Ike, Spike and Fritz — Hour 4: Jalyx Hunt Announces New Weekly WIP Show. Machine-transcribed; use the interactive transcript above to jump the player to any line.
It is the WIP afternoon show with Ike Spikenspritz, special there is the varsity. Thanks for listening on your radio, 94.1, and streaming live on the free Odyssey app. I said we'd have a special guest at five, yet Elliott walked in again. I know he just had to finish our debate from earlier. Yeah, the people required. But in studio with us, Eagles-Edge J.Lix-Hunt, as we announce that starting Monday at Chakies and Peats, J.L.Lix will join Elliott and I for the J.Lix-Hunt show, every Monday from 6 to 7 presented by Miller Light. It's Miller Time Eagles fan celebrate responsibly. We are looking forward to it J.L.L.L.L.I. I'm looking forward to it, and I'm super excited. I'm super nervous too. I was just telling Elliott, I've never been a part of a radio show before like that. I've been interviewed, but I got to be a radio personality. You've got to add it to the list. You gotta bring the takes now. You gotta bring the takes. I've gotta bring the takes. Yeah, got to bring the takes. Yeah, got to bring the takes. Okay, okay. This is in a locker room interview, You know, we need some opinion, Terry.
I can't give two how to take. So I want to mess up a lot of room. I can't accept the lie. I'm gonna say keep the takes. Yeah, keep the takes. Well, if you got takes about anything else, we'll take those. Okay, I can do that. And then there's four movies, whatever you want. So yeah, we're excited to have you, man. It'll be, and in the middle of the cheekies, so it's not just on the radio though, there's the added, like, I don't mean to say pressure, because you play in front of 70,000 people, but we're in the middle of the cheekies, so there's people staring at you while you talk as well, so there's that pressure as well. That's easy. Okay. In the sky, don't lie. I always got it. I mean, in practice. Yeah, so that's okay. I'm cool with that. All right, that's acceptable. So what made you want to do it? Like they came and they asked you, what was the, going through your head? Is it, why would that, this be something you'd want to do? Complete, honest-ass? Yeah. No. I don't want to do this. I've never thought to be on a radio show before, but then I talked to Jordan, BG influenced me a little bit,
you know, BG is the vet. I can't use the vet. So to know that they did it, those are such great talents to follow. Yeah, I feel like I'm doing something in the right direction if I'm following them, but they all had good things to say. And it's something that pushes me out of my comfort zone. I'm constantly trying to grow as a person. So if this is something that can benefit me on and off the field, you know, it helps with my confidence that it'll help with me on the field, and then off the field, it just allows me to open up and do some more things outside of my comfort zone like this. So I'm cool with it. I think it's a great opportunity for you. You certainly have the personality. You understand about breaking down the game, talking about the game. I think you'll be a natural at doing those things. And you just mentioned, this gives you an opportunity to open up other avenues that you may want to seek later on down the road in your career. I think I started doing the players lounge in my third or fourth year. Okay. So in the lead.
I'm good. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm going to play for the next one. I'm not sure. That's not a bad idea. By the way, number 58 as well. Yeah, we know that. Okay. I'm just trying to help you out. Yeah, I'm done. Yeah, I'm done. I'm not a rookie. Yeah, I know. Here's the thing I make sure I introduce myself to the new five eight every time. Yeah, I'm a good idiot. I'm a good idiot. Every day I'm smooth for the eight. So, but no. I, everybody's super proud. It's the hike. I don't know if that's good or bad. I think it's going to be tough. I feel like an opera man. Please don't call me Mr. Emerald. He's an artist. He's an artist. Yeah, I'll take Honk Honk Honk is cool. Honk is cool. I've learned to accept that as a term of an indiretry. But Mr. Mr. Zanogo. Oh, Mr. Mr. Mr. I got you. Like, like, you Douglas's eight. All right. I got you. I do think this would be great for you, man. I really do. I can say, I did it 20 plus years ago. I've still been doing it. I love doing it. Yeah. And filling out for your fans are the best. You've been here three years. You helped bring them a championship.
