doing that. That's fine. I mean, and I'm a spoke Tony Gibson's his second year here in Marshall. But man, you know, I mean, you know, it happens to these FCS teams. I am not going to give to Penn State too much credit. I'm still kind of going by the mile power rings. And if I'm going to buy low on a team is probably Oregon. Now, I'm not sure if I'm laying against Oklahoma State, but I'd probably taken the team total for Oregon. It's kind of settling around 40 and a half ish. Rushing into it. I'm going to probably jump in pretty soon here, a little Oregon team total before, you know, the public jumps into it too much. I think that, you know, the problem is that they're playing Oklahoma State, another team that really, really disappointed. But I'll buy a little bit low on Oregon. Right on. I'm looking at scanning the board for some other ones.
Well, yeah, that's Washington and Utah State both were horrible last week. I guess you're buying low on both of them. And that's the problem, you know, both Oregon and Oklahoma State, then here's the Oregon at like 7.5 yards per play against Boise. Boise had 4.2 Oregon outgained by 200 yards. That was just a misleading situation. Right. So that's, you know, Oklahoma State, they got punched in the face by Tulsa. They got punched in the face, man. And I'm, and maybe the score should have been a little bit closer. There might have been a little bit of misleading final score there, but it's still Tulsa. It's come out. Your Tulsa, dude. Sorry. It's, it shouldn't be that bad. I'm looking at what, oh, Georgia Texan. It's Tennessee. Yeah, there was a bunch of teams that were really bad last week. And Georgia Tech was one of them. They got rated by the gators with their OC, starting tied in, the starting center. Well, how about Brent T freaking going for a field goal up three with over two minutes left, just dinged dunk run, thinking moving up six and it's going to stop Colorado
in the final drive. What, what was that? That was stupid. Yeah. Yeah, a lot of people were criticizing for not using the clock at the start of the drive, where I honestly agree with that later in the drive, you know, once you get under four minutes, then I do agree with it. But there were a lot of people on Twitter seemingly just dissecting that whole drive. But that little drive started with seven and a half minutes left in a one possession game. I didn't really agree with some of that. But any new, I don't really have much more on the by by. Oh, it's cool. Let's go. Let's go into our six packet games then and start talking. You picked Arizona versus BYU, BYU's laying home chalk minus seven and a half with a total of 47 and a half. What do you got with Fafita against bear back my air? Yeah, I love BYU here. I love them preseason and the true freshman wide receiver that wasn't even one of their high. He wasn't even the top half of their recruiting class in terms of like, you know, the websites,
recruiting numbers and stuff, but they were raving about this kid in the spring and all all season. He proved to be legit. He's got a great name, legend, the class girl. And the hype was justified. He had three catches on three targets for 65 yards and two touchdowns. And he also had 16 rushing yards and one touchdown on only two carries. And if it had been a closer game, you know, he'd have got a bigger workload. But you know, the wide receiver room was the area of concern for BYU. Their defense is outstanding. Now one of their safeties got her and he's going to be out a little while, but they're still loaded on defense. I saw that Arizona's running back who got the eligibility. I saw something or he's going to be able to play this week. I don't think they addressed him out last week, but I still like BYU. I'd buy the half point from seven and a half to seven. And I decided to love this BYU team in general.
And I think they'll win by double digits at home this week. Bear Bokmar LJ Martin incoming. Yeah, I would want the seven for sure on that one. I just that for feet is that kind of guy that could get you through the back door. But you know, Arizona did get a lot of they lost a lot of defense. Lost lots of the pros. So that's an interesting one. I'm kind of holding tight on this one. I'm not saying I'm in a bet Arizona. Definitely not. I think BYU's got one of the best home field advantages in all of football. But I'm going to learn a little bit about this one. So I get you number on this one. I think I'm about five or six. I'm six. I'm six. I'm a little bit low. I'm a little high, I guess, on Arizona for some reason. I may have to this is going to be a big adjuster week for me. Well, I'm not. I'm not down on Arizona. I'm just high or higher on BYU. Yeah. And it is BYU. Is this a night game in profile?
