Pope Leo XIV was the Pope of the Catholic Church from 1655 to 1667. He was born Alessandro Aldobrandini on March 29, 1610, in Rome, Italy. He was a member of the Aldobrandini family, a noble family in Rome. He was elected Pope in 1655 and served until his death in 1667. He was known for his conservative policies and his efforts to reform the Catholic Church.
