I'm Ryan Warmeley, joy today by a whole bunch of people to do some mock drafting here. We are week and a half-ish out to a couple of weeks. We're getting there. The football is upon us, Steve. There's no other way to put it. We were talking before the recording here.

1:00It would be untrue to say it's snuck up on us, but it really is looming here in just a couple weeks. Yeah, I'm trying to get all my reps, you know, get as much sleep as I possibly can. This kind of feels like for all the parents out there, this feels like the countdown of like, you know, having another kid or having your first kid where you're like, okay, sleep-asides are coming. I know it. So I'm trying to get as much sleep as I can while already trying to get ahead of the work for the primer. I'm actually going to do it this year and be actually about it and talking myself into it and then procrastinating. So the work has already begun. And you were just talking about that with our big guest today, Rich Rebar from Sharp Football Rich. You are also getting ready here for week one and getting those previews going. Yeah, and this has been the longest training camp in NFL history. Obviously with the season starting a week later and it's felt that way. You know, this time of year, I'm always after we have like several months of all of us, the echo chamber, everyone kind of thinking about things from like a long view perspective.

2:01I'm excited to actually like talk about things on like a micro level and talk about matchups and games and in those types of things. So I welcome the transition outside of like they said the sleepless nights. Tara, the draft season has been long. It is not over yet. We're due to mock draft today. Superflex mock draft. How are you feeling going into this one? You know, I'm glad you guys told me it was superflex when I selected it. I was like, Oh, you know what? I'm going to challenge myself and pick from pick four and see, you know, what kind of build I've got now it's superflex. I'm like, OK, let's see. It's going to be fun though. I'm excited. I can probably take the same strategy of going a little bit different. We'll have some fun here today. Just a reminder for everybody listening that all of our 2026 consensus rankings and tiers can be found at fantasy pros.com slash rankings. I'm going to go ahead and unpause the draft here. We'll get going. I have the first pick. It's easy for me picking on the ends. So we got a 30 second countdown here. I don't really need 30 seconds. 101. It's superflex. I'm not going to over. Marjacks. No, I'm not going to home. I'm going to take Josh Allen the correct pick. Just the combo of safety and ceiling. People don't need me to sell them on Josh Allen number one. So I won't bother doing that. Rich, if you were picking 101, would you have considered going in a different direction from Josh Allen or is it just too obvious of a pick for you?

3:16No, I think my superflex is philosophy is basically Josh Allen if he's available. But I will say after that, like I will just take one of these two running backs that'll be left over here. I'm picking third in that range in area you like to be in in a superflex draft for that reason. Don't you're going to get one of those two running backs in all likelihood? No, I honestly pick pick three because I didn't realize the superflex. See there. And I've been workshopping like a take on why you should take CMC third. And I didn't get a chance to run that through. But in here. So superflex in general is just you know your room better than anyone else. If you've been in a draft, you know how aggressive your room treats quarterbacks. I'm in two ongoing superflex drafts right now. And I know that the gamers historically let quarterback slide. So you can get a little more aggressive with other positions. But you know if this is just going off like QB rankings or the consensus poll, I'll know I have to get in on quarterbacks sooner than later with you know right away. You see three of the first five picks being quarterbacks. So I often make up some ground. But I definitely like the idea of of getting like that pocket of QB 12 to 20 maybe two or three guys in that range.

4:22Tara, you go with a quarterback at 104 picking one spot right behind. Rish, you go with Lamar Jackson second quarterback off the board. Is that an easy call for you if you're going quarterback. You consider Drake May or another QB. No, it's definitely Lamar is my QB to I love Drake May, but just the rushing upside is what separates Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson into a little bit of separate tier there from Drake May and Joe burrow. I assumed that our second drafter was going to go with Lamar. And so I too would be able to go that route of rich with drafting B. John right there, but did not get him. That's okay. So we're going to go with Lamar here and see what we can do from there. Debron the clock here at 108. He's been all quarterbacks outside of this. We were going to go in two and three. So do you pivot here, Debron off a quarterback strategy or do you say you still need to get one? This is this is the problem that encompasses superflex. It's like do you play chicken with quarterbacks or not with. I'm going to go Pukka Nuku and just see how the board works out for me. I can make a case for going quarterback going with Puka here.

5:26We see another quarterback go right behind me and Jalen hurts like so maybe I look back on this pick and hate life, but we shall see. Rich if he's going to go away from quarterback here, do you agree with Puka? Would you got to mark chase if you want to pivot off the position. I think it's more or less dealers choice. I do prefer chase just from like the touchdown insulation where we've seen Nuku over the course of his career. Not really run super pure and touchdowns even last year in the games he and Devon the Adams played. I mean, he was massively out targeted in the red zone and end zone. But I don't really like it's very minor minor quibbles and split hairs. Chase goes here at the 110 so far just to recap first 10 picks Josh Allen, Jameer Gibbs, B. John Robinson, the March Jackson Drake, Mejo, Burrow, Jaden Daniels, Puka, Nuku, Jalen hurts J. Mar chase, JSN goes with the 111. So we have a team up here with the 12 pick. It will be through the round one fairly straightforward here. I would say for a superflex draft. I think it's really interesting rounds two and three in superflex when you start to see some of these names that are going very highly in a 1 QB draft are still on the board.

