John Diefenbaker was the 13th Prime Minister of Canada, serving from 1957 to 1963. He was a lawyer and politician before entering politics. Diefenbaker is best known for his leadership during the Cold War and his efforts to promote Canadian sovereignty. He was also a strong advocate for civil rights and social justice. Diefenbaker was born on September 18, 1895, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and passed away on August 16, 1979. He was a prominent figure in Canadian politics and is still remembered today for his contributions to the country.
