There was a joint statement.

It was just a day later than we expected.

But let's just get through the statement

and then let's break it down.

We can go paragraph by paragraph and break it down after two.

We've seen the growing online speculation.

So while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity.

It was never our intention to purposely hide anything.

Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved

and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show,

we needed a little space to process things privately

before speaking on it.

We've shown up for each other as friends over the years

through all the highs and lows and what's developed recently

was the last thing either of us expected.

Our connection grew out of a genuine longstanding friendship

which made it especially important for us to approach this with care.

As our feelings evolved, we wanted to take time

to understand exactly what we were feeling.

We also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us

and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt

or be perceived as careless.

We truly appreciate the understanding and respect

as we navigate this.

So we've had our first impression

because we read it live on our Patreon episode.

But you were like, oh my god, oh my god,

I need to decompress and process.

So where are you at with this?

I mean, they are admitting something is going on.

It's almost like at this point, in my mind,

what has happened is they probably hooked up drunk a few times.

People have gotten wind of this.

And now they had to sit down and confront the situation

and who knows where their heads at with their relationship.

Are they just like, hooking up?

Is it friends with benefits?

But now it feels like they have to date each other.

Like I said this yesterday, in my mind,

I'm like, they have blown up so many people's lives in this.

I mean, the current state of summer house

we're mid season.

Are you even interested in summer house?

Because the whole story over there is Kyle and Amanda getting a divorce

which is going to lead into the city.

So are you even invested in that?

I'm not.

I don't care as much anymore,

because this is so much juicier and happening right now.

It's like too little too late.

It's old news to me, which is crazy.

And I also, I'm genuinely like,

you guys, you have to get married and have babies now.

I mean, they have blown up their entire lives

in so many people's lives around them.

Like, because people aren't going to care about these shows as much

because of this new stuff.

And I just, I'm genuinely concerned for them

as a professional level.

There is so many complications that goes along with this.

And I'm like, and is this just like,

did you guys like hook up like five times drunk?

Like, I don't know.

So the statement to me reads,

we need to see how fans are reacting

before we decide what the label of this relationship is.

Now, they're using this as we,

because obviously it's the two of them with everything.

But it's like they're saying,

hey, you know, we can't not address this.

The more time that goes on,

we were able to get away from it with when it first came up in March.

And if you guys remember, too,

that dropped on like a Friday, I think.

And I remember West posting a story

after Duma had posted.

And I responded to the story,

and I said, your DMs are about to blow up because he's,

remember, he was acknowledging that he's online.

So he's seeing the speculation,

but also not acknowledging it all.

And we're like, okay, you know, if you deny it and do it whatever.

And then he had responded,

oh, this is so annoying.

And I was like, to me,

I was thinking, well, that is kind of a denial of the whole thing.

But it wasn't a denial.

It could also just be this is annoying that my spots being blown up.

What's crazy is with this statement is the fact that one,

they're not even saying they're dating right now.

I think what you're saying is that they're admitting something has happened physically.

The words,

the last thing we expected,

and feelings evolved.

That tells me,

yeah, of course they've hooked up.

I mean, everyone thought it.

But I'm like, who?

Who did you guys talk about this with?

That was such a bad choice.

That was horrible.

What do you mean choice of hooking up with each other or releasing the statement

and saying that?

Obviously everything,

but there's a lot of bad choices.

Choice number one,

you shouldn't have slept together.

Okay.

So maybe it did.

But you should have not told one person about that.

Like, I'm not kidding you.

Hit a grave.

This should have gone to the grave.

It obviously did not.

I wonder how it started like trickling out.

I wonder how Kyle actually found out about it.

How Sierra actually found out about it.

I mean, they've been taunting us the last few days.

Even Kyle's stories yesterday.

He posted one story yesterday

and he was walking and he heard like three gunshots.

And he said something in his story.

He's just giving like little sprinkles, little nuggets, little Easter eggs.

And he said like,

well, that's the first time that's ever happened to me.

And then he goes and picks up both the dogs,

felt it was like confirming Amanda's out of town.

That's why I have both of the dogs because they each separately have dogs.

Then he posts the Sierra photo of them together.

You know, they're giving us all these little nuggets along the way.

And I would love to know who actually told Kyle about this?

Because this is really hard.

I mean, who actually sat down with Sierra and told her about this.

Did they just hear the rumors like through page six, TMZ

or did close friends come to them?

What happened?

I'd love to know the timeline too.

This to me also, the statement,

the timelines are not that long to me.

I think people are going to be now watching these episodes

and trying to see any sort of clue they can grab about their relationship.

And I personally think

if this has been going on since last summer,

that is crazy because you're letting this man basically play you again,

Amanda, you're being played by another man by not putting any sort of title,

which there's no title here, right?

