Welcome back to Two Judgy Girls. This is Mary from the Bay. And it's Courtney from LA and it is Summer House Tuesday. Now, not to be confused with Summer House Monday update Summer House Friday update Summer House Thursday updates. It's just regular summer house Tuesday. It's regular summer house. We're going to be recapping tea time. But of course, we have to go over the news. What transpired in the last 24 hours? Courtney, kick us off. I don't want to. There's just so much. It's just never end. Now, we said this yesterday too, is I'm like over the investigative journalism of it all. I just want to watch my stupid little show. But there are some like tangible aspects that are happening. For instance,
Lindsey has unfollowed West Wilson. But not Amanda. I think that is more complicated. They obviously have such a history together. I also think they're on in the city together. West is not. And so, I don't think it makes sense for her to unfollow Amanda at this point from a business perspective. And she is a PR maven. She's always thinking big business at the end of the day. That Uber ease. And, you know, she's a smart cookie. Well, she's also worried. I think about in the city, which is her next vehicle, which we know she has been looking for what goes on after Summer House for Lindsey. This is really kind of messing with her career. That's something that you said is not only is it jumbling their personal lives, but this is also throwing things up business-wise in the air. Totally, totally. Yesterday, West posts his first story since the joint statement. And it is a photo of him throwing up the peace sign with Soho Brody, who is the man that does
the whiteboard explanations, oftentimes featuring West. And they were at the NCAA Men's Championship game. What are your thoughts on this post? I think he was trying to see how people would respond, although you couldn't message him about the story. So I feel like he was testing the waters. How mad are people with me? And facing pretty bad. I don't also know what they're supposed to do. Any photo he posted would be ridiculed regardless. People think that he should be living in a hole and he should never emerge. And we know that he's there because he went from the final four in Phoenix where the women were playing to Indianapolis where the men were playing because he was doing podcast episodes and both. And I'm not defending him. I don't think that the photo he chose was a good one. I probably would have maybe done something more in a professional aspect.
But I also think it was kind of him saying, like, fuck you guys. Or a little bit like, I'm just going to move on from this. My life is going to resume. I think it was Bravo and cocktails that had said they got in a hold of some text that West had sent somebody else. I was like, West, you better start checking your friend group of who is the mole here, but said something along the lines. And for him that he and Amanda are more serious on what people are saying, it's not just a hookup. And who cares about dating your ex's friend of someone you dated two years ago? So not even considering Kyle, but referring to Sierra. Sierra cares about everything. Okay, first off, fuck you in a way of whoever he's talking to. But secondly, too, is like, who is exposing this? Because that's not a good look. Well, who are you more mad at? West or Amanda? Or are you equal? I think they both are bad in this. I'm not mad at either of them. It's more like disappointment in the sense of, wow, you guys really had everything and you flew too close
to the sun. I think they deserve equal brunt. And I think when people are blaming Amanda more, is that feels more misogynistic of the woman always taking the brunt while I said it. She told her cow. She told her, I think West doing this to Sierra, especially potentially hooking up very close to when he's also hooking up with Amanda. And I think his friendship with Kyle that sucks because I think there was the level of betrayal. And I think Amanda won't even put Kyle into the equation of this because they were separated. But Amanda, who said that Sierra is one of her best friends, that's a level of betrayal too. The one that I most upset for is Sierra out of all of this. And then Kyle, I'm what about you? I'm also very curious because say West and Sierra were hooking up. It seems to be like in the last month or two or something like that. Yeah. 2026, I'd say, it's not that there might have been a hookup. That what if Sierra told Amanda that?
