Joe Mauer

Joe Mauer is a former catcher for the Minnesota Twins. He was drafted by the Twins with the first overall pick in the 2001 MLB draft. Mauer played for the Twins from 2004 to 2018, winning three American League batting titles and being named the American League MVP in 2009. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest catchers in baseball history. Mauer is now a special assistant to the general manager for the Twins.