I don't know if this is a night game. This I think this could be a big. Okay. Because it's lower down on the board, but I can check right now. Okay. You hope when BYU plays Notre Dame, that's going to be a night game, right? That's what you're looking for when that big when that big game happens. But I'm because it's mid October. You want it to be cold. Well, actually, Notre Dame's coming from the cold, but what? Yeah. You want it to be a night. Yeah. Yeah. They're coming from the cold, but still it's the away, you know, pro out at night is just, um, it's a 330 Eastern game. Okay. Okay. So it's not Notre Dame. There's going to be white. Yep. Yep. So that's going to be during the day. All right. Got it. So here's, and so I don't disagree with that. I think it could be a hover around that. But, you know, maybe if, if, if, if, if Fefita and this crew can't come back from what they did last year, um, it's going to be curtains, Southern Miss first, Auburn Auburn minus 33 and a half total 56 and a half. So this one's interesting because, um, and this is, I, I didn't, I didn't love
pushing the button on this because it's a pretty high total of 56 and a half. But if you look at that last week's game against Baylor, both teams played fast. Auburn was at 21 seconds between plays. They're in the top three, uh, for pace. They just couldn't punch it in against each other. Kind of one of those first time learning games. And I know the quarterback from South Florida, brown, right? Uh, he didn't, he did it byron brown. Uh, he just, uh, he, first game, goalishes first game. But if you remember, goalish last year, he played super fast. I expect him to play fast again. Southern Misses defense probably sucks. They got to play their own tomato can. They played fast too and they played fast last year. So both these teams play a very fast base. It's going to be warm in Auburn 82 degrees, zero wind, most likely no rain, Alex Golisch, um, coming, uh, for a little point revenge. I like, I like kind of getting on the other side of things the next week. So I expect a lot of points out of this game. I think Auburn's going to put up plenty over 40 Southern Miss. Probably gets 20, um, and Blake Anderson, if you remember, he knows that
a speed at the time. You know, he coming from our state and Utah, I'm thinking over 56 and a half in this game. Yeah, that, that sounds good. I buy that half point to the key number 56, a multiple of seven, but that's just me. I don't think you buy half points. I think we have that conversation. Yeah, it just depends. You know, I mean, if you're going to be that close to being wrong or right on something, the way I look at it with a total, yeah. If it's a spread of seven and a half to seven, I totally get it. Cause that's just way more often. But like on a total, if you're that close to being wrong, you might as well just be freaking wrong without paying an extra five to 10 cents to be wrong. You know, are you can like, you can be wrong and pay more, right? So that's not fun. But no, let's go. Kentucky's plus 10 and a half total 49 half. You already gave us a little intro on that. Yeah. So I like key on Russell over 49 and a half rushing yards. I couldn't believe when I saw 29 and a half last week.
I was like, oh my gosh. This is going to be the last number by far and I hammered it. So he ended up with 86 rushing yards on 13 attempts and one touchdown. You know, he'll face a better pass rush from Kentucky, but I think maybe face the face of the better pass rush might open up more lanes for him and maybe some even bigger play. So even though it's a higher number, I mean, obviously he had he had 86 last week. So that's much higher than 49 and a half. And yeah, like I think Alabama should be closer to 14 if not 14. So it's 10 and a half or 10 or I'd buy the half point of the key number 10. I like Bama and believe they're pretty good as a road favorite under the board. Let me check that real quick. No, they're not. Never mind, but I still like them. Well, there you go. Yeah, I mean, Kentucky's a fraudulent team. Your side of the old X divisions, right?
They used to be a pretty big side for Florida there. And Andrew's like, you sure you don't want to buy low and Oklahoma state? Yeah, I'm sure. I'm sure, buddy. He's messing with me. Yeah, Kentucky got no pressure on youngstown state. That's a great point too. So I think Alabama could be the truth this year. I liked how they came out with Russell and I thought he would look like every five star that he is. You know, so I agree with Ryan here. I'm waiting for it to see if it even goes down. I know there's some kind of like negative contrarian money on Kentucky that's been coming in. I agree with Brian on this one. And I might be on it. This could be a contest play for me too. I have this is at 13 and a half. Alabama. So yeah, I'm with you. I am on the side of the Bama. Let's move to the next game. I picked Georgia. No, let's go Arkansas versus Utah. Utah is now 12 and a half total 54 and a half.
