This video, like all video seats around the channel, is definitely intended for mature audiences. This video is likely to contain pro-fanguages, content is inappropriate, and this video is not for kids. And we are time today. And we are time today. Oh my God.
We're in the wrong half, but whatever. It's Dr. Greed Thou show live on Discord YouTube. Kick ex, the home site, www.breal.tv. I, uh, to the right. Mr. Mellow Manace, the legendary. What's going on, legend? Talk to me. Talk to me. Chill, we up in here, man. Um, on Labor Day. Well, we got the treehouse crew, bra, bra, the dominator. What's up, y'all? Happy Labor Day. Hmm. We got a brisket king. Happy Labor Day. I'm glad I know the word today. Dustin Bartz. He canceled his pop-up to come in today. That's awesome. Thank you for that. Yeah. No pop-ups. We got the illustrious son Dubi in the building. You look pretty sharp. Hey, man. I love you guys. Happy Labor Day. We're not pretty sharp. Uh, I want to say, um, salute to the folks out.
Somebody's phone's on. I think is it mine? Where's that headphones? My name on it. My name on it. No, my name on it. Mine's right here. I hear that. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's still on. Yeah. Absolutely. Everybody that was over at the came out to, uh, Rock LaHoma, Oklahoma, Tulsa, that is, it was hot, bro. It was like they had been apparently enduring a heat wave that had lasted, lasted 40 some of days, 40 days or something like that. I thought I heard five and Aiton said the driver told him 40 days. Uh-huh. Was it? It was hot. It was like 107 on the peak of the day. Well, we went on stage. It was about 98 degrees. Was it human or just dry? It was, it was, um, I mean, there was a little bit of humidity, but not that much.
Like they said. That's more humid here right now. I feel than it was there. But it was hot. It felt like we were in an oven baking. Um, but we went on its sundown. So it was a little bit better for us, but like you know what it's like to fucking be in the nighttime and it's 98 degrees. Yeah. There's no breeze and the breeze that does come is hot. Oh, man. Oh, man. These summer festivals would do a number on your ass, my. Imagine being the fan. Well, as we say, happy Labor Day, nobody's going to feel sorry for us or you right now. Yeah, no, we were talking about that just before we got. I mean, this is what it is. This is work. What we do is work, but it's not the same type of work, you know what I mean? There is, uh, you know, it is exhausting. It did get up there. You put, you put, put on a show. And if it's a tempo show and depending on how this weather is, yeah, you come out like you play the sports like four quarters of basketball.
Thank you. Like a first and second half of football, maybe not like football, but football. Yeah. I'm saying definitely more worked in baseball players except the picture. You know, I'm saying so what we do, there's a physical aspect to it from night to night hour and a half, it'll be, it'll be exhausting. Or even an hour, night to night, you're expending energy. It's not the same kind of work as being a dock worker and bringing these boxes over to this truck. And you know, you'll be loads of them and do the load of all that. It's not the same kind of work, but it's work. You guys are wrong. We enjoy our work though. There just so happens to be only a hundred thousand people watching you at the same time. That was probably 70. No, I don't know how much you want to get in. Let get in the gun. That's the top. I don't know what the numbers were for. It's the Monday on the B. Yeah, I don't know what the numbers were.
I just know we were on the main stage and it was a shitload of people. But this is this was the, you know, I've been seeing this trend happen. Right? Like if it's a general admission play, meaning, you know, it's a floor and there's no seats. Right? Like this building is this, right? I've noticed some promoters now will put seats in these general admission places and charge more for the first 10, 15 rows and then a little bit less after that and a little bit less towards the back. And all those ticket prices are still more than the ones up there. You know what I mean? The so-called cheap seats, right? Because what I've come to see is that promoters are seeing that they could make more money by putting these seats in and charging by the tier as opposed to it being a general mission, one price for everybody on the fucking floor. Yeah. Right?
And you know, and here's the problem. I could see that in arena shows because that's where it starts. Yeah. Right? But I've noticed in those arena shows, it kills the vibe when you don't have just general admission and it's right. It kills the vibe. Even the people there, they don't want the seats there. Henders them being able to dance and move around. Cypress Hill on stage and Muffles are eating steak and watch. Yeah, they're certainly doing that, but they might. But you know what I'm saying? The seat is stifling and they might just say, fuck it. I've been, you know what? It's here. I'm going to sit in it. Right? That kills momentum. Now, we hadn't seen that in festivals because mostly festivals, it's boom, GA, front to back and the VIPs are usually off on side stages and shit like that.
Which is how it should be put the VIPs on the side so that the real fans did or not, they don't got the expensive ticket, but they're there to give up that energy for these bands. True. Let them be up front in the GA and fucking, you know, like, you know, understanding you're saying here that the festivals are arena guy gave the idea to the festival or the festival guy saw what the arena guys were doing or some arena guys are festival guys too. So when they see that it's working over here, hey, let me try that at my festival. Right. If I can give a look. Yeah. And they do because people want that better play that they want that like the VIPs will sell out because they want better positioning. But the problem is, is the VIP, is it the same kind of fan is those people that bought those GA tickets? Yeah. They're more relaxed. They don't even show up for everybody. They might just show up for the headliner and then so all that to say that in Rock La Homa salute, it's a lot of rock La Homa.
We thank you for the invite to that. There was that problem is that they sold a shit load of VIP seats to go in front of the GA crowd. Yeah. And it was, you know, it it filled up and it was cool. But the seats hindered everything and those ain't were the fans that are going to make the concert look crazy because they're not going to move like. They're not going to march. Thank you. No, it's not him. The VIPs don't want to be in the mosque, Peter stage, David. They just want a good point of view where they could party out at their leisure. Right. Because if you fucking sell a shit load of VIPs that's all the front row and they don't show up till the headliner, everyone's fucked up the energy. Because the actual people that are giving up energy are half a football field away from you. Yeah.
Because they've sold so many VIPs. It's sporadically, yeah, there might be VIPs and stuff like that. But it's killing the vibe of an outdoor festival to do this. That was my that was my intake of my intake and as an artist what I noticed, it is like, I mean, but I'll say this what Oklahoma, Rock Lehoma did to compensate for that, I think, was that they had a section in the middle. And I thought this was really cool. Was that they they brought people in from the back, put them in that middle part, let them fill it out, go crazy. And then they cycle them out and got another part of the background, put them in that fucking center area up front. They had to cycle them in and out so that people will get that upfront experience because they sold so many of those VIP tickets in the first 50 fucking rows. I get it. They shouldn't this shouldn't be sitting on an outdoor festival like that, especially if it's rock alternative hip hop, right?
Yeah, shouldn't be that, but they did that and to compensate they had that that section where they flushed people in and out. And that was cool, but still you have to flush people in and out for that. Just to you know, just to get that VIP money. Yeah. They need to do something better man, they need to put that fucking shit back off to the side or make two sides for it so that the VIP's got a decent experience, but they are not in the way of the crowd. It makes these festivals. Because I mean that's part of the energy. If you if you negate that, people be like, it was all right. The real fans were in the back, that's fucked up. They had to look at this shit on screens because they were so far back. No, you're right. Yeah. Yeah, that was that was my only down part of it as that the real fans came to give it up and go crazy. They were way in the fucking back. But do you have say so? Be or or well, no, none of the groups have say so.
Just to say, yo, I don't want anything to undermine the group or the show anything like that. No, the layout is the layout. The layout is the layout. Dude, you're serious. Dude, yeah. In the end, in the end, shout out to all those concert promoters, show promoters out there that have been booking us for about 40 years. All of us here. Yeah, we've lit a very. I want to say something real quick because someone says so VIP's aren't real fans. Yes, they're real fans. There's no doubt about that. VIP's are real fans. I mean, they're paying more for the experience. Thank you. But what I'm saying is it a lot of VIP's will either come for the group they want to see. They may not want to see the other four groups that go in front of the headliner. You know what I mean? Or the support? And so what you have is a section that's half full or maybe empty depending on who's going on before.
You know what I mean? So it leaves this whole section sporadic and not complete. There's holes in there. Yeah, because some VIPs, you know, get their scheduling their shit. Like, I'm not going to fucking watch this whole day. I'm going to go for so and so. Right. Some of the VIP's too can be a little bit bougie. Well, that's what I'm saying. They don't want to participate in the say ho. Listen, listen, some will. Some won't. Some will show up early. Some will show up hell of late. Yes, I seen that too. And the problem is is when you got a bunch of VIPs that are showing up hell of late because they can. They know they're seeding scare and tea. Meanwhile, I went on at 7 p.m. And they never, you know, then they asked me, when are you going on? Yeah. Yeah, when you were leisurely walking in there. Or when you go on because those people ain't there. It's like a, you know, a whole field full of people that are like half the football filled away from you.
Ready to go. Apshit to you, but they're way back there in this whole section right here is not necessarily robust. Let's switch like that. Well, that's how it's, that's how it's normally done. All those people are right there at the front of the stage and the VIPs are off to the side. All I'm saying is maybe they should work the VIPs off to the side. Instead of giving those first 50 to 100 rows and putting seating in an outdoor. Hold on. Instead of putting seating in an outdoor festival that just does not happen. You know what I mean? Like it never happens. This was the first time I've seen that at an outdoor festival where it's seeding in the first thing. 50 to 100 rows. Wow. So did you like it better when they had them on the side of the stage? Well, yeah, because they're not blocking the other fans and they're still getting their VIP experience. I'm just saying, I'm just saying adjust your VIP experience so that you're not fucking the rest of those fans out and like put in detaching them from the stage.
