Ahmad Shamlou

Ahmad Shamlou was a Iranian poet, translator, and literary critic. He was born in 1920 in Tehran, Iran and died in 2010. Shamlou was a prominent figure in Iranian literature and was known for his poetry and translations of Western literature into Persian. He was also a vocal critic of the Iranian government and was imprisoned several times for his writings.
