Breaking: Trump Furious as Iran Refuses to Surrender as Military Families Blast White House

We have some news right now, dual competing stories.

The White House is furious at the fact that Iran's new Supreme Leader is not surrendering.

And military service members in the United States and their families are upset because the White House is making light of a war overseas.

Two dueling developments about a conflict that is now in its 13th day, nearly two weeks in, a war that American taxpayers have funded to the tune of more than $11 billion.

That number was just through six days of the war, but theoretically it's likely much higher now, given that we're double in the war.

Well, a war that is unpopular among most Americans when in poll after poll after poll.

Right now, the new Iranian Supreme Leader, the son of the late Ayatollah has come out.

And as I said, she said, Donald Trump, we're not going to surrender.

The leader of the Islamic Republic in their first public speech, addressing the great nation of Iran and the brave fighters of Iran,

those who were injured and also the addressed the leaders of some neighboring countries,

the Islamic leader said that it has been very difficult to be the successor of Khomeini and Khomeini.

So that's just part of the statement issued by the Iranian leader.

He went on to essentially say that the straight of our moves will remain closed, that Iran will not surrender,

that Iran will continue to target US military bases and interests in the region, and that essentially Iran is not stopping.

And it comes as Donald Trump is facing ridicule here at home, not even just ridicule.

I mean, people are angry at him because his White House is making light of the war overseas.

Take a look at this latest video. I'm going to play it.

It doesn't have any sound because I otherwise may get deplatformed, but it's we sports,

literally them playing we sports, golf, archery, and using that.

Look at this. They're like attacking, they're showing attack videos while also using we sports.

It's just weird. And service members and their families are saying you center daughters or sons into battle.

And now you're posting these like prop again, the like videos on the internet.

What are we doing here? What are we doing here?

And yet the White House isn't stopping despite the fact that many have called the White House out.

This was just posted in the last hour.

And there will likely be more there were more before and they're likely will be more will be more and it comes as

Senators on Capitol Hill are sounding the alarm right now over where we are at in this conflict.

Take a listen to what Senator Slucken has to say today.

And I know we can't talk about it in an open setting, but the

you know, there's press reports that the Russians are helping target US ships and aircraft.

And I just hope we can all be on the same page.

And certainly in Europe, you understand the threat of Russia.

That if Russia is helping to kill US forces, we have crossed a Rubicon.

We are in another moment.

And that we have to take decisive action on that.

And instead we're giving them breaks on oil.

They're making a ton of money.

And and all the weapons and all the systems that we need for this war are what we would have otherwise given Ukraine to defend themselves.

So I just hope we're all on the same page on this committee and a bipartisan basis that the situation with drones in this war and the situation with Russia.

In helping to potentially kill American forces and target our weapons and our systems, our ships are totally there are new.

And we need to adjust to that new reality.

But she's not the only one sounding the alarm, take a listen to what Senator Warren had to say.

Let me ask you, if the Secretary of State and Secretary of Defense asked transcom for help to evacuate Americans, would you provide that support?

Senator General Reed, we're almost two weeks into this war.

Have Secretary Rubio and State Department made any requests for transcom to help evacuate Americans out of the Middle East?

Senator, on the 28th of February, the Department of State made a request to my department for that. And we have we have provided some assistance.

So you're saying they made that request back on February 28th.

So when we called them yesterday, they said they had not asked you for assistance. Can you explain why that would be so?

Senator, I cannot explain that.

I just don't understand this.

And you have been helping them all this time.

Senator, what we have done is through Central Command have responded to the request for the State Department to provide airlift at locations that they have specified.

And how much have you airlifted in this period of time? How many people?

Senator, I'll have to get that number for the program.

Can you give me a rough idea?

Senator, it's been in the hundreds.

Hundreds, not in the thousands.

That's correct. And, but I will say that as we continue to watch the situation, there have been other flights and other.

Doesn't have any answers. Doesn't have any answers to the Americans stuck abroad overseas.

Just to clarify, for your benefit, Senator Jollabrand, you did not mean to say that we had targeted a school.

That a missile hit a school.

No, but it's the word targeting that we did not mean how we chose a target that turned out to be a school, albeit next to a appropriate target of a naval base.

But the fact that it is chosen as a target, I'd like to know.

And I hope that we can have an open hearing on this, Mr. Chairman.

But I really don't believe it is appropriate that they be there for their own life and safety.