This started at 11 and a half went up to 13 and a half down to 12 and a half. I have 11 and a half. I still like 12 and a half. So you can kind of see what I'm doing on this one. I mean, I find it funny that the markets kind of doesn't know how to price this game. Arkansas is kind of in that bigger transition year with new quarterback KJ Jackson who did not look that good in my opinion against Northern Alabama. I mean, it looked okay, but not enough. You expect him to light it up. Utah to care business against their own stepchild, but they, uh, they, they, uh, they, they, uh, they did at least blow them out. There's more continuity with Morgan Scally coming up and Utah because everyone was sick of winning him shit. And apparently after week one here, maybe, uh, they could have been right. You know, we'll see. There's still, I'm not overreacting too much, but that's very possible. Devon Damper did a great job last season. I think they should have been the team in the big 12 to fight against Texas Tech in my opinion. Um, this is probably going to be a statement game for Utah in my opinion coming in.
Uh, I don't like Silverfield. Um, this is a night game in Rice Eccles Stadium, my friend. Now I talked about Provo, but I think Utah might even have a little bit more um, to their night games. I laid it and I liked this by a couple TVs. Yeah, I agree with you. I thought Arkansas like bad last week, um, three turnovers. Um, never even, you know, threatened to getting where, excuse me, near, uh, the number and, uh, just a bad debut, uh, although victorious, but, um, they're, you know, they're playing an FCS opponent. Uh, Dan Pierle, great last week. Uh, yeah, I agree with you on, on this one. I think Utah's the play. All right. Let's move on to the next game. We got Georgia's Southern verse Clemson Clemson minus 20 in the hook. Uh, this gives me a bad memories of Notre Dame 20 in the hook. Uh, 55.5 is the total here. Uh, what do you think about this gross game, my friend?
Oh, I think the Georgia Southern is the play. I made Clemson 14. This team's really bad and look, we've got the quarterback advantage at Georgia Southern in, in Helton's past happy offense. He's got Max Johnson. Max Johnson. He was a starting quarter of it back at LSU, laid in the 2020 season. He started games at UNC Texas A&M LSU. I looked this up. I went through his game lock. This guy, do you think he's going to be intimidated by death Valley negative? He's played at Jordan Hare. He's played at the swamp. He's played at Kyle Field. He's played at Tiger Stadium Bryant. Danny bought him in way twice, Jerry World twice, Neeland, Minnesota's Huntington Bank Stadium. He started games at all those places. He's won at a bunch of those places. We got the better quarterback with Georgia Southern. And Georgia Southern looked good. Johnson looked good last week in this past happy offense that I think fits him nicely for his 18th season of college ball seemingly.
And he had a good game last week. Georgia Southern covered and Clemson looked awful. I like Georgia Southern plus the 21. I think they'll hang around just like Troy did against Clemson last year. I think Troy had the lead at halftime, memory serves. And I think Georgia Southern is going to cover 21 rather easily. Can I interest you in a little Georgia Southern money line sprinkle? Not against it. Not against it. What is that number? It's plus 800 at DK. But our friends at Fandall have a better number at plus 920. So go to Fandall sports and get that Georgia Southern number at plus the 920 there. Looking all pretty, I am 100% on board with doing that. And you might hear me talk about that in our beer bet banger section. All right, let's move on to the final six pack game.
