Bruce McCandless

Bruce McCandless was an American astronaut and engineer who worked with NASA. He was part of the Skylab 2 mission and completed the first untethered spacewalk using the Manned Maneuvering Unit. McCandless is known for his expertise in spacewalking and his contributions to the development of the space suit. He is also remembered for his bravery in the face of uncertainty. In his free time, McCandless enjoyed playing golf and reading about physics. He is based in Houston, Texas.