See, that's what I said, that would be really upsetting. But I should both shoulder the blame because at the end of the day, there wasn't cheating happening. The saddest part at the end of the day is Amanda and Sierra's friendship will never, never, ever, ever, ever, ever, and for. Yeah. Be a friendship again. No, exactly. Who lost a friend? Yeah. That's the saddest part of the story to be honest. I think as viewers, as like you and I, I think our disappointment comes from the fact of like Amanda finally left her relationship. We were so happy to see her. You just had messed up. And then it seemed as if like Sierra forgave him. And so then we as viewers could forgive him. He rose back to the top. And then you're just like, oh, he's like a dog. We don't know these people. But the betrayal really comes from the people around them. And to a point where it was like, even if because you said you got to get married now, you got to get married. But even if that was like a relationship, like once they started hooking up and they didn't stop
after that first time, you have to realize now you are burning all the bridges around you. I just think he's going to come to the reunion and really downplay the Sierra relationship. And he's going to be like, we hooked up that summer. Then we tried to do things in the fall. And I told you I don't want to be in a relationship. So I don't know what I'll say to you. And he's going to downplay it. I think that you are correct about that. People are like, why is he just galloping around the country and Amanda looks depressed in her pictures. He still has to work. He's got this podcast. He's recording episodes from he's going to the game because that's his job. I won't be shocked if they come to the reunion as a couple. I just don't believe it. I think he's probably got so scared of all of this. And he hasn't wanted to be in a relationship this whole time that we've known him. I can't imagine it's like, I finally found the one. No, I really, really think
he will blindsided Amanda at the reunion that they're not going to be together. And he will downplay this year's situation. See, I would love to be in their text messages right now because I would love to know if they're like, we can't do this anymore. Or if it's something serious, and they're like, we're still going to try where Kyle falls in all of this too. Is he going to be defending Amanda? Yes. So complicated on so many different levels. I think the whole thing is shocking. So shocking to me is because they were both on top of the world in a sense. Like, Amanda could do no wrong because she had left Kyle. I said that she was so wrong and she screwed her friend over so much. And now you just see her and you watch her on summer house and my stupid little show I want to watch. I sit there and I'm trying to separate the art from the artist and watch this show. And then you start second guessing all of the moves. Like, I watched this episode and
I'm like, there's just no way they could be doing any of this during the season. And I'm trying to like separate that. I even text you though, like, do you feel like this was a westless episode because they were editing it or is it just like divine intervention that he was in Italy? And so there wasn't content to show of him. I don't think they edited this episode because of this scandal at all. I think he wasn't there to edit out in any way because he was in Italy. I just, I really, I think we need to write down all the questions we need Andy to ask because question number one would be when was the first time you hooked up? Question number two, what's the second time? Have you gone on to date one on one without group? How about since the scandal is broken? Have they had a meetup? Add that? Addendum. When was the last time you hooked up with Sierra? Was there overlapping between Sierra and Amanda? Can you imagine if you had to sit there and answer these questions because it's your job? Did Sierra tell Amanda she and her were considering trying to
date again? There are questions that we could probably get answers and questions that we don't. Honestly, I would actually love if Sierra came into the reunion like Guns of Blazing was like, here's my timeline. Here's my timeline. No whiteboard on a whiteboard. Yeah, putting it on the big screen. She's like, here's what happened at the end of summer. Here is when we had a rendezvous. There was nothing there. Here in January is when he told me we should maybe start seeing each other. Here's us at Super Bowl and I went home with him. And then she just lights it all on fire. But any point that he was trying to downplay, she's like, no, no, no, not only that screen shots the text messages. Do you think they hooked up on Super Bowl? No, right? No. They were very chummy at Super Bowl. And if there was a recent hookup, I could see that being then. I don't know. I think at the reunion is I want an honest timeline. I wonder how specific he will be though.
Does he want to expose himself in a way of like, hey, I told all these people that nothing was serious. I'm a single guy in New York who, you know, goes out, might meet somebody and hook up with them. And that's what you do at 31. I'm not saying the sweet you do, but that's what he's saying. No, I think a lot of people do that. I'm not trying to defend West is what I mean here. Oh, no. And then I think it's like a man and I made a mistake. It was drunk. It was stupid. We said never again, but we also hang out in the same group and it developed and that joint statement was probably put out way too early. But at the same time, there was so many rumors about it. But we really are trying to figure out what this is because it does feel like it could be something more. I just don't think that honesty is going to come through on that. I think he's going to play silent. Was he silent or silent Mary? Both in this case. Yeah. The cast. How do they play it? Because obviously they're all upset. Everyone is seemingly very team seara. How do they play it?
