About this episode
Is there an upper limit for caffeine in ultra-endurance? Scott Tindal saw that Josh Amberger rode 356 miles at Unbound XL on roughly 1,600mg of caffeine, about four times the FDA's daily ceiling, and assumed it was a typo. It wasn't. In this episode of Fuelin Sessions, Scott is joined by Fuelin dietitian Megan Foley, and they dig into it. They discuss why there's no guideline to check that number against, what matters more than a fixed mg/kg dose, and why the only real ceiling is the one you find in training.