No, I've been in that situation. I don't play as many festivals as you do, but the ones that I do, I've seen both. The ones with the zero energy in the front and they drink in the poses and doing all that. And then I've seen them when they've sold the tickets, they're on the stage just to barricade area there. Yeah, it seems to work a lot better. Well, there's that. But like the problem with that is side stage is look, I never realized why I never got why anyone wants to watch the show side stage other than to be seen or the pussy pass for guys. I need to be seen. If you know if the right chick sees me, I can you know work it. Right. Because that's how some of these fuckers think when they get up on stage. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Right. But as a fan and as a fan of music, that is the worst possible place to watch from because you are not getting the full blaze up of the sound.
Yeah, you are not getting the quality of the visual part of the show. You're getting side and looking at the crowd. You think you are the bad has on in ears. You're fucked. And if the band has in ears, your fault. Oh, you're doing a scene guys walk back and forth. No, you can't. You know, it's better to watch from the crowd. That's why we started wiping our stages like if it's our tour. Ain't nobody on the stage watching the show going out. Okay. Now I'm saying unless you're being a part of the show somehow. Back in the 90s, we didn't give a fuck. Shit, that whole side areas were like practically another performance within itself. You know what I mean? Yeah. Having hundreds of people on the stage that don't need to be there. Like a barbecue in the hood. Like a barbecue in the like a block party on the stage. Like a block party on stage. Be no VIPs matter for sure.
But it's like that it should be a intersection made for them that's not like a right in front hindering the craziness that you expect to see at a festival. I mean, from artist experience to fan experience, the people that have waited out there all day in the sun to see their fucking favorite band. They're like way out. They can't you know what I mean? They got to watch them on the screen practically because they put the VIPs right. Do you remember the time we was in seats and we climbed the Hollywood Hills mountain? I just told that story. No, it was a beastie boy. It was beastie boys. It was beasties. Yeah, Greek theater. Yeah, we climbed the mountain because we could afford it. That's right. I love the Greek. And all we had was bottles of Jack Daniels and everything. I was like a wild one, but we couldn't afford to get in. So we watched we climbed and hiked the mountain through the trees, peaking through. No, but the seat down into the Greek.
Yeah. And watch the show like that. That was a great experience felt like for those people. We weren't the only ones doing that. I know there was a bunch of motherfuckers out there. But yeah, that was awesome. Greek is like a particular venue because it's in the middle of nowhere in this residential high class neighborhood. Yeah. And it's just beautiful, man. It's like a theater. Of course. Thank you, Mello. Thank you. Yes. Yes. It's like a golf course. I love the Greek golf courses in the million dollar house. Yes. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That is a special venue. Yeah. It is. Thank you, B. Yeah. I think it's better. Well, Hollywood bowls dope too, but the Greek I like slightly better. It's more tough. I've only played it one time and I had a blast just knowing I was going to rock it that day and do my thing. But what I noticed was the most people who's in the front. Yeah. The only thing that I did was just the ones that were wiling out were behind them. Yeah. Yes. Well, that's what happens. You know what I mean? It's a bit like you see this in shed venues, right?
And let me tell you what a shed venue is. Right. So a shed venue is when you go out there and there's the big old grass area in the back. And then the seats that go all the way to the front of the stage and then there might be one little slither. Slither. Is it slither? Sleather. Sleather, yeah. Sleather. I was going to say sliver, but I know it's slither. Oh, sliver, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Why if you would have got on me for that next step, right? Sleather. Sleather, yeah. Sleather, excuse me. Sleather. Thank you, Bart. Sleather. I think I know how to slither. He knows how to slither. But the sliver of the front of the stage that constitutes the pit. Thank you. And they usually let people load up right there. Sometimes they don't. Sometimes it's all seating all the way back. And then the grass area sometimes it's that little bit of pit, the seating and the grass area. The grassy knoll seems like a fun place. Yeah. And so there's a lot of there's a lot of shed venues like that. But festivals rarely use shed venues because you, you know, they want to use more ground up.
And they don't want the seats. They want it slammed. Right. But now promoters are going back to using seats because they know they could charge more for the first few rows. Yeah. People will buy it. I don't want to be way back there. Fuck it. I'll. I'll shell it out. Yeah. Sometimes. I was running up with bone dogs in Denver. They had a, the venue was like that with the grassy knoll first. All right. All the way to the back. But what they messed up was they didn't put the black lining on the fence around. So it was hundreds of people in the back behind the men. You know, you know, said. Yeah. I mean, you're going to make it easy for people. They're totally do that. Yeah. That's the free 99 package. Free 99 free F R E E. I'm free from the back end. I'm sad. Oh, but hey, listen, all in all, how does it was all day? Killed it out there. It was, it was an awesome show. People gave it up for us.
It was full in the fucking VIP area. Why not? At first, it looked like, oh, man, this is going to be tough because people. Well, because there's a lot of people miss out. There's like seven, there's like seven stages, right? Well, most people, aside from that for you guys, but most people don't realize we need that energy. Well, any band needs that energy. Well, I mean, they want we want that person doesn't think about that. They don't know. Well, the promoter's not thinking about that. The motor's not thinking about it for sure. He's the fans. The fans are just spending to go have the experience. They're not tripping on how it's laid out. It's laid out. How it's laid out. Yeah. If you know where you're supposed to go, you go there and boom, you're parking. And then if you decide you're going to like you know, go out and venture off and see the other stages, you go and try to position yourself there. But I'm saying it's a day for those fans because it's seven stages or whatever. Seven stages. Some of these festivals are probably even more depending on how many bands are playing.
True. Like festivals like this, people got to get from people got to get from one place to another to another. And if all your favorite bands are playing different stages at this point, like Caliburge. Yeah. Yeah. I got a video recap. Let's go. Let's pop the recap. Sound it all. Let's go. Hey, talk about the fucking K-home. What? Oh, that's my chance to jump in right there. What? Yeah. Okay, see, we'll pinpoint that every time. Yeah. I wrote a whole new rhyme for that point. See, the wildness was happened behind that sound barrier. You want him to rhyme? Mmm. Yeah. Yeah. Oh. That was a pretty cool thing. I was like, what?
I'm gonna write an A. Yeah. Yeah. The A. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Like, how do you know how he's up there in baking weather And then like got one trickle the sweat on his goddamn butt down
Yeah, me, even Lord had trickles of sweat on his butt down Cuz it's hot out there Yeah, the fuck Lord is something, you know Yeah, maybe his sweat glens His sweat glens be turned off He lives in Vegas, so maybe he's used to heat So maybe that's like, you know, it's not right Oh, that's right, you know what I mean I was in Vegas just reason was 115 Oh, he bought that little shit they fell on white And the absorb all your shit So maybe he just used to think I wear under armor, that shit don't help all the way I mean, I know where this is in the set Look at the differences in shirts Yep, no, no And he maintained the composure He ain't running around He got him dialed in in his little pocket He's going in Oh man, yeah, no, he's going in This is unacceptable It's unacceptable that he still looks fresh
Good, after 55 minutes This is 50 minutes in Is that right? Yes This is only an hour set, this is minute 50 right here Oh, look in here Or minute 45, look me, I got it, I changed the whole dynamic of my shirt He looks like he came out of the sauna He looks like he came out of a sauna I'll do a cardio up there, B, I got a move I cannot dial it in, I don't do that You're burning calories for sure, because I remember back when we had the watches You guys were on tour, then we just looked at it and all of a sudden you and Bobo Go up like a thousand calories That was 900 calories, there you go Bro If we go to an hour and a half, then I burn like 1200 calories If we're at an hour 15, it's more like 1100 somewhere around there I got it down, it depends on how much I move in the show I mean, that I'll hit those numbers You know what I mean, I'll hit those numbers
I've run more because of 108 degrees outside too But you know what, I miss skinny B-Rill from back in the days I'm not on B-Rill Okay, I miss skinny B-Rill was like Right mellows, man Listen, I'm skinny B-Rill I can't get to 185 anymore, man, I can't do it I can't either for the life of a shit But I have three pounds later than I was last week You look good, mellow, you lost some weight though You lost some weight, mellows, you lost that tone Where are you at? What a regimen I can't, big shot out to the strong one Yeah, big shot out to the strong one Word up But I'm glad to be back in Kelly It's, you know, it's hot But it's not as hot It's raining today, shit, we came in to spray Yeah It's bad polar, Kelly has been kind of bipolar weather You saw what had been out of Long Beach Where they was calling it like a hurricane
But it was more like a mini tsunami The way the water rushed from the gym stand Yeah, the building It was like 700 miles off shore That was just from like the waves And it just, you know, where was that And that's why like OC had all these huge waves Yeah, it's crashing over walls, right Yeah, and it was just certain They're so low over there in Long Beach that the tide just blew right in So it just took out the beach And then all those guys that have the nice houses right by the water Flood They're too low of an your house is flooding We had a on-stank gas this morning They were, they went to, they were talking to some of those people And she was like, this is just great We just got the house dry And then the new wave comes in It would be nice if the city would come help us And give us some professional help Because a lot of us are out here risking our lives to like Get our homes back right from this And the city is doing nothing It would be nice if the city said some resource
Hey city Sets of goddamn resources Not you Siri, stop it But listen to us, all right She listens to everything The city got a sense of resources All right, helps some people Yeah Siri sounded like she was getting fucked in the background Then she said, oh, what? I don't know, did you hear it? No, there was no, I'm not sure I heard something, oh, it was dumb in the background Yeah, but you got me, you got me Your mind is always there chief I get it Oh, I get it Oh, I get it Stop, won't stop Oh, you got it Stop, stop, won't stop Oh man, listen, I was We were doing our, you know, thank you in good night To the crowd, you know, hey, this is that and the other And I don't know, thank you very much And all this, right And next on stage And I knew who it was