Lindsey is going to be way too activated. It's going to annoy me. I'm really curious because Carl posted the green screen of a confessional. So they must be doing something to tack on to the end here. I think Carl will kind of try to see maybe the best in everybody, but be team seara. But he has a relationship with Amanda. I think that's why he's a mess, Mary. Yeah. Yeah. I think that's why he's a mess. I will wonder though if they start flashing these things of like things that had happened because then I think within the city, you can still air the entire season. I'm here to see it, but you can't not add this to the end of it, right? Have they talked to Amanda West's production side and asked for a timeline because does the timeline line up with when they were filming too? Like were things happening at BravoCon? When did this start? Again, the biggest thing here I think is the betrayal factor. I'm being lied to and like the sneaking around. That's
the ickyest part. That's why I asked in a year if it happened, would you be as disappointed knowing that because maybe Kyle and Amanda divorced at that point. Seara and West are no longer. They've realized that their boundaries, straight friendship, Amanda has talked to Seara. There's just so much further removed. Would that change? Of course, time would help them a little bit, but at the end of the day, the relationship between Amanda and Seara. That's the most upsetting part of it. Boys will be boys. If you ask me, I'd never trust a man. We shouldn't. It's just so disappointing to think that your friendship, you just start thinking, did it really mean nothing? I say she's in her self-sabotage, light the world on fire. I don't think either of them were thinking about the full consequences of it. If they were, I think they were giving themselves excuses of why it was okay. They probably kept on saying that. It was just a drunk thing. It's just for fun. We will tell them when we're ready to tell them. I don't even think it's that big of a deal,
though. I like where we are right now with being able to not have to be public with this, and the little clues we give each other. What if he comes to the reunion and says, I love her. I just, I really don't imagine that happening. I really think he is going to separate himself from her. Then I'm like, what are also we going to talk about with the reunion? Do we care about anyone else's packages? I mean, this is really serious things up. This is not going to be a typical reunion. How would you play this if you're bravo, though? It's almost like maybe you start off with a couple of different storylines, but obviously the meat and potatoes here is Amanda West, and you can't avoid it, even though it has nothing to do with the season as of now, unless we find out something about a timeline. But at the end of the day, it's like, this is the main thing people are going to be tuning in. You're going to have, let's say this probably will be a three-part reunion at least at this point. The second episode
will be dedicated to this. The end of the first will touch upon it, and then the beginning of the third. How do you sandwich it in for people to care? You obviously talk about the Amanda and Kyle divorce, and I think that segues in, but everybody else? No, I think nobody gets a package, and that you just start with it, and then try to figure out, is there any way to make amends or move forward? Because where is Summer House going based on this reunion? And spin it that way, and then you can interstitial relationships with that. Like they could do a cagey, me a Sierra package, even a Sierra package on her own, buying the house, Lindsay no package, Carl no package, Kyle and Amanda can have a package, West no package. Jesse, sorry, you're singing. Maybe that's actually how we start the reunion. Like, Andy will be like, hey, Jesse, do you want to kick us off with an intention? He's like, I guess I'll start hoping away that the
cast can get together, and we can all hug it out. I don't even know the lyrics. All I know is I guess I'll start, and that just repeats in my head over, and it's an ear worm. It's all over TikTok. I prayer for Coachella this weekend is that I go watch a DJ set, and someone has remixed, I guess I'll start. You're going to see Jesse Solomon, I bet. Cross my fingers. Let's take a break and come back with the episode. Okay, we're still at Lindsay's housewarming party, and this Sabrina girl is insane you guys. She has studied the show. She knows the players. I think her and Ben were together the entire summer. He was texting her every little bit. It's the last two weekends. So he's finally like, okay, I can tell everyone I'm actually in a relationship. He had to come on the show single. That was what they said. They told him, oh, you're single
great, because we're not doing people in relationships as new cast members, except for Mia, because we love her. What do you mean you've had a girlfriend? I'm on the Jesse train with this, too. Him saying that, of course, with timing, too. And he's like, he had a secret girlfriend. I think that's a theory. And I just started laughing. If only we knew what we know. Yeah. Jesse is totally outing Ben, but this Sabrina girl, she's like, see, see her. And she's like, oh my god, I'm obsessed with you. Connection. I don't do this often. I never find soulmates often, but I saw you and I knew. I knew it right away. I'm like, you are so creepy. Bringing the flowers for Lindsay. She was like, okay, get Lindsay on my good side. The way that she introduced herself to Jesse, oh my god, I've heard so many good things about you that you're just like so cool. Like nobody has ever said Jesse is cool. If you said it was about West, I'd believe it. The way she inserted herself, she's like, I mean, I don't what is going on with your relationship. You deserve true love. If it's not him, you know what we can go on, find it. I want you happy.