So you know it from one perspective already. It's completely different once you get a chance. And you've been around fans to touch them every, every, every opportunity they get to see you and meet you and get to know you a little bit more personable. So, yeah, I think it's gonna be a great opportunity for you. Perfect. I'll tell you that. It's interesting you bring up Brandon. I know the Eagles love to have veterans in to teach the younger players. Obviously, I'm sure on the field he taught you a lot. But even you talking about, you know, Brandon did the show for 10 years. Yeah. A pretty long time. Oh, yeah. BG, I'm a nice one. Yeah. I mean, I think part of the reason, not only is Brandon a great player, I think he's so beloved because of doing that show for so long and being a chick he's every Monday and seeing fans and talking to him. So just curious from your time with Brandon, like, what did you learn from him, I guess, both on and off the field? Sssh. My first impression of Brandon was, I don't know how he does this. He has to be lying to somebody because there's no way he's this energetic, this guy. Every time you see him, right? Every time without fail, whether he's in the building,
whether he's outside the building, if I see him interact with anybody else, if he introduces me to anybody, he's the same person. So that's something I picked up from him. But I also picked up that is a, that this is a moral of a business that I originally thought it was, you know, it's football at the end of the day. But to certain degree, we're entertainers. And when you understand that hat, you understand that you have to be one way on the field, and you have to be another way off the field, and you have to be able to walk into different rooms and be able to handle yourself accordingly. So I learned that from him that, hey, listen, football will get you far in, like you were saying. I don't think BG's BG, if he wasn't able to handle himself out of the field, as well as he's done. So that's what I've learned from him. And I'm gonna tell you, the thing with BG, I'm for sure, he'll tell you if he hasn't already told you. His career started off differently. Yeah, yeah. So he's had the ups and downs and seen the other side, and that's what makes us so beautiful with BG, is that we've watched Brandon grow
from his early years as a player, Dylan with adversity, Dylan with labels, people wanna put on him. It's the first round of bus. Yeah, all of that stuff. A lot of everybody on Twitter. And in Montenegro, it's a carnation to one of the greatest Eagles ever. Exactly, yeah, listen. Most beloved Eagle ever. He's a neck group with those guys. He's a neck group with those guys. So that just shows you how you can build those relationships and change opinions about you just through how you carry yourself and when people meet you. I think Brandon did that. I helped him out a big time. Jay-Lex Han is with us starting Monday, the Jay-Lex Han show with Elliot Short Parks and myself at Chick-Ease and South Philly 6 to 7, presented by Miller Light. I think the other, and Brandon gave us a couple of all-time show moments. Yeah, so. Yeah. You know, there's a couple of them. Okay, okay. No, he was here. Yeah, he was there. He was here. And, you know, personally, it makes me feel good that you asked Jordan about it. You asked Brandon about it. Neither one of them said, do not do that show with no-
Yeah, it's my high, any type of negative. I'll be right back. I love it. All right. But the other thing I think is interesting with Brandon is, like, you guys are gonna lose some games too, right? And hopefully not very many, but you lose some games. But I think being able to, I think Philly, we're crazy. Fans were crazy, but I think we give a lot of respect to athletes that answer the bell when things don't go great. Like, it's easy to go in and do the show. You guys win 37 to three, you know, two sacks. But it doesn't always go that way. And, but I think that the fans grow to really, really appreciate the players who speak after games like that too. So I think there are wins. It's a lot of fun when teams winning. But, but, you know, I think people are also as interested when things aren't going quite as well to hear from your perspective what you see. And I think you gain a lot of favor with fans by being there for times like that. So I've never heard that, man. Yeah. I like that. So have you seen, have you seen Hunt jerseys out in the wild?
