Take down the rounds by the score of 27 to 7. And the game really wasn't that close. The rounds might have stood left for a couple of days earlier. They should have gone over like the 49ers did and get acclimated to this because I don't think that was a quick enough turnaround for them. But hey, the 49ers looked really, really good. The Rams not so much as they went to 49ers went to 27.
Seven were jumping to that game in just a second. Y'all know who I am. I'm your favorite. My partner in co-host the Liberty City legend, the bingo ring of fame, honor, the all-time leading receivers and bingo's history, a former pro-bola and an all-pro. They arrived 9.45 PM in Melbourne.
They slipped on the flight over. We'll sleep nine in a hotel for one night. They'll wake up and play a football game in 12 hours. This is some trial error approach. They spent since 15 staffers over the last two years to have tracked their bodies lead to the rhythm. This is the deepening approach. Not turning back now. First of all, which one of those staffers was going to tackle, catch, run, throw a pass? Which one of those staffers was going to do that on you? Not one. And I can tell you, obviously, when something has worked in the past, most of the time, teams, coaches are willing to do it again and repeat the same process. They did this before. I'm not sure if it was last year, maybe the year before they played a broad. They played Jacksonville. They played Jacksonville abroad and they did the same method before and they had a huge, huge success when they beat Jacksonville. But they didn't go this far, Ocho? Right. Right. They didn't go this far. Obviously, Austria is a little bit different. I like the process. It's a little bit different.
I like the process. Shanahan took with his team to get in there a little earlier. Let his players rest a little bit, get acclimated, you know, to the time difference. And I don't know. I think when it's time to play football, you could better, get better assess what it's like having to travel that far and does it affect you in any way, you know, flying in the day before or flying in way ahead of time. Yeah. Ocho, it's already tomorrow there. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, do you know how many times zones that you have to go through? Your body's not used to that. Right. You go with playing 12 hours then sleeping, the hotel and then fly back. Come on, man. You're not taking the series? That's not, no, come on now. Okay. I get it. You want to go to London, you want to fly in the day of the game and all that stuff. But you had 13, 14 hours to a flight. That's a six hour flight. Nah, hell, nah. Okay. I got the way Shanahan approached it. He's like, look, we're going to go over there. We're going to get out by this acclimated event. Yes. Mr. Crocke got way more money than the Yorks. He could afford to fly. He could afford it to fly over three, four, five days earlier, just like the 49ers did.
Get the team acclimated because did they not look like a team that was for teague? Did they not look like a team that was tired? Yes. What team looked fresher? And 9-0. Listen, I don't mean things. What team looked fresher, what team looked tired? I think the 49ers had a number, huh? I think they just had a number, defensively. Obviously they look extremely good. The first half and 49ers were a little shaky. Yeah. Well, once the second half came, Matthew Stafford, at halftime, he might have been what? 4-4-4-11, 4-0. Yeah, he was. Well, oh, less, maybe barely 100-year-olds. And you know what that, you know what that tells you, Ojo? And he looked lethargic. I mean, routine, routine throws that he typically makes them look out to the Vante Adams. I'm like, then how you messing about that much? You know what I mean? So I think, oh, I think the flight situation played a major part. I'm like you. I'm like saying, friend, man, give me over there about a week, five, six days prior to the game so our bodies can get acclimated. Man, you can't make no 15, 17 hour tripping.
Think you'll turn around. Come on, man, they look like they've been on them playing for 15 hours. Ojo, thank you. You're talking about Stafford. You said you've sent 15 staffers over there. What are they doing? They're going to get up right papers, do what they normally do. Did I play in tackle football? That's not the same. You've got to send people over there and put them through the same rigors that they would of that you're trying to go over there and try to simulate. That's what you, when you simulate something, you don't simulate something, you don't take a football player and say, oh, man, this is great. And then say, go swing a baseball bat. That ball player is playing football. Staff for staff. There is no correlation between somebody's bodies that's going to get up there and file paperwork or do equipment work as opposed to an NFL football player that's going to go out there and catch, run, and tackle football. I don't think it's, I don't think it's similar. Now you might have some sidecut somebody that says, oh, that's what you need to do for your body and I'm sure they've done studies. But it's hard for me to believe having played this game. I get it, no, Joe, and what we do, we fly and we get about 3, 34 o'clock, maybe 5 o'clock,
have a quick turnaround. We got meetings, boom, eight. We have our dinner, have a team meeting, have the last meal, and then we go to the band. That's what we fly to the United States. But we're not flying no 18, 19 down my hours. Come on, man. And even when we went to the, when we went to the, if we flew west the east, we would go two days before. Yeah. And that's only three times on. Imagine going five, six, seven times on. Yeah. Yeah. Hey, when you think about it, you look at, you, you, you, if anybody seen Miles Garrett, did he, I mean, was, did he play, he heard, I watched him. There's something going on with Miles Garrett because if you look, all he did was run up the field. He did no change of direction. He did no up and under. He, hey, if you know this, Miles Garrett, normally shaking, you can do any of that. I'm saying, what's the problem? I think they said he got a need, he got a need something going on with his knee.
Well, I mean, the way you, the way you, the way you, Ocho talked about this defense, like it was the next thing that was sliced bread. Oh, nothing to add coming. Oh, man, come on, man. Ocho, we can't hear you. You're on mute. You on mute. You're on mute. You're on mute. You're on mute. You're on mute. Hey, who knew to be like that, man? Come on, man. Now you got cast friend that was you. Okay. Somebody muted me. Hey, Joe, let me tell you something, right? Hey, I'm about with the 49's, we're doing offensively, right? Even if, even if Miles Garrett wanted to do all those moves, he had no chance to, he wanted to get to the ball. He wanted to get to the ball. Everything was misdirection, quick game. The ball is out. Chipping. Hey, line the tight end, have the full back, release the toy side. Get the ball going out. Hey, and also, hey, it's so funny to me, right? Brock Perty was so comfortable. If you notice, he was under center, do you notice? He didn't go that far back and then drop back. It's like he sat in the pocket and was so comfortable with all that chaos around him. I'm like, why are you not taking your full drop all the way back so you can see?
You are tripping. He was chilling. Give the 49ers off into line credit. They did a great job. Even though you neutralize Miles Garrett, you still got Kobe Turner, you still got Fisk, you still got a young, you still got guys that can get up there. I thought they did a great job of protecting Brock Perty. I thought Brock Perty did a great job of distributing the football. He even had one bad throw. Yeah, they said it's not the feeling like this me. Yeah, I'm doing me. He threw it right to him. I'm doing that ball. Go ahead, Jojo. One more thing, Uncle Jo. Listen, I'm not sure what the 49ers did during the week. I don't know if they watched the film from last year. That's the only way to prepare. To play a team like the Los Angeles Rams and probably know what they're going to do schematically based on down to distance and what you see. But them, they M.D.B.s, um, was running all the routes for Puka. Oh, man, you see they were running the routes for him. Now, there was one flag one time, but they put that slingshot move on it. Yeah, it was a better move too.