6:28In the late second early third starts to get pretty fun taking a look at the names that are available there. D. Bro when it comes back to you, I assume you've got quarterbacks or gold. Did you win in a different direction with your first pick? Yeah, I probably will go with a quarterback. It just kind of depends on who's on the board and how far do I want to put another round because I feel like kind of like after you get outside of the top 11 top 12 quarterbacks, guys with upside rushing ability. And it's more of a flat tier than I can make more of a case to put it down the road a little bit farther, but the board is kind of working out in my favor. So I will go ahead and take basically discount Joe burrow. I'm going to take that press God here in my second round pick. That going there parrying him with Pukinakua for you, D. Bro, Rich, I want to hear because Christian McCaffer just went to a four. I know this is super flex, but I want to hear your case for him as the 103 to 1 QB format. Yeah, as we've reached the kind of 11th hour of drafting the boards have started to take shape like based on draft slot and you know the a lot of the gamers are picking one and two, which is usually Gibbs, Bison Robinson are swirving to almost like an anchor, almost flex build.

7:35But when you do pick three as am I the clock here. So let's see. Yeah, I'll make my pick. I'll make my pick first. But you know, when you get to pick three and you were getting Pukinakua or Dramar chase your flavor of choice to open year, you were still able to get an RB1 early in those drafts and round two and that's really dried up. There's been like an arms race to the top 12 running backs this year. And typically when you come back up on pick three or almost swirving their direction, we're just the best players are available in rounds two and three and then four and five or wide receivers versus the running backs. So I like the idea of you know, I get it McCaffer is not for everyone. He comes with red flags, but we know he's the one player that can rival the archetype of the two players at the top and you can take Christian McCaffer plus receiver receiver receiver running back. You just have more flexibility and I've liked my roster's a lot more going in that direction. So I was going to throw that out there and workshop from there, but well, Rich is on the clock again here with three or three. Tara, you're now on the clock here to 304 Lamar Jackson, Safe Want Barkley, your first two picks. What direction are you going here? I'm going running back again. This was tough because I'm looking at Brock Bowers and he's looking at me and I think that would be a nice little fit there. But I still have one of my key targets.

8:47So I like to take a swing on with upside it's the Von H and so like him moving forward here took Safe Want Barkley. There's more steady volume guy know that people have concerns about the Eagles offense, but overall we know that this offense as they try and figure out what happens with this past game, the new receivers that they've added. They're going to lean on Safe Want Barkley and I like him for a bounce back, especially coming off of a year we had a down year in terms of production to compare to that 2024 Super Bowl year. So pair that up as a safer pick with a higher risk high upside pick and I got potentially two top five running backs there with Lamar Jackson. So not mad at it. Bowers is always so hard for me to pass up what I'm picking at that two three turn area and I don't like my teams as much when I take him. So I'm trying to not do it. But man, do I just believe in the player and so excited. You know fits has done a lot of shows talking about his really high expectations for Bowers is here he goes to the 309 in this mock draft. Debra passes on him taking Jackson Dart to pair with that dress got a quarter back here. I know it's been a very common target of yours, Debra.

9:52Yeah, I mean, it's it's sealing on floor with the rushing and everything that goes with Jackson Dart. I mean, you take the Minnesota Vikings game away. We're discussing a guy that was the QB one fantasy points per game. The only thing guy that was rivaling him like I mean, he was producing outside of that one game. We're only scored one fantasy point. He was out producing Josh Allen on a per game basis. So go on with Jackson Dart here felt pretty good. If he would have been off the board, I would have punted quarter back another round. So, you know, feel pretty good about the quarterback rooms so far. Yeah, I've encountered but a lot of quarterbacks off the board here already. Obviously Kyler Murray just goes at the four. Oh, eight Tara on the clock here. She's got one quarterback right now and gets the pair with Lamar Jackson and Zay flowers here. Tara, we of course at fantasy fest talked about Zay flowers as a potential league winner this year. It's a player you're all over. Yeah, well, when you're over over the next week can get you on TMZ. But I first of all can't resist pairing up and getting the nice little stack there with Lamar Jackson.