I picked UCF first pit pits now minus 7 to 56 and a half. Now obviously I sent this out to members at a better number 8 and a half. But I'm it hasn't crossed the threshold yet. So I'm sticking with it. UCF is actually a better team than people think this year. It's frost. I know the frost had his only success at UCF, right? And he's kind of coming to here. I know Heinzschild looked awesome at pit. Now I was on pit. I laid 16 and a half with pit last week. I think this is an old. Yeah, that this could be a little bit of a reaction game. Maybe pits a little too happy with themselves for beating Miami of Ohio. UCF looked the part two. They blew someone out 70 to something whatever it was. And the Knights got a nice transfer at quarterback James Madison's Alonza Barnett. And Barnett, he let them do playoffs last year. I mean, he's a pretty good player. Frost returned some dudes ranking 29th and returning production. Last year, I was actually kind of surprised. They were actually plus 0.68 net yards per play last year. It's kind of like you never would have thought that UCF would have been that far on the
plus side of net yards per play. But you know that I feel like this is the quiet team nobody's talking about. I'm taking I'll take the seven. I think the line moved in my direction for a reason. I'm good enough with seven here. So I'll bring this up in our beer bet bangers. I've got Pitt as a part of a money line parlay with a pretty decent long shot pay manager. I'll just say that for that. I'm going to show you. Oh, no, no, that's perfect. We'll talk about that later just as long as they win by between one and six. I'll be okay with that, my friend. Let's talk some Hodgpodge then. I mean, we'll save Texas in Ohio State. All right, we'll save that for a few. We still got a few minutes here. I'll go I'll go I'll go I'll go. I'll go. I'll go. Go ahead. And you know, you don't have to lay the points for this bet because that LSU team total over 45 and a half.
You think so? LSU team total. Oh, they're going to get 50 plus. And maybe we don't have to worry about any backdoors or anything. And didn't a lot I think a lot of export 80 last week if I'm not mistaken. But yeah, you don't have to worry about what lots of techs do and offensively. Just team total LSU over 45 and a half. Oh, it was really surprised how great Levit look. Like I just, you know, we had the offseason foot surgery and man, he looked faster than I've ever seen him look. I thought. Or maybe clips is really slow. He looked fantastic. And they got weapons galore. I mean, my God, Kaden Durham's not in play. But he got three carries for three yards. He's got like seems like Kaden Durham's like more string. He's got had an outstanding freshman year two seasons ago. Yeah, they're loaded. They're loaded. Team total over 45 and a half. Team total over 45 and a half looks like Blake Baker got the starting position over Kukuk
at Kukuk for the bulldogs who move into the sunbelt this year. And, uh, let's lose the tech team was interesting last year. They, um, they're in return production for an FCS group of four team, group of 16, I should say now. Um, not great in the transfer portal, but yeah, you know, uh, I'm wondering about LSU. I mean, they got, obviously we don't really factor in spots too early, but they do have a big game on deck. Here's the thing. I think Lane is got such a big fricking ego that he's not going to stop scoring if he can. And, uh, I'd like the team total. I kind of like total over too. I kind of like the whole total of this game, you know, possibly going over and highly tech scored 80 points against Northwestern state. And I know Northwestern state probably sucks. I don't really delve into that so much, but, um, this is an interesting game. Uh, it is very interesting to me. I'm, I'm excited just to watch the first half and kind of see how it plays out. But, um, this LSU team is fricking loaded.
So I get what you're saying there. And I kind of mentioned I'm going to take the, uh, Oregon team total over. The thing with Oklahoma state is they play really fast still. They still mess the maker and, you know, coach over there. Very high paced, um, situation, right? Where they're going to just, just turn it up. And Eric Morris did that in North Texas. And they're going to have to try to keep up with Oregon, which is really playing into their strength, right? So, um, yeah, I think, uh, I think, I think there it is. And look at Andrew Northwestern state lost to an NAAIA school. So that's how bad they are. Oh, wow. Um, I'll put on another one. Um, and it's just, uh, and look, I, I mean, very old and did a fantastic job at UNLV. Um, but I, uh, Purdue was on Big Ten Network a little early. Was it Thursday night before some other games? Uh, it started and now I was watching it.
I just, I was not very, uh, impressed what Purdue had. And I know Wake lost a lot of good players, but I really like this guy, Jake Dickard and Gio Lopez. Look good, uh, last week, uh, in the offense. And, um, I think Wake minus three at Purdue. Oh, it's down to three already. Okay. Uh, even see a two and a half that, um, two and a half at, uh, I want that to count. She doesn't count, but, um, uh, you know, it's, it's, it's coming down. Um, I, I have this is eight and a half point spread for Wake Forest. I circled it as, oh, you love them even more than me. I guess. Uh, here's the thing. I, it's been coming down though. I, I had this, let's see what odds. It's opened up on this one here. I'm super curious. Um, well, it was, this says three and a half. I could have swore I saw it like at four and a half or five and a half. It's just four and a half on mine. Did it. Yeah. Well, there you go. Um, are you looking at Vegas insider?