Long, long, long, long, you don't impede the receiver. It works. So he got he caught in that time, but he still ran the route for him. And just defense Raheem Mars. I don't know what you did this week, but I just want to salute you. I want to salute you. You know, on a great week one, playing against a high-powered offense that we thought that I thought we're off there and put up, you know, 28, 30-something points. But that's a mid-season Los Angeles Rams to put up those kind of numbers. I didn't expect them to look as bad as they did the night. And that's what the defense is and how well they played. A three-and-one of healthy, bolsa, healthy, Lenore, healthy. They got their guys back, Oh, Jojo. You got to realize that defense was emerging last year because so many guys were injured. They had a guy go off like, I don't even know what happened. Number seven look like he twinkled his got like a lower leg injury. I don't know. I ain't going to play in your key. That was his key, you know? OK. That's over. Yeah. It's over. Hey, hey, hey, hey, but I like Fred Wanda. Okay, Oh, Jojo, it's been like every time there was some action going on.
There was a play need to be made. Oh, the music coming. Oh, the music coming. Oh, the music coming. Oh, the music coming. Oh, the music coming. Oh, the music coming. He coming. He both sent him some credit too. Debo's at their ball. Yeah. You know, the thing is, Debo had to learn the hard way. See, Debo thought he was the number one receiver. No, Kyle Shanahan just knows how to use you and make you look better than what. And then don't take this as a knock, Debo, but everybody can't use you. Everybody can't scheme schematically like a Kyle Shanahan and get the best out of your ability. Just to try to feed you 12, 13 balls. That's not your game. We're going to run you on a reverse. We're going to put you in the backfield and hand it to you. We're going to throw you the short one. A couple of jailbreak screens, don't you? Yeah. Hey, we're going to do a lot of different things. He thought he was looking at all these other receivers. I can do that. That's not your game, Debo. You're a phenomenal player, but you're a phenomenal player in a certain type of a scheme. Right. I know a lot of guys don't want to hear that, Ocho, but you got to sometimes you just got to be realistic with who and what you are. Yeah. Yeah. Go ahead, Ocho. Now, I'm going to say with Debo style, the way he plays the game and how he's a Swiss
Army knife. Yes. He's a great and candid city. Yes. He'd be great in LA. Yeah. He'd be great in San Francisco. Yeah. And the only other creative office of coordinate that I could think of that would use him the right way. That's about it, ain't it? That's it. Andy Reed, McVeigh and Shenahan. Yes. Yeah. And where did he enjoy his most success in 49ers? 49ers. For the Washington wants to be a number one. Basically tells him, you know, don't try to sign me. I want to go somewhere to do my thing. I'm not okay. It looked. Yeah. We barely mentioned Debo's name. Debo's a phenomenal player. He can return kicks. He can return punts. He can run the ball. He's physical. He's physical receiver. He's physical receiver. Yeah. And in the ball, you can toss in the ball, throw him on a jailbreak or smoke screen. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. He can get loose over the overs. And you see how he stayed alive. He stayed alive on the on the on the on the on the on the fire drill. Yeah. But I thought I thought Kyle should at the hand did a great does a great job.
I'm using Debo. I thought he had a great game plan tonight for what they were doing. If you notice, they started key on a, uh, uh, uh, Kaelin Black read the ball a lot in the first half. And then the second half, especially in that third quarter, they gave the guard a C-Mac. Yeah. If you notice on Joe, you notice Joe C-Mac put on some weight. Yeah. Yeah. You try to be able to withstand that punishment. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Being lean is fine and good. But boy, it's hard to be, when you are running back to be lean. Absolutely. You stay hurt. You stay hurt. Um, man, when he then start calling the D-Air Tight Tamp if he runs for it won't survive him playing his bass, or he'll not gonna launch it in his back line. The last word he'd care only, uh, the other weapon that he's got at him, they can make it ever further ahead and. Talk about it when you use Eddie woods with it with시면, you know, I could Hertz was many strings and to talk to Steve donner's 1951 times sister to my watch. But then I heard somebody who was 600 years old. EDWARD CONNız will be flying later, movie alluded to it. Sindine 걸 Taylor Strong leaking realizing that one of two中国, who was doing this. In democracy talked about...) He's a mean vertices in, uh, okay. Bing whatever you think Gregiel was. What are you seeing, B蓓alam? They look a lot faster offensively look faster than the Rams the Rams it they look very Lethargic man you can't take no long flight like that. Oh Joe
No 15 17 hour think you from the get off a plane and do some play the next day Joe Man, please come on They ain't gonna like cuz I was like man, they're running backs moving fast out there cuz I thought the Rams run game That they look too head and monster head back there. I said that black curving car and where you got it look Them boy were getting up through the huh But the but the skill position outside of Puka They really didn't do much in the past. I mean Devante called a couple of passes late But it was the game without a reach wasn't really happening, but Puka man Puka so great after the catch Man, you see that catch that he that can tell the catch you made a side line Yeah, and then and told the line back a man get it get off get off me. Yeah, yeah, hey this a so look when you think about it It's rest versus Russ for me or can Ocho didn't do the starters a play all preseason bro I mean, let's just keep it one hundred you know what I'm saying so now this the first time getting live action You had to take a 17 hour flight. Come on man. I don't know what y'all. I don't know what we expected from the Rams I didn't know that until I was watching the game
Yeah, yeah, hey, oh Joe, man, okay, you imagine you know how stiff you are when you take a when you fly from when you fly from Miami to Seattle You still now my not mind you fly from Miami to Seattle. Yeah Seattle back to Miami Miami back to Seattle You just went to Australia Now you tell me you gonna get off and go play a game in 12 hours and look fresh Yeah, exactly Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, wait you know, you know, I pop me half a field. Well, I'd be ready now Yeah, you already still you're gonna need no peel You Hey, hey, you are already gonna be walking like Frankenstein Hey, you know what and we talk about miles Garrett and you know, you say him might have an you know a injury coming out of camp Whatever it may be but they got damn Trent Williams boy Hey, a Trent Trent had him a game that you hear me now he ain't on the play with that Yeah
Oh Joe he had he had miles a few times one on one by himself over there. Yeah, I'm talking about handling it though Yeah, yeah, and he's one of those offers of tackles under Joe especially at the left tackle position When it come to plan elite players like a miles Garrett Yeah, I'm glad we're we have to leave him one on one and that's one of the few players You know what I don't have to worry about him now We lose occasionally if you leave him over there one on one you know majority of the game. Yes, but for the most part Hey, listen Trent. We needed a lot him down. We know he had 23 sex last season But we need to do what you do is the reason why we pay you top dollar. Yeah, hello. Hello, yeah, we need to the kid Step step step. Hey come on now. You know, I'm mad. Please He got nicked up early, but he's still wanting to premiere left tackle than all the football He's not to be played with he's not to be mess with not only is it extremely skilled. He nasty He got a mean street very mean and so he did an unbelievable job