Like, not more. I can't say never, I can't say never. Okay. My dogs over there, Jaly's hunt enthusiasts. I saw, I've seen them outside. Okay. All right. Whenever I see a 58, I know it's a toss up between like two people, not in that, I'm not in that conversation. Right. He is. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That guy over there is. But it might be two I agree shirts out there somewhere. Who's the family members who are wearing that? I'm the one with the best. That's how I am right now. It's mostly family, mostly friends. I see the occasional Jaly's hunt jersey, but nine times out of 10, we know who 58 is. Oh, well, we got it. We got to get some people showing up in the show wearing Hunt jerseys. Man. I love to see that. Yes. I love to see that. What's funny is I always tell you, remind me of Trent. And the way you play and you know, you're only Trent to take a fist. You're a little bit better athlete. This is hard to take a fist. Yeah, I career like that. You know what I mean? So Trent was a great past rusher. Yeah. You have a little bit more versatility. I understand what you're saying. That's all I'm saying.
You have a little more versatility. No disrespect to the great. No. No, no. This week leading up to the first game, what is this week like for you? Is it a, do you feel like a normal week or is there an edge to everything? There's always an edge to everything. I was just explaining it to somebody. First week is the adrenaline dump is insane. If you've never played football, that first series, you feel like you're jumping out of a plane. And then the teams that usually win, you know, it's always the flags, the disciplines low. There's a whole bunch of things that happen in the first, in the first week. That's just football. But whoever can maintain their level, a high level of detail is ultimately going to win that game. So going into the week and going into the game, I'm just making sure I'm on all of my p's and cues because you know, it's going to be a lot of gimmicks. It's going to be a lot of penalties, whether it be good or bad for us. My adrenaline is going to be up and just trying to make sure I'm steady and prepared for the game to remain even killed throughout. It's interesting, you know, you starting this show
at this point of your career, watching you through training camp, go from someone who's in the mix-own-do and the interviews top at the podium, right? And you're getting all the questions, like, oh, you're having a breakout year, you can't spend so good. What's that like for you? Not so much the question of, do you feel like you're about to break out? But what's it been like for you as a young player going from some of the who, you know, is a rookie, right? Not maybe not getting a ton of questions, all of the sudden, all the questions about how good you're playing and stuff like that. What's that adjustment been like for you over the past few years? It's been cool, of course, you know. I was like, you know, in front of the camera, especially me, your job is like I was saying, partly in the team, so that's really cool. And it shows me that I'm doing something that's positive. Yeah, I always love that. You know, they will put the cameras in face if you're doing something not positive. Sure, yeah. But that's not the turn I'm going on right now and I hope I stay that way. But it's a dream come true, obviously, every kid. I used to practice, I still practice in the mirror, answer your questions. I always wanted that for the people watching sports center all the time,
prior to ingrained in their mind how it's supposed to sound. Yeah, yeah. A lot of good interviews have a certain rhythm to them with the cadence. And then when people wear off that cadence, it's everybody's kind of tense. So I definitely have worked on just how I'm answering questions. But at the same time, I take it as a grain of salt. Like, especially in the city of passion, passion, can swing either way. It can be real good. We love you. It can be real bad. I hate you. But at the same time, they're asking you questions. So being able to filter that through and kind of like coaches, coaches will say, what you need to hear in very good ways sometimes or terrible screaming. You suck. Which one is that? Which one is that? Yeah. I'm on the switch. I know which one he is. Honestly, dead pan. Oh, really? I got it. About as even as you can go, honestly, he never sways too far left or right. It's always good. I guess that's good. Yeah. And the reason why he's so good. That's why I really try to be like him, honestly. Bike Vic. Energy wise. Yeah. Focus.