So if you're telling me it from last summer,

this is when it started evolving.

No, to me, that's crazy.

It's been like eight months.

That's not happening.

But I also think, too,

it's been a couple of months.

And I think maybe when the first thing happened in March,

and people were starting to get wind of it.

And we've said, too,

is like, what are the photos that are out there?

Like what evidence is there to support this?

Because if we can deny it,

then we don't have to say anything.

But if it's starting to like mount up and up and up and up

and all of a sudden,

there's going to be ways that we can't deny it.

Are we now just trying to like lean into it and say,

well, maybe we should test the waters because I don't know where this is going.

And this is going to blow up.

We've seen Scandival.

We've seen other situations like this.

What do we do now?

We do like each other.

I don't see West committing to a relationship.

Personally, I think he likes to be a single guy,

have his fun.

I think Amanda was doing that too,

a single hot girl summer, enjoying herself.

And now that it's blown up,

they have to choose a lane.

And the lane,

I was thinking,

if they just came out and said,

look, we hooked up once drunkenly.

It was nothing.

I thought,

what would the fan reaction be to that?

Would people be less or more forgiving on that?

And saying like,

oh, well, doesn't mean anything.

They're just friends.

No big deal.

Or would they go ride harder for Sierra, Kyle,

the dynamics of these relationships?

It really is a guessing game in a way.

And the way that you don't have anyone guess is by like not doing it.

But since we're here,

I mean, it definitely feels like they're soft launching a relationship

because they have to or because they want to.

I wonder that snow day is,

you know, in my mind,

I think that's when it all started.

I think that was the day it probably went down.

This reunion is going to be insane.

They're probably filming that rather soon.

We're already halfway through the season.

It's the week after that is what I've heard.

Will they still even be together by the reunion?

That's what I'm wondering.

I think we said with Skandoval, too,

is like when it came to Raquel and Tom.

Tom, I think saw it.

We have to go full in.

And then like Raquel and her family like pulled her back.

We're like,

we're going to get out of this completely.

You cannot be a part of this.

So do you go the route of,

we're going to be serious?

Or do you come to the reunion,

say, hey, we're together,

but because people are kind of not okay with it,

but are like,

okay, whatever.

And then do you quietly part ways after the fact?

What does it change with the show?

There's so much going on

because when you speak about families,

like, could you imagine having to explain this

to your parents?

And then it's all over the news.

And also, we have never known Amanda without a guy.

We have never seen her without a man.

We won't.

I mean, she's already attached herself to West.

I can't, are they actually,

are they hold up in LA together in a hotel room,

just avoiding the world?

When are we going to get their first picture together?

I am freaking out.

What are the clues?

Okay, so right now,

Sierra has blocked both of them.

I went and I checked,

they're not following.

And then like the comments are removed

because the tagged photos all that.

So I know it's been blocked.

We've gotten like kind of some first-hand accounts

of Sierra in New York,

like not having a good day.

Mia's on to follow them.

You know, it's like,

okay, this is obviously a huge shit storm.

They have kind of ruined these brand deals.

This is costing them business decisions

and life decisions

and the people that they surround themselves with.

I think for Amanda,

she might get some different brand deals,

maybe like less.

For me, it just feels like there was more to sacrifice

on West's end,

which is why I was having such a hard time believing it.

What were they thinking?

They were both at the top.

After last week's episode,

Amanda, you know,

separating from Kyle,

West defending her,

him being able to get back

in the good graces of fans.

They sat on that hill

and they rolled all the way down.

It's just crazy, too,

because the repercussions of this,

I guarantee you,

they are getting pulled out of brand deals.

What is the future of the show at this point?

I think honestly,

Kyle, I think it's going to get to go

to the summer house.

He's going to get to go to the Hamptons.

And I don't think

West and Amanda will be invited.

So I almost need the opposite, Mary.

I actually, like, see her in the summer house.

Oh my god.

She goes to in the city.

Kyle stays in the city.

West and Amanda go to the summer house.

And they get the primary.

If a man wanted to come back

and get the primary,

I feel like you know,

just asked people.

And they would have given it to her.

I don't think she needed to hook up with West to do so.

I feel just so terribly for Sierra and this.

And people like,

they haven't even dated.

Is it really that big of a deal?

It's like, yeah,

because one,

we're watching this summer back right now.

They're reliving this as the episodes.

Two, imagine the betrayal

from this friend who you have put on a pedestal

and said,

you're so much better than the way you're being treated.

I want the best for you.

I'm crying for you.

I want you to know that yourself worth needs

to be so much higher

than what you've given yourself.

I am your biggest cheerleader.