10:54Ideally, I probably if Kyler Murray did not go, I would have maybe reached for Kyler Murray right not even reached but grab Kyler Murray right there. But given the fact that there is a nice little tier after I think I can push quarter back back a little bit to cure my wide receiver one. I was planning to take my second quarterback here at the turn and that was going to be Jordan love. Rich takes him at the four 10 instead. Rich, are you buying into the, you know, especially with all the Josh Jacob stuff, really this week, I'll let you make your pick here. But I want to get your opinion on this offense and how pass heavy you expected to be with Jordan love this year. Yeah, I was already ahead here on Jordan love and the Packers passing game. I thought they were a team them in the Buffalo bills. I think are two good teams that I think are going to throw more this year. Even with even outside of the Josh Jacob stuff, this is the weakest green Bay offensive line airing year they've had. We don't know when Michael Parsons is going to be Mike of Parsons again this year the front seven looks pretty shaky for the Packers. And they're going to have this concentrated, you know, pass catcher room, which they haven't had the past couple years. I think they're going to play a lot more 11 person. They also have a fantastic schedule.

11:57You have a really tough week one game on the road of Minnesota, but they're like games like jets, Falcons, potential shoots out shoot out scents, Bucking Ears, Bears, fantasy playoff games against the dolphins and bears as well. So yeah, I was already pretty high on Jordan love a really efficient player. I think it's going to get more value this year. Tara, most teams are about five picks in at this point. You take a mecca, Buka with your most recent pick. Is there anybody's bill to you sort of like the core of their team most so far through five rounds. You know, I do love I love the Jane Daniels Trevor Lawrence pairing in the first round by Mac. Also love the one at the turn with Caleb Boyam is Justin Herbert, then doubling up at running back in the fourth and fifth with Ash and Gentian Travis ETN. That's a nice combo there in terms of two receivers and also grabbing the wider saber once. So yeah, I think I leaned towards that any given Monday, but I always enjoy those picks at the turn teams on the back end and capitalizing on running backs. It's funny how we switched to super flex, but you can still capitalize on the kind of mid round area high end safe options for running back.

13:04Definitely, Debra, do you have a favorite build to start? You're on the clock here also. I, I mean, I really like Rich's high T build. I want I'm so curious of how Rich's team turns out at wide receiver and apparently I'm just all in on Cowboys right now considering I've got tack Javante Williams falls to me. And then I was really hoping David Montgomery fell to me. He goes the pick right before me. So I'll just take Terry McClure and kind of finish out a strong three wide receiver kind of hero running back build so far. Yeah, I'll let Terry and Rich make their back to back picks here. I really like Watticus. Jameer Gibbs the 102 CDLM 211 still gets Brock Purti in the third round of super flex. And then the upside I think of Devonte Smith and Jalen Wattles really nice. So that wide receiver room is really strong and has the hero running back. If they can pull off a second quarterback, then then I'll be really impressed with that team. I think Rich, while I make my pick, is there a favorite build that you see so far on the board? I mean, yeah, I mean, I like my team a lot. So I'm going to support my no, I think in the back here, I like the Jamar chase. I'm on raw start and then you know come back with my homes and Stafford and they get Colson Loveland and Jeremiah love. You know, they put some day other here at RB two. That's a team that could be fun and have a lot of upside.

14:22Because I think when you pick at the back and super flex leagues, it's hard to chase what the teams have done in the front, right? Like you're you're not going to chase the run down the Josh Allen draft. After by doing the same type of team structure that the Josh Allen draft or did because they're already ahead of you. So I love that approach there in the back. Terry, you go with Daniel Jones as your second quarterbacks. So you're buying into a healthy bounce back here for Jones. I am. I'm going to select Parker Washington here real quick, but yeah, yeah, buying into Daniel Jones with the bounce back. It might take him maybe four weeks or so to capitalize on getting the mobility back and feeling good and comfortable. But I'm good with the fact that we have seen him fairly early in training kit. It's not as if he was pushing up towards question marks. Like let's say the Michael Pinnix, right? That would make me uncomfortable if he was a target. He's not. But if he was a target that timeline for his injury would make me uncomfortable leaning towards him as a quarterback coming off of an injury. But we got enough of a gap with Daniel Jones. We saw the upside that he offers his ability to take advantage of his weapons, the rushing upside that he has touched down opportunities on the ground as well.

15:29So for your last call at RB and quarterback for your QB 2s that Daniel Jones is the one that I would like to target once you get past all of the Kyler Murray's and Bakers and Malik Willis. Rich, you've obviously gone wider receiver back to back picks. Do you get nervous waiting so long in the special 12 team league where you start three receivers waiting as long as you did at wider receiver. Not so much here because it's half point PPR and I know I can kind of just like touch down equity at the board, which is kind of what I did with Christian Watson and Mike Evans, like guys that are made for half point PPR. Like they're not going to give you a lot of eight for 75 games, but they're going to give you a lot of potentially, you know, four for four for 80 and a touchdown games are five for 70 and two touchdown games. So in the half point PPR, I really wanted to just kind of go running back forward. And so we'll see what we can if we can land the plane here, but I think there's a couple of guys here that I think also felt the half 50 half point touched on upside builds here to for wider receiver that are left. We'll see what we can see we do.