Amanda's never talked to this woman before. Like how creepy is this? This is a fan of the entire franchise. She knows the work as twins. She knows Steven McGee. But she has know her. She has watched from the beginning. She got Ben on the show. She was like, wait, you went to a wedding with Amanda and Kyle, Ben, you're hot. And also though, I'm going to make you grow this little mustache. And I'm going to Corey Matthews your hair because I don't want any other girl to have you. I think she saw me talking to him from being super hot. But she said, we're going to get you on that show. That's your end. You could be single. And you can make out with one girl one time. I went on her social media. She has about 30,000 followers. She definitely like curated it down. But then in her highlights, she has this trip to Australia. And you guys, she's one of these girls. She has Ben bringing her flowers. And I'm like, well, how did you know he was bringing new flowers? Like, she was filming and he accidentally walked it with flowers.
Like, everything is curated. There isn't that much on her social media. I bet she scrubbed it because she knew this episode's coming out. I think she runs Ben's Instagram as well. And look, your partner should be obsessed with you. Okay, they should love you to the end degree. The best relationship advice that we've always heard is you should be with someone who loves you more than you love them. But it just feels like the captions written have a woman's touch. And then it makes me think about March Manness because I was kind of shocking. He didn't participate or like something like if he didn't respond to a message, not even like a heart like acknowledging it. And that's what I'm telling you. I think she wants to be ugly to others and hot to her. She was truly fascinating. I wish we got to meet her like a month ago to be honest. Like, I wish she was on our screens a little bit before. We needed a little crazy. And I think Amanda was being kind of a little bit of a pick me with the situation about what she
said to Sabrina, but we'll get there. But even the fact that they're going to have a scene next week, I was like, Oh, Sabrina has been waiting to have conflict. Sabrina, you didn't even know she's going to be in a controversy when your episode comes out. Right. Also like the juxtaposition between Dara and Sabrina. I mean, how crazy is that? Like Dara's brand new too. She's like calm, cool, collective, like slid right in. No problem. Sabrina is scary. Amanda's like, why does she know so much? This is really off-putting. Well, and then too at the housewarming party, you hear because that party is so crowded. I also was wondering if this was Lindsay's birthday party because Lindsay didn't get a party at the house. We did Kyle's birthday party. And then we're going back to the house. It's not Lindsay had her birthday during the week, but she has the housewarming. So I'm assuming this is also her birthday party. Okay. We're celebrating the house warming. So you're because listening, right? You're seeing a scene of people, but you're actually
just hearing the conversation. She's like, oh my god, I was looking for people I knew. And they're just being inviting the girls in summer house. But Sabrina is saying that they're like, oh, you can like stand with us. Oh my god, my friends. It's like, baby, you just met them 10 minutes ago. And then to be the first thing you say to Amanda is like, so what's going on with this relationship? You know what that is? That is like a crazy fan that doesn't know what to say and like got put in front of that person. So just starts like word vomiting because you're so excited to be in their presence that you're like, oh my god, I just want the best for you. You're so cool. I love your style. Like Kyle isn't treating you that well. You deserve the absolute world. Could you imagine going up to someone you've never met and talking about their relationship with them because you know how bad it is? Like it's psychotic. It's not even I love your relationship. You're a Kyler so cute. It's like so when are you divorcing? It's so so psychotic. It's all so, oh god, when she finds out about Dara and then I'm scared for Ben. Because Bailey's like, well, you know,