49ers as a whole Brock Perty 25 of 34 205 three touchdowns the one-hobbler little section Christian McCaffrey 10 carries 68 yards Caylon Black 14 carries 65 yards Brock Perty had along the 18 he had 29 30 rushes What to have 174 yards? Nice, that's a nice balance 174 205 nothing a nothing he got pressured what a couple of times Other than that he had clean pockets the whole night. Yeah, you got to get him. You got to make a guy you you If you do not make these quarterbacks uncomfortable Yeah, I don't know I don't I don't know how I don't know how you how you win a game if you don't make them uncomfortable Hey, I say it again because I I really never see I've seen it before but most of the time you see quarterback step up into the pocket armament Yeah, yeah, I saw a perry it looked like he wasn't taking his full step back So we can be able to see and then step his way into the pocket Yeah, he takes small steps in the pocket is sit right there around him and he chilling joke
Yeah, yeah, I'm like well you not you're not I'm no happy feet He's not rushing. No nothing. He's just sitting there like I trust them boys around me to do what they support to do And I'm gonna get this ball out on time like he I ain't I mean, I'm I seen it but haven't seen it that much where he did it every Single plate. Hey single plate. Hey, Ocho. I can equate that to basketball You know running that picking roll planning traffic guards planning traffic. Ocho will guys reaching in and they don't do nothing They don't phase you right have to have a sense of awareness just like a quarterback, bro Yeah, I know some bunch of hands and bodies flying around me But for for you to be able to you know focus and lock in and they don't bother you Yes, that's where you talk about you know some of the great ones the elite ones, you know They able to play under a lot of pressure and under different circumstances and they can still you know come out on top And I thought tonight Perty was perfect at that bro, you know when he didn't use his legs He's kept his eyes up the field and he was making plays
Yeah, look Perty I mean to become mr. Relevant and to be the quarter turn and turn yourself into a quarterback That's making 55 million dollars a year. Oh, he's he's deserved that he's earned that he's earned that paycheck and he's been the guy He saved Kyle Shanahan and and and and John Lynch's job They traded all that draft capital draft up to get oh boy. Yeah Yeah, just imagine if you don't have him and you're stuck with what you got. Oh, yeah, oh yeah Build them out, oh, Joe you do trade lands. Yeah, trade lands. He bailed them out. Yeah a lot of people a lot of people don't But there had to be some effort Because why would you normally people don't draft the quarterback Trade draft capital to take a quarterback third in the draft and still draft the quarterback That's telling you there's still some uncertainty about it my shenan head did the same thing with rg3 Y'all remember yeah, I took rg3 that traded all that draft capital and what did he do? He took Kirk cousins and like the third and yeah, yeah, yeah, so there was some apprehension at there for you
Now you probably say with man shenan a just hey, that was just a backup plan. That's the self of the round draft pick mr Reliver but but boy if they don't take him And they're just locked in on trade lands. Yeah Oh, yeah, I don't know how they survive that to give up that drag because you market your future. Yeah, yeah, yeah You market your future for that guy. I Wonder I wonder is I wonder what it is that shenan saw so early. We understood that Now they're saying it I think he's not the one. I think I think in drafting drafting quarterbacks when you really not sure Uh, you know making it a competition whether you draft another quarterback after them. Let him know hey this job You got to compete for this you know what I mean like you couldn't have been that sure if you drafted another quarterback Like right after him you feel them saying yeah Well, the fake wasn't that Kyle has a lot of similarities to this father I played for his father is that
They'll eat that money. It's like it ain't my money. I made a mistake Man Michael bench your answer to the man. I don't care how much you make it you don't play well for my shenan hand You taking your answer to the bench. Kyle shenan is the exact same way if you don't play If you don't play well, I don't care how much money you make it you're gonna hurt You're gonna play well or you're going to the bench and you're not gonna be here after that I've seen it. I've seen it too many times. I've seen Mike do it. Yeah, so all this notion to about oh Uh, you money money. Don't mean nothing to the shenan hand. I promise you If you know if you're not if you're not playing well Don't worry about it Don't even worry about it. They got something for you. They got to play your ass going Oh, oh, so 49ers rookies the John's scribbling with card it off to the locker room Somebody took him in the fantasy For real oh, Joe did he tell my old Joe talking about he was ballin Wait, what's that doing you took in fantasy you like man? He been cutting up in camp or something Yeah, yeah, he was it might it might it might have been him, but it's okay
You know, I got some other receipts you got some other receipts you could throw in the old Joe. He might have saved you I did but listen I the way he failed Now contact injury he ran a little dig route short dig route about 12 yards and when he cut in he stepped And just just fail as soon as you fail based on the way he fell like man he didn't lose a keel. Oh, man Yeah, cuz they nobody touch it No, nobody touch me. I mean it I Anytime you have a non contact injury. Yeah, and you go down like that. I'm I'm I hate it, but I'm thinking the worst ACL Maniscus. I mean normally normally those of you know, I'm thinking the key leaves it's just where it is People just don't fall just don't drop like that. Hey think about this think about that flight He gonna have to get back on and add that oh my god And let me tell you It is you can tell us the key leaves when when players tell their key leaves they all fall the exact same way same with the same thing they grab same place and most of the time they were even grabbed at the at the back of the ankle
They grab up up near the cab. Yeah And the cab now understanding that pain you know that pain flow all the way up for those that I talk to that are totally a keel He's right. Yep, what they plan on out there in in Australia. What kind of what kind of turf? I think it was grass, oh, Joe it was grass It was grass you see what I'm saying we're playing about one, but it's not that It's not that it might be the 40 now just playing you that power plant Oh man come on The in all seriousness though, man. He's like You hate to see guys go down like that because because the thing is you put so much work in it It's not a hit if we get hit oh Joe we get hurt we understand that right Joe You know you get bumped or something like that you understand that But to go down in the fashion that what she went down he's like I'm running the right like yeah, uh, it's like Ah damn I
Didn't see it, but if you go back and look at we look at a KD when he tore the key leads you can see Piberty like a gift hard string all the way this cow Tariah They slow slow motion. Yeah slow mo you can see the ripple Yes Tyree's Halliburton though did the same thing against okay see a couple of years ago You can see that thing just pop like damn Yeah, it is like I'm what what are you uncle? What do you think that comes from You know when you tell your kids and then nobody nobody's nobody's touching you all you doing is you pushing off Or you're trying to take off and transition from you know left the right I don't understand especially there's nothing pushing to tug of you I understand that part you know somebody tug on your jersey and you put your hamstring You know something straining you and you trying to go one way and something's yeah, it's you back I get it but when no one is no one is doing anything I don't understand oh Cho of eggs of eggs guys who've had that that injury Some have said that you know they had no thank you old Joe Perkow shanahat
The rookie of the key leads wasn't tack. Well the tack okay that was yeah Wait, yeah, his ankle, but he was just he just made he made a cut and just fell down Mm-hmm. How that was five minutes ago. Yeah, that okay. That's good. That's a good thing. That's a good thing It's so but I mean I'm still I'm still for the hyper extent in my knee you know Step in buddy or your body was relaxed. Yeah, I knew it. I knew it. I knew it. Hey Joe You ever be walking down the stairs and miss a step by accident thinking you were there bottom. Yeah, yeah Yeah, man, I ain't no I can't I come down step at a time. It's sideways too don't you mind Well Boy you think hey you think I won the most side of the well the most side while the rest make coming down That's how I be coming down. I'd be stepping in that thing Gently huh I came remember the last time I walk a I face