Okay. I can't be a five, six Italian. No. Like G. I'm passed that, I'm passed that. Yeah, the way he walks around, he's got the vet appeal to my website. I don't got that one yet. But just his energy and handling himself, how professional and how knowledgeable he is. That's what I like to get like. Well, dude, we are so excited. We're excited to have you do the show. J. Alex Hansho starting Monday at Shake E's and Pete's six o'clock presented by Miller Light. And Laker can tell you this the other guy you're meeting with Rod. When they mentioned that it might be you, like no questions asked, we were excited. Really? Yeah. Well, so we've had you on the show two times. One right after you got drafted and then one for Radio Thon. You just tell when you're talking to somebody, whether they're, that rhythm that you're talking about or whether they're being real with you. And you're not, it's good that you're a great player. But to be sure, the fact that you look like your star is
growing here is awesome. But the, we, we want to do a good show. That's it. And the, the player is people here, Elliot and I talk all week. You, people are sick of that. Yeah. The less of us, the better. So that if you are good at it, it makes it so much better, not just for us, but for everybody listening. And we're so excited to have you do it. We are going to ride your star all the way to the top. So you know, you, yeah. So, so we're so excited and we appreciate that you're doing. We're going to make it the best we can possibly make it. I really appreciate that. I also aimed to make it the best show that we've had. So I can be going there, BG. I mean, the Jalex Hunt show has a nice ring to it too. I feel like the name sounds good. Yeah. It sounds official. Yeah. Every time I don't know if y'all know anything about this, but growing up, there was this show called The Amanda Show. The Amanda Show. The Amanda Show on Nickelodeon. On Nickelodeon? On Nickelodeon. Oh, yeah. You saw what you meant to show? Yeah. Yeah. For real? I mean, yeah, you're talking about Amanda, but I'm going to find her whatever. Yeah. Of course, she was on all that. I think about every time I hear somebody's name and then show.
Oh, really? There's nothing, nothing to do anything about what you're saying. No, I love this. It was like SNL for kids at the time. It's my name when it's showing that you're good at me. I was going to suggest, like you said, to Howie, what a big pimping. The Jalex Hunt show. That didn't get passed yet. I think it has a ring to it though. I think I like it. I think I like HR here. I think I like them. All right. Well, thank you for joining us. We look forward to Monday. And of course, we look forward to Sunday. Oh, yeah. Go get that. Go kick their ass. And then we'll do the show on Monday. All right. I'm perfectly fine with that. All right. Jalex Hunt, everyone. Good luck, Robin. Congratulations. Thank you very much. I really appreciate you all. Yeah. Thank you, man. So again, the show is Monday, every Monday, or, you know, if the Eagles play Monday night, it'll be Tuesday. Cheekies and pizza and South Philly, six to seven, presented by Miller Light. It's Miller Time, Eagles fan, celebrate responsibly with, of course, Jalex Hunt and Elliot Shore Parks and myself. Again, thank you so much for coming in, Jalex. And look to look forward to Monday.
Thank you, brother. There he is. I appreciate it, bro. Jalex Hunt, we got more show to do. Like I said, four hours. The top five and five are sponsored by PDQ Signature Systems. If you're in the restaurant, hospitality, or casino business, you need to do it. You need to PDQ POS system. With PDQ POS, you'll sell more, earn more and work less. If you want the best PDQ POS, visit PDQPOS.com. Yeah. So the top five, the top five, the top five, the afternoon show, or, excuse me, rival reason, involving the afternoon show. Let me get a number five. What? Sorry. Baker Mayfield Sign Extension with the box. I'm sorry. I'm going to give you a solid, we have nine minutes to do the top five. Okay. All right. Is that good? Okay. Top five controversies. I'm sorry. I pointed out to me the Baker Mayfield thing is, it's hurtful to me.
I'm happy for my gag bake. Okay. Number five. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry. Yeah. Versus Elliott. Oh, yeah. That, that, that, that, that, maybe it could be higher, but I think it's, yes. And this is a forever rivalry, bundle. Yes. And if it's not me, it's like, and if it's not, like, it's me, two stays with Elliot can't go by without one of his fight with Elliot. Yeah. Actually, that would, I mean, sound right, if it's not one of us, are you winning? And I think he feels that at the end, where if we haven't, right, he has to, he has a night one. Yeah. And he goes, we're no one to super bowl with. I shall. All right, buddy. Okay. That's a good one. Absolutely. Number four. Now, this started the day that we did side of the bra. We knew how upset was spike was. But as we're gearing up here for the start of the season, it's going to be a very big rivalry between spike and Lebron. It's the number four spike versus Lebron. Well, that's a one side of drivelry. Yeah. So, rivalry is rivalry.