I saw you go into his room and she's like, no, I did. She's also telling different details. So last week at the end of the episode, she's like, no, nothing happened. I didn't go into Ben's room. Then this week she says, actually, they put my suitcase in his room. So I went into there to change, but we watch her carry her suitcase and roll it into Ben's room. So the details are murky in the sense of what Dara is saying as the full truth. I think at the beginning, she probably was open totally. And now with anyone flirting with anyone. So the first person she flirts with is Ben. And Ben is doing like full core press on her. And then she's like, I'm not super into it. She starts talking to KJ. They really hit it off. They're still together in real time. And she's like kind of rewriting history a little bit as she says he did. But she's like, well, he got his feelings hurt because he got rejected by me. And maybe that is the case. Do I think she went in
that room? Yeah. Did she change in there? Yeah. I mean, we have evidence. Like you said, I don't think it was anything nefarious. She wasn't even with KJ at this point. She had just met both of them. I think she was kind of being young, flirty and fun and seeing who she was vibing with at the end of the day. It wasn't Ben. But then I started laughing when she was like, what do you mean he denied that we weren't flirting? Like she was starting getting offended. I guess that's what somebody would say when their feelings get hurt. And I started laughing just being like, I think he is downplaying it because you did start dating KJ. And then he didn't want to make a big deal of it because KJ is on his head about this relationship. I don't think either of them were being bad. No. But then I loved to Bailey was like, well, okay, why am I getting the blame for this? Like you did go in the room. He was flirting. And I've been watching Ben like a hawk because I think he's hot. Right. And I think he wants to have his mites misses. I think Bailey is everyone. I love Bailey. She is such a girls girl. And I don't
think anything will transpire with her in Carl, which also it's kind of crazy that we've barely seen Safbar this whole summer because I don't think he got it open on time for them filming. No, I know that they filmed there for in the city. I know Kyle and him had a scene there. I also did think it was sweet because I do think that Bailey is potentially interested in Carl. And I noticed that at Lindsay's party, she was drinking a non-alcoholic margarita. And then when they went golfing, she ordered a diet coke. I think he appreciates that. Well, that was the nicest thing that happened to him that night because Lindsay made it very uncomfortable for him. She gives the speech, but she hates giving speeches. Flashback to every speech she's given that sometimes last hour. You can see as she starts talking, like Carl's like does this big goal, like swallow. And she's like, you know, I have lots of new friends, old friends. I have one expiante here.
Sierra's like, gross, that's gross. Carl would never, but I wish he would have been like, that's me. Like, I wish he would have played it to it. He just felt so uncomfortable because he was like, I can't believe she invited me here. And then he's like, oh God, two mentions in a speech. Like, I can't escape this. He did get the thank you text, though. And when he talked about Lindsay Hubbard's name popping up on his phone, he's like, I was jarring. It was scary. I didn't know what I was opening up. Carl does not have the messages. Do you have on your phone where it'll say a Courtney frame, I message? Or do you have where it shows my message? I message. Oh, I have the message. I know. I feel like that's very dangerous. Why? People can't. People can read your messages. Well, why are you talking so much shit? I'm not talking shit. I just don't want people to read my messages. See, my thing is, though, is I don't always want to open my messages. So when I can see what it is, I know if I need to respond to it or if I can let it sit for a minute. So I like being able to see that. And then I silence the messages that I never care about what they say in
it. So I don't get a notification about it because it's just muted in my messages. I think it's crazy people that put I message. I guess I'm just trusting. I think it's a good person who doesn't talk badly about people. So I'm not worried who would see a message. I think it is risky, risky business. Well, I think you would think that if you're talking bad in your messages. I was also a teacher for 15 years. I don't want children reading my messages. So look, just say it, talk shit. Well, we know I do that. Okay, let's take one more break and come back. Let's talk a little bit about Mia because we got to meet Scott this week. Thoughts on Scott. I feel like we needed more of an intro to Scott. I wanted to see him here, and then I wanted to see like a one-on-one lunch or something with him. He seems lovely.