16:32Debra one pick away from your next selection, you took Jonathan Brooks in round seven. Obviously, somebody that we've talked a lot about that at every show has talked a lot about this whole summer. It's super flex, you know, back half of round seven. Is that feel to you like, oh, you got a great value. Are you more just like, oh, that's about market rate. And I'm feeling good. What's your reaction to taking Brooks there. Feels like about market rate. I mean, I think he's going to go anywhere like round five, round six and a lot of your regular, you know, one quarterback drafts. I think looking at especially the build of this team. I needed to like even him versus some other guys on the board at that point, like Travion Henderson, like, what do you think about him, Basel Tutin, who's getting the goal line work. So I think Jonathan Brooks is going to be the guy in Carolina. So especially looking at it like building this team backwards going more wide receiver heavy and now kind of like slamming running backs, getting Jonathan Brooks. And then I go with March on Lloyd with my next pick and taking the upside swing with him. I feel pretty good about the running back room where I was kind of like, I don't know how it's going to work out.

17:36Yeah, Tara, where are you taking March on Lloyd with all the Josh Jacob stuff. I was taking him at that pick deeper. So thank you on that one. Yeah, this is this. I mean, superflex, you know, account for it. I think round six is perfectly fine. Once you, if you once you get past those guys who are clear locked in RB ones without a question or at least, you know, like committee guys that at least have the one A or at least high upside. I'm okay with then taking a, taking a leap of faith. We know that there was Caleb Johnson added in perhaps he becomes something but at the end of the day. The Packers have vocalized that they do believe in March on Lloyd. So if he can stay on the field, I do think the job is his. Rich, you make your third quarterback selection here with CJ Stroud. I was between him and Sam Darnold when I was making my second QB selection. I felt very torn on action more torn than I kind of expected to when I was actually on the clock here. Do you prefer Stroud to Darnold or would you have gone Darnold if he was there? No, I actually think Stroud is kind of this year's Darnold in a sense. I know I've talked to Debra about this. Like he's I'm giving Nick Kayleigh one more chance. I know he's not.

18:44I'm giving him just one more just to see just to see with the the better offensive line and I thought would you know a month ago looked like a healthier wider see a room but I still think you know Nico Collins in the addition of David Montgomery. I want to at least see if he does some of the pushes some of the easy buttons that I wish that they would have pushed last year. I'm very much buying in on Stroud about in real life football. I'm a little more uncertain about you know how much of a target I want to make him in fantasy. I think I would have taken him at that spot if not for the Jaden Higgins injury. That was enough to kind of sway it for me. But I still see them is pretty close there. Actually, Rich, I do want to circle back to get your opinion on Marshawn Lloyd as well, just because I do think it's going to be a really compelling case to see where his ADP ends up with Josh Jacobs now missing in a determinate amount of time. I think he belongs on the surface at least in that bucket of kind of unproven players that don't have a huge sample of the Jerry and prices the basal two ends like you know good offense if things were to work out obviously is their risk. Of course there is.

19:47But that's why the running backs are priced that way like around like that RB 20 to RB 25 range. I mean, Malflowers consistently produced running back points. I mean, this is a prospect. I like to coming out. I mean, never had a huge workload in college at both stops but good after contact player can catch the football pass protection remains the issue probably the biggest question mark. I think we'll see Chris Brooks play long down a distance stuff. But it's the shani hand coaching tree like if you're going to have one spot where you can just throw running backs at the wall like this would be the system right. Our town is small taters by most standards right but to the people who grew up here it's everything. I mean, I felt like the QB three market was kind of like it was Geno and then I don't want to get stuck with Jacobi Brissett, Aaron Rodgers playing the Raiders game or the Falcons quarterback game or the who's starting for the Browns for the full season.

23:59So I felt like he was the last guy where it's like, okay, he's going to start all the games at this offense outperforms expectations, which they've got the skill talent to do it in the offensive line infrastructure. I feel like he was the last guy of, okay, I feel okay about QB three versus just going to wait and see what happens. I'm a clock here, Rich, for not the first time takes the player that I was planning on taking and I've got a pivot. It's a good pivot. Yeah, you know, I'll see you're obviously, you know, with Jeremiah love ankle stuff going on, you know, having an early season play and maybe even throughout the season gets some more run than you would think given the Hydraff capital spent on Jeremiah love and the Jonah Coleman just an upside in a backfield where a there could be a lot of opportunity, you know, assuming another JK Dobbins injury, which has happened every year of his career almost. And also just a player that Sean Payton has talked up a lot of player I liked watching at Washington. I had him in a camps the Canton league. So I was a fan of his in college and just think he's a good player and can imagine the fit being pretty nice in what I think is going to be a good team that wins a lot of games and Denver. So going back to back running backs there.