Forward face it walked down man. I got the real and everything I pretty about to help you one of them One of them or the chair to take me upstairs. Hey, you got a chair. pop culture conversations or a community of readers who love to think a little too much you're in the right place Listen to pro society on the iHeartReneo app apple podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts see you between the pages Our town is small taders by most standards right but to the people who grew up here it's everything What happens when a quiet Tennessee town becomes the front line in a battle over the future of America Developers with right wing ties have purchased hundreds of acres of land in the area The first thing you see when it pops up is high nears and apple etchum, but they weren't just planning houses We need cities on a shining hill that exemplifying in body the Christian way of life stop right there. Is that normal? A podcast about what happens when a small town becomes the site of a social experiment God need that to rule great and decides to fight back Do not use my hard work to sell your bull They're not just opposing what's being planned for here our hometown is not a test to they feel like they're standing in opposition to an entire administration
Guess you didn't move in on a bunch of dumb hillbillies now did you listen to our town on the iHeartReneo app apple podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts Yeah, I'm curious is that that's the sideline right? Yes, that's the sideline. He looking at that's the playoffs that he's back looking at well I'm curious is this is a rugby stadium probably probably yeah, so I'm or soccer Yeah, probably yeah, I think I think I would say more rugby because yeah, I'm straight Yeah, I see I see I see oh you oh you oh you oh you I mean, I'm sure you I mean you should have known I'll obviously before you buy tickets You know you have a diagram of the seating and and where you'll be sitting yeah, we're not sure whether it's the cricket ground I Amazement old some front row seats are roughly 50 yards from the NFL field Come on, I'm sure you got to say um when you buy tickets it shows you where the tickets are it shows you where the field is
You know and where you be sitting and how far you'll be away from the field I'm sure he knew that so to so to post something like that as if you didn't know before you took that 14 15 hour flight Come on So I'm looking up like this in the band My bad my bad from that point on I ain't never saw the front row down that front row But on think about it too right under Joe right when you're buying tickets I'm sure you had those tickets in advance, right? It's not like you just boy tickets at the last minute to fly all the way to Australia
That's something that you plan ahead of time knowing that your team I'm sure you did play but hold on but when you buy tickets, uh, you know, they show you the diagram You know you choose the tickets where you want to sit. I mean it's right there in front of you now You know if I tell you if I tell you front row seats You think it front row seats. Yeah, now you had a you had a concert You get an image in the get up the do-it-letting get up so you gotta look up like this here Now you never want to sit front row, you know, that's that's why they He's like it. He got great seats Well, people say I'm going to the comedy club man. I got front row seats. Yeah. Oh, I met a I met a basketball game I got front row seats. Yeah, front row normally mean the best season. I was just that's what I'm thinking Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. Hey, hold on now that depends on the vent that depends on where you're going So you got to understand football game. I don't want to sit in front front row football game I want to sit on the second level somewhere between between the 30 the 40 50 or 30 You want to be between the 20s obviously I'm ideally 40 and 40s, but mostly but yo jeep as you ain't paying for that
So you look you gonna be from the 20 to 20s Not gonna be a video laugh for the I'm in for the all-ass You ain't paying for no 50-year-old live seats and in the third tier. Yes, I am. That's beautiful seats third tier third I know it is But but that level you probably that's club level, Ocho No, that's that's right below right below the nose. Please No, no, hey, I'm not that's what so you talking you gonna sit in the upper deck Yeah, cuz that's it's a good visual on especially if you're in between the 240s and the 50 you can see The upper deck Not me Guys, you're not not me. I ain't sitting the upper deck. I'm gonna be in the sweet So you can be birthday. No, no, I rather watch again. Honestly. I just weather watch the game at home Yeah, you you don't not suppose to sit in the sweet when you go to a football game You go to a soccer match or you go to I mean hockey you need to get the true experience of a game exactly With the fans he don't know what the fan we're in this radio

I want to do Yeah, that's just me Some people like man. I love that experience. Oh Joe. He want to be out there. He want to be amongst the people I just want to be him. I just want to be in my my home enjoying the game It's just not the same uncle Joe. It's not the same man when you go to a game You go to a sport event. It's all about the experience, you know If you want to be in the sweet, then that's that's that's for the He the famous, you know, oh, I'm too good to be with the regular people know I want to talk I wanted to know, I didn't do good. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no I can I can I won I won't I want to be able to wash the game and everybody want yo don't want to be don't want to be bothered Well, you can stay home if you don't want to be bothered, huh? No, you can stand the sweet Hey, hey, yeah, and from the sweet, you know, you can a good view you can a great view. Yeah I'm with you. I don't know about y'all but the sweet from a Joe at the sweet side, bit of it. That'd be pretty good for me
man I'm sweet, that I'm a satis being stadium, huh? Shout out to little mooney, I know he ain't with, I know he ain't with the following no more, but boy, he hooked me up a cup of time last season. You and me? Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Yo, be careful, Joe, don't, don't, no, no, hey, don't, don't call it on him, don't stitch it, nobody, we want to be, we don't want to be like, you know. Yeah, because he gave me some tickets? Okay, yeah, yeah, just be a, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I got you. I got you. Yeah. Now other people getting in trouble by mentioning the name of the old stories. Mm. Okay. You ever say that? Yeah, I got you. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. We don't want to do that in folk. Yeah, I got you. I bet he's thinking like, man, I flew all the way over here, I could have stayed home. Long day. I mean, cuz think about it, you fly way there, you gotta fly way back. Man, that's a day and a half trip. Yeah. It is. Well, team, what was the thing? You spent a day and a half flying. Who was his team? And that's the experience I got? No, yeah. You probably, you probably 49ers fans, so he should feel good anyway. Shit. Yeah, you know what they do say that sometimes. You know what? It wasn't that great of experience, but we won, so we made, you know,
I can make do with it. It was worth it. It was worth it. Yeah, he unknown. I'm trying to think, what did they, well, owed you already no soccer? Joe, what did you be willing to fly 17, 18 hours to go see? It probably ain't won. It probably ain't won. Wait a minute, Joe. 17, 18, 18. Hold on, Joe, wait, wait, listen to me, that, listen to me. Now the World Cup just left here, Joe. You told me that the World Cup experience for you, being that you never been to the soccer game, it was awesome. Oh, it was phenomenal. I enjoyed it. So think about this. The World Cup in, what, 2020, 28th, if I'm not mistaken. Yes. Yeah, you wouldn't think. Now, flight, the, the, the, the go across the world, the watch it. I would say, 28, oh, Joe, you say, I'll hold on. 30, 30, 30, my bad. So you wouldn't, you wouldn't fly 17 hours to get that experience again? I don't know. He don't know. He's up in the gold cross there for 10, 10 hours to go watch soccer game.