Yeah. Yeah, I mean, look, if this is not my goal, but if Lebron were to ever acknowledge that rival like, you know, my friend, my friend Ethan, who wrote the book about the Warriors, Durant did not like Ethan. And he said that, buddy, then was going to press conferences stuff, which I don't. I think it's more the real rivalry will be between me and the Lebron people. Of course. Yes. The fact that Lebron has. Yes. Well, I'll be waiting on this one. Oh, yeah, this one will be for. Yeah. We have quite a lot of. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. I number three, also probably one sided. I don't know how much I just going to like this one. But Joe brings it up every, you know, every so often, him versus Ike and basketball. Ike versus Joe. Yeah. Uh, yeah. I don't like it. I think you've really talked about it. Yeah, only because it's like a damn net.
Yeah. You don't go away. If you're a flea or a fly or something that I've been trying to shoe, shoe away and it just keeps coming back. You know what, you eventually have to do that net. Yeah. Squash it. You have to squash it. I will tell you, I will say this. Uh-oh. To Joseph. Yeah. Uh-oh. I'm listening. That's all I'm saying. I'm listening to conversations. I ain't convinced. Shit. But I'll tell you one thing you get going for you. Spike taking on coach Cereani. Oh, it raised the bar. Yeah. Yeah. We may need to do a total beat down. A people out there. Spike beating Nick Cereani and he beating a, a snuffin out of you, Joe. Well, you certainly have the easier job. That's for sure. That's for sure. Okay. That's a good one. All right. Number two. Oh, boy. Uh-oh. Definitely. I can jack to sit back and they just watch Spike as he goes through it. Spike versus Herb's phone calls.
Oh. Yeah. Um, I can ever be talking about I produced. Yeah. Or maybe not lately, but usually you're always like, ah, when we get through this, like, come on, Herb. He's waiting for something to peak his interest is what he's waiting for. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, sometimes it takes her a while to get to that. Yeah. It is a, uh, what's the word I'm looking for? It is a practice in patience. He tries to, you know, we've said this in the beginning when I first started doing the show and we had Herb on, I would, I would tell Jack and I. No. This is not going to work. And they said, you have to let him cook. And I was like, let him cook. I had him on for six minutes. And that's sometimes it takes longer than that. And the fact that Herb hates me now has hated me almost this entire time, I think, adds to the reaction. Yeah. That's the right one. Yeah. I think we could number one. Well, number one, I think it's a pretty obvious one. Number coming up, I mean, Sunday is the first game. It's, I didn't include Jack in this top five and now, now he has spike and Fritz versus
the Jail Knights. Oh. I mean, it's going to be a big one this year too, depending on how the season goes. Yeah. It's a big one. I hate being in Jack's corner on this one if I'm being honest. Mm-hmm. Not it. Is it Jack feels a little bit differently than I do. Yes. I mean, here's what. Well, what Fritz's problem is, it's really he's taking on Eagles fans and, and Hurts fans. Yeah. I'm early. Yes. It is pushed him into truly not rooting for the team. Right. Like he is so, and remember, it's tied to Bryce. Oh, yeah. It's all tied today. Yes. Yeah. It's that Jalen won a Super Bowl and a Super Bowl MVP. Yeah. Bryce has yet to win one. And, you know, if we're being honest in the nationals one one the year that he left. Just twisting the knife. And we're all just waiting. Waiting on Bryce. Waiting on the showman. You know, Mr. Do-Nothin won Super Bowl MVP. Well, I'm just, I'm just throwing it out.
