NFL fever continues in Melbourne

The NFL's first ever game in Australia is proving to be one of the league's biggest ever outside of the United States.

1:02Shane McKenna's reports. The NFL is no stranger to taking its game overseas, but the footprint it's established here in Melbourne is undoubtedly bigger than anywhere else. Ahead of Friday's game, the NFL's kickoff festival will launch at Melbourne Park tomorrow. An NFL museum, interactive fan exhibits, plus appearances by League Commissioner Roger Gidele and the Jonas Brothers. The festival is expected to attract thousands of fans over the next three days. The NFL's vice president of global events, Nikki Yorl says this is something new, even for her. We have never had this scale of a festival in an international market. Shane McKenna's Melbourne. To the NFL, Oli Henry admits he lost belief that I have fell level before turning around his best season so far at Jolong. Eddie Summerfield reports. After missing Jolong's 2025 finals campaign, Oli Henry overhauled his preseason to find his love for footy. The way I sort of wanted to approach the preseason and the goals I wanted to hit. We're really clear on what parts of that season we want to take with us into this final series, but for us to be sitting here and being worried about a couple of losses that finish the season,

The five-eighth will make his comeback from a shoulder injury against the Cowboys in a knockout final on Saturday night. Trindell says he's not expecting to be protected by his forward pack. Rooster Skipper James Tadesco is laughing off his public war of words with former teammate, letrial Mitchell. Tadesco has told today he won't be adding any more fuel to the fire. I think that was my fault. I've been overbated by a classic Danny Wilder special there. So I've played with him against Frelford for a long, long time now and they're a lot of spec for each other. So I was just sticking up from my little half bag, I think he'd do the same.
