A worried person SEES a problem.
A concerned person SOLVES a problem.
Worrying about things never fixes them, never changes them, never helps us in any way. Worrying about something - allowing the repetitive thinking to take over - simply makes us feel anxious and quite often, powerless, and will keep us stuck in the same old cycle until we make a change.
Being concerned on the other hand, means that we are taking responsibility for whatever we can within the situation, and taking some positive action to try and address it to either make sure the thing we are concerned about never eventuates, or that we can take steps to manage it, or reduce its impact.
In this episode of the podcast, you'll have an opportunity to reflect on how your worry can be shifted to concern.