25:12Rich, you go to George Kiddell. He's been a favorite target of mine when I wait at tight end. It feels like it'll be pretty easy to, you know, pass pass through the first couple of weeks with whoever you need to pick up for whatever time he's not playing and then you're getting this great player back on the field, hopefully relatively soon. He's great to pair with like a guy like I say, I likely whose you know, could get a little bump while neighbors is getting up to 100% same thing with Juwan Johnson while Jordan Tyson's out. So he fits a lot of guys that could have like a hotter starts to the kind of nurse you along to the bridge where Kiddell's up and playing, you know, 100% and hopefully 100% for us this season. That's the other thing that does come with Kiddell is yeah, he could get back on the field for this thing, but when's the next shoot drop for George Kiddell. And then the other pick that you make here in those last two Casey Concepcio and the player that I was targeting myself. I know a favorite of D. Bros. The question is the quarterback situation, but I think the players are really good. He I'm probably not as worried about I mean, you would love the quarterback to be good. Obviously, but he the way he's going to be utilized. I think he's going to be utilized a lot like rookie year jail in Waddle where like he's just given so much like free squares and easy targets.

26:23I could really see a world where Casey Concepcio runs like 100 plus more routes than the next closest rookie wide receiver could even flirt with maybe 90 to 100 receptions to it doesn't help me out here and a half point PPR. He's not necessarily geared towards the scoring, but I felt like if I didn't take him there, I wouldn't get him. Terracal Menongai dealing with his own injury stuff. I play who I really liked earlier in the summer and I still definitely do like once he's back on the field just there's nobody really in the NFL who's running game designs and play calling I trust more than Ben Johnson and I think the bear is going to be really good in his second season running that offense and I think Menongai is going to be really valuable once he's back on the field. Same and I love the discount that we were getting on because we got to remember when he was healthy, this was a guy that was going like back to back with like Korum so if you look at where Korum went and round nine. Make that gap all the way to where we are picking him that is significant value for a guy that you're not even going to need immediately right off the bat. You're on the clock here again Tara D. Brogo and Romeo dobs and Mike Washington obviously playing into some of the uncertainty with Ash and Gentie there with the Washington picked you see significant upside for Washington in any games that Gen T misses or is limited or I actually forget where you had Washington as just a prospect coming into the NFL D bro.

27:39Pre-draft he was my RV to the class I really liked him a lot size speed freak I mean everybody knows that more of an upright runner but he's got some shiftiness to him and everybody's seen that the preseason I think like pulling him up the board because I know he was a little bit further down in the rent the running back rankings here. I needed to go back to the running back well after I mean I've got a really strong wide receiver room getting Romeo dobs and a high volume passing offense I kind of feel like Mike wash is probably the last of like a guy that I feel like has a standalone role. That we can kind of buy into and high in contingent upside to getting him here I felt really good about that especially at already adding dobs and feeling good about my wide receiver room. Rich one pick before you take Aaron Jones is Josh Jacobs are you interested in just like a late round flyer on Jacobs or you just avoid him like not even on your draft board at this point. Yeah I'm largely avoiding but I'm not going to fault anyone for using like a low equity pick on him I just think that the tea leaves probably point more signs into we're not going to see Josh Jacobs play football in 2026 then we will.

28:44If you in like I don't know if you're league like allows like requirements to have like a player that suspended on IR if that doesn't happen that's another whole another can of worms to open up because he's just going to be sitting there eating a roster spot win. The turn is the largest open the year right like you don't have any injuries yet but the waiver wires the hottest you're going to start having injuries so I'm just going to let someone else probably deal with it but if you want to use like one of your last call picks on him like. Go ahead. Tara I like the case on booty pick I was eyeing him at the turn when I took a couple of receivers an opportunity in Houston and if there's any kind of bounce back from strut in this offense I think booties going to be a real beneficiary. Yeah it's funny because I was looking at Denzel Boston so those were the two that I had you up there because I love him a lot to. But pivoted their vacation booty I think people get a little hung up on the lack of volume and receptions and overall targets that he had in New England but at the end of the day he his catch rate was incredible. His touchdown opportunities are there so he's a high upside play that I think we'll have a very specific role now that Jayden Higgins is out be a significant deep threat and an offense that can give Nico Collins a little bit more flexibility but also offer some high upside value for Cation.

29:59Just a couple more picks here and then we'll take a few minutes to look at the draft analysis offered by fantasy pros and see what we could have done differently who's projected to win the league all that fun stuff very quick moving. Moch draft here a lot faster we usually have so we're we're absolutely flying helps having a couple of auto picks in there of course final pick is up that's me I was getting prepared for the analysis and not ready to make my pick. I'll take a say I've been late round picks throughout all draft season just I want to take as many swings on the chargers offense as I can I'll take trash here to wrap things up let's take a look at some of the analysis going on here I got an a minus the third highest ranked team that's as well as I've done in a while usually I feel like the system doesn't like my drafting approach very much. It looks like today the two teams that it didn't like very much are half of this episode Tara and deep row are 11th and 12th thankfully our guest rich rebar is a little higher than that of barely yeah not by much it is very concentrated there in the last four or five spots if you look at sort of the graph of the projected standings there but also it's not a wide gap from anybody I mean number one is an 899 score and number 12 is an 818 score so that's.