Oh, no. Yeah. It didn't show me Jesus healing people. I'm a fly 17 hours other than that. You hear me? First class. Yeah. Eight. I know what you would say. I just want to touch the him with his garment. Other than that. No, sir. Oh, Joe, you want me to fly 17 hours man? And go watch soccer game? You let me fly 17 hours a week. No, sorry. I thought, I thought seeing the World Cup games, I thought they left a lasting impression on you. It did. It did. It did. For the, for the apartment. I can't wait to 20, 30 roll around. So you're going to go to Portugal? Know the game and World Cup is in Portugal. No, why go to Portugal? I can watch it. I can't wait to see the experience. I can't wait. I can't wait. I can't wait. I can't wait. Like the experience, I'm. No. Hey, check. Hey, check. Where's the World Cup in 2013?
Hey, Ocho. I mean, but you know, I have flown a long way for some famous. Yeah. You flew away. You flew eight and nine. I'm young. Let me tell you something. Agent, just a number. You still young, huh? I am young. I am young. Yeah, I'm young and I'm young in actual years. But when you play football, tackle football for 14 years. You got to be able to separate the two. You got to be able to separate the two. You know, when you can no longer function for yourself, walking, you are still able mine is still able body. Oh, yeah. You're not old. You're not, you're not old. No, I'm not old with you. But I still ain't flying no 17, 18 hours to see nothing. Okay, my bad. Yeah, my bad. Oh, hold on now. Now there's somebody you have fly at C 17, 16 year for fly at 17, 16. Oh, oh, oh, it's always somebody you willing to make that sacrifice for. 17 hours, don't you? Yeah. You should have died when you was young. Oh, Joe, man, stop telling my business.
You told us. What are you doing? You told us I'm here. Hey, hey, hey, Joe, what the whole baby would say? Boy, what I tell you about talking behind people, people you heard somebody say. And when you young, you know my moving like that. No, yeah, when you get low on the wave, you know, I wish I might. Yeah, man, when I work with CBS, Ocho, I used to fly from Atlanta to to California. Yes, sit down with somebody from the Raiders or sit down, somebody from the charges and turn around and jump right back on the red eye that night and come back home. Damn. Yeah. And nothing of it. Jump on the flight, go to Detroit, the day before Thanksgiving. I jump on the flight, go sit down with somebody in Detroit for the Thanksgiving day game, hop on that. Get there early in the morning, wait about two hours. They have a break, get that interview, get on the plane, go to New York. You know, it's funny. I had a schedule similar to that on Joe. I was in Miami, but I was working on a beach report at Seeders Palace Beach, your report,
for football season. So for six months on con Joe, I used to have to fly the bleach report to the sports book in Seeders Palace every weekend. Every weekend. So I fly in, fly on the Friday. I'm here Friday Saturday. You know, you have your meetings based on what you're going to talk about, what you're going to discuss, watch the game. And then we do the live show in the sports book. Then I get back on the plane. I did that every weekend for football season. For Miami, Vegas, Vegas, like the Miami. What, that's a long flight too. But when you, Joe, when I was, I'm in my 20s, didn't bother me. That a whole lot bothered me without that 20. Right, right, right. Now, the way me and Joe would be flying, man. Jordan, I got, Jordan, I got platinum status. But he, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, Jordan, be walking all fancy. Go ahead. I can't. I be, Joe, I be carrying my bag like a football. I got my bag about all of like this here.
Yeah, Jordan, like, hey, you put it on top of the, you're the guy with that roller. Yeah. You put it on top of your balls. Better, bad. I feel like it's like a hood, like it's 50 pounds. I can imagine. Yeah, I don't know what you be thinking on your top of, he go fly 17, 18 hours. Yeah. Yeah. To the know, Joe. Hey, on Champions League, Europa League, regular soccer games. Now, obviously, the not 17, 18 hours before a big game, like a Champions League final. Well, I flopped. Well, World Cup in Russia, World Cup in South Africa. You know, man, I was, man, I was, man, peace sign. And then even twice, I was, I don't know. Hey, hold on, Qatar. I didn't think twice. I was like, if a whole month for the World Cup. Man, I'm not tripping, boy. Man, that just, that's, that's, that's reserved for things that you're actually passionate about. When it comes to the beautiful game, I'm actually passionate about that. I'm willing to do anything for that. Oh, Joe.
Man, Matthew Stafford threw a touchdown, at least one touchdown in every game last year. He didn't throw one tonight. Speak volumes of, yeah, it's me, fellas. Yeah, I am. So I, we know what I don't want to do, Uncle Joe, is, is a lot of us, especially last night, would drink me. It was a bad game. It was a game that we don't expect from quarterback that has experienced that was just in a Super Bowl last year. But I don't want us to overreact, especially with a quarterback like Matthew Stafford, you know, who is exceptional. Has one of the better arms, has a slew of talent around him. I think this is just one of those games that got away from, and it's only week one. I could be wrong, though. Yeah, but I'm not comparing Drake made to Matthew Stafford because Drake made, hadn't played well in a while. Go back and look at the game that he played against the Texas. Right. Go back and look at the game. He didn't play that well against, they won. They won. Yeah.
Can't take that away from him. Yes, sir. We're talking about his plate. Last night. You think he played well? No. No. No. I don't think so either. But, uh, hey. They won. That's all that matters. They were with any win the game. Matthew Stafford. I believe Matthew Stafford to play better. They won't have to travel like this anymore. The 49ers say, look. 49ers didn't want to travel this party because like we pack so far. Yeah. That little quick. Oh, sure. That little quick trip, huh? Yeah. That little two. I look too. I look up and down. Yeah. Two Californians. We're going up and down. Staying packed. And go. Mm-hmm. We good. Yeah. And you know what the players and the coaches might hate it. Maybe the owners might hate it. But the owners probably not tripping because they, you know what they, they, uh, they bottom lines into the day. The NFL, you know what their bottom lines are into today. You want 18 games. You want to continue to expand the game. These are some of the things that we have to do.
