Dexter Filkins

Dexter Filkins is an American journalist and author. He is best known for his work as a war correspondent for The New York Times, covering the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. He has also written for The New Yorker and has won several awards for his reporting, including the 2008 National Book Critics Circle Award for his book The Forever War.