31:19You know within 80 something points not anything crazy let's take a look at some of the expert opinions here oh the two people who hate my draft most are Andrew Erickson and Derek Brown. Thanks a lot you hate it you hate my whole wide receiver my three least favorite picks of yours are Justin Jefferson lad Maconkey and Roman doons as so. By receivers at all Erickson doesn't like my Derek Henry pick I'm going to disagree with him on that one and then one of the cool things that you can see when you're doing a mock draft with fantasy pros is the pick analysis where it'll show you hey if you went back and switched the positions you took at these two spots how much higher could you have ranked if I had taken Drake London at the 301 instead of Derek Henry and then waited all the way at around 12 to flip those positions taken Aaron Jones is set a Denzel Boston I would be actually in first place. Projected to win this league according to our system so it did not like the Henry pick either Debra how does your team look.

32:20I actually feel really good about this team even though I'm 12th like I feel good about the quarterback room I think it's a really strong wide receiver team I backed it up with a lot of like volume and maybe some upsides like I get the running back room like can kind of look a little more sketchy but I look at Jonathan Brooks and March on Lloyd as high upside picks is their volatility there sure so maybe I should have taken like you know another running back a look at pick analysis is and it's telling me that I should have gone jail and hurts and Alec Pierce over Pukinakoo and Geno Smith. I mean considering the quarterback room I built not going hurts in the first round I feel pretty good about it and Alec Pierce. I'm not saying he's not do not draft from me but I'm still kind of weary about him. Yeah I think I think that's fair. Rich had his your team look. Yeah I would feel pretty strong about this I've played in a few Super Flex League with Debra when he knows I tend to do things like this anyway. Yes you do. Yes you do. I know I generally don't have a problem doing like mid mid round quarterbacks and Super Flex League's my big suggestion was flipping Lamar Jackson

33:27and Abyssin Robinson and that was like a plus like 99 points or whatever and the thing I've done two of these now and it hasn't been awkward we're knowing on the panel has dislike dislike my team but in both of them Andrew Erickson really liked my team and I don't know how to feel about that. You know it's not great about that is that is that a good positive but I've drafted teams he likes as well but for a half point PPR league this one feels pretty good. I'd love to go into work these running backs and these wide receivers. I know Debro in particular is high on two receivers that I've taken and I don't believe that the stigma both of these guys have caught at this point is going to bear out in their production this year and that's Christian Watson and Quentin Johnson I think that these guys are going to have two of the best years of their career and not be as volatile as their image kind of projects them to be to the outside. Quentin Johnson the real White receiver one for the charges this year said it and I'll say it again well that there we go I think Johnson will be very good I don't know if I would go as far as agree with that but we'll see the White receiver one last year so I'm going to just say he's going to run it back.

34:31That's right. Tara how you feel about your team what's the analysis say I love my team and the analysis shows that I love my team because the expert that loved me the most was me so I was authentic to myself. So there we go. But I get why the draft grade didn't like mine they were not a fan of my wide receivers and ideally they did not want me to take sake on I could have gotten my QB2 there. Brock Pertie was one of the suggestions and then the suggestion was that I could have flipped quarterbacks in CJ Stroud don't concade instead of Harold fan and junior and Shudder Sanders. Shudder is the QB3 I wouldn't have I wouldn't have even felt compelled to pick that if I had another quarterback that I or if I didn't really you know have a had another sleeper at that point that I would have liked to go over a QB3. I can't say that in any scenario I won't don't concade over Harold fan and junior on my team I think the gap between those two is really aggressive we're talking about with Buffalo team that added in DJ more they subtracted nothing.

35:40And just how much pass volume are we really expecting from that team to be able to shift significant targets on a tight end that is finished this tight end 20 and tight and 30 and back to back years so I can't say that that's the one that I would have done but I totally get why the wide receivers weren't loved and what was Zay flowers. And mecca book a Parker Washington one deal Robinson and then K Sean booty so on the surface you know those would not be producing one of the automatic proven high in top 10 guys but they have a lot of volume potential and a lot of promise so it can add up once we get into the actual season. Rich you did take Dalton concade in your draft is he somebody that you do see some ceiling with in this offense this year or is it more just somebody to get you again kind of passes first few weeks with Kittle banged up. A little bit of calm a calm B he's a guy that definitely think has his faults it just depends on how much he's going to get on the field in terms of route participation.

