Hello everyone, welcome to Eddie and Jimmy as we get set for the NFL LA Rams versus San Francisco 49ers. Who you going for? The Rams. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. You 49ers? Yeah. And you'll know why tomorrow. You can't say anything. I can't say anything. You're a big reveal. There is a big reveal tomorrow. I can tell you why I'm going to Rams. Well, for the last 16 years I've been with a group of two mates and we do fantasy football. Yeah. NFL does that very, very well. Yeah, they do. And I've got two or three players from the Rams. Rams are good. Rams, Rams probably, well, they are the favourites to win the Super Bowl at the moment. 49ers going for them because they've been in town all week, but yeah, there's something to say. There's something to it, right? I can't say too much. Oh, hello.
See what happens. Shorting holding or buying the four losing finalists so far heading into 2027. Are you shorting holding or buying Carlton who finished 10th? 12 wins, 10 losses in a draw. What do they need? We will finish in 2027. All right. I'm buying Carlton. Let's go to the back part of the year. Obviously the front half was a disaster one and eight. Lose the coach also. Remember they had the Holland's incident on the field. Almost two different clubs this year. I'm buying. I think now a preseason. They might be adding some players from other clubs, but then they're getting Cody Walker as well. Some more midfield, some exciting talent. So I'm buying Carlton. OK, I'm holding them at the moment, but I'm holding with the expectations of them growing. But I think as much as Carlton fans will hate me saying this. It wasn't a bad result for them on the weekend. They would have got walloped this week. They were cooked. But it also meant that decisions that still need to be made are not going to be papered over by the results of the last three months.
So Josh Fraser knows what needs to happen. Graham Wright needs to know what needs to happen. The board knows what needs to happen. Sometimes the cheer squad and the media and everything else. Yeah, I don't know. Another forward target to go with big hair. Put it this way. So there are 12 wins, 10 losses in a draw. If they draw, they win, so that makes it 13. Can they find another win? Yeah. 14 wins. 14 wins get your top four pretty much. Really top four. So they're not far off. They're top five. Yeah, they might have, I mean, I think, yeah, Jagger Smith this year and Dean Harry Dan was fantastic. They had Cody Walker. Yeah. You wait to see him. Yeah. Well, that's suddenly changes quickly. The pies. Ninth place. 12 wins. Nine losses and two draws. What are the pies, Nate? I'm holding. I just want to see where we're hearing reports. It's pretty much all looking ill. Locking ill. Locking ill. Does Jesse Hogan land there? Well, I think they're talking to it. Yeah. So you ought to thought properly.
So I'm just holding, waiting to see who they bring in. Yeah. Because I think who they bring in actually has a major impact on how far forward they can go. I think Dassy Moore coming back another side makes a big difference as well. And the experience is made of bottom and handles like on field coaches. But also, you know, he's always he used to be played not in his perfect position. I think he's a far better player, obviously, in his perfect position. Maybe he doesn't lift enough when he's not in his perfect position. But if they can get that backline right and he can play the role he needs to play, I'd like to see Josh Deak. Take us go into the center a bit more. Which would help Houston in the role. Exactly. And I think also, you know, I'd like to see McCreary playing a bit more time in the middle as well. Yeah, he was good. He was good. Big body runs hard. Tackle's hard. And yeah, if they get another forwarder can catch it, that'll help. Couple of young players coming through. So yeah, I'm holding the pulse. Yeah, I'm holding just to see what it all washes out. Bulldogs. I'm going to buy the Bulldogs. Yeah. Yeah, Dassy back into that side.
You're completely disappointed. They were decimated early in the year. I thought they did really want to get to where they got to. Yeah. And does butters land there? Yeah. Keep the ball straight and they win. And do they get a key back? So if you land butters a key back and you get a fit, Dassy. Yeah. Well, sometimes you look at what's not there that you've already got and put them in. So at the moment, we're long on Dassy's coming back. Dassy more. That's it. Sam Dassy. Melbourne. Seventh place. 15 wins. Eight losses. What do they need? I think they can go to the draft again. They got two. Remember they got the goal coach picked for the Christian Britracad deal. There's some very good talent there. They can add some more midfield debts. Yeah. So another key position player, especially down back, Tom McDonald is on the way out. As we know, but you want Lever and you want Turner being the interceptors, but you want the big key position player and there's some good ones in the draft. And I think Stephen King's coaching this year has been a revelation. So people want to go and play for the border bases engaged.
Yep. Yeah, it's great. All right. In or out. Elis Declikson will coach again in or out. Out. I don't think he's sending coaching again. He's done. But we don't want him lost the game by any stretch. Absolutely not. Could he have a very, very strong impact on A4 football? My word. I'm pious. I've gotten ahead of throw the ball up properly. Yeah. This is driving me. I mean, it's a bicep. Throw it in. Throw it up. Throw that up. It's a bicep. What? What? Why are we suddenly doing a little tip off? Throw it up. Next we'll be hearing now have bicep complains. Remember they all complain that they're back hurt too much? No, but this is where it's stupid. We got rid of the bounce so they then get cleaned up on the way out. So they're throwing it in the circle. I mean, come back off the circle if you want to. But if you throw it up, you can get out as the others are coming in. More protein and bicep girls. Throw it up, especially around the grounds. Nonsense. I don't know who's, well, I don't know who's telling them. So I don't know who's telling them. But we need to tell them. And at least have a uniform. And if you don't throw it up properly, call it back.