We got all men. We have, huh? I just don't know me. I got Matthew Stafford in my quarter bag. Uh-huh. That's real. Are you serious? Yeah. Are you going to get. Are you going to get vote nicks? Man. Because he, he thought Matthew Stafford come out here and throw food by a full touchdown game. One. I did. Can I get one? Hey, honey folks, hey, honey folks. We gonna build up to the full joke. Hey, I could, I could tell you this. Hello. It's a bit. I'm gonna start. You didn't go in there and reset you ain't do your lineup. Oh, you don't know how to do that. No. Oh, yeah, I got y'all beat who's y'all? Joe who you're starting quarterback Joe Dakota press guy Okay, yeah, okay, yeah, no my starting quarterback is who barrel. Yeah, okay

That press car cuz what you did? Yeah, hey Joe. What he gonna do now? Now what he gonna do? That's why I picked him what he gonna do Yeah, yeah Yeah, okay, yeah, let's not be fool now about what Matthew staffer is still gonna put it on same numbers It's gonna look just like that that foe foe 3 2 1 3 4 2 Yeah, it's gonna hold on wait wait the next Sunday, okay listen Listen, he probably gonna get right but they ain't sneaking up on no damn body, okay? Oh, Joe My mother hurricane beat fam u 77 seven oh, so bad my m and fam u coaches mutual agree to shorten the four quarter to 10 minutes Uh, my amy had eight hundred and 56 total yards eight 56 to a hundred and seven ain't I got a question what's the question? I got a question like we got When we started before we started show like who decided to talk about this because this this is this is really Not not me definitely not me, you know nobody consulted me when it came to having this topic Listen fam you lost the game, right? But let me tell you what fam you did like fam you score the touchdown Huh to me. That's a lot might the mighty hurricanes were in the national championship last year Never out last year. We talk about this year. I and they're even better this year. That's the whole point. So there was no way In God's green earth that fam even had a chance at beating Let it long you say you're gonna spring the opposite you say up seven. I said you ain't nobody told us. Yeah
Come on, come on, I got a question though. What which one was worse the 83 to 90 or the 77 the 7 8 8 8 South Carolina state put 87 on them. They ain't even scope. They had a donut. Boy at least we scored Boy look here. They almost had a thousand they almost had a thousand total yards They were 144 year had they not short in the game, Ocho. They the beach. I'm 100 enough Oh, we are talking about an 8 species you against a powerhouse But in the country I don't give it listen Hey fam you in my rat lives we good we take out we pack our little bag, you know to get our little check Get our little check. Yeah, even next week. Hey, and we Was dropped off Joe Next week don't worry about it. I know what I know I can take what we did one tonight. What the band we want to have time show Oh, yeah, y'all want to have time now. We want to have time show Now what yeah
Darry and Mimsa was 14 to 15 to 52 three touchdown Malacat Tony four reception 96 yards of touchdown backup Luke, nickel eight of eight one 44 three touchdown No more like that. E. So another word the quarterbacks combined was 22 or 23 For three hundred and ninety six yards and six touchdown Hey, y'all levels it levels to this is levels to it At HBCU playing a power five a top-ranked team like the hurricane come on bro Yeah, I know that y'all look I know I know I know fam you the little brothers to to to Miami But come on then what are they gonna stay in now? I mean listen I at no point Y'all you might not be with whom Why are you groping them y'all might not be with whom Well, but who named be this and the net the last nine games the last Florida class they be this in the last nine trials I remember the mini cats, you know, I know this respect. There any any any any wild cats. We got the chat
Much respect the cook because my mom on the grandma joke. Yeah, I'm gonna boom. Oh, did it My name was dragging me to the Florida classics is 1984. How do you think I fell in love with fam you? So I seen that band strike. I'm like what in the world. Who is that? Yeah, I'm on my pop on me to my boyfriend be quiet Yeah, so that's my grandma with the platoon. Yes My grandma my my mama was a cheer for the wild cats Hurricane Paula's you the cheerleader And hurricane Paula's man followed right behind my grandma both of them was wild cats. It's time to college I ain't even had no grades getting the fam you Yeah, man, so a lot of people like but we your love for fam you or your to my fam is a fan that you always got on fam A tire fam gear dude My mom and my mom took me to every single Florida classic. It was in Orlando first
In Orlando from 1984 85 86 87 every single year the only time I got a chance to stop going to the Florida classic was when they got to high school. Yeah, it's doing football season You right. You know we play on Saturday. They play on Saturday. So I couldn't go Air Rogers called Packers head coach Matlin floor a clown for saying Jordan love with better pre snap than air Rogers Take a listen to this guy. Oh, Santa. He's probably still mad. I changed too many of his place Um big statement when he had a guy went back to back in VP's, yeah Guess I wasn't doing too much at the at the LOS Uh Matt's clown man. He says he says some things from time to time or funny that he like oh Maybe I shouldn't have said that like he's backing up his quarterback. I mean like yeah, I'm sure Jay loves real good line of scrimmage But come on
The one thing look the one thing you can't say about air Rogers. Yes, I will not let one slight regardless of who says it about him He letting ish pass. Yeah, he gonna go form a coach former teammate president of the United States If you if you say something about him, he might not mention not in this situation He mentioned his name. Sometimes he don't mention names, right, but you know who he's talking about right Hey Rodding will let nothing slide now that you gotta understand his name was mentioned So since his name was mentioned when he revoked back he's going to mention the name. I understand my people have to defend Jordan love Yes, I understand that but you gotta understand air Rogers is actually on that field So when air Rogers on that field and the plate comes in and he sees something else with his own eyes Based on what he can see that's in front of him. He can change the plate. Now it's oh just they don't like that You gotta think this is my this is my team my team innocent that's the way they think it just is I'm calling a plate that I see best fits us based on what we're trying to do
Hey, oh, something you said they're changing it What the bad one back to back MVP's he must be changing it for must be changing it for the battle you know what I'm doing Hey, look here you can say you can listen He's probably gonna take anything on a negative light, but why do you got just say hey he's all you got to say Jordan love is really great priest that read You don't got to compare to say he's better than Rogers Yeah, that's that's that's too big the man got four MVP's Yeah, only paid man he got more so how bad what What look here Jordan love Jordan love but it went five MVP's and it leads get to a couple of superbows for we can have this conversation What what we what are we what are we really talking about? I mean, let's be realistic now Hey that man in his films by that man changing the plays I thought I I would think I would think Elite quarterbacks. Okay. Oh, Joe when he gets to the line of scrimmaging Yeah, you you know
Yeah, yeah If I don't like even though the call came in from from Zack Taylor. Oh, Joe changed the thing. Pat my homes. He sees something else. Oh, no, man. Scrap that. I scrapped that. I'm changing this up. Josh out of Lamar Jackson. They have the lead way to do that. Yeah. Okay. But I would want my quarterback. I trust my quarterback enough. A guy that's been in the league this long and has played exemplary as Aaron Rogers has. You might not like some of the things they say. You might not like his views. I don't know who argues saying that he ain't no damn good quarterback. He's a great quarterback. He's as good a thrower. Then might not been one thrower better of the football than Aaron Rogers. And that's Damirino. But he ain't here top three quarterback as far as arm talent being able to throw change arm angles. There ain't very many plans better in the history of the game. Damn, he's played in his era. I'm talking about the history of the game. He damn good. Oh, he. But this is what you got to happen every time. Anytime you don't get to be this good without
