Titans Target Edge Rusher Jaishawn Barham

On April 14th, the Tennessee Titans are stacking their defensive front after some smart free agency moves and with head coach Robert Salah calling.

The shots. They're gearing up for the NFL draft to add even more heat.

Experts see them targeting an edge rusher early, maybe day one or two to boost that pass rush.

One name popping up for the Titans is Michigan's J. Sean Barham, a six-foot-three, 240-pound edge defender who's got folks divided.

Last season, he posted 32 tackles and just four sacks in a hybrid role, flipping between linebacker and the edge.

Fans and scouts are buzzing because his tape shows real promise.

He holds the edge against the run, slips blocks with agility, and flashes speed to.

The quarterback. That 1.61 second tin yard split at the combine had him outpacing some top prospects.

Barham's not flawless, his bend around the corner needs work, tackling can be spotty, and his rush moves are raw.

With that explosiveness and power can't be taught, making him a fit for Salah's four-three scheme as a potential three-down beast.

Pair him with Jeffrey Simmons and John Franklin Myers, and suddenly Tennessee's defense gets that nasty identity it's been missing.