36:41You know we always hear this time of year you know the players in the best shape of his life or players put on weight but I do think for concade it is significant he worked with Derek Samuel he's a trainer in San Diego who worked early in his career with Keenan Allen and Zach Hertz guys that had lower body injuries and they were able kind of get them on the path to physical strength and get them on the field. It's very small sample in the preseason but I mean he did play on 75% of the 12 personnel snaps which last year he was at like 24% so if he just get on the field more we know on a per target target and a per opportunity basis he is a good pass catcher he's just got to get on the field more than he has these first few years. By the way Debra we kind of skip past it quickly but Rich's last pick Carson back what do you make of that is you know kind of a later on flyer in a super flex format. I mean building out like a later quarterback room like Rich did like one love Baker Mayfield and then strut is QB3 like. Beck could be I mean if not like a by week guy but I mean could be filling in for CJ Stroud if like he doesn't hit as is QB3 I think any late darts on quarterbacks and super flex formats like shoulder Sanders you want to go with like you drafted.

37:52Any one of these guys went to go flyer on the QB2 for a roster I think it's definitely viable especially a place like with ears on a cardinals. Do Beck doesn't have to be amazing just play freaking point card dude that's it like the skill players around him are freaking fantastic we know that they're going to be trailing in games because the defense isn't good either so. Beck is a fine flyer like this late in a super flex like it. By the way the team that is projected to finish first in this league picking 10th Jamar chase I'm not saying brown Patrick Mahomes Matthew Stafford Jeremiah love Colston leveling. Basel Tutton Travegan Henderson court and Sutton Chuba Hubbard they picked up Jacobi Brissette later they picked up trade Tucker and getting Mitchell later that's a pretty fun team that's one that you highlighted earlier rich that you thought looks pretty good I mean again Jamar chase going 10th even in a super flex that feels like really high upside to me still getting Mahomes and Stafford is. You know Jeremiah love ends up healthy at all rich like that looks like a really fun squad. Yeah absolutely I mean the one bummer of being so in on Christian Watson is when you take Christian Watson the other two Packers guys are also values like I was like Jane readers the highest part of my board for like two rounds and but you have Christian Watson it's hard to take that second that second green bag guy that's the only rub with being so in Christian Watson is I actually think read and golden are pretty good values as well.

39:12Tara any other teams of Santa to you that you really like their build. I like the build of you know I can't I can't it now this one is risky but I actually you know what scratch that I like Riches build a lot I like the R.B. Heavy significantly I think doubling up at quarterback was good wide receivers I am I am as I said pro Quentin Johnston in terms of the upside of him being wide receiver one so I love yeah overall structure of that team coming out very good there I think it's it's interesting because in super flex leagues with the depth that we have at quarterback like deep row was saying in terms of pushing that QB out of the first round and still ending up with two solid quarterbacks you don't have to immediately pass up the value of high in running max or high in wide receivers and target a lesser value quarter back you can wait a little bit push it back and still end up with some solid options. I'm going to talk about one team we haven't mentioned yet with a wood stealer girl I really like this build man like.

40:18J.O. and her it's Christian McCaffrey Brock Bowers the first three rounds and then ending up with a wide receiver room a Chris Alave yeah carnal tape could be kind of shaky we can work but getting step on digs and then an upside shot of high lemon Jordan Tyson like look I know he's not gracing your lineup for maybe like half the season this year but could be a stretch run guy and like as your wide receiver what one two three like wide receiver five perfectly fine with that and then pairing Isaiah likely like as a late round tied in I really like this build especially like with the way that they work backward constructed the wide receiver and running back rooms after going quarter back running back and then paying up a tight end I'm really surprised stealer girl isn't projected higher in the kind of same it's same I agree that feels low to me with a quarter back room of Hertz and Willis you get hours Montgomery McCaffrey as you're running back to the wider receiver as you mentioned like I think that's a pretty good bill that I would agree with you there I want to ask you rich as you start to wrap up

41:21sort of stylistically you obviously have talked about being very willing to go with sort of that middle quarterback range I would have loved to have paired Josh Allen with a quarterback that I liked a little bit more than Sam Darnold as I mentioned I was really targeting Jordan love and round four before you took him I love that pick and what do you make when you are somebody in a super flex draft who gets a Josh Allen or a Lamar or Drake May do you tend to go with more of that like hero qb build where you say hey I have the one really a elite guy I can wait a bit on the second one let me load up at running back a receiver or even with a Josh Allen do you want to say I want to get a Brock pretty or a bone X and really double down at the position how do you approach it if you get one of those elite guys early. Yeah similar to the former like you said I mean when you have a guy like Josh Allen you're trying to just get is then a many front end assets at the other positions you can it's why a lot of the gamers this year and non super flex that take to me or gives an b's and Robinson kind of have the same approach right you're trying to just have as many heymakers to drop when we get to the fantasy playoffs that's why you see the Josh out Josh Allen typically go to like the