I also thought between meeting Scott and then Mia telling a little bit more of her backstory at the lunch with Amanda and Lindsay. I was like, oh wow, this is a really non-conventional relationship for her of what she's like looking for. I'm very worried. I'm super worried. I don't think we know enough about him, but I'm worried that she had to make a contract. I'm worried that the contract says you can't be gone for more than 10 days at a time. I like that she set those boundaries. What bothers you about that? I want to ask this because I don't actually think that's crazy. I think 10 days is way too long to go without seeing each other. No, I know, but when he's opening a restaurant, I feel like he could be gone three weeks at a time. Then when he has a day off, he doesn't fly back or do whatever. She's saying 10 days because you're doing what you need to do. That's the max. It feels like this is going to be hard
to have kids with someone that has got that much. He asked the question. She didn't answer, but Lindsay was like, how long have you guys been together? I don't know how long they've been together. Has this always been what their relationship has been like? Because she's in real estate, it sounds like she might only be able to do real estate in New York. She maybe doesn't have as many opportunities to fly, especially on a weekend when that's the biggest time for real estate with open houses and selling. But also the biggest time for restaurants, too. I'm sure it works on the weekends. You're right. Maybe Monday, Tuesday, really is their weekend and works for them. I want the best for me. I love Mia so hard and watching this episode with Sierra talking about her house, Mia talking about her background, which is that her dad passed when she was 22. Then like a year and a half ago, her mom had passed. And I thought, her and Sierra really are sisters. Sierra has kind of a tough relationship with her mom. We got to meet her this week. And then obviously doesn't talk to her dad that I was like, I love that they live in the same building together. And I really think that they are each other's people. I love their relationship. But
I am worried about Scott. I just, I think there's some red flags. And I want the best for Mia. When Lindsay said, so do you have a timeline? It was tough for her to cough that word out. And then she was like, well, you know, you can pay for a village, which honestly most people have to do now. Most people, I think both parents work now. It's tough when Mia says that she wants to have a baby because she thinks it would heal her. I was like, oh my god, because she wants to have that mother daughter relationship that she's missing. And she just feels like she has so much love to give. And I just hope that if she's super in love with Scott and he's going to be at home more than great. But it made me nervous. It made me nervous. What I also loved when she's about having a baby to give her love to. And then Lindsay could so relate. I was like, this is a friendship I also want to happen is Mia and Lindsay. And it's really been nice to see Lindsay bond so much more
with the women this season. There's just something so different about Lindsay this season. But there's just her being able to say, I don't talk to my mom, the feeling you're talking about, I completely understand. I don't know. I just like loved it. I'm excited to see Lindsay on the city. Yeah. This was fun. This lunch. But I just don't think Lindsay fits into summer house at all anymore. She's so ready for the next phase. But I also want to see her dating when she said that comment. What's your name? He's like, Paulo from Columbia. She's like, I had a nice night with a Paulo from Columbia. And then the guy goes, I hope he was good. So I was like, how can you not love her? I know. Okay, let's talk about Sierra and her mom. I felt like that came out of nowhere. I was very shocked to see her mom on camera. The way that Sierra got her house is pretty crazy. So she basically had to create a trust with the different name so that she could buy it from her family without them knowing. I watched that scene twice and I laughed both
times just at her delivery of it. So I told my accountant, I wanted to buy this house. Then we got a real estate agent and then I got a trust and then I got another LLC and then the real estate agent in my attorney then went there. We put it in offer. They denied it. Then we put it in a higher offer. Then I got it and they still have no idea. It's me, but they will now because they're watching this show. I am very interested to see how that goes down. I'm sure we'll hear about that at the reunion. I also, I'm just so proud of Sierra too, because okay, I was thinking about it. I'm like, what if Sierra was having a bad season? I think she's just had such a fantastic season. She feels so much herself. She's doing all these things with her life and she's just like progressing forward. And to see her buying this house, we get to go to the house. How often are we doing that? They've literally flew a camera crew to North Carolina so that we could see this process of her renovating the house while also, you know, preserving it the way that her grandparents would want to. I love this scene so much because I was like, thank God she's doing all these things and we get