You know, I knew it was Papa Roach coming up But I mind fucked myself and I thought, oh shit, is it POD And I paused for a second And I looked at Bobo and he said, and he was, and he mouthed to me Oh, Papa Roach It's mother fucker Papa Roach I totally had a mind fuck right there, Papa There was a nice little pause that I left open right there It coming up next Papa fucking Roach Oh, I'm scared, bro Oh man, yeah I never forget, but right in that moment, listen You know, I was high before I got on stage And then we, I don't know if we even spoke weed Well, we were on stage, I was so high Already Because the heat Makes you feel even higher Like, you're the fucking drag you down He hydrates you Oh man Yeah, we were drinking And I was like, oh man I was like, oh man Yeah, we were drinking I had an IV before we even went on stage I said, fuck that, I'm gonna take an IV right now
And so like, I had, you know, it didn't affect me the way that it could have But, uh, yeah man It's a tough one doing it And that kind of weather smoked out like that So like, you know, I'm trying to remember my lyrics towards the end Like, make your shirt off, fuck them up And then I forgot And almost forgot I did forget, not almost Bobo had to remind me I knew who it was And then I second-guessed myself And then, you know, if I just listened to my first thought I would have had it right And that brings us back around to happy labor day Because most people have work Don't have 100,000, well fuckers watch them Going to work Oh, thank you, not saying pop a road Yep, yep, no, no, no, no work, pretty good work You got that, yeah, totally got that Way to go Oh shit, man Yeah
I would imagine, you know, on a day like that Because you see it at every festival And we've talked about it, you know You go to a festival, someone's doing it You know, going too hard, too fast You know what I mean? And they are done for the day Oh yeah, yeah I would imagine on that day, out there As hot as it was, that triage center That they had lined up Were full of people like that Like got too drunk, too fast, dehydrated Out Like it happened on stage too, if you're not out Oh yeah, to you, yeah Absolutely, that's why you got a hydrate before you go up there and do your thing That's what SenDoc was always like I was just chilling So imagine how it was for all the fans when they're all bunched up Like, you know, right against that Between the VIP and where they're all at It's 180 degrees, you have a bunch of dudes like laying up against you It's probably really bad down there They're probably just sweating balls Imagine what the funk meter was Oh, it's gonna be
Pumping up, gentlemen No thanks, hey, the funk meter had to be like, whoo on it And I hope there wasn't selling chili dogs out there Oh, there was, you know, it's a festival So they're selling chili dogs, chili dogs and all kinds of shit I'm gonna chili fest You know, we're it up You know, so yeah And Bidokala Homo School, man You know, like people showed up They partied out in spite of the conditions And yeah, it's an awesome festival They need to, you know, next year Because they didn't have it last year or the last time we did it They didn't have the VIPs front and center, you know Okay Taking away from the mosh pit and the stage diving and all that stuff They had it off to the side Where it normally should be They just did something different this year They probably made more money that way But like, again, it kind of like They were trying to get that loop
It altered the experience For the VIPs positive Yeah Okay, I get it, but it doesn't need to be this way Maybe it was just a testing ground Maybe they'll bring it back next time Well, if they made a lot of money from it They're not bringing it back You're making a loop, you're making a loop And they should, you know what I mean If it works, it works, but I just think they need a better presentation Right on So that it's not altering the experience of people that are normally up front And center going wild to the music Yeah, and that doesn't undermine the show in any way Right That part You know what they need for the concerts We need something like this, man Hey Entertainer for the fans All right Thank you, Rayward Oh Are you touching my weiner? Oh, dude What has everybody touched my weiner? It's off my shit
Oh, hey, they got the they got the bun, that's awesome The weiner and the bun That was sick Yeah, pretty crazy It's pretty crazy I'm surprised you're not at an event for Labor Day Milo Today, no I was gonna do something maybe going out with the bad scenes, tomorrow's bad scenes But I rather have been here Disinstead, you know what I mean Like let's bring them to show Yeah, you know me, I don't do shape of work Yeah, I show it up at somebody's party How about you, Dooby? No, man, I just wanted to kick you with you guys I had a good weekend so I was like I couldn't wait to see Milo and B Dush, you guys Dominator Ray, everybody ate Tantro And Bart's cancelled five pop-ups to be here today Awesome No, I didn't have a pop-up today
I was supposed to do one on yesterday but it rained So I had to cancel that because it was like Point ratings, you know, it's South Bay It was raining all day long yesterday I don't know how it was where you were right now The rates that take the day off, Bart's Yeah, well, it was cool I didn't have to stress out about kicking much of barbecue Yeah, there wasn't a lot of traffic too, thank God I got down here quick from where I live I live a little bit further out now So it's a track But today, easy peasy, son I got around 25 minutes Never got that fast I've seen a badass hawk chilling on You know, like on the freeway The freeway lights Over where I live, a lot of them chill up there When they're kind of at rest You could see the hawks chilling up on those lights And I happen to catch one Like a glimpse of one Badass when he was a big bird He was white and black Maybe it wasn't a hawk Maybe it was a falcon But it was a big ass bird
Chilling on top Black and white body It's crazy It was just saying there Just sitting up top, yeah Catch your rest because there's a lot of food for them out there There's a lot of fucking rodents Yeah, when I was riding the bike sound of the beach Like a few weeks ago, Dom We thought we saw some sort of hawk A few jazz birds Like we were riding the bikes And we were like, what is that thing And it was like some Where were you guys at? We were down in Redondo But it was like, you know, just coasting With like, you know, the sea air Just like hovering there And you're like, we look up And like, what is that thing? It was huge You know what, I wasn't like a normal like sea gold or whatever So that could have been like one of those turkey vultures Okay, yeah, they're a big ass bird Yeah, it was huge I would compare what it was when I was flying around Yeah, you'll see those like there's that That bow a park off of the 405 Yes, in the valley
Whatever, um, there's a lot of them around there So you see like big old wings Big ass wigs, yeah I think what it was, fucking looks like a raptor son It was definitely noticeable Like you're riding, you're like, what is that thing up there? Yeah, look up a turkey vulture, um, um, Ray, and you tell me if this is what you saw, big parts King brisket, brisket king I'm in some way, but See that, yeah, that's a big wig's bed They fly like a morpher I think it was something like that They're a ugly ass bird, but we have them here in California for sure They fly up in the valley, so I mean where you seen it They're probably over there too Yeah, I mean they cover a lot of ground obvious Yeah, there's a lot of birds at the beach Yeah, and that is a big ass bird right there Yeah Yeah Yeah
That's probably what you saw I would imagine that, that looks very similar Yeah, so I'll check it out Yeah, it's getting big ass birds Ugliest buck But huge nonetheless Yeah, because it's like when you're riding you know you're going like you know How fast we're going and we're riding and that's the notice that it's big There goes right there What you saw, son There you go, yeah, yeah, that's dope Yeah, that's what you saw right I'm here in Southern California Southern California bird baby, that's what you saw Oh, no, no, yeah That's all that, that question That solves that this for you Saw turkey vulture That's right, because I look when my daughter and I will go To do the archery thing because they have like a archery spot Over at that Bellbow Park So as we're shooting you know we'll see Them flying around up there I've dropped I know you ain't shooting at them No, you can't shoot One they're too high, two
Let someone else bloodshed come back and Two you'll get kicked out I am good with the bow and arrow but not that good So what would you say? I think I could I could really be doing that though I really could I would not waste the narrow but yeah I could probably nail one They're big enough, you know what I'm saying If you just know, they're majestic as hell If you lead them right, like catch them That's when their wings are out and they're just gliding Oh, that's easy, yeah Oh, it's a trip like on my way here Usually I'll see you know a bunch because where I'm at now is Hawks and Falcons and shit not so much the turkey vultures Those are further east from me, you know From where I'm at But you'll see the Hawks up there just circling and gliding They're not even flapping their fucking wings They're riding that little stream And just looking for people's pets to swoop down Yeah, yeah And they're because there's a lot of food up in them their heels To indeed
Yeah, expensive food That's why I was telling Barts when you walked off for a second Today I see a big, it was probably a falcon Now that I'm digging about it But it's a big ass falcon chilling on the freeway lights You know how the freeway lights come in It was chilling right at the top And they do that over there I've seen like hawks and falcons all along the line of The two freeways that I could take to get here They go through these valley type areas and Mountain shit, you know what I'm saying They're all over this motherfucker They're a sight to see too Yeah, it's great They just say you should pour out a little tobacco A good look in here in your day When you see them, yeah Send them to the ancestors Over where Bobo lives, there's a shit load of hawks Like they, and they be I don't know where he stays Oh, okay, yeah He's over by the two
Gotcha, I can just say that But there's a lot of falcons in hawks over there But mostly hawks Humming birds, a shit load of humming birds down there I love humming birds, man I'm not a bird watcher but I pay attention by it I do, I love birds that you know I had a big amount of them Well, you're a bird watcher, you've been watching them Fountain in front of my house When they come in and they just start sipping water It's a great way to go day in Okay, yeah Yeah, word up Real quick Did you know I don't have the sheet in front of me So I'm gonna have to look at my phone It's national beer lovers day to day If you love them beers, psycho-lazy You know what I'm saying I know you love a good beer Or shut up the psycho-lazy He's on the IPA's too for a second I know Bart's wants an IPA right now
I actually haven't drank in three weeks Good for you No, I take it back, no beers I didn't drink any beers for three weeks I did drink some drinks Tell me what it is to kill me But yeah, I'll have a drink beer Yeah, you were never a big beer drinker back in the day You and I didn't drink the beers They sent in T-funk And a couple of those other guys I could not do it neither It made me go to sleep earlier I ever understood that Like a mixed drink or a straight drink Yeah, it wasn't a beer We did more of those than we did beers The brass monkeys when they came out That shit Or the jungle juice Yeah, the jungle juice Oh man True that It's National Salami Day Thank you very much Salami Okay, okay Salami is a good that just very salty, lots of sodium Oh, I thought you meant from the white shadow

