Phantom Of The Neighborhood - Acme, Washington

This week, in Acme, Washington, a young woman vanishes while on a jog, on her very rural road. When she's found, brutalized & very dead, it's clear that there's a very sick person in the area, even prompting the police to look into the Green River Killer. Despite several suspects, detectives have nothing to go on, except hunches, and some DNA that they can't seem to match to anyone. Then, two women having a seemingly casual conversation at a waterpark, cracks the whole case, and reveals a murderer, that is as ordinary a man as there could be!!

 

Along the way, we find out that the diner seems to be the center of social interaction in some small towns, that you should consider it very good service, when you call to file a missing person report, and the police send a "human tracker" right out, and that "murder stay murder"!!
