Madeleine Dean

Madeleine Dean is an American politician serving as the Chair of the House Democratic Caucus and a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee. She represents Pennsylvania's 4th congressional district. Dean is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Pennsylvania Law School. She has been a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives since 2001 and served as the Minority Leader of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 2011 to 2017. She was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2018 and took office on January 3, 2019. Dean is a member of the Democratic Party.