42:26the Gibbs or B John Draftier in round three and like a lot more general population leagues because when we get to the fantasy playoffs I got two guys that might score 60 points like then then we'll see what happens what the rest take care of itself so I do tend to go that route but I it's more let's just like letting the board come to you at quarterback at that points you already have your kind of Gibraltar guy and Josh Allen you just missed like you could have taken I guess Baker but when Jordan love is off the board like it's a pretty big drop off you have Baker who I think is probably close but then you go to Malik Willis and then Chuck Daniel Jones you're already in kind of almost a no man's land I do like the pro arguments for guys like Willis and Chuck too it's just like they're on they do represent also an element of risk versus guys that you took in that same range yeah I feel exactly the same way you just described like I like Willis I like Chuck those are you know intriguing targets to me but at the four or five turn with already having Alan I'm thinking like Kyron as an RB two somebody I'm really excited about you know I like the upside of lad I'll still call my receiver one in that offense even

43:26if half the show disagrees it just felt hard to pass up those types of names for what I do think is a really intriguing upside there if they had gotten back to you know round six seven then of course I'd have been you know intrigued there as well D. Bruh how do you feel about that you know sort of that hero cube type of approach versus just letting the board fall to you I know you are somebody in doing a lot of draft with you who does usually like to take two cubies early in super flex yeah I mean I just kind of read the board and it depends on draft position like where I'm at like if I was draft in the one from the one spot I would automatically go on with Josh Allen the only difference that I would have done worm with your team build I understand you go and lab my cocky and round five I would have gone with Baker like honestly like if it was me and round five I would have gone Malik Willis and had the rushing upside pairing of Josh Allen and Malik Willis because I felt like with the wide receivers that were left on the board you you you could catch the end of a tier like you could have gone like you know maybe I mean like a Watson or DJ more some like they didn't fall to you in this draft

44:29but like one of those wide receivers of Terry Watts and DJ Moore could have fallen or going like with another upside guy like I would have probably gone with the key B2 and round five but I understand why you didn't considering at that point of the draft your only wide receiver was Justin Jefferson that was to to that point if I had known that James and Williams and Roman Dunes they were getting back to you with my next two picks I would maybe you would have got a few big in a big girl or Willis there yeah and you're right I was I both Watson and more who went the two picks right before there to so there was a few options there that did end up getting back to me at that next turn let's go around the horn which is kind of final wrap up thoughts here before we get out of here Tara any kind of final thoughts anything you feel like you learn I mean it almost feels silly asking like did you learn anything from this mock draft as we get this late into drafts using we're taping this on the last day of August but do you have any takeaways from the exercise today yeah you know I we've got a lot of nice heavy RB builds that went double running back in the first couple of rounds but there are still some nice teams that went with more of a hero RB approach and then in round seven and eight

45:33doubled up at running back so let's say like someone like Mack draft her drafted a Murray and Hampton and then came around and seven and eight and doubled up at Quenchon Judd Kinson, Ramard Ray Stevenson on a week to week basis one of those can produce Q RB two numbers for you same kind of deal there with a Javante Williams type of hero RB then combining with Jonathan Brooks and Martian Lloyd so you have the ability to get your higher in guy and still create an RB two you don't have to go as robust as possible especially in a draft where quarterback is more of a priority or wide receivers a more of a priority because it's a three wide receiver setup so I thought that was something very interesting that we had nice builds with doubling up in the mid round Arby's rich any takeaways for you just in general I said if you're playing super flex for the first time it's it's a little bit overwhelming to where like you might feel like you have to have that arms race to get the QBs you got to just kind of play the room in that scenario but if you are a gamer that as your your home league or your league that you've been in has

46:34played super flex for a long time like you know your room better than I will know it right or any expert will know it you'll know how to how aggressive the rest of your league mates treat quarterback and that's really just kind of the whole game of super flex is like when to be on the title wave and when to be not and when to go and make pivots and against other positions so it's fun I love the element that it adds it's it makes drafts different and adds a new wrinkle to the team builds and I believe it should just be the way that base fantasy football is played now agree yeah thank you to Diva final thoughts I like a lot of the things that Richard's talking about no two super flex rooms are exactly the same do not use super flex rankings because they're not going to fit every single different room because again you're going to get some where there's a title wave of a quarterback some rooms wait on quarterbacks your best the best thing in your back pocket that can help you a ton in super flex with teams or leagues that have been around for a long time is using draft intel especially you have these leagues that have been around a long time you kind of get the idea of where the quarterbacks go but again

47:37this also comes back when you zoom out at the hundred foot view of like drafting in a super flex league this also goes back to who do you like at quarterback and are you comfortable building a variety of quarterback rooms some of this is going to depend on where your draft position is like if you're drafting at the top of like you know top three pick versus late but are you comfortable taking because some people just are not comfortable like waiting on quarterback it makes them too uneasy they don't like late quarterbacks they're like I don't believe in Tyler's shock I don't believe in when Lee Quillus so when you're doing mock drafts to get ready for a super flex draft the other big part that you have to wrestle with yourself on is what quarterbacks do I like and that in itself is going to kind of help guide you through a super flex draft because if you don't like any of these like quarterbacks this year if you're like cam ward sucks Tyler's shock isn't going to hit Malik will this is in a horrible offense then yeah you're going to go quarterback earlier than maybe some other people but you
