Werner Sombart

Werner Sombart was a German economist and sociologist who is best known for his work on the history of economics and the sociology of capitalism. He was born in 1863 in Konstanz, Germany and studied economics at the University of Freiburg. He went on to become a professor of economics at the University of Freiburg and later at the University of Berlin. He was a prominent figure in the development of the German economy and was known for his expertise on the subject. He was also a prolific writer and published numerous books and articles on economics and sociology. He died in 1931 in Berlin, Germany.
