Geographer and historian
Dr. Kuo Wei-Cheng is a geographer and historian with a specialization in Taiwanese history and geography. He has published numerous papers on the history of Taipei and its urban development. Kuo is currently a professor at National Taiwan University, where he teaches courses on geography and history. He is best known for his work on the cultural and historical significance of Taipei's natural resources, including sulfur and geothermal springs. Kuo has received several awards for his contributions to geography and history, including the Taiwanese Geographical Society's Award for Outstanding Contributions to Geographical Research. In his free time, Kuo enjoys exploring Taipei's natural landscapes and learning about its cultural heritage.
