Robert Mueller is a former director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and a former United States Attorney for the District of Columbia. He served as the director of the FBI from 2013 to 2017, during which time he led the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election. Mueller is a graduate of Princeton University and the University of Virginia Law School.