And then he got into producing and directing And all that other shit Shout out to him, he was a good guy Good character Is it this guy? That guy Salami The Salami we know is all the way to the right Yeah But that's a different role He's playing something else there Because like you know Is he the son of the old man, Van Pat I think he is the son of the old man, Van Pat The dick man, Van Pat The dick man, Van Pat, Van Pat, Van Pat There was a few Van Patons out there But he was like Father that got into Yeah, there goes Salami right in the middle Yeah, I know Yep The check is what the stuff that he worked on The wicked pitiate should say I believe he worked on the Apollo or some show like that Is that right? Yeah, yeah I don't know how he got in there I remember seeing in the credits
When I would watch the Apollo see his name in there But he looks like one of those dudes like from fame Or one of those series that They were those upcoming like performing arts dudes from New York From New York schools Yeah, you know what I'm saying So yeah, words I mean if you're Van Paton too, you got a little too Yeah, I mean Because father was Well, you know He got a word Boardwalk empire, yeah He's a bit yes, he directed Oh dude, yeah Yep, I'm telling you My man did a lot of shit in the shade, huh? Apparently You were causing mad stress to your parents I wasn't trying to You're listening to this shit Oh man I would imagine a lot of kids got that when they were when their parents found out they were listening to NWA
And shit like that Most especially that Because they were getting the you know they got the controversy button hit on them because of the language and You know the aggressive nature of the music It was a whole package she went through like all everything I listened How many how many It was like probably like 12 or 13 or something 13 albums You know and she was like she was very mad like you bought it with their money right or your money Um probably like allowance you know like his money was there And they paid yes they paid they paid for it and then they threw their money away Christmas money someone gave me or something yeah but I didn't have a job back then So I was like I think I was like did you do chores? We did chores we had like a whole list of stuff we had to do and then look at the chores Like clean the house clean the bathroom like you know mop the floors Like getting your hands and knees and have to scrub like they really wanted you to earn the money Oh yeah we did a bunch of stuff we had a whole chore list of what we had to do and then we screwed up and we didn't get no we didn't get no allowance
You know what the funny shit about it is try teaching your Cuban parents that your friends get chores money and try to convince them to call him They're like what? That's a Yankee shit Or Puerto Rican either or yeah they don't do the allowance and they don't do none of that Yeah no that's dead as dead As we got him to believe in more American things we ended up getting about 35 cents each Here goes your allowance Get on the bus Here get on the bus and go do something It was 25 cents to get on the bus 10 cents for a transfer son Yeah it wasn't much back then it was enough to go buy like some good on 7-Eleven to get your slurpees and stuff like that Some stuff that they were gonna pray for anyways now where did you grow up in South Bay where her most of each We feel bad yeah so bad it was it was it was hard

Pacific Standard time Three Easter get with the get down No saying and we're gonna be bringing the the performance is back. We're like you know trying to figure out where the spaces will be for the performances But we're gonna be bringing the performances back we're gonna do them right here No, I'm saying Not on B real TV to do them right here you know I'm saying if we got a sacrifice to show We fucking sacrifice it like four-legged animal son hot out of here to the experience Oh Oh good lord Like a bear I wrapped up real quick I'm so sorry I've been having to do a lot It is what it is as long as you're not aiming at the condors and no no no no no I'm not gonna aim at the con doors
I told the story one time a little it did involved you in one of our homies Not to know if you remember this you probably won't because you have that selective memory that pops up Okay, because you're aries and I know how that goes tell me what's the story When we were very young We were we used to hang out on different blocks you remember this sometimes it'd be the Cypress block Which we're from he lived on and we sometimes kick it on the walnut block where Greg go with from And sometimes we kick it at one of the home girls blocks over off of I don't know if it wasn't deer born it was somewhere else But it was close to the other and you know a southern and the street over from deer born two streets over Yeah, what if our home girls lived there yeah, we used to congregate there along with our boys And our home girls that would be at home girls spot right they used to be in the dance crews and all right yeah
And we were kicking it there and the little brother of the the home girl that we had to live there brought out some darts He was playing darts. Oh you remember now don't you? Why are you saying that? Salazar. Yeah, okay. So mellow mellow and her little brother have a little contest on who could throw the dart the first time The block in the middle of the street I can see this is gonna go left man. Oh So you know little little bad takes his throw yeah it was reckless He takes his throw and it lands in the middle of the street but it doesn't go that far because he's a little dude. All right mellow He footballed throughout this fucking dart and lo and behold
Barbara's cousin no was walking across the street and walked right into it no right under the titty Oh no that sensitive titty me yeah, that's not the part of it. I could have killed her. Yes, you could have I could have punctured her heart Yes, don't you get it like that's crazy the thing about that the trajectories that I had that they will never leave my memory It will never leave mine I was there. It's mine. I never sleep so perfectly and I'm like yeah when he started to line up with her yeah I'm like oh no Oh my yeah because we it was it happened too fast that we could tell her to fucking get out of the way and Right under it and her reaction What was her reaction was this she's walking across the street doing me
I ran open and so fast I jabbed it out of her Really, of course she can panic really really panic Like I see nothing happen, but I didn't know she was bleeding internally and I'm going to prison for my life she wasn't bleeding it You caught her on the rib fortunately you know to be that hurt she was in pain but you caught her on the ribs Oh, I never forget that shit Look at me still running off of it look at them The cold days in Southgate We were I didn't know that Thank God for that thank God for that I have bugging out Protection around me that's crazy Yeah, you've got an unfair amount of protection on you I got what she forgave you though and that was good at first because you didn't mean to do that Check out to you but notes to her she walked right into it
This is before we had money the bifurc they could her movies they could tell the movies are good we didn't have no money It's a golf there was no excuse for throwing darts in the middle of the street But you did do it with malice it wasn't like you were trying to hit anybody and that didn't help that I was a pitcher Yes, oh yeah That's why like his shit like it went halfway down the block But the projector you see that little thing spinning and she's And it's lining up and you're like oh I'm gonna kill somebody today I can't take it I can't Yeah, that that that that was crazy We could laugh about it now because she lived Who are you telling this story to? I can't remember who I was telling that one of our one of our friends can't remember who it was Melo you lucky that she didn't go in her eye man. No, very lucky But it didn't
Landed right under the titty onto the ribs right here bang alright and she was screaming like a bad cheap boy I'm lucky man she was mad But she got over it and you know let you off the hook and what did you do be? Like oh shit There was nothing I could do I was just like oh shit He going to jail that's it we were all in shock like that he hit that that that she walked into Like Yeah He goes and pulls it right out oh man mellows a braver than me man. I love mellow bro. You crazy I'm glad it came out on the first It was it was it was very ill to see that You know there's certain things that never go out of your mind now that will never go out of my mind So thank you
I wasn't thinking about that shit It'll go away it'll go away. I was there occasionally flashes in my mind and Then it goes away. Yeah, just read out of it. Oh breathe mellow just breathe through it like I should be in prison still behind that shit It was negligent you know you were thinking but you did do it all purpose it would have been juicy time for sure some juicy shit Well, yeah, they could have been that you know, but she was cool and she didn't say nothing. Yeah, she was she was true. She was a trooper and you know and Barbra's parents did say I mean the I know father came out with like what are you doing? But they didn't call the cops they didn't know because we was trying well. Yeah, we were all tired. Well crew nobody's heard nobody. Yeah Yeah, that's my story and I'm sticking to it. They they know that that was just like a freak accident
Reckless but a freak accident reckless nonetheless. Yes, no, yeah, too But you know the things with the stories when we were young man They're kind of like what mellow went through. Yeah, we've all been through something like that You know, I'm sure there's a mischievous shit Yeah, you know Sometimes we're walling out on levels. We're not even realizing you know until you know years later And we pull back and see it or someone says hey, man, so the fuck down Guys are doing too much Yeah, and did you know I can still be a Joe why that? Oh I could tell you that's the last time I seen this guy throw darts Thank you ever picked up another dart after that. Yeah, no, I'll be explaining to the judge Man sweat and bro not even in the backyard where people had a little backyard shit
Yo, well cuz it's traumatizing I would imagine it traumatizes her to this day to be around any dark. Oh, I'm sure yeah Hey listen When I was when I was wiling out There's a couple times I've had guns put right to my fucking face. Yeah, you know this Right in other times. I was the one putting the gun in someone's face. Yeah Oh, I was hanging out with my godfather not too long ago and I noticed that he had his magnum chilling out just hanging, you know what I mean he's old dude What and he lives in an area where Shit happens. So like you know he has as this fucking can his hand cannon right there And he is like hey, I And he noticed that I noticed it You want to see my hand cannon Luis That's anything else all right. Yeah, sure
And he gives it to me. I'm like hope you know I'm making sure there's nothing in it Like okay. Yeah, they're holding it down cuz like even though there's nothing in it. It's his. I'm not trying to like Do any of this or like So I give it back to him and You know Fucking loaded it Unbeknownst to be right at it see him loaded and he's like yeah, you know if any of these motherfuckers come around You know like and the fucking shit pointed it right like oh fuck. Oh, no You know, he wasn't realizing that he was doing it. It wasn't like all purpose But I was just like oh man. Yeah, is this it? Is this it gonna be right here on the couch? No, I'm gonna take one to the chest and that's hot Goes that That how it is for me not like what he put when he finally put it away. I was like