No, I don't use them for anything. Yeah. Well, there you go. I guess from major, major, Mr. Brian Edwards. Um, I use wager talks on, yeah, they have a good one. I like wager talks. I think it's pretty good. Uh, I mean, I miss the old one. Vegas insider, but they don't have any anymore. Yeah, absolutely. Um, no, it's, it's good to see where the lines really open. What sucks about the action network is it'll have the line that opened up months ago, you know, and then it'll, right. I like to see where, uh, the lines open up weekly, you know, that's, that's better for me. To, uh, make better judgments here on what's going on. Or at least like, like, it's first game you can go months ago. But if it's second game, you know, I don't care about game of the year lines and what they had, I'm curious what the rating was last week and what the overreaction was at that moment. So, you know, that's, that's important to me. But you know, wager talks got a good one out there for, you know, some of these moves. Um, what about a little
Air Force hosting North Dakota State? I'll tell you this, that under is looking interesting to me. It's going to be 20 some miles per hour wins. Both these teams play a snails pace. Um, Air Force has got that triple option, you know, that, you know, could really run things out. The question is, do they have the defense to stop North Dakota State? I think they do after such a bad year last year, their defense kind of got better and better. They shut out, uh, Duquesne. Now it's Duquesne, of course, but still. Um, so it's, it's, it's going to be about their defense more than anything. But this 47.5 total could go pretty quick here. North Dakota State's defense shut out, uh, Fordham and only allowed seven to Jacksonville State. So the fact that they're on the road finally, first road game in Mountain West play, it's just kind of like ugly. I think it's ugly. Want to become a better, better. How about Marcel Reed over 37.5, uh, rushing yards? Because they're playing a better team. He was trying to stay out of harm's way last week going at 20 rushing yards. I hit a lot of his rushing yards props over last year and, um, yeah, I think you'll just be running more this week in general because it's a tougher game. And so I'll go over 37.5, uh, on him as another one.
And let me touch down score or props. Let's see. And plus one of five, seven, maybe a better plus for anytime touchdowns. I've never mind on that. There you go. All right. Like it. Let's talk some Ohio State then. Um, I mean, this game's massive as you know, I, I, I, this is Texas's revenge. The spread isn't really budged. I mean, both teams look the part last week. It's close to pick them. Billy Lieberton, I can go plus money on Ohio State plus 102 here at DK. Um, you know, I mean, uh, you got plus 100 in a fandal. My number is right here. Uh, you know, it's funny. It's like I have Ohio State as the number one team of my power rings, but how much are you going to give Texas for home field? At least a full three, you know, I think, you know, I don't, I don't, I don't know what you think, but I think that, um, I have a house state number one. I have Texas number three in my power ratings. I have a house state about three points better, very close to that.
But that's speculation as well. Still early. I upgraded both teams from last week. I upgraded Texas a little more than I did Ohio State. But you know, this is probably a live bet game to me. It's about if that running game can get going again with for Ohio State. It was a, uh, I mean, arch band and count came in last year as a first time starter. So was Julian Sand, but he went to the horseshoe. This is a little different now. And I can see Texas playing for some pride. I think you just live that whoever's down and it's going to be a lot of back and forth. What do you think? Yeah, no, I like your idea of live betting. You know, I wouldn't mind having either team, uh, plus five or six. If, if any team jumps out to attend nothing, lead in the first quarter or something like that, I wouldn't, I wouldn't be, uh, not be opposed to having either team as a underdog of, you know, five or six or more. So I'm not against that. Um, I slightly lean to Texas. Um, I don't know that I'm going to play it. If I play anything, it'll be pregame.