to see this and that people get to see her for like the amazing person that she is because it would be really hard to have to see her struggling during this season. We want the best for her. And so seeing her doing all these things, I'm like, God, I'm just so happy that she has all of these different outlets that she's living her life through. She's thriving. 100%. Her mom was like, you know, he's gonna have to know at some point. I think at the reunion, we will find out Sierra, you bought a house like, oh, now your dad knows what happened. And I kind of love how she did it to where she was like, I don't want any special treatment. I don't want him to sell it to me for like one dollar. It was just like, I loved this house. I have the means to own it. And it could be an opening if she ever wanted to reconcile with her dad. And it could also be, I think from his perspective, I hope that he sees it like, wow, I'm proud of my daughter. I'll be very curious what his final reaction was when he finds out that she was a person to buy it. Let's go into the following
weekend. Okay. So this is really interesting. Carl on the ride up tells everyone he is just having a tough time with Kyle because Kyle didn't reach out to him. It was the five year anniversary of his brother's passing. And it also links up with Lindsay's birthday. Kyle posted a happy birthday to Lindsay on Instagram, but never reaches out to Carl the same day. Also, I'm like, Kyle, in your mind, how did those two things not come together? I even remember that. You know what I mean? The timeline of it. So Carl is really upset because it's one thing not to hear from him. But then on top of it, he posts a Lindsay happy birthday Instagram. So he's super upset. And he tells the house and West goes to Kyle and fills him in. And Kyle immediately just starts making excuses and West is like, stop. Definitely don't lead with you had laundry that day in an important
phone call. Just say you forgot and apologize and don't say, but Carl says too. He's like, Jesse reached out. He wasn't even there that summer. I love knowing too that Carl and Sierra have such a relationship outside of this when Sierra brought up. So by the way, I talked to Lindsay about that text message. I'm like, oh, that's because Carl told Sierra Lindsay had sent a text message. And then I also wondered too. Did Lindsay send a text message? Just thinking for the book and also about his brother. And then I thought, I wonder if Amanda did and I wonder if Amanda purposely didn't remind Kyle not because she needs to remind Kyle. I would be curious if Amanda sent him a text. I'm not sure. Yeah. But all Kyle needed to do is be like, I'm so sorry. I forgot. I don't need you to tell me you know that Lindsay would get upset if I didn't post anything for your birthday. He literally just needs to be like tail between his legs. I'm so sorry. That was terrible of me. You're right. I was one of the first people you came to. I can't believe I forgot. Yeah, I've been preoccupied
but that I should never forget about that. I'm really sorry. Don't say why you couldn't say it. Why you didn't say it? Just say you're sorry. Well, I think it was really telling when Carl was like, well, I know how Amanda feels. He wouldn't care about any of us if this house was bringing down. He would take out his DJ shit, get his equipment. And Carl wants to go off on him. He wants to say fuck you. But he also apparently needs a line and a bottle of rosé to do that. He wants to rage on Kyle. But Kyle, making the excuse like, well, and also like, you do a lot of cool shit. And like, you never invite me to those things. I'm like, Kyle, not the time. What are you talking about? At the end of the day, it shows who your real friends are when you're going through hard times and difficult times. And yeah, did Kyle have a bad summer? Of course. But I'm sorry. This is non-negotiable. You check on your friends when things like this happen and you have to remember
these days. Yeah. And the thing is is like, I understand if Kyle forgot. I'm sure he has 150,000 things that are going on. He's trying to save his marriage. He's trying to save his company. And unfortunately, he's let his friendships go to the wayside while he's trying to do all of this. And he's just like has like tunnel vision of doing this. He just needed to say, I'm sorry. It's starting to build up with Carl. And he's getting this resentment for Kyle, which I think then escalates and culminates into the fight between the two of them at the end of the season. At a certain point, Kyle's going to become his bitch eating crackers. Like anything Kyle does is just going to piss Carl off because Carl also is such a people pleaser. He doesn't want people to be upset. And instead of just saying, I'm really upset with you. He like doesn't want any friction between him and Kyle because he'll say too, I know Kyle's going through a really hard time and I'll set aside his feelings because of that. It's actually kind of crazy because this whole Western Amanda thing has really united the rest of them through this, which is insane at the end
