Jia Yang is a Chinese astrophysicist and science communicator who has worked at the National Astronomical Observatories of China. She has a Ph.D. in astrophysics from the University of California, Berkeley. Jia Yang is known for her work on the detection of exoplanets and her efforts to promote science literacy in China. She has also been involved in various science outreach and education initiatives.
