Mitra Khalatbari

Mitra Khalatbari is an Iranian music journalist and presenter. She has worked for Deutsche Welle since 2004 and has presented several music programs. Khalatbari has also written for various music publications and has been involved in several music festivals. She is known for her expertise on Iranian music and culture. Born in 1969 in Tehran, Iran, Khalatbari has a degree in music from the University of Tehran. She has also studied at the Berlin University of the Arts. Khalatbari has been living in Germany since the 1990s and has become a prominent figure in the German music scene. She has won several awards for her work, including the Deutscher Musikpreis.