It'll be Texas, but it won't be, I won't be throwing a whole lot of my out there. Sure. Uh, I think both teams are very good. I think it's kind of a toss up game. I give the edge to Texas. I do give them the quarterback advantage, but I give Ohio State the head coaching advantage. But QB at home field or Texas. So I lean Texas. This total is pretty high at 49 and a half. I will say that, um, Ohio State was the second slowest team playing last year. I think they just don't like it and then races no more. I guess when Ryan Day was young, he kind of did, but, um, even the, you know, even, even Texas, they don't play as fast as they used to. Right? I don't feel like they do. Right. You know, I mean, it was a grinder of a game last year. That's for sure. But I mean, I think Arches come so far since then. I think the light bulb really went on for him. You know, an early November last year and I thought he played fantastic down the stretch. So, um, yeah, he did, he did play a fantastic down the stretch. It was against the easier slate mostly of the SEC, but still, um,
they should have lost a Kentucky. Under for me, uh, I'll lean under in this Ohio State. Verse Texas game, but I'm not betting the side. I would rather take like plus three and a half on one side as things kind of shift around, right? I think very back and forth game for sure. Jeremiah Smith's going to be fired up. You know, Ohio State's going to be fired up too. It's, um, in Texas, remember, this game took my, the playoffs last year. This game was the game to take them out of the playoffs, which is very key. Oh, that beat down. They took it to the swamp. Yeah, yeah, beat down. Beat down. We can't, we can't forget about the swamp, right? Brian's Brian's. I'll do another one. I'll do another one. How do I go over 56 and a half and Cal Syracuse? And I think we need to give Fran Brown Mulligan for that eight game losing streak after Angelie got hurt last year. When he said his QB1 healthy, he's 14 and four at Syracuse. Um, okay.
Cal's deepness did not look good. Very good to me last week. Got, look, they've got some issues offensively, but, um, especially the online, but, but Syracuse defense isn't on the level of UCLA's. And by the way, UCLA, they look really good. I think they're going to meet, they're going to exceed expectations, but I think we'll get a lot of points that the carrier don't, or whatever they all would call it now. I'm going to call out the carrier don't forever. But I think Syracuse, Cal can turn into a shootout, because Angelie's getting a couple receivers back. He's going to get the five star Cal and Russell back later this month. Or at least that's what Brown, uh, hinted at the other day at his presser. So, um, but he's got two water receivers didn't play last week. They're going to be back. And, um, I think we've got two very good quarterbacks in the Cal Syracuse game. So over 56 and a half or 57. And I'll probably by the half point of the key number of 56. I like it. Um, you know, Cal played fast. They played pretty fast last game and I just kind of gave it all up in the fourth quarter there.
But it was just one of another one of those. You she lay did look the part. They went on the road, tough environment won the game. Syracuse played a nobody, but they can put up some points there and, um, you know, doing a well good job over there. Syracuse, I think coming back here with, uh, Fran over there. So I think Syracuse, you know, pretty high in returning production to rank in 27th and returning production. You know, it's funny. These candycaps, you can't do too much with stats yet, but you can talk about, you know, some of the stuff you thought about coming in, they lost a lot of games when Steve Angelli was injured last year. So, you know, that's, that's pretty big to me. Well, that brings up beer bet bangers. And I kind of, you know, I'm, I'm sorry I'm doing it. I'm taking George's other. This could be just freaking curtains for dabble. That, that, that, that was, that was gross. And I, and you kind of took my cap from me. I was going to talk about Mac Johnson. You did a great job. Um, plus 920. Why not beer bet, banger, baby. Let's take that. I hear you.
All right, I'll give you a 14 money line parlay. Not nearly as good a payout as yours, but it should pay around plus 308. Um, that's Oklahoma in the money line parlay at Michigan. That's, that's Mizzou. I like to normally do home teams on these, but, but I, I think these two road teams are going to be good to go. Mizzou, which is that Kansas on Friday. Um, BYU at home to Zona and Pit at home to UCF. That 14 money line parlay. I'll give that plus 308. So, uh, yeah, like that. All right. Let's do it. There you go. Big money line parlay for big money, Brian Edwards looking good over there. Brian, thanks a lot for coming on this show. I know we're college, but plus 190 in the NFL and over 28 and a half Russian yards for Jackson dark. Okay. Uh, like that. And I like my guy, top, top hits over 43 and a half for seeding yards and the focus fits for a game. And, uh, and I'm probably gonna lay the points from UCLA minus 11 and a half or 12. Yeah, yeah. Why not? You see a lake look great and playing San Diego state now. Um, yeah, that Bob Chesney definitely made a lot of covers last year and beat up a lot of teams.
