Peter Slezkine is a Russian-American historian, author, and professor. He is known for his work on the history of Russia and Eastern Europe. Slezkine has written several books, including 'The Jazz Age: American Music 1920-1950' and 'The War Against the Soviet Union: A Military History'. He is currently a professor at the New School for Social Research in New York City.
