Okay Ms. Cienz, what we tell him about?
Unfortunately, well, I don't want to say anything.
No, you're real.
The topic of if and when I'm going to have children.
I feel like.
Unfortunately.
Maybe I should retract my statement with you unfortunately.
Sorry, I even if you're listening to my husband.
So basically, we were over the weekend, we were out of town,
and we were hanging out with some of my husband's cousins who just had a baby.
I believe she's five months old.
And they were showing us some videos and stuff of how she was laying in bed with them and things like that.
And in our Airbnb, we actually had a king size bed.
And just it happened to come up to where I was like listen, if and when we have kids, my non-negotiable
is we need to upgrade our bed to a king size bed.
And he thought that was so interesting because I was like my biggest fear is to have our baby lying in between us.
And then I roll over and you know, whatever happens there happens.
But I just think that's one of a new parent's fear.
And I'm not even a new parent yet.
And I'm already fearing my life for it.
Your anxiety goes up.
Just thinking about it.
Oh man, becoming a first time parent, I'm telling you right now.
I think with JoJo, I think I put a barricade, parents listening.
You put a barricade around your kid to make sure you don't roll over on them.
I used to put a pillow on my back that way.
I don't roll over on the baby.
You get little mirrors.
You put it up to their nose to see if they're breathing all night.
Freaked out about any little thing.
By your second or third child, you could look in the back yard.
They're eating dirt.
Go ahead.
That's fine.
But I think it's fair.
Yeah, and he was a little hesitant because he's like, do you know how much those kinds of beds cost?
Especially when we have a perfectly fine queen size bed.
But I'm like, also selfishly, it would be nice to have a big bed like that.
But yeah, I was like, that's going to be my non-negotiable.
We need to make that upgrade because I don't want to already have more anxiety.
If I could do something to help it, then I absolutely will spend the money on it, for sure.
Yeah. Can't you wait to have that conversation, JD?
Absolutely not. There's just so much to unpack here.
First of all, he has your house at 80 degrees.
That's a crime.
That should be a non-negotiable.
That should be.
That's about 79 degrees.
Yeah.
Why do you hate kids so much, JD?
It's something I hate kids.
I just would hate having a kid.
There's a gigantic difference.
It isn't a non-negotiable. It's like, if you get pregnant, we're over.
Yeah.
I mean, it could be way worse.
If you're just saying a bed, I feel like you're doing it for the safety purposes.
Yeah.
You're the one having the kid.
So why does he even get a stay?
Or a stay?
So yeah, it's a non-negotiable.
We are getting a bigger bed, and that's the end of that.
Or we're going to get the 65 degrees in the crib right now.
That's all right.
That's funny because I'm like, oh yeah, this is a non-negotiable.
Starting off so simple, king size bed, right?
It's only going to go up from here, guys, eventually.
Yeah.
What are you thinking of now?
What was that?
What are you sleeping in now?
A queen size.
Yeah.
Yeah, you have to do that.
And that's an appropriate fear, right?
Absolutely.
Absolutely.
When you have a first, everything, you fear everything because one of the biggest fear is you leaving the hospital.
You take the baby away so you can get rest, and you're feeding you, and everything is good.
But then when they get that wheelchair for your lady, and they put that baby, and the fathers are usually,
or your person is putting that baby seat in, and you got to put that in right,
when you get in that car, and you're taking that baby home, fear strikes you.
Like, I'm responsible.
There's no doctors or nurses.
Now it's on us.
But that first one with JoJo, I was freaked out.
I remember I had a little house on 16th Street in Baseline.
That was the longest drive down Baseline ever.
Baseline, you know, religion row.
Yeah.
I felt like I was driving for a whole day.
I was so scared.
You were terrified.
So no, it's very valid.
Your fear of rolling over on the baby.
Yeah, I know.
I just feel like there's so many things to fear, and that constant,
like even when your kids are grown adults, you're always just going to have that constant worry and fear, and all those things.
I'm just really not ready for that.
All right, 833.
7377.
Hi, ladies.
This is a hell of a push present.
What is your newborn non-negotiable?
If you have this baby, you got to tell your person, I need this on the board strong.
Opalite, tailors to it.
Pleasure.
Okay, those are the high on the board.
No, king size bet is on the board right now.
Yes, absolutely.
