The Liberal Globalist Order is on its brink and awakening a new conservative age. On Dr. Steve Turley, join me every day as we discover answers to today's toughest challenges and explore the re-vinylization of conservative civilization. This is Turley Talks. Losing Lake Ontario is the least of Canada's problems right now. The same voters who marched the polls chanting, we're beating Trump! Have grown unusually quiet, really quiet. And for those who are making their voices heard, they're not expressing defiance or pride. They're expressing regret. Because somewhere between the podium speeches and the polling booths, something broke. And it wasn't the United States. Stick with me to the very end of this video because you're going to understand exactly what liberal voters aren't saying out loud why their own government can't hide it anymore. And why Mark Carney may have just handed his own base the one thing they never expected.

Remorse. Hey gang, it's me Dr. Steve, your major professor. And join us again to another glorious day in the Trumpian Golden Age that you made possible back in November of 2024. So if you want a front row seat on how you continue to change the world in ways you never even imagine, make sure to smack that bell and subscribe. But they call it buyers remorse. That feeling of regret or anxiety that you have after you make a purchase or in this case, a political decision, suddenly realizing you made a very big mistake. And that is what much of Canada is experiencing of late. More Canadians than ever are regretting their vote back in April of last year when their liberal party was awarded a fourth conservative term. The ultra-globalist Mark Carney has led the liberal party ever since and he's led both his party and his nation into ruin. As many of you know, Carney walked away from trade talks with the United States, which

caused Trump to slap a 50% tariff on roughly $20 billion of Canadian goods. Now as far as Trump is concerned, Canada has unfairly exploited its trade relationship with the United States for decades. They've run massive surpluses while relying on America for roughly three quarters of their exports. All the while they've been drifting toward closer ties with China, which Trump sees as a national security threat to America. So Trump is using tariffs as leverage to force Ottawa into more favorable trade terms and border security cooperation. Carney is in compliance. Crazy Carney is doubling down and he has now announced that Canada is going to hit the United States with reciprocal tariffs, matching US duties, dollar for dollar, which almost all economists see as basically economic suicide in the part of Canada. Carney told his fellow Canadians, hey, we're being tested right now elbows up and all and

that walking away from trade talks with the United States was indeed the right thing to do. Well, the testing results are in and Canada failed spectacularly. Canada lost 42,000 jobs in August alone. 42,000, 36,000 of them are full time or were right as their prime minister was insisting that their country could survive without its biggest customer. Meanwhile across the border of the United States added 162,000 jobs that same month. It's not a rounding error gang. That's a gap that you could drive like America through. Canada's trade surplus with the United States cratered from 4.2 billion to now just 700 million. It's a 40% collapse in a matter of weeks.

That's the kind of number that makes an economist spill his coffee spit out his coffee. I'm sure liberal voters were told that this trade war is about standing up to Trump and what they got instead was a 40% haircut on the one number their government kept bragging about up until last month. So it's no wonder that one recent survey found that 42% of Canadian manufacturers have either moved or are considering moving production to the United States. Another 57% have cut, paused or canceled capital investment. Canada's national unemployment rate sits at 6.4% with Ontario at over 7% all the while America's rate is 4%. It's the difference between a hot economy and a recession. Economic vitality versus volatility. And now we're starting to see some cracks in Carney's own party.

The Toronto Star recently reported that several anonymous liberal MPs, its members of parliament, look at number of swipes at Carney describing him as prone to yelling and belittling caucus members who simply raise concern. So apparently it's not the sweet gentle person that he likes to present himself to be in public. Meanwhile, out west and out east, the cracks in the confederation are showing. Alberta and Quebec both have elections brewing and both provinces have been not so quietly floating more autonomy. Alberta of course is literally flirting with a secession referendum. And the independence bug is back in Quebec as well. So this actually might explain why Carney picked his fight with Trump. He can't possibly win this fight. He knows as the job number show, in fact, I think in many ways, he's already lost it.

