Joseph Heller

Joseph Heller was an American author, satirist, and playwright. He is best known for his novel, Catch-22, which is considered a classic of American literature. Heller was born in 1923 in Brooklyn, New York, USA. He served in the US Army Air Forces during World War II and later became a prominent figure in American literature. Heller was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction in 1961 for Catch-22.