Amanda literally quoting saying,

I could not get through the summer

without having a loyal friend like Sierra.

It was like,

let me just let the season change and things change.

It's just the implications are so insane.

And I just cannot imagine a drunken hookup,

which I think is how it first started.

And wherever it is now is where it is,

was worth it.

And I said,

Amanda's in her self-sabotage era

because she doesn't give a fuck clearly of like

who she's hurting.

West is this fuck boy for them to do it.

It's a diabolical.

Diabolical.

Where do you think Jesse Solomon

is going to stand on all of this?

He gets so quiet on all this.

I think he's defending Sierra.

I think he'll forgive West

and put a quotes around that

because boys just like deal with things so differently.

What if I just like thinking about the reunion so much?

What if the couch next to Andy is like two catches just filled with the entire cast

and then on the other side is two chairs.

And it's just Amanda and West.

Like Andy is sitting so far to the left because the circle is the rest of the cast

and the two of them.

There was this rumor too that Carl hosted at Soft Bar last night a running club

and KJ was there and that, as I mentioned before,

no statements, none of that, but that they were chit-chatting there

so that people knew where they stood.

I also want to know too the thought process on Amanda and West

because they had to address this at this point, right?

Like, were there smoke, there was fire?

They couldn't wait till tomorrow.

We would love for it to be a prank because you don't want to think

that these people are inherently bad and you want to find the good

but doesn't, to me, feel like it's cheating.

I'm more wondering, is this true love?

Are they meant to be together?

Are they just being reckless and careless and not thinking and drunkenly hooking up?

And they couldn't release the statement tomorrow because people wouldn't think it was a prank.

I was giving him grace saying, oh, he never does well at a reunion.

And he doesn't like confrontation.

He knew he was going to have to answer all these questions.

So that's why he was going back and forth in the chair the whole time because he was waiting for it.

So, you know, the Rhode Island premiere happened last night.

And Dolores was asked about it.

And she's like, I'm not even going to calm down on that.

But Sierra is my girl and I have her back.

And I'm like, uh-oh Patterson.

Uh-oh Patterson's coming out.

They better watch out, but they also asked Andy.

And he's like, I have like no other news.

And I keep thinking back to that Chicago show where thinking back is like Saturday.

But where Andy was like, I really don't think so based on a conversation I had with West.

I'm like, people are such good liars.

Or I keep thinking too is for him.

It was a hook up that wasn't going to go any further and they were having fun.

Were they going to wait to talk about it at the reunion of giant bomb?

That's what I was wondering too.

Were they trying to get through the reunion?

Hopefully just get it filmed.

Not have to address it.

It was going to kind of get buried.

They thought by March when that first came out that they were able to bury it.

Nobody got a clue.

And then this rumor from that snark bait had talked about with somebody meeting up with Sierra to show her the photo.

Was it like, it's actually like irrefutable now.

Like you can't deny this.

It is 100% the truth.

There's no way that you could say this was, you know, we said yesterday, can you say it was a hug?

Can you say it was like a kiss on the cheek that somebody caught?

And then I'm thinking, I need to know more about the peeping Tom.

How did they get the photo in the apartment?

You little peeper?

Will you be able to forgive Amanda and West?

So that's why I'm saying this statement is important to the fan reaction because that's where the relationship with them, I think, lies.

If the fans are like, well, they'd be cute together because I'm already starting to see that too, right?

Like, oh, you know, actually Amanda and West do seem like a better couple than Amanda and Kyle or Sierra West, which is like, okay, whatever.

But if people are going to start forgiving them in that sense of like, oh, they're together.

Then they're like, okay, let's commit because the fans, the fans will accept us that way.

If the fans are going to like freak out at them, does it pull them apart?

Rekellen Tom's style and they just circle the drain.

What do you think?

I don't even like comparing it to scandival because I don't believe there was any cheating.

I just meant the relationship status between Rekellen Tom.

Like Tom, Tom thought we have to be together and she said, no, let's end this and the repercussions of not being together.

I think might have been worse than if they pretended to stay together.

So I think that people will be a little bit more forgiving for them because no cheating.

I personally am not going to be able to forgive them.

And for Amanda to go for her friend's guy is so strange.

And then for West to do this to Kyle is not okay.

I think for you, what I think upsets you too.

And I was kind of damning with real moms of Bravo who are pretty close to West because they have their Midwest connection.

And I was like, I'm actually, I feel bad because I think this is going to, you know, we say, you don't know these people.

But when you do interact with them and like we spent the day on the boat with West and he was so fun.

And then it's like, they do something like this.

You're like, oh, I actually don't know who you are.

I thought that you were, you know, Mary, we were in that New York Times article.