Because I mean he's because he's older you know to me like you know for sure for sure I One little slit Fidgeting with it. I'm like oh, no, I'm like doing this. That's nerve-wracking. Yeah, that's nerve-wracking bro. Yeah Oh, we So if you know that kind of shit is traumatizing when you see that so when I saw him pull it and the barrel starts Going this way unbeknownst he's not you know, he's not he's a little bit older so he's not looking Exactly where the barrels He's just looking through the fucking deal and I'm like oh man. This is how it happens You know me before she did he fucking was that fucking he puts it away Put it over there I was like nice good But I don't want that barrel pointed at me That barrel you ain't coming back from from a 357 Magnum long barrel you ain't coming back from that
Yeah, not a close range. You're not Not even that fucking You know at a distance. That's a big caliber pistol, bro. Yeah You know what I mean? Yeah, and I picked it up that shit is heavy. I'm like how are you? The standard one. Yeah, anything above the snub knows. Yeah Yeah, no, I'll say who Thank God you put that shit away, man. Oh, yeah Yeah, you're like visitation over she later. No, keep dinner Don't have dinner tonight. I'm cool. I just you know like It's that shit somebody pulls out the jammy look you know I get I get antsy real quick because it's like Mistakes happen when you start pulling out trying to show out your weapon. Oh, yeah, I mean all looking by a dude I Sometimes you know if you're not keeping track of it and you should X
Something could happen. I know I've seen it Yeah, so you know like if I have my weapon on me you'll never know I have it on me because I'm not gonna show it to you I'm not gonna pull it out. I'm not gonna like show you how cool it is That slide action. I'm not gonna show you the cat. I'm not showing it to you Because the minute I do that I'm put everybody at risk. Oh, yeah, all of us Like anyone else like if you're packing and you're like oh check out my Nah save that shit. I don't want to see it Keep it where you got it hidden and don't pull it out unless you need to because the stakes happen You know one of my boys Was was you know he had one and in his back pocket he forgot he chambered Oh, and he you know like he is He got into an altercation with somebody and reached back for it and Damn near shot himself Because he forgot that he had chambered
He was about to pull it out just to scare somebody as you know what I mean and like when he pulled it out Yeah, it went off it went off in the right direction. Love for fortunately. It did you know It It didn't you know hurt him or anyone else, but it went off and right at that point. It's like you know Never gonna do that again That's that's what should be in your head. I'm never gonna do that again Don't pull it out Unless your intent is to protect yourself You know, I'm saying don't pull it out to scare somebody don't pull it off to show it off That's what happened to a big poppy I believe David Ortiz Boston Red Sock he was in the Dominican Oh, yeah Oh Shot himself in the boat man, man look at us. Oh, so he shot himself Yeah, he did I remember correctly not too long ago because they because they said that people came up and tried to take him out or something
Really did he shot himself? If you want to look that shit up you can look it up, but I'm pretty sure that's what happened. Yeah Yeah, man, um Yeah, you can't you can't make mistakes like that I'm saying just don't do it. Sure because that's that's that's that's where the We're the change of life begins where the paradigm shifts You make you make a mistake like that forget it look at Jason Williams, right? He was an NBA player potential Hall of Famer They pay he had one of the biggest contracts in NBA history bigger than Michael Jordan's contract. Yeah And he was planning for the nets if I'm not mistaken. He got this huge contract and he didn't you know what he heard himself And they still honored his contractor like well, you know as long as you don't get in trouble We'll keep paid you the money and blah blah blah because you you know put in years of work
For the franchise and you know you you were our guy, right? and uh he had One of the guys from the Harlem Globe Trotters over and a couple other celebrity folks and he was showing people around his property showing his his lake his cars His game room his gaming room or whatever the hell and then his gun And he went to show his special shot gun and blah blah blah boom shot his fucking driver What did he still in jail right now lost all that money Because the guaranteed money went away Because you could he could not violate his contract by doing anything that would put him at odds with the team The league the network all that stuff if he had commits any crime that money goes back His you know he was negligent He didn't kill the driver on purpose. He was showing off his gun and racked it not knowing that he had
Shit in the fucking shotgun and You know who else that happened to who else is my old neighbor Who produced some songs for the Beatles Phil Spector Oh, man, that wasn't that that wasn't that accident. Well, it wasn't he shot her. Okay Yeah, it came it came it came out that he killed her Yeah, he was claiming it was an accident, but okay, it came out that he clapped. He's still down I think he's deep deep. He died in prison. I think and the day or t situation Looking up back there. He got ambushed David Ortiz he got ambushed in accidently shoot himself. Oh Oh, what happened? He didn't shoot himself. He didn't. Oh, David or T's. No, I guess he got ambushed. Yeah, he was. That right. Somebody shot him in the back. That's what I thought the original news was. Where'd you hear your news? I heard that on ESPN at the time and real time.
You know, that's where I heard the story yet. So there's two conflicting stories. One is that they clean it up. I'm sure later, but I wonder what the first story was because the first story is probably the real one. Well, maybe the fake one. So my source, you know, was the TV. They said it on there. My source was broke the story. Yes, PN. Yes, PN. So maybe later on, they needed to clean it up to look, you know, so they didn't look so they didn't look crazy. Yeah, these days are well, yeah, because like that, you know, they don't want they don't want, you know, their biggest player, one of their Hall of Fame players, like he's carrying a gun. Why is he carrying a gun? Right, right. Yeah, you know, he's a stoner, right? That's what do bees for it. Do be what it carried. The strap for him. You know, big, big pop. He's a stoner, right? He gets nice. A big weed head. Yeah, I don't know that. Him and his wife, he'd be smoking that good shit. You know, I'm saying,
Slut's big pop. He's got to be carried. No guns around. Papa, you know what I'm saying? I want to get Nizzy. Come on the show, bro. Yeah, when he's in L.A. We got to get a boover. Word up. Slut to all y'all for being here with us on Labor Day. We know you could be at a bar, but cue somewhere, but you're here with us. We appreciate that. You know, I'm saying, so smash that like if you haven't shared the show out to all your friends until they're going to share it and like it and comment and all this stuff. If you're new to this, subscribe to the channel. All right. If you're getting down with what we do here and, you know, crack that all notification bell so you can get notified when we pop this off, which is again, Monday through Friday, 1 p.m. Pacific Standard Time, three Eastern. I get down with us and this week on Shade 45 will be in Thursday and Friday. So check in with us. I will be popping it off down there. With that, we're going to open up the doors to the insane
asylum. That means y'all if you got a comment, questions, shout out suggestion, pop it off, B. Welcome to the insane asylum. Let's do this. Let's first one is from Outlook, A-O-B. Y'all. Have y'all heard E-40s quadruple album? Do you think 40 is doing too much? To each his own, man, that's all I could say. You know, I wouldn't be putting out a quadruple album, but you know, 40 is doing doing this thing. I haven't heard it yet, but I know there's going to be some slappers on it because E-40 doesn't ever put out projects without. I'm saying so. We'll see what happens though. Four albums, man. That's a lot of music. I wonder how many songs are on each album? Could be he's, you know, I don't know if he's independent, but you know, maybe he's
trying to fulfill a contract. I don't know. Or just, you know, make history. Like, you know, out, out splash Drake. Since Drake put out a triple album on this last run, he's putting out a quadruple. We'll see what happens. It's 10 songs each. All right. That works. That's proper. 40 songs. Salud to E-40, man. Los muertos. Thank you for the super chat. Fresh call for life. Thank you for the super chat. He says, real fans, get in no matter what. Yeah. I mean, look, real fans are in the VIP too, just like I said earlier. And that was a great question that homie asked, you know, um, aren't, uh, so he says so, aren't VIP real fans? Hell, yeah, they are. They're paying the extra. But again, sometimes they be relaxed. They're not going to be raw raw. Yeah. I mean, and when that is dead center, and there's like, you know, 500 of those are
a thousand of those and they're not like as active as the people that are back there. It kind of takes away from the energy. So no rule here on the dark degree of them show. If you show up, and you got the boogey seats, you got a wilder. You got a wilder. Right? That's it's a plan. It's a new rule. There's no saving energy. You got seats. Air energy for what? Yeah, it was hot though. Yeah, make sure if you go to a summer festival hydrate, don't be one of those persons all drink water. No, drink water. Yeah, drink water and wilder. Something with electrolytes, anything, man, just hydrate. No, you got to stay hydrated, man. Your body will tell you that you need to drink some water. But you got to eat, you got to eat too. You got to eat too. Because like, you know, eventually, you'll just like start drinking so much water if you don't eat and stuff and have salt. You'll like just start sweating all your liquids out. Yeah, fuck around the ground yourself. You'll get dehydrated even if you're drinking water. True that. Yeah, you always got to eat it. I know
it's from the barbecue business. A little something. Did you know that it's possible to drown yourself with too much drinking too much water? Probably. I just read this recently. Did you know you could kill a plant if you if you've been in too much water too? Yeah, I have a plan if you give it too much. Oh, that's the same thing with a human being. If you drink too much water, yeah, you could fuck yourself up. Yeah, no, that is a fact. That's why I tell you, you know, if you want to drink a lot of water, only drink up too. Don't drink past that. Yeah. Yeah. Remember when they came out that that instruction drink a glasses of water daily. Yeah. Yeah. My mom was on that shit. I got so damn with that shit. Yeah. It's hard to do that. Yeah. But if you so mom believed any kind of it, it served her. It served her well. You know, yeah. Word up. All right. Next one's from Rev Green. Bring on the Fego. Woo, woo. Yep. I see P. That's a I see P. They normally throughout their show,
they are splashing people with buckets of Fego. Oh, no. And sometimes they're doing the shake the bottle and spray people. Yeah. So when the girls go up there, shake the spray. The plant makeup, you know, with the big, I mean, all that yeah. Clown stuff. So I love clowns. Juggles. Yeah. That's what they're called. Juggles. Yeah. The John, David Juggling. Word, I like when they juggle. Yeah. Yeah. Rev Green says I see P. Killed it along with Cypress Hill. Thank you. Hey, yes, they did. Woo. All right. Next one's from Maria Girón. Don't sweat the technique. Yeah. Why you sweat me, baby? Word. That S. I want to I did that on purpose. I was one drink. I thought it was. Yeah. Well, then to the bit that S. I went to the Dodger game last night. It was pouring down here.
