3:03It's been in a movie, but I'll tell you what, no one knows. It was probably probably 12 years old, the living years old. When was the boat lift in 80 or 80? 1980. It was eight. I was 10 years old. I was 18. I was 18. I was 18. I was 18. I was 18. I was 18. 18. It was eight. I was 10 years old. We went across from LA to Florida. My mom could go on the boat lift and bring her family back from Cuba when they were letting people out. It was a three, four day trip. I was out of school when they made this trip. When we were going through one of them, I don't know if it was Texas or whatever, we've seen three tornadoes, but way the hell off.

4:05You could see them forming as we're going down the 10 off in the distance. It was three of a rock. But that's the closest I've seen. That was quite a trip. That was the first time I ever traveled from one coast to another. 10 years old in a van. My father had a fly as a van. In him, my mother and one of their friends, they brought, drove, like, traded, driving. They made it in like three days or something like that. You can do it three days. Damn. That was my first time in Florida at 10 years old. It goes key west or something. Okay. Yeah. Yeah, the keys, man. Or wherever the lift was happening. Yeah, they left out of the keys 90 miles from there. Yeah. Holy shit. My mom did that same trip. I heard nothing but stories about people falling in the Gulf, storm into the water and the

They went into this bar for a second to use the restroom or whatever. My father came out of X. He was going to shoot somebody in that place, man. They got into like some altercation over my mom. And he came back to get that pistol and, you know, mother stopped him from going back in. And it would have been a short-lived trip. I remember that. Oh, my father was crazy like that, dude. Yeah. He was not afraid to get into it and, you know, into some shit real fast. I remember meeting him a couple of times. He's a big, scary dude. Yeah. Oh, yeah. To us, when we were younger, yes, he was for sure. But yeah, that was a crazy trip.

6:06I didn't see how long did it take for your mom to come back? I like a week. A week? Yeah. That was pretty lucky. We didn't see my mother for like months. Oh, shit. Yeah, she had to go through all that shit in there and, you know, how they had the, it was like the camp to bring them in. Oh, yeah. Had to go through all that shit. All that shit in Scarface, that stuff was real. Yeah, that was real. I mean, the camp wasn't, but the concept that it had and, you know, that little concentration can't fit in a minute. Yeah. It was like a lot of the mother. Yeah, toss them all in there. Yeah, my mother, my grandmother, one of my sisters, my two uncles in their immediate families that they had, you know, they both had wives and a couple of kids. They all spend all that time and my grandmother, they spent all that time in those camps. I didn't see, yeah, again, I didn't see my mom for months. Oh, shit. That's running around wild. That's giving my grandmother hell. Oh, and she, yeah, she was tough too, boy.

7:10I bet. She had not played that. She had to be my father's mother did not play games. Oh, yeah, she was wild. I believe you. Yeah, my whole family was pretty fucking wild. I'll tell you that right now. But yeah, when that boat lift happened, yeah, that's, that was my first trip. All the tornadoes, not quite hurricanes, but I'd never seen that before. Yeah, she was nuts. Shoot, there's a bunch of those inside of hurricane. I mean, I mean, I feel like in our lifetime, we're going to see a hurricane in Cali, bro. Like the way the weather's being so fucking weird, I feel like. Did they have one last year or something? It was a small one, but they had it, right? No, I don't think so. Not that I know. I don't know. I feel like we're going to see it. Yeah, I mean. You know, what I did notice though, that like when we were in Oklahoma, it wasn't as muggy and as humid as I thought it would be when I got home, it was actually humid and muggy.

8:13Like not as bad as Miami or anything like that, but what you would normally feel in certain parts of Texas. Yeah, yeah. You know, like, because there's certain parts of Texas, it gets, you know, it gets pretty muggy. Yeah. I live in Huntington, Beach, and it's always like at least 15 degrees cooler. Out there because it's right by the beach. Water, water, yeah. And today, not today, man, past few days have been in the 80s, close to 90. I'm like, oh, it's the first time in my like six years of staying out this way that I feel he. Like, I mean, I know that's not a lot, a lot of heat, but for Huntington Beach, I feel like it the rest of the fucking, when you're feeling heat by the water, it's hot everywhere else.
