King of Castile and León
Pedro I of Castile was the King of Castile and León from 1359 to 1369. He was the son of Alfonso XI of Castile and Maria of Padilla. Pedro I was a member of the Trastámara dynasty and played a significant role in the Reconquista. He was known for his military campaigns and his efforts to consolidate power in Castile. Pedro I died in 1369 at the age of 30.