Carney picked this fight because demonizing Trump was a convenient way to rally what we might call pan-Canadianism against an external villain right before two provinces start asking some very uncomfortable questions about whether they even need Ottawa anymore. So this turning Trump into the villain worked in Carney's favor in their last national election last year. The idea here is that it will hopefully for Carney work again in his favor to keep their country together. And it's not just Carney, by the way, who's been a buffoon of late. Ontario Premier Doug Ford threatened to cut off Canada's Trans Mountain oil pipeline with the United States during this trade war. Four and a half million barrels of Canadian oil flow south to the United States every single day. Trans Mountain pipeline is already running at full capacity. And yet, premieres like Ford floated cutting off oil exports as leverage, apparently without

even asking, cut it off and send it where? Exactly. There's nowhere else for the oil to go. It's not a switch. It's a pipeline. You can't just point it at China because you're mad at Washington. I mean, again, it was badly absurd. He doesn't even know how oil works. It's bizarre. By the way, this is why Chevron just sank $7 billion in the Venezuela while quietly selling off their Canadian assets. Companies aren't leaving Canada because of some abstract ideological principle. They're leaving because Canada's liberal party can't guarantee a stable regulatory environment and businesses don't invest in chaos. Just ask California. Just ask New York or New Jersey. They're all learning the same lesson. And as it turns out, so are Canadian liberals. They're learning their lesson as well. Many are done with Carney. Wait until you see this. Karney Sox. I regret voting for the Liberal Party of Canada in this last election. Karney Sox, I do not care if Pierre Polyevra was going to be worse because he didn't win. And he is not the current Prime Minister. Karney Sox. And I think all you stupid cultists need to crinkle up your brain again. Use it for critical thought. Book at the very bad things Karney is doing. I don't care about Pierre. He is not the Prime Minister. He also has a leadership review coming up in January. Let's see how well that's going to go. Now just shut up. Yelling, we didn't have any other choice. Is not a rebuttal to the bad things Karney is doing right now. He is in office. Here's why Karney simply can't win this.

If you think he sucks now, you have no idea what you're in store for. Roughly 70, 75% of everything Karney exports goes to the United States. Three quarters of their exports are bought by Americans. By contrast, roughly 14% of US exports go the other way to Canada. While 20% of Canada's entire GDP depends on selling to Americans, only about 1.5% of America's GDP depends on selling to Canada. That's not a trade war. That's a man arm wrestling a bulldozer and calling it a rivalry. If Canada were somehow annexed tomorrow as a 51st state, our 51st state, its per capita GDP would rank 50th out of 51, ahead of only Mississippi. Texas alone with a far smaller labor force produces roughly what the entire country of Canada

produces. And we're already seeing Canada completely capitulate by the way. You know this precisely because they've got no choice. You may have heard about this, but for nine years Canada refused to certify the Gulf Stream private jet, right? Widely considered the best in the world. And it refused to certify Gulf Stream because it competes with their own private jet line Bombardier, nine years of legal fees, $60 million spent trying to get certified. It went nowhere. You've slapped a tariff on Bombardier and two hours later, what do you think happened? Gulf Stream was certified. It was that simple. That's the power of, that's the power of terrifying a country dependent on you for 75% of its exports and 20% of its GDP, which it is now losing with their latest jobs report.

So all this talk about Canadian sovereignty and elbows up is all nonsense when confronted with the cold, hard reality of basic mass. So here's what liberal voters are waking up to. They were promised a globalist technocrat who would out negotiate Donald Trump and protect Canadian dignity. Instead they got 42,000 lost jobs in a single month, a collapsed trade surplus, a recession level unemployment rate, manufacturers fleeing South, and two provinces publicly questioning whether auto was even worth staying attached to. Meanwhile Trump is out there casually renaming one of their great likes and posting embarrassing memes of their prime minister because he knows exactly how this ends and he's having fun watching Canada figure that out the hard way. The sooner carney voters accept the basic arithmetic, again 75% versus 14%, 20% of GDP versus

1.5%, the sooner their groceries, their gas and their jobs might actually start getting cheaper again. Until then, enjoy the view from Lake America.