You know, I think it's just you don't know these people at the end of the day.

And you want to see the good and everyone and you wish that these things wouldn't happen.

Are they going to pick up cameras for reactions prior to the reunion?

If we have a couple of weeks, are we re-jiggering the season finale to do reactions?

Are we going to open with the reunion with reactions?

Or are we going to wait for first reactions as a group together at the reunion?

In my fantasy world, cameras are rising.

Cameras are going up right now.

And you know what, I can even take an iPhone footage.

And they can film themselves and just kind of talking to their iPhones.

I mean, like, I can't even believe what happened today.

And this is like the first 15 minutes of the reunion.

And then we have to sit down together.

It doesn't need to be much.

Like, I don't know if we need it in the season finale.

I think especially, too, because I was thinking,

like, the season finale of what we think is going to happen is leaving the summer house and going into the city.

And then that's how we start the next show.

But at this point, it's like, we've really got to change how everything ends.

We have to do some pickup shots.

I think it makes sense to start the reunion out like that.

I am very nervous for them at the reunion.

We've already said West does not do the reunion as well.

Amanda's never had to defend herself because she's always had a partner with Kyle or whoever.

It's going to be, here's a note, though.

When it comes to this, and we saw it with Scandival is like,

Lala and James went to a degree where I was like,

Ariana, I understood her anger.

It happened directly to her.

Obviously, like, James is kind of the Kyle here, right?

But the anger that they had was really off putting to see them go after them.

I'm like, I just need like everyone to have the right amount of anger and like,

upset and disappointment, but to also recognize that like,

you need to actually just sit in silence to to let them answer.

True.

However, they could potentially have ruined people's jobs like in a big, big way.

Oh, I guess I'm just saying with the reunion is like,

don't go the Lala route because Lala was taking her anger of a projection with Randall

and then doing all she did.

And then she turned on Ariana the next season because they made her film.

I mean, it is true.

It's like, how do you look at the next filming schedule?

I'd also love to know too.

It was like, after the first time that they hooked up or whatever happened,

were they like, never again?

And then they're like, oh my God, we're like magnets.

We're so attracted to each other.

And it happened or it's just like, what is the timeline?

I think a lot of drinks were involved.

Not that it makes it okay.

We're just trying to figure out what was the timeline.

How dare you try to get the heat off you like showing everything's okay.

But it just cuts so much deeper, I think, with Amanda and Sierra.

Completely.

It's like the betrayal of that friendship.

You can say relationships with men come and go.

But like, your friends are truly, this sounds so stupid.

But like, sex in the season.

Like, maybe your friends are your soulmates and the men are the people we date.

You almost expect West to disappoint you in a way.

But Amanda.

Amanda.

And then I don't want to be like harder on the girl than the guy.

Because I don't like that either.

They're both completely wrong.

But at the end of the day, I think the most hurt here is Sierra.

And that's because of her friendship with Amanda.

Good for her protecting her peace, blocking both of them.

I can't imagine like being her because also too.

It's like how many times did they deny it to her?

How many times did they say nothing's going on?

How many times did they tell that cast?

This is so silly.

I can't believe this is a rumor.

I think about that first we feast where Mia.

Like, she had a little bit of an attitude towards West.

Where did it go from innocent to flirting to not so innocent?

Who made the first move?

Where was it?

Where people around?

Was it in public?

Who knew first from the cast that there were still so many unanswered questions?

Then I need answered.

I feel like this is a very tricky spot for Paige to be in.

Hannah had posted some video and I didn't watch the video.

I just had seen that like Queens of Bravo had reposted Paige's comments.

That was like, the internet's a crazy place.

And it's like, I guess we know where Hannah lies.

I think she's going to ride for Sierra.

I think she'll try to publicly maybe stay out of it, but also at the same time.

I think Hannah and Paige as a group lie with Sierra.

Sierra was at Hannah's bachelor at party.

She went to the wedding.

I think those three are much closer.

I would actually potentially go against that, but not today because I'm Team Sierra in general.

I hope right now, and I know this is like hurting Sierra emotionally,

but I hope she's going to offer after offer after offer.

I hope she has the world at her fingertips.

I hope she gets some deals that if she wants to leave the show,

which I don't think as we talked about yesterday, she should,

but she has opportunities to do so much more.

She deserves it.

And if you think of commitment, the first person on that cast

I'm thinking is going to commit is not West.

Something that came across my brain the other day is,

Jesse Solomon is the next bachelor.

He'd be great.

He could really do the bachelor.

Jesse and Kyle must be secretly loving this.

We've never seen that.

So maybe that's why I can't imagine it.

It's just old news to me now.

I genuinely don't care about the city anymore.