having to chip on your shoulder. Yep. He takes anything as a slight. Let me ask you a question. You don't think so if somebody if Josh McDaniel says you know what? Drake May is brother pre-stabbed in Tom Brady. What y'all think Brady gonna say? If somebody say coach Tom, they coach, they coach Peyton Manning. And they say he now how you gonna be better than Peyton Manning? He calls his own damn play. I don't know. But let's just say for the sake of our we had that discussion. They've got the man's human. Yeah. You're taking a shot at me. Yeah. I don't even think McDaniels would even have the nerve of the goal. Hey man. I mean, I'm surprised that Matt LaFloor spent a number of years with Aaron Rogers in the quarterback room having meetings with just him one on one. What you like? What you don't like? I kind of like this. What would you like to check to be? He knows Aaron Rogers, personally. He knows Aaron's A-Rod,
they go to the it's shot slide. He's very vocal. So why why even put that stuff in the situation? Now I am I am surprised that that that he called him a clown. Yeah. I'm surprised that he came with that heart of a language. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I thought you said this Aaron Rogers would be talking about. He ain't. He's old and very vocal. You might be right. Don't you? You might be right. You're not surprised at all. I got a question. Now what we'll make this even more interesting is if the Steelers got the Packers on the Esquizle somewhere down the line. Now that would make it more interesting. Green Bay Play the Steelers? Please somebody please say yes. I don't know. I don't think they want to schedule. It might be. No. No. He doesn't have he doesn't have the wheels that he wants have. He still he still have he's still can he's still can sling it. Give him some time. Like I said, he's not as bleed afoot as he once was. But that that mofo could throw the football man.
Somebody I mean, you throw 45 touchdowns with six picks. Look at all the years that he had double digit touchdowns 3028 and 28 and two and he's got 35 and six and he's got all these goddy touchdowns in the center section. He still has the best touchdowns in the center ratio and then it fell history. Yeah. Amen. You know, I say in the first hand, the number he should put on him Cowboys on. I mean, he probably has some his best games against Cowboys just keeping him 100 like that throw that throw that he made on the sideline. Oh, when he wrote out of that he wrote it in to the tight end. Yeah. Yeah. I remember the Jared. Jared took called the ball. They said he went to Jared. Yeah, that boy was that boy one that night. I remember that. Yeah, but I'm gonna like I said, I don't know why wild look floor. When you got a historically great quarterback, you know, just say he does some things. He does a great job of free snap at the line kind of like Aaron did like like Aaron would do, but to say he's better at it. Yeah.
Cause clearly he's gotten out of some good play, gotten out of some good play. I at plus, it might be a situation where Aaron wanted to go for your memory. You want to go for the four down to get tamper. Yeah. And Matt LaFloor elected to kick the field goal and they really never got the ball back. Yeah. And like, uh, remember that, remember that time they try to get paid manning off the field. A long, I forgot what game it was. And I think I don't know whether Dungee, I forgot who the coach was trying to send the kicking team on the punt and it made Peyton. That might have been that might get off the field. That might have been that Monday night. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That Monday night against Tampa scuba check. Yeah. Man Peyton told them boys, man, y'all go back to the Southland. I got this. Yeah. Yeah. And a whole lot of quarterback got that kind of pool. What? The only he the only one. You, hello, you think you think Tom Brady would wave Bella check off? Absolutely not. No. No. Cause I can see the market. Peyton ran, listen, Peyton ran practice.
Everything. These are the plays that I want to work in practice. This is the coverage that I want to see in practice. Peyton ran the meetings. Everything. No other quarterback had that kind of did did what Peyton Manning does. Matter of fact, hey, Joe got there and Peyton Manning was a Tesla before Tesla was invented. Yeah. Doing everything on his own. He was. He was. The brain, man, that joke of the earth. He's special. He lived being a being a rider since he's been endeavoring and seeing how his mind operates and his football. His football, his wife, I take my hat off to your ash. Cause he is prepped 24 seven. When he's in when he's in that zone during football season. I do not envy those women that have those type of players. Yeah. Husbands. Have a Tom Brady.
To have a Peyton Manning to have a Drew breeze to have those guys that is that is all encompassing. And they know the weight of the world is on their shoulders. And I got to be mom, dad, I got to go to all the meetings. I got to go to all the soccer practice. I got to go to all the recitals. The PTA meetings. I got to do everything. I'm mom, dad, chauffeur. I'm side. I'm all of that. They understand what they signed up for and they understand the sacrifice. They understand it. They understand it. Anybody, no matter the greater the athlete, the greater the sacrifice, not only that he or she makes, but their partner has to make everybody cut out for that. They think they are. We think they are. And you come to realize, bro, how you do? I mean, I happy, Joe, I had a girl break on me said, I can't do it no more. I don't want to go out and have you eat chicken breast and rice and get a salad and drink water. Right. I eat that at home. I want to go,
I want to go and I want to have a nice meal and I want you to have a nice meal. Well, that is a nice meal for me. God, hey, you got a chunk of the do's. She got a chunk of the do's. You know, greatness is very selfish. I know we always talk about it, but when you immerse into whatever it is that you're doing, your profession, bro, especially as a professional athlete, you can see, I can, Oh, Joe, yeah, everybody has no, bro, you come second to this. I'm sorry. I don't know if you know that, but you come second to the game. Yeah, they never everybody say they can handle it, Joe, until they actually immerse in it. Yeah. And then they see how the devoted you are to this craft. Yeah. And how great you want to be and the sacrifices that you're willing to make. Yeah. Everybody says they can. Oh, that ain't no problem. I love to support you until they're actually in it and they actually have to support you. Yeah. And then, and then they see you, they see you sitting around the house and you boring is on nowhere. Hey, young boy. Yes. I, I, I, I, I preserve my energy. You know what I mean? Cause I'm a high stiff boring. Yeah. So let me ask you a question. What you think, Michael Jordan did? What you think,
Kobe did? What you think? All the great dude, they perfect their craft. Yeah. Great. This is very boring. It is. It's a very monotonous process because you do the same thing over and over, we're trying to perfect this craft. Yeah. Yeah. So if you want somebody's going to go skydiving and bungee jumping and all that other stuff. Well, I'm, hold on, vacations, traveling everywhere, taking pictures. No. They, they, they, they, they, they want, they, they want to finish product of what the game comes with. Yeah. They don't want all the stuff in between. They don't mean potatoes. They want the food to the labor that come on the back end. You know, Joe, anybody trying to build a house? Everybody just trying to move in. Yeah. Yeah. But they won't job. Yeah. Who tried? Who, who's going to sit there and let you live poor, poor crime creep poor foundation and then put a wreck those walls. Yeah. And then, and then put, who doing that? And put insulation and paneling. Who gonna do all that?
Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. Now you even let that flat by the check man. Bring that back. So the chat y'all right here. Right there. Anybody trying to work now? Anybody try to pull the foundation? Everybody just try to move in the house. Yeah. Yeah. That's what everybody want. We ain't fooling nobody. And I wish it was that simple. I wish I could just snap a boom. It's a process. It is, bro. And you write special, it takes the special someone to know somebody's own that journey and really to what ride it out with them. Yeah. Everybody's trying to build a house. They just try to move in. That was a bar where everybody's brought up. That's why I can't, it's hard because there are a lot of a lot of things. Even, even an athlete, even a player. Everybody don't want to, who try to develop? Ain't nobody trying to develop nobody anymore, Joe. I need you to be safe today. Yeah. Not two years, three years from now. I need you to be your catch right now.
I need you to be LeBron. Yeah. Man. Why you can't bro? Yeah. Hey, look, they don't want to have to do too much developing now. You know what I mean? They want you to be able to hit the road and get going. They don't want to have to spend too much time. Hey, Joe, come in, come in, come in, come in, a little season now. Yeah. There you go. I don't come in too raw. Hello. Give me some of the work with. If the foundation coming, you know, be, be a little seasoned with me. I ain't got anyone do too much work, which I just want to sharpen you up. Yeah. There you go. You know, the pencil right. Yeah. With that thing in the sharpener. Come on, come on, man. Give me some of the work with you. I'm with you. But we don't got lazy. We don't want to do no thing for ourselves. What we run to. Chat GPT. Hey, everybody doing the wrong thing. But it's them. Joe, Joe and Joe. Hey, hey, hello. Chat GPT. Get your whole game plan. Joe will. I don't know. I don't know. You know, you got people one. Yeah. Yeah. So smart. Man, that chat GPT. I type the same thing and it gave me the same thing.
That's why everybody can't be a farmer because what you got to do, you got to sow the seeds and you wait for the crops. Yeah. Even the animals, they start out as piglets or cattle, calves. You got to feed them, fatten them up when you, when you, you slaughter them or you sell them. You got to wait. Yeah. When anybody trying to wait, anybody trying to wait. Being growing up on a farm like man, damn. Man, we planted these sweet potatoes long time ago. Where we going to get a chance to dig these things up, Joe? Planting peanuts. Where we going to be able to eat bad, bad, latter for this? All right. No, boy. We Air Rogers also says he's a big fan of Dak Prescott and doesn't understand all the criticism he receives. Let's take a listen to this. All right. How people rip on Dak all the time. But I'm a big Dak fan. I like the way he plays. I mean, he had a year, I think it was a 22, I believe, 21 or 2.
And I watched, I think we had some common opponents and I watched a lot of his film, I said, damn, he's playing really, really good football. And we had a couple battles in the playoffs over the years, but I've always been a fan of his, but I just thought, you know, under Mike, he was playing on time and controlling the line of scrimmage and making all the thrills all over the field. And me, that's what we did in our heyday back in Green Bay. You know, we attacked defenses. We're aggressive. I could say I could answer that for him real quick. And I'm sure Air Rogers knows. He's been in this game for a long time. He understands what it comes when you had that storm in your helmet. You judge differently. You're critiqued differently. You know, they're going to chastise you a little bit differently. You know, not because who is wearing the helmet because it was on the helmet. Yeah. You are especially when you played that position. Oh, it comes in a, it comes with a territory. EX, PCT, ATI, ES, X, SPA, Tations. Yes.
Air Rogers knows what comes with playing the quarterback position. If you're good, there's a certain level of expectations that comes along with that. Yeah. Well, are we missing something, Mocho? Hello. Hello. Now, there's a level of expectations playing the quarterback position, but there is no level like that of being the quarterback for the Dallas. Yeah. I'm great. You're seeing now. It's a little bit different. No, being being that quarterback in general, but I go ahead. Go ahead. I'll finish. No, I was just saying you was right. I was just saying the difference as opposed to being the quarterback for the other 31 teams. And being the quarterback for the mayor's team is just going to show you just how unrealistic the expectations are. They haven't won anything in 30 years. They didn't win a suitball in the 80s. They won three in the 90s. They didn't win it in 2000. They hadn't won in the 2010s. And they haven't won it in a way. And with three quarters of the way through the 2020s. Yes. But you see what the expectations are? How they set those unrealistic expectations? If you
would have thought if you didn't know better, you think they were the New England Patriots. I ain't not too much now. Y'all they been y'all they're nothing. I'm just saying. I'm just saying. I think the flag that that gets is because he doesn't have playoff wins. Big of points. You talked about it with the green when he played green, mate. When he played against completely played against green, mate, whether it was Aaron Rodgers, Jordan Love, how did he look? It was bad. When he played the Rams, Joe, Joe, when they came out to the Coliseas and played the Rams, how did he look? You know exactly why. The same reason you get those same criticisms, Aaron Rodgers, the same reason. Because when you played San Francisco and you let Jim and G come to your place and beat you, that's why it ain't no secret. People like, well, I don't know what yes you do. Yes, you do. The same reason Aaron, you got the criticisms that that that that蛋 receives. Now, your more your resume is more complete than his MVP super
bold super bold MVP. Kudos. But you know, while you received leftover, the same reason, that received the criticism man, Chad, y'all know this. We used to eat paint manning alive. They kill painting, even his teammate talk about it. Mm-hmm. There's no way. The only one really, even if there was a time that Tom Brady won three suboes in his first five years, and then he had that long stretch where he didn't win anything until he beat, it was getting on him. Yeah. Yeah, I know he has three suboes to win with the last time he won a big game. Yeah. That's just the way it is, it's for us when you said, when you become that guy, yeah. That's what comes along with it. You got to have broad shoulders to play sports and to be great at it. Hey, hey. Magic Johnson was a two time finals MVP.
He turned the ball over in 84 and then nicknamed tragic. Yeah. A two time finals MVP. Yeah. You got to turn the ball over? Yeah. Yes. You may have loved it. He loved it, Johnson. It was an important moment though, I'm assuming. It was an NBA finals against the Boston Celtics. You know about the clock. But, but, but, but, Ocho, when you playing for these historic franchises, like the Cowboys, like the Lakers, like, like Boston, you need the nicks, the Yankees, it's different bro. You, excuse me, you get a different type of scrutiny than everybody else. It's just what it is, man. It's, it comes with it. That is.