Yep. You can still call it back. Matthew Nyx will coach Adelaide next year. In. In. Nick Watson will finish his career as the best small forwarder ever played the game. He's beaten by a Hawthorne. There's enough. Enough, enough, enough over there. Look at him. I can troll you. It's just, this is Joe Campbell, right? Now, I heard his father absolutely wanting to burn his membership at Hawthorne when this play came. Remember the first couple of games he just couldn't kick a goalie. He was just, he was overfused. He was going, they're talking about him and get him in there. There were all buddy midgets running around. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Now, oh, the wizard. I remember sitting in a three A.W. box at the MCG. And the wizard was taking a shot to the punt road end. And everyone else in the box says, ah, this is a bus. I said, give me all your stock. I'll take the Nick Watson stock. I can actually find that as a recording because I was aware of his work at school. It was a good, super. He was taking the piss at school level. Well, it was so fun to watch. And now look at him all come groveling back. That's great.
He's a good player, isn't he? He has potential to be. He's good player. He's got an all-time. There he goes. There you go. Outside of their premiership, Sydney's best win. I love, I love residency bias. Yeah. No one on pre-links. I think it's the greatest ever. 99 pre-links. Yeah, that was a reasonable win. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Plug-up kicks it through. Yeah. Yeah, there's a couple of good. No, but that was a 99 pre-links. Yeah, but that was just a sensational performance. Yes. It was. It was just fantastic. We said last week on our shows, we're not jumping on the bandwagon, that we, I said, on five double A as well. The Sydney cricket ground is worth two players to the Sydney swans. So there are chance in the preliminary final. I'm not holding much from winning a pre-missive. It might be an easy kill on the grand final day, but they found something. They've got to go. And can I just say on that, James Rodebottom? Yes. He's my man.
Now I've known Rory since he was eight or 90, played fully of my boys. He was a real paddle bum. And I was in play in the under 11s. Coach, by her, do you think? Yeah. And at Pren. So it was Josh Borrel, did you? Yeah. And you could look at these guys playing. And you go, yeah, he was just playing a different game than the other kids. He's strong. He's tough. And I hope they're making captain for the rest of the year. He was excellent. Should be. Patrick Dangerfield will play 400 games in a row. He currently sits on 377. So he's played two years here. Well, three, he'll play 378. Yeah. 22 games out. Is that going to be another one? I'll be honest. I'll be honest to play nearly every game next year. He'll be good there. Yeah. I'm hopefully does. Yeah, hopefully does. But he's another player who could play 4-4. We kind of did. Yeah. He didn't play much midfield minutes on the weekend. But playing like Malcolm Blight did at the end of his career. He was always, I think he's always going to be there. You might get a couple of years out of him. The ones who'll play the 2026 grand final in or out. I'm going to go out.
I've got a pick one. So they've got to go. You're saying to get down in the preliminary final by the winner of Frio and Jelong, isn't it? Yeah. A DSC dream. Okay. Yep. You are urine? Yeah, I think they're. I don't know what you think. Yeah, I think they might have played the game. Just the injuries and everything will catch up. It's been heroic. It's been heroic. Pies, Lenges, Iagant, Souls, they're forward line waves. Well, that'll help. Some of it. It'll help. Bit like chicken soup. Well, if you'll meet, no. Won't hurt you. I hate chicken soup. Did? It's disgusting. No, like chicken soup. No, it's dirty water. Oh, gross. I love chicken soup. You put fresh chicken in your chicken soup. You can call it whatever you want, but it still tastes like... Do you like soup at all? No. Some food I like soup. No, I despise soup. Do you just custard the soup? It does. Running custard, I suppose. Yeah. I love soup. Yeah. Everything. Minus droney, pumpkin. You'd be a big bread. I love the tomato soup.
Nice tomato soup. You could have that. Yeah. I love it even out of a can when I was a kid. The hinds. Like popcorn. Campers were good. Campers had a good chicken soup. You had a broad man, I was just instead of a spinach soup. I didn't realize if food didn't come out of a can until I was about 25. Well, parents come here to post war. Britain and the Russians. We're still on the Russians. They throw rocks at the cans of the back vent. Oh, in the east of Croschen, all sorts of stuff. Put them in the fire. Because they had a burn all the paper off them in the ensue eradot, or whatever we used to have for fire at the backyard, crack a night, all that sort of stuff. He used to, Sunday night, that was my job as a seven-year-old. Lighting the fire. We went for a burn all the rubbish, and then we put all the cans in the bin. At the front. Get the hammer. Imagine trying to do that now with today's cancel. Metal cans. I remember when I started a channel 10, so it was around 1983 period.
You'd fly the chopper on a Sunday, and it looked like there was bushfires everywhere. Just these plumes, smoke coming off people burning off the leaves in the side of the road, backyards going, it's unbelievable. Anyway, we transgress. We... Diagress. We complete each round with the predictions. You've gone too clear, because I went against the cats. Oh, yeah. Yeah. All right, well, how about this week, you're going to go to the docus? I'll go to the docus. I'll go to the cats. Oh, don't, don't share it in that. No, I'm... Oh, you're welcome. I like my cats. And I'll go to Brisbane, about Adelaide. You're right, O. So to you. Yeah, so there you go. You've got an opportunity to pull one back. It gives us one... We'll see what happens. Okay. You might clean me up. I hope so. Good on you. Good luck. So you're going for LA, I can't stand for instance. Yep, the Rams for me. It should be a cracking game. The MCG looks an absolutely treat, and hopefully presents well to the world. And what is interesting is that, straight after the game,
the MCG and the NFL are going to completely returfit so that we get a look at it. So if we can do it next year, the NFL will go in with a bit of confidence that that's the situation. It'll be magnificent. It is. Thanks, it puts on the world's go. Thanks, our friends at ICE. That's DP, not ICE. Not the ICE dealership, but the front. DP, thanks to our friends at Hyundai, and don't forget the Alexio. And Fiji Airways, this is Eddie and Jimmy. We'll see you for the preliminary final. Post the NFL game at the G.
