Dave McGinnis: Titans Legend Passes at 74

On April 13th, the Tennessee Titans just announced the passing of Dave McGinnis on April 13th.

He was 74 years old, a long time NFL coach, and their beloved radio color commentator.

McGinnis fought a tough illness that put him in the hospital back in March before he passed.

He handled color commentary for the Titans' broadcasts from 2017 through 2025, teaming

up with Mike Keith for most of those, years, and then Taylor's Arzor.

Earlier in his Titans days, he coached linebackers from 2004 to 2011.

Before that, he led the Arizona Cardinals as head coach from 2000 to 2003, finishing

with a 17 and 40 record over his career stops.

He locked 30 years total in the NFL, kicking things off in the 1980s with the Chicago Bears

under Jeff Fisher, who later coached the Titans.

The organization highlighted how his fire for the game lifted everyone around him.

McGinnis leaves the last thing mark on the franchise, and as they mourn, his influence

keeps echoing through titanation.