Yeah. Damn. Was it? Yes. It was. It must have been. Yeah, it was a good, it was a good two days of rain. Yeah. Well, that's crazy because they don't allow umbrellas at Dodger Stadium. So I don't know how they did it. Really. Interesting. They don't allow umbrellas. First thing. They don't want someone. They could. Too many fights happen over there. Just start racking somebody with an umbrella. Thank you, B. Or maybe it's lightning strikes. They don't want no one getting electrified. I'm getting mellow Matt Ace. Dirty in the side with the one of the dark. Well, listen, the one thing they're not doing is allowing the umbrella with and throwing darts. You know, they would probably accept those clear plastic. Yeah, but it has, but it would have to have like a what did that like a blunt edge tip? It can't be the point you want to do. Right. Yeah. Brothers. They're worried about people stabbing each other
and they're like, oh, my gosh, shit. Thank you, B. Opposing teams. This next one's from Amanda Foe, question for Barts. You ever get to see a Black Flag gig? Black Flag gig? If you ever got to see a Black Flag gig? I don't think so. There were before your time. I know they are. Yeah, but I mean, I didn't go to like a lot of shows until I got older because like I said, my mom was against a lot of this rap music and all this stuff. I mean, we listen to Beach Boys. That's always listening to Beach Boys. I love Beach Boys. Yeah, I care. It's back when they had like the 50s. That's like the only music I could listen to when I was with them. And then, you know, I was, so I got older enough to like go somewhere. Then I started going to like concerts like when I was like 18 and stuff. Where? Like before that, I don't have like all these younger, I mean, my brother did because he didn't like follow the rules and they didn't pay attention to him as much as me, but me like you're gonna be the good. I was the one that yeah,
had it had to do everything straight. Well, no, I'm supposed to make it. That makes sense. That makes sense. Look where I'm at now. It's great. You're good. I can't complain. Did your mom ever throw away any of your music? No, she never came in and looked at it. She, I think because she loved music so much, she understood that every generation has its own music. Yeah, mom's was always encouraging us to do well. She found the weed through that out. Yeah, that part you know, she threw out. I remember shoe boxes of weed getting thrown out back in the day. When I stalled over 140 baseball cards, those got thrown out. Oh, yeah, that was karma right there. My whole collection down. Oh, I'd be getting money still. Yeah, those, yeah, you had cards. Say in that cards, you had cards, bugs had a fuck load of cards. Thank you. Stop and go word. All right, next, next one, cyber hangman. How can you be against rap when you listen to the beach boys? Don't these beach boys fans? No beach boys like rap. Oh, yeah, no, the Brian Wilson,
all beach boys are legendary, but when we was young, you know, man, all we got to here was what was on the radio and they pretty much dominated that. So yeah, and then later on, then that we slowly got introduced to everything else. Man, so yeah. I get it. Don't don't don't don't don't don't. Yeah, all that surfing music. I remember that. You know, what's crazy is the beach boys at that time when they were making that the aggressive fasciate. They were basically doing what Chuck Berry was doing. You know, they were getting they were taking Chuck Berry's get down and flipping it into their own. Oh, yeah. Well, then I'm gonna have to take their shit, flip it into my own. There you go. Yeah, flip it. I get around the new version. Flip it. I'm not going to get around. Remember when the fat boys did a song with the beach. No, it was with the beach boys called wipe out. And that song was crazy. Oh, yeah, that's not the beach. They have went commercial all the way like the beach of fat boys. Yeah,
it was a bad boy. Excuse me. I'm sorry. You guys. I misspoke. Yeah, the fat bad boy is amazing. Yeah. Luke. Luke, next one. Oliver, a couple men. Be real TV was my birthday yesterday. 53 new bon year again. Hey. Happy birthday. Happy birthday. Happy born. That's right. He says 53. 53. Yeah. Three years into the nifty 50 club. You know what I'm saying? Enjoy. It's next one's from Marbelle. This one's pretty hilarious. Y'all should do a concert for cribs only and see walk. Yeah, wait for us. Yeah, I don't want to hurt my knees, man. Yeah, that is a hard shot. Thank you. So Luke, so Luke. See walk is like you got to have good needs for that. I'll say my shit's shot. I'll have someone with sea smoking though. I have what sea smoking word. Word. This next one's from M
Cous G feed him in shirt, man, low fire, fire, much love to the SGV. Salute. Yeah, that is a hard thank you. Salute. Salute. Six, two, six. Next one's from RS 70. Seeing that crackdown on the street takeovers. Yep. They arrested 70 people. Man. That was right down. Not far from Ireland. They did it surgically. Oh, man, how they blocked everybody all like everybody couldn't get out and they was just locked in like nothing. Well, the funny part is everyone got a rest there. Got their car impounded. They won't feel good until Tuesday because of the holiday weekends. Oh, they're all stuck. They even brought the patty wagon down there to pick everyone up. So they're all prank county. I'm surprised they're not doing what they used to do. The street racers right with the street racers. If they caught you, they were impounding the car and then setting it straight to the to the junkyard. You should get the crush. They impounded like I think 200 cars. So they impounded them. I don't know what they're doing with them. They're almost the point impounding it and then letting it go on a Tuesday. Well, that means somebody's coming.
They got to pay to get it back. Yeah. They'll find a way. They could. But realistically, if they employed that thing where it's like if we catch you doing these donuts and street racers and we're gonna crush your fucking car, that's when you see it stop a little bit because I remember when they started threatening people to crush their cars. If they got caught street racing, yeah. That street racing will always be but it got really low key out here after that because no one wanted to lose their damn car. Talk about fast cars and fly cars though. Remember when you bought your first one? Oh yeah, I think. Remember Richard Mora? Richard Mora. Yeah. I talked to him the other day. He said to tell you what's up. Yeah. And he was wondering how the car turned out for you. For 30 some odd years later, probably 40. I don't have that car no more. That's your big gun. No, no. I sold it to Matt. I sold it to Matt, right? You know what? Of our old school homies. I sold it to dude. And he was so mush, right? That he parked it on
on his block that he was living on and some car whipped around the corner, totaled the car out. No. That's what happened. That's what happened to that car. That was rich or more. You heard it here first. Sorry. Dude, I would have kept it. It would have been in a garage somewhere. I used to see how I'd be used to tick. Guys, guys, listen, the car was fast. It had two two Edelbrock carburetor, Weber's, whatever you know what I mean? Exhausted. It was meant. It was meant to go fast. It was a Toyota. It was this 1971 Toyota Corolla stick. Oh, it was. I used to race. I was so young. I shouldn't even have the car was like 16. It was like like whip it. Yeah, me and my brother used to race back in the day. Oh, yeah. Remember had the louvers. Yeah, there were louvers. Yeah, I had louvers on it. We'd go to Santa Fe. Yeah. Right? There's just, there's this. See, my didn't look nothing like that. That's not fair. It did not look like that. It did not look like that. My shit was whipped up because my man Richard Moira. I bought it off him
who had like tricked it the fuck out before I even got it. I did a couple things to it after, but I was way too young to get into it. I just had that car and it was very fast. Raced many people, got many tickets. And then I give it to him out and he fucked it up. Typical. Typical mush type of shit. Oh, beautiful. He said he sorted you for 2500. Yeah. Yeah. Like 500. It's gonna be mine. Or are you talking about how fast it was? Yeah. Like how much horsepower was able to like, I can't, I can't, without those modifications, you're talking. I can't. He can't disclose that, bro. But imagine I mean, that was five hundred dollars that you paid at that time. I was five G's. I was racist like, you know, other motherfuckers, it had hype, you know, beefed up engines. The only guys that would like, you get smoked from at that point is if they had that,
the juice or they had a fucking Mazda with that rotary engine. Because Mazda with the rotary engine. Yeah. Those things. Yeah. Those are the fastest one. And I would get smoked racing. Those guys, but anybody else, I had a pretty good chance. I mean, until I did it. But brother used to race his Honda civics and median him back in the back in the day. Wow. And and and bugs. Yeah. Bugs. There are some bugs that have the twin-edged old Brock. Oh, remember these? This Mazda's. No, it was a bad Mazda. Okay. Not this one. That's a ugly ass Mazda. This is our exam. That's the newer version of the RX seven. There was like a 70s one, right? It was. It didn't look like that. No. No. But they had rotary engines in their cars. Is where they they would they sounded like that had a fucking buzz in it. Like that's right. Almost like Mad Max. Remember a bad Max movie. You hear that fucking buzz and his rotary shit there. Oh, yeah. That first Mad Max with Mel Gibson. That high pitch. Yeah.
