Now now it's interesting with her because she was sitting in a chair and the dogs. The dogs don't know. She's every dog would stop at her chair, sniff her chair and like P 100 like every single dog was stopping at her. And it was every single one. It was it's she's doing her job. And just that there would be a Saint Bernard right here. There would be a you know, a corgi at her feet. I imagine like the first two or three are like this is cute. The dog number 412. Yeah. Yeah. You're like, okay. How am I going to get through this with all these dogs wanting to be on camera. But at the end of the day, I also am a dog lover. So I'm like, Hey, if I get to be at a baseball game today for work and there's dogs, right? Kind of the perfect medium. But I know you were kind of like over it by probably halfway through the game. It sounded like I was. Yeah. I was well, we walked out to center field. I I'd always wanted to know what center field seats were like our first row of the outfield. I never sat

1:05:51there. Yeah. So we bought our main seats were behind the dugout. And our secondary seats were in the out. So we went to the outfield. That's where all the dogs were. And it was a lot of it was so much. It was so much. It was like. It was like the cowbells in this to be state. What you felt like. So it's that what I was like. I'm just trying to find like a I've never never been in a game. What a cowbells are a time on or tradition to go back a hundred years celebrating our our past and our future. So I don't know really how dogs really dogs only around for a really long time. Dogs were in 1955 dogs are the dogs might have come before the cowbell. I don't think dogs came before it was their first dog's or cowbells. Also branded the Camario Taylor pass that you were talking about and everything. And so he was he was part of, of course, the association of women's broadcasters at Penn State. Your thoughts about that. So I should for women in sports media, you keep butchering the name. It's called you can just say awesome. Correct. What is called? It's called awesome. So Conner Griffin joined awesome. He joined awesome. I assume you were an awesome. So it's funny because I was never actually officially a member. But you showed up. No way. They female broadcaster. The actual woman. It's not a member. I feel like I eventually was. And I did. I have gone back and I've spoken a lot. I know all the people in there. They were wonderful. But I went into college thinking I was going to be a doctor.

1:07:59All these types of things like different stuff. So I just wasn't as privy to all of the clubs. You could be a part of it. First, and then I started finding out about stuff. The professor who is ahead of awesome, though. Conner's defense is a man. And he is awesome. He's so supportive of women. And he brings in like the best people to talk to everybody. And so supportive. And they did try to encourage more men to be a part of it to just showcase their support for females in the industry. And also give them great networking opportunities. He was just the only one smart enough to take advantage of it. Yeah. Look where we are now. How did you take it? He is. Yeah. Look where he is. What would you think of Conner Griffin in college? These couple of years younger than you? Yeah. Right. Okay. He reached out to me his freshman year when he got to campus and said that he wanted to work it. I was basically his. He was trying to use me as a plug to get into athletic department. No. I 100% but that's okay. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. I mean, it helped obviously. But at the same time, PJ Mullen, TJ. Why did you? Why did you?

1:08:59I'm not for never because that's the reach out for somebody. Why? If not for networking, why would you reach out there? Yeah, it was it was the network obviously. But at the same time, why is that no dealer job or anything like that? I don't think she said that you. Okay. Good job. I think he was he was. So what we had built at Penn State essentially was something that other campuses hadn't done. We had student reporters getting to do things. And I was one of the test dummies that felt like essentially to start that program. And so it was pretty known among students on campus. Hey, this is she gets to be on the sidelines of Beaver Stadium every Saturday. Yeah. As like a freshman in sophomore and college like this is pretty cool. And so he as well as a lot of people that would come to campus. I'd get a lot of those messages of, hey, how can we do it? You do one day? What are the proper steps to take? We want to do it. It was very polite, very professional. And ever since then, it felt like I got to kind of mentor him along the way. And eventually work with him and see him grow. And I know you guys want me to see sit here and say all the funny things about him. But I actually really never like a. Hey, I was thinking maybe Friday night. We never get the. Yeah.

1:10:00Never never that. I never that. How many women in the club probably too scared to ever ask how many. I don't know about that. Yeah. How many women do you think he had on? He's an ally guys. I never. You make you like that. Can you imagine this though? If you think of like women in sports media, right? You just had like Taylor McGregor sitting in this chair, things like that. We're not like we're kind of an intimidating bunch to walk into. We're very much like I don't need you. I'm independent. I've got my thing going. Right. God bless any man who walks in that room and thinks you're just going to be like, let me take you on a date Friday night. You'd be like, well, let me tell you. Yeah, let me. Buddy, I will actually be at the basketball game on Friday night doing my own job reporting that you wish you. Yeah. So honestly, I don't know if anybody would have. Well, that's what Conor said out of respect. He went on zero dates and four years. No. Zero dates within the associates for women in sports media. Yes. There were dates outside. No, no, no, that she meant to you. Over at Chams. It was a different thing. Exactly. Hannah gets it. Conor joining awesome to to knock at dates, put the steel their jobs.

1:11:04And that's why I said what I said earlier about stealing jobs because they were absolutely going to turn it into that. What? That whole angle. What do you talk? We've had one angle on this. Yeah. One angle is you got it. But if one, what's a pretty women over here, is that I'm going to join that group. But if one angle gets shut down, which Hannah just shut down that one angle, there's another angle that opens up and you guys go down that route. We're regardless of whatever the case is. Let me just say something. It's not to paint me in a bad light here. Hannah shut that shut down that angle from her perspective. Right. From her. And to be honest, she wasn't even in the club. She said. I had been saying the past couple of days. I was like, I think she was in the club. But like you showed up to some of the the networking situations and the guest speakers and stuff. I didn't actually know you had to like pay to be in that. I paid poor to like afford it. I saved every penny for like, you know, you mentioned something interesting. You said you didn't that's not what you were going to do when you got college. You were going to be a doctor. I was going to be a doctor. So what made you flip and get into sports broadcast? It never felt right. If that makes sense, I was going to go, you know, be a nurse or play soccer

1:12:07somewhere or do something. But then I went to a Penn State football game. And of my senior, well, it would have been my senior year of college. My cousin and uncle were like, your personality before you commit to a college, just go see a Penn State football game. Am I doing my dad grew up wrestling at Lock Haven at the time Penn State and Lock Haven were like rivals. They're obviously not anymore. But at that time, so my family hated Penn State, hated everything to do with Penn State. My mom went to pit everything. So this was very controversial for me to go to a game. I went to the tailgate. I didn't even make it into be your stadium. I came home that night, put an application into the school and was like, I need to go here. I don't know what it is about it. And then that summer going into my freshman year, I shadowed ESPN when they came to I'm from Latro, Pennsylvania. So where the Steelers do all their training camp. And so they came Friday night lights at our high school, do a practice. I got to shadow all of like the ESPN crew there. And I walked away from that being like, I don't know how I get into this. But like, this is what my calling is. This is what I need to do. And then that's what I, that's what I did at Penn State. Yeah, it was awesome. It seems way more fun to be.

1:13:07That's like the very abbreviated version of it. But it was either like, oh, let's go be a doctor and save lives. Or let's just talk about sports. So I've been, I've been working on a theory that either Penn State doesn't actually exist or Connor never went there. Because every single time he's there and he, he phones into the show or he facetimes in, we'll say, hey, Connor, say we are. And he'll turn and he'll say, we are. Nobody says anything. Right. Nobody ever says anything. He never gets any reply back. So either he didn't go there or Penn State's not actually a real place. Which one is it? Um, but he went to whatever place you think it is.