Jack's words. Yes. You know, we're waiting for Bryce to win the World Series. Yeah. Yeah. That's about a lot of toe Fritz. Listen, man. You, you may be interested in light of his new news that we just got the Baker news. Yeah. Yeah. Well, they're not signing Baker. Yes. Oh, yeah. I didn't see the numbers. So the numbers out there on it. 55 a year. Oh, really? Yeah. Oh, well, then he's got to be happy. But once you have five over three years. Yep. Oh, that's a, that's a big problem. It's probably guaranteed. Yeah. Probably guaranteed most of it. If not all of it. You know, that makes Baker a liar. Baker said he wasn't negotiating after training camps. But we knew that anyway. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You go away and get it out the way. Actually, I think this means Baker's going to have a better year because he will not be trying to earn the contract. He'll just go out there and be. And he had to play with that chip on his show. He doesn't. Yes. I know he likes to. But that also can lead you to doing things you don't need to do. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. So I, you know, cheer for Baker unless they're playing the Eclips. And then sometimes I still cheer for Baker anyway. All right.
215-592. Good job, Fran. That was a good one. Two in a row. A B plus. Solid B plus. All right. Don't touch your horn. Yeah. Relax. All right. Got to feel good. All right. So coming up next, we will decide on who is taking over Philly Ray's fantasy football league team. I will also get you ready for the Phil series against the Astros 215-592-9494. This is the WIP after new show at Ike's Bike and Fritz. Sunday football season begins for us. Well, actually football season starts tomorrow night. For us, it starts on Sunday. The question is, is your kitchen ready for football? Is your kitchen ready for game day? Be honest with yourself. If it is not, see what I said. If it's not, you got to go to National Alliance Warehouse. First of all, there are a lot of reasons to go to National Alliance Warehouse. I know the first thing that is popping up into your mind and I understand why it is price. So National Alliance Warehouse, first of all, is making sure you get the best price. They have this thing called price chore, which updates the prices in the stores to make
sure that you're going to get the best price. They do that by because they have these two giant stores in Wilmington and Middletown, Delaware, which huge showrooms. They have all this buying power so they can guarantee you the lowest price. That is the thing that you care about, but the thing that you're really going to feel when you go to National Alliance Warehouse, that I felt when I filled up my kitchen with appliances from National Alliance Warehouse, is how their team operates, right? You're not going to feel like you're being rushed. You're not going to feel like you're being upsold if that would not in your price range. You need out of the staff at National Alliance Warehouse, they will deliver for you. Speaking of delivery, they will deliver the appliances. If you need to, they'll install the appliances. And when you go to see them, they'll take you around the giant showroom. You won't feel overwhelmed. My wife and I felt that same way, making sure you end up with the perfect appliances. They have mattresses as well. The Labor Day mega sale, still going on at National Alliance Warehouse, even after Labor Day, visit their showrooms in Wilmington or Middletown, Delaware, tax-free, or go to NationalPlanetwarehouse.com and tell them Spike and Jack sent you.
I'm not getting any confidence with them, but I'm not getting any confidence with them. That's all right. Okay, so normally I want to sit here and debate you about Troy Ackman and your love of Dan Marino. I want to be in this fantasy football. Now look. Well, we definitely know Dan Marino was a better quarterback than Troy Ackman. Oh, yeah. Look at all the rings he's got on his fingers. Look at all of them. He was a stealthy player. He was stealthish. Okay. They should have gotten a running back. Why don't they do anything like the Cowboys did? They do anything like that. He just wanted the numbers. That's all you care about. Numbers. He's the Josh Allen of that time period. That's all he is. Wow. Okay. All right. So listen, uh, uh, look, I'm in the John Johnson fantasy football. I'm in the midday show. Everybody wants me. Hold on.