So the rotary engines had that little bit of sound in it. Not exactly, but it had a sound. And those you remember your two fucking neighbors in front of you. The Hatfields. Oh, yeah. The uncle and his nephew, they lived right there and they almost looked like brothers. Yeah, I believe. And they drove Mazda's. One had a Mazda truck. I mean, remember his first name. The Hatfields. Yeah. And these. Okay. So if you ever heard of the historical McCoy Hatfield beef back in the day, you know, our American history is based off those two families. Well, these two guys were descendants of the actual Hatfield family. They lived in Southgate, California. They were mechanics. I think they worked for Arrow. One worked for Arrow's based some shit. Yeah. It's something like too far from Toronto. Working on some sort of engines and shit like that. That's why they they they had one of the fastest goddamn Mazda's on the street. Those
were guys. You didn't want to race them. James James Hatfield? No, no, no, no, you're thinking James Grovel. No, I know. Oh, you know what? You might be right. It might be James Hatfield. Anyway, rotary Mazda. I could not keep up with that one. Everything else I was I was right there. Anyway, next one. Next one. Super chat from dubious, hieroglyphics, new album, all set and done is fire. Right. Yeah. I love the hieroglyphics. Yeah. So I was a mischievous hip-hop man. Yeah. Next one from medicine, sick Jack and Spanish album September 16. Can't wait. Word up. Support. That's all the super chats we have so far. Word up, Luke. We know more come as we go. So we'll feel them and pop them off when we see them. Yeah, man. Do we got submissions before I go any further?
Yes, we do have a couple of submissions. All right. Lock them in. Right. This first one comes from Karina Karina. She said, Resident Piece of my favorite AV guy in the Swedish brochure on the trade show floor. You will be missed. Phil. Rest in peace. Phil. Listen, peace. That is a majestic brochure. Oh, yeah. Heavenly man. Heavenly. Yeah. Almost looks like a doctor. Sue's type of character. Yeah, rest in peace. Next one is from Edwin Velasquez. He says, dedicated to do half pepperoni and cheese for my daughter. I do pizzas in my oven on a pizza steal. Let me know what you guys think. No flop. Halop here. Call three day fermented dough. Okay. That looks good. Three day fermented dough. Pizza pizza. Yeah. It takes time, right? It doesn't. It's like, can't do it overnight. It's gotta, it's gotta be a while, right? When you do like that type of dough. I guess. Or salad. That's great.
That's finishing result. That's great. Yeah. Pretty fancy. I like that. Nice. I like that. That's a good one right there, man. Yeah. Grab the chart. Yeah. Oh, you need a little honey drizzle on top of that, man. Yeah. I like on coming up with that char. Yeah. That's, you know, what's up? Honey drizzle of pepperoni cheese pizza. Oh, my gosh. It tastes amazing beyond. Yeah. Not like a trace poor. I'm talking about a true drizzle, you know what I'm saying? You don't want to be like sobbing, eating the eating the pizza like a pancake. I'm going to need some garlic on that. Okay. Hey, green. Okay, Robert, I agree. All right. That would be this should be garlic in the sauce. Who knows? All right. All right. Next one's from Green Days. Cypress Hills Sprite Can edition. Oh, yeah. This really happened. Yeah. Oh, wow. Did I get the memo? Yeah, we got the memo
laid on that too. That's cool though. Oh, sorry. I saw something. Oh, you thought it was yeah. What was that about 20 years ago? Yeah. The rest though. I think it's more recent. Okay. I don't I can't tell you for sure, but I think it's more recent than anything. Probably in the last five, six years maybe. Okay. I think. Did you get one? Thumbs says it's been a couple of weeks. So it's fresh. No, I've seen those cans before. But I don't know. Could be, could be they just released it. I don't know. Could be. Next one is from Inner Realms. This is artwork done by the Hoodies. Sorry. Hood Hippies for a new release by Pause One. Coming to wax cassette and CD. That's dope. I like that. I like that. By Dom Dom The Row. That's right. Dominator. So dope. That figure's taken out. Yep. Yeah. Thank you. You can't barbecue.
Yeah. Rolls that. Yeah. That's what it's hate. Hate. Hate pork. Yeah. Smack the fuck up. Hate ribs. Why these bones crushed? Well. Next one is from Rummesh showing off his cat. Do it. Right on. Right on. It's chilling. You're lying. It's a loot to the cats. I don't have any, but you know, hey, each is. You've never had cats, right, Melo? Only dogs. Gotta get one, Melo. Change your life. Get more chicks, dude. Oh, man. There it is. Straight up. You're gonna do it now. You said it, Ray. You're gonna do it now. Watch it. Yeah, we got you out. The other day he was talking about focusing life. You know,
he got me. Yeah. No more pussy. You know, I mean, cats. Yeah. No, we're focused on career, man. Yeah. Career moves. Legacy bars. Awesome. RS 70. Oh, that's cool. Yeah. I love the go burners. Yeah. The pieces. The pieces. Yeah. We want to see the pieces, man. I could never give my letters down, man. I could draw characters, but I can't do letters. I like that. Not clean like that, but G in that imagination. Yeah. Yeah. She does hard, right, there. That end. Yeah. Nice. Yeah. She does. Oh, B. Thank you. Well, too. Guys, they couldn't make this happen. That's too long. Oh, that's the coke. The um, count of, oh, man, I forgot the name. I forgot what's chocolate. That's the count, count, count, chocolate. So that's that's count, chocolate. But I could see how you would get it
confused. Okay. Can't talk to the day. Remember? Yeah. That's a cereal. Yeah. Brank and Barry. Remember in the mommy Barry. Yeah. All right. Smokes that Max sends us a couple of facts of certain fruits. It's pretty interesting stuff. Mixing cherries and kiwi before bed helps bring back the deep sleep you lost after 40. Oh, wow. Interesting. Just kiwi and cherries. Kiwi is a good. Okay. Kiwi is a good. Jerry is a good too. Mixing pineapple and turmeric on an empty stomach helps fight years of built up inflammation. Yeah. Oh, yeah. You don't want to have too much turmeric. Yeah. That's American. Mixing raw cocoa, cinnamon helps kill sweet cravings without feeling like you're on the diet. Okay. That may be for me. I like that. Put that on the brownie dude. Okay. Okay. Then we got one more mixing of palm and lemon reduces bloating and helps you go without
laxatives. I'll deal with that. Okay. I have to try that one. Hey, no pile. Thanks. One is from stylist reads samurai Jack, dude. Yeah. There it is. That's a dope. Yeah. That's a dope sketch right there. Yeah. Sick. Snoopy Tyson. Snoopy Tyson. I liked that one. Pretty good. Look at the tattoo. That's nice. That's sick. All line. Next one's from tall boy. Hey. He says he got in some nice deliveries. Got that ever last album. That's right. Looks good. Oh. That's nice. That's nice lettering there. That font is fucking awesome. Yeah. Good package. Good packaging. Well, liner notes. Oh, and check that out. Professor Raid. 10 year anniversary for that.
Help. Slute. And those are the submissions we got. Thank you for your submissions. Keep them coming to be real TV contested Gmail.com that with puts a mod man. Yeah. Pete submissions too, because we know we get some of those every now and then and some of them have been good. Actually got an audio submission of this dude named Pete. He may like this like metal track. It's pretty cool. That's here. It's he's done all the instrumentation all by himself. It's pretty impressive.
That's tight. I like it. Pretty long track, but there's a probably does like a pretty killer guitar solo. I'll see if I can go without the word. Wow. Wow. Sounds a little Tony I only like that. It's very black. It's very slow stone orish. Bobby. Yeah. Yes. Over all dope. Yeah. I thought it was dope. It was moody. Keep doing your thing, man. It's a vibe. Hot. Very hot. I like that. Yeah. Sound like crunchy like that old school metal. It's crunchy. It's crunchy, man. I don't know. Don't overcrunch. Just crunching out.