You would be on the earth. I need to be on the earth. I need to be on the earth. I'm getting this late. Then you ain't being an honest man. Exactly. I would never have ghosted anybody. I was on time. I was prepared. I was ready to go. And what happened like last year with IRISE, which was a disaster. This dude was a disaster again. Would Cowboys have been a disaster? No, he would have been there on time. Ready to go. Spike would never have had to yell at me across the table. Oh, let's get going. I'll yell at you with something. I would yell at you for something. Let's be honest. Sure. There's nothing else. We love each other. Let's do that. I'm spread a little fan. I'm spread a little fan. But I'm willing to be part of this. Goodbye. Oh, that's the name of my my fantasy football. It's, uh, goodbye losers. I can't believe this clown is in two of the fantasy football. It's a really sad, honest day. Part of me once, once him to be an Arleigh, just because it's a funny bit that Cowboys gyms in all the legs, but I don't want him. So John Johnson told me when he texted me to ask me to be in the league, he said, Cowboys gym is in the league, but the requirements for him is that he had to draft
the entire Cowboys team. Oh, I don't think he did that. Oh, because I wanted a Javante Williams. Going to be honest. And I was like, how long is that, is that the real thing? I want Javante Williams. I didn't take on Johnson. You can't just make somebody draft on Cowboys. And then you want to just, you want to give them that. See, by the way, he didn't, he didn't draft all the Cowboys. Well, yeah, does that mean that other people aren't allowed to draft Cowboys? I wanted to, I wanted to, that's the pick I wanted. And I didn't take him, I was like, oh, I guess I can't. Yeah, the John Johnson, no, how well the Cowboys offense operated last year. Yeah. It's mostly off. It's an offensive league. Yes. If you have Dac and Pickens and see the land in Javante Williams, you're probably going to be Ferguson. Yeah. That's even a good tight end. Yeah, you'd probably be okay. 2-1-5-5-2. Yeah, I'm not sure. Gary in Vineland, do you own WRP? Hey, Gary. I want this team, man. I can't go to the draft for the last four years, because my son had a game every night that you guys drafted. And I'm ready to take this team out of the fire,
like the Phoenix, man. Let's go. So you want to take over Philly Ray's terrible team? Yeah, let's go. I got to prove myself. I got to be able to draft. I'm going to be like my son, like last year, he lost the championship game, back to the lab. I don't know if you're family or big game players. I don't know. I made the first two games this year. 91 to 12. We're doing pretty good. Sounds like, sounds like Josh Allen to me. I mean, you guys are in the big game. How does your head not explode with this Christian stuff? Did she not remember the Eli, beat Tom Brady twice once in a undefeated season? She I've realized I, if there's anyone, didn't know why. Yeah, if there's anyone I can argue with with a huge smile on my face and it is her. She is, she is of all of the unrealistic, Jalen folks. She is by far the most unrealistic.
I mean, she is, she literally said they've never lost a game because of him. Never. I mean, he's been in league six years. They've certainly lost at least one. You know, yeah, this is hard for her to find where he is. Yes. Yes. Yeah. Well, five turnovers last year. This is me hard. I'm in the middle of the day. No, she she blamed AJ. She blamed AJ on that game. In part. Yes. Gary, did you have something on the fills or no? Yeah, man, I just can't believe this accruing is tough. He looked like the guy from Major League going down the bases. I hate it. Like there's one thing to, like they were saying this morning how a swarver did the back fat flip and the hat flip. That's great. And then he ran around the bases. He didn't like do spins, do twirls. Stop. Go back. Oh my god. Dude, a guy just irritated. Yes. Maybe takes one of the rips. They're saying what team does the salsa thing? Oh, they all do the dances. Yeah, okay. I don't know. Do you like? I don't have no problem with it, man.
Really? No, I don't. I listen. I've had these arguments in the past about old school baseball rules and disrespecting the gang. I respect the baseball players who feel that way, who grew up that way and that's the way the game was. I just don't know if today's fans, the new age fans of baseball are offended by any of that stuff. Are you kidding me? Football players are celebrating when they get first downs, right along home, brother. I mean, like basketball players, I mean, times that they mugging for a camera when they do something. So I don't know. It's not as big of a deal to me. I think I like the home runs. I like all that. The fact that the Phillies do like, or every team does this, does some little celebration every time they get a hit. Right. Looking at the dugout, I'm like, oh my god. Yeah, we don't say anything about that, Gary. We're over there playing DJ. We're scratching records in there and all of that. We do that every hit. I think the reason I don't get up. I think I'm out. Oh, okay. Go ahead. Go ahead. I'm out. Yeah. What? What is up with the nipple touching thing? Oh, yeah, that's a new thing.
Yeah, they do this and then, yes. I haven't seen that one. Oh, yeah. What? Yeah. Yeah, they do the DJ thing, but they also do a little nipple rock. I've not seen that. Yeah. Oh, when they start that last month or so. Yeah. I watch all these games. I still have. I don't want every player is doing that. I've noticed all the time. More than two than others. Yeah. Wow. Yeah. I guess maybe I didn't notice it. Gary, you're you're registered. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I think the reason I can't get mad at Acunia is because he's trying to get us to be mad at us. Yes. It doesn't bother me. No, and it doesn't it doesn't bother me. Yeah. Yeah, I think the whole thing. Doing literally came out and gave himself his almost standing ovation. That was a call. It's called a call. He he took a curtain call in our stadium. All right. So Fran, before we get to the text line, who do we have as? You're registered for the fantasy football league. Oh, please. All right. No, I got it. I got it. So you Yoshi and Burricham. Yeah, no.
Patton Denver. He said no. No, Alex and Northeast. That was pretty good. I liked him. Tom Hocktoni. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Jack and Newark Delaware. He's the analytics guy. Yeah. Cowboy Jim. I've written down. No, no, no, no. Gary and Gary and Violin. So I, wow. I like the I like Alex the analytics guy and Gary. Those are the three. And Yoshi and Yoshi. Yes, but Yoshi was just an elite. Yeah, he was. You're right. Alex and Gary. Alex, Gary and the numbers guy. The Newark. I don't know. Newark numbers guy. He's the in analytics for University of Delaware. Oh, yeah, smart guy. Yeah. So he's smart guy. Alex was pretty funny. And then there's Gary who desperately wants it. We think. I almost, I wish I had a coin. I like new blood. I also like Gary. Well, you want to leave it to Rohan? That way we. We. Recuse our. Recuse, recuse, recuse ourselves.
Recuse ourselves. You pick Alex. It's Alex. All right. Now it's Alex. It's Alex. Text line. Sorry, Gary. Yep. I. We try to stop him. A text line is brought to you by Benari Jouler. Don't settle for ordinary. Choose extra ordinary. Choose Benari Joulers at X10 and Newtown Square. Online at Benari Joulers.com. Text line. Text line. Text line. We're not going to start with college football. Get real. Spike after talking about his fantasy football team for five minutes. Different people can relate. People can relate. What's next? I need to come in after a three day weekend more often. Elliott's in her monologue as he watched Spike and I guard you about the sea hawks for the first 10 minutes of his hit. Whoops. I just feel like that team was disrespected last year. Elliott and I did a leading up to the Super Bowl. Yep. Yeah. Yeah. Yep. What's next? Are you a guest producer on the afternoon show?
Do you want to know the secret for when your music choices are not appreciated? Join I Grease for his new Odyssey podcast. Was that your choice? Alex and Lancaster. That is a good one. That is a good text. So it's next. Oh yeah. He's a local kid. The pride of East LA. If I could run Los Angeles sports radio and someone brought up Otani. Oh man. Text line coming for you but coming correct this time. What's next? Guys, I don't think I'm going to be here much longer. Spikes vain in his head preparing to burst arguing with Elliott. I knew I was on paper that time. We're filming this one. Yeah. Yes. Channel ranks the entire film. Yeah. She's from there, right?