You got a hundred dollar super chat from Tony to stada. What's up, Tony? He says, what's up, gentlemen? I know you got the top grade herb, but who has the best Tomahawk steak in the Soltkow area? Oh, I'm going to say Fogo to Chow on the salt rock. And they heat up this this salt rock. They got a wagyu rib bite, but they also got Tomahawk, right? Yeah. And they put it on a hot stone, the salt rock where they put the salt rock in the oven, right? Yeah. Some shit like the salt rock. Well, they they finished it off on the salt rock. They finished it off on the salt rock. It's like cooked. It's like not cooked all the way. And then they throw it on there and then that sizzles it when it rings you. Yeah. They do what medium rare up to a point and then it goes to the salt rock. Yeah. Probably is what they do. Yeah. Because it comes out pretty medium once you get it. Yeah. It does. That way like you could grill it however you want on the rock. And then they cut it. They do the old table of things. So they say, wait a minute. You mean
there you can cook the steak if it's not like the way you like it. You could cook it on that rock. Yeah. It keeps well, the rock is hot. So like if if you want it medium, you take it off the rock the way that it is. If you want it a little bit more cooked, you let the rock cook it some more. Oh, that's dope. And it's salt. So like you know, it's giving it flavor as well. And it's salt. So it gets a big old piece of salt like like a brick. Yeah. That's dope. To me, that's where we're one of the best Tom Bajoxes is over at Go Go to Shao. Because all their cuts of beef are like you know, pretty top notch cuts. That's good. Yeah. So all the bonus stuff you order like that's an extra item. So those are the best. Yeah. Yeah. So like you go to Fogo and get like the full experience and that's when they're bringing out hello. The the swords with different cuts of meat and they're all top notch, right? Put on the menu. They also have a thing where if you don't necessarily want to do the full,
there's three different options. And then those things are actual options. The the salt block combination where you want to get the YG rib, which feeds two or three people maybe four. And so does the Tomahawk. But excellent. And then when you know, parts over here, you know, decides he's gonna rock a Tomahawk. He's got one of the best. Word. Yeah. I make I make pretty good Tomahawk. I know you do. Yes you do. But I would say as as a commercial location like a restaurant or something. I mean, I don't have a lot of people don't even sell Tomahawk's around in LA. But yeah, but Fogo always does and that's a really good one. Yeah, that's right. They're consistent. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, there's certain state houses that that have them, but to me, yeah, there it is, baby. That's Fogo second to nine. This is the photo. Yes. And on that salt block, boy, the salt block is real. You could buy those on
at on Amazon and do the same shit. Yeah. We had the presentation because they'd like bring it all out sizzling. Oh, yeah, they cut it all up and stuff. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah, it's awesome. You could also go to a lock and key social drinker. They have a pretty good Tomahawk. There you go. Okay. Right. And like Southgate down the area. Word. All right. All right. And that's all the Super Chessery got so far. Word salute. You good, Mello? Yeah. Oh. You got a contact over here. Look at his eye. Look at him. I got a contact. Well, I'm looking at. He's thinking about that cat. I got to be overblast. He's thinking about that cat. He's no, he's thinking about that goddamn Tomahawk. I am shit. Like that. That made me hungry. Right. No, I'm thinking about how you see that's what I was on stage. The other night I was thinking about how high I was. Oh, Jesus Christ. And you know,
like it wasn't any, you know, higher than I normally am. It's just that the weather, the heat made me feel like I was much higher. I was ready to. Look, our usually feels like it goes by like this for us because we're usually doing an hour, 15 hour and a half. Oh, yeah. Last last night, or excuse me the night before felt like an hour and 15 just because it was so hot. It felt like it was dragging, but it wasn't. But it was a good night's loot. But it was humid. It was, it was, it wasn't, it wasn't as humid as it could be. Hell no. I mean, I think we got a little bit, I think right now here today in Cali, we're a little bit more humid than they were when we were out there. Really? Okay. Okay. Yeah. It must be really humid tomorrow. Yeah. What are we going to say, no? Well, fucking we got me on some NK ultra shit. Wow. You're programming yourself over here.
I was getting, I was getting programmed. Like a mother. Oh, man, you guys are making me laugh. You know what's crazy is that we had a, they'll female low pes up in it's low pes, right? Yeah, female low pes. Yes. We'll see where the box are. Yes. And I liked that he noticed something that that I had been saying for a while. You know, like because he was asking questions when he was here and like when people are engaged like that. And he was, and he was like, yeah, you know, like what you guys do on stage, man, you guys got to keep in shape for that, right? Because I've noticed like when I see your shit, like you're all over the place and you're moving to, you know, and I said, yeah, you know, like I trained for this. You know, like up tempo songs and just to be fit one to be healthy, but also to be able to go up there and perform just like an athlete, you know what I mean? You trained to do what you do. So I take that and apply it to
how I get down on stage. I train to be able to do what I do on stage. I could go by off of what I know, um, experience all the, you know, all those things and not do the exercises and just go. But I already know that that's going to take away from my mobility and moving around and breath controlling all that stuff, right? So I train like an athlete or somewhat, yeah, right? Because I've always trained and I always did different style of trainings, but like a different training style, excuse me, uh, to be able to function the way we function, right? So I'm glad he noticed that because normally people don't notice that shit, but I think if you're an athlete and you see the way certain dudes get down, you know, oh, they do something to be able to keep up with this type of course. Yeah. It's easy to see. Yeah. When I look at you all, yeah, from a distance from not
you know, the thing is our crew's always had legs because we used to run basketball games all the time. People don't know that shit is we, we had like, you know, our neighborhood team and we go out and play against the other neighborhoods, whether we were playing at the high school or we were playing at the park or we were playing at the elementary school dunk courts, where we just wanted to stun out and dunk on each other because the divorce could hit that 10. Yeah, like a 10-foot room. I could touch it. I could not turn it up. I didn't have those kind of hops, you know what I mean? But we would play all the time, so we're constantly running and gunning. And you know, I think that, you know, from the very least, that's how we started to get into, you know, you know, like getting fit working out, like just constantly moving and doing something. You know, that's why we were so thin back there because we was constantly running games. That part. And barely eating because it was broken. Yeah, smoking. Smoking, yeah.
I'd be smoking. And be smoking. Before we go play, I'm sort of surprised our hearts didn't explode back then. Yeah, right. We got very lucky. God was looking out for us. Gee, let's say I tell you. Look at you. Yeah. There was some days there. We didn't turn some shit over. Well, you guys, the block was different in the daytime than the nighttime. You guys, yeah, man, guys did it everything. Yeah, we was always high though. True that. Just high off different shit. That's all different. Yeah, you don't want to know. We want to thank everybody for getting down with us today. Dr. Great, um, show we we will be back tomorrow at the rest of the week. So, um, pop it off with us. Tell your folks, you know, spread the word. Get them into the church. Dr. Great, um, all right. Let's go pass that positivity around. It's important, man. Um, you know, sweep that negativity right out of the house and on to the street. And don't subscribe to it.
Subscribe to pass and love around to others. You know what I'm saying? You want to be loved. You got to give love to I'd millow. I can't read more with that. Um, yeah, I just want to say peace. Love the brothers here today. The brothers in the back make it sound right and exact. And they could do. Be wild. Be really, uh, parts. Man, look, uh, I just want to send a special shot out. I'm going to keep a short special shout out to, um, Sophia up in the Bakersfield area who came down to see my show yesterday and, um, it was like blown away. A very special fan. Very blessed to have a fan like that. Um, shout out to her. Shout out to you. Keep doing the positivity. Spread the knowledge. Shout out to wisdom. Belize to understand it. Peace. Shout out to God. Thank you, Mr. Dom. What up, Bart's man. Uh, thanks for having me today. And, um,
I do have one more pop up, you know, like, this, never honestly, this, this is one of the last pop ups before I'm not doing no more. So it's gonna be September 20th at Trustee Gut Brewing and Redondo Beach. So like in two weeks, basically. And then there may be one more after that. But, and I'm doing Thanksgiving orders. Those are available. So he wants the order for Thanksgiving, going to Bart's barbecue.com. And, uh, then after that, I'm not, I'm really not doing barbecue. Probably no more after, after Thanksgiving. Because that's, that's kind of the end of, at least of me end of an era end of me cooking barbecue. I mean, I, I, I am going to do some other things, like burgers and some other things for people that hit me up, you know, but yeah, I won't have him more smokers do barbecue. So, so you're selling all your smokers. They already sold. Swavisito bought one of them. And then, uh, I sold one to another follower, like several months ago. I feel like there'll be another smoker in your life. Maybe it's a weed smoker. I'm doing other stuff right now. So, like, I'm much happier, uh, not doing barbecue all the time.
Because it was, it was destroying my body. All right. So now I'm actually can like work out now. And I ride bikes with Dom and like do a bunch of walking and stuff like that lately. So, it took me like five months to get my body back in order. So I could just start doing riding bikes and stuff. Because I was, I was jacked up for like doing it every day for like, you know, 10 years now, you know. So, I mean, I'm surprised I'm still alive, but honestly, because it's brutal. Take a break, you know. So, yeah, I'm just chilling now. Wow, word up the more events. All right, doobie. I just want to give a big shout out to everybody. Happy Labor Day weekend for joining us on the Dr. Green thumb. Be mellow, barbed a dominator, Ray, Aiton, Drow, uh, Everlast, Strong One, C-Blaze, everybody, man. Just, uh, just thank you, man. Word up. Love y'all. Word up. Take care of yourself. Let's wall of that.