of the day. But you're watching all this, almost watching it like you guys are going to be okay. You will have to weather this storm and there is going to be a huge thing that's going to rock all of you. But at the end of the day, it's going to bring you all closer together and look, you're a mess, Carl, but I'm going to help you through it. Okay. Then the other thing that was really wild is Ben is annoyed at Amanda because Amanda told Sabrina everyone in the house thinks he's in love with me. And Sabrina obviously did not like that. When Ben pulls Amanda, she knows what is coming. She's like, oh no, I said that weird comment to Sabrina. And then it just made me think, oh my god, she's such a pick me. And I only think this because I know what happened. I would never have thought this weeks ago. And I'm just like, why would she say that? That is so strange. Like, what was your intention? Well, then I thought to what she's saying, like, oh my god,
I'm so glad to finally meet you because everybody in the house was saying he was in love with me, but obviously he's in love with you or something like that. No, that's so weird. I know. I guess, I'm trying to look at it as a lens of what we know, but I don't want to know. Like this is just my silly little show and nothing bad has happened in the real world of these relationships. So I was trying to think like, was she just trying to be silly? Because what a weird thing to say to somebody's girlfriend, although are they girlfriend boyfriend? What's the timeline Benjamin? Also, how many times has Amanda been in hot water on the show? Not that many. I'd say the cheating stuff, mostly with Kyle that ruining the house vibes because her and Kyle are fighting, but I'd say her and Jules had some drama. She started that shit with Luke with that ended with I don't like you. We had the Hannah stuff. That's why they're not friends. And then there was some Lindsey drama too. But realistically, her plot point has always been Kyle
focused. Never really other housemates. Right. And she's always the good one because it's always her. It's always her and Kyle. So and it's their fighting 17-page email Mary. She's never really been in like a ton of hot water by herself. I've never had to defend herself on her own. She's either had Kyle to do it for her or Paige and Hannah or Sierra. She's never had to fight a battle alone. And it will be interesting for the reunion if they come in as a collective to some or if they're going to try to save themselves at or are expensive the other or are Kyle and Amanda coming as united front dating each other again to the reunion. Based on nothing. Based on nothing. In my mind, I was like, they could get back together. But then you see how fiercely loyal Kyle is to Sierra. And it was that scene where they were talking about the fifth wheel. And Kyle was like,
oh, Sierra is going to be the fifth wheel. And Amanda is like, no, it's you Kyle. Him and Sierra look at each other, start laughing. And then he even says to Sierra, I will sit in the awkward chair. And I know that's such a small comment and doesn't mean anything. But I think he was really saying, like, I would love for you to ever come out with us, Sierra. You're never the fifth wheel when you come out with us. And I think that's also why it bothered him so hard when he snapped at the table in the beginning of the season because she said, like, is this playing about us? You know, is this dinner about us? He is so loyal to Sierra too that I wonder if getting back together with her if that is on the table. What do you think? I cannot wait for this reunion. I wish it was on the 15th. It sounds like it's going to be like on the 23rd. I just, I'm so curious what the direction the show is going to go in. Also, I mean, think about this week, like, we didn't get any West this week. Jesse, even KJ, which is kind of crazy next week is going to be nuts. West is hooking up with someone in front of Sierra. It was in front of our eyes, Mary, the whole time. Carl wants to rage on
Kyle and he needs Thursday and a line to do it. Okay. So the in the city trailer just came out right now. The premier day is May 19th, which is six Tuesdays from now. It does seem like they might be driving from that season finale. That must be the 519 season finale of summer house into in the city. This is giving me such the valley vibes. So the valley, lots of new couples, lots of new faces, familiar faces is Danielle, who apparently is dating a married man. Funny coming from Amanda to being like, he's got a whole ass wife and I'm like, little do you know what's coming unless you already know because you started it then. Okay. I don't know. Then we see West in the trailer, meeting up with Amanda. Then I thought the trailer would have more Kyle and Amanda to be honest, which is maybe refreshing. It's only at the end her saying to someone, do you know how many times he cheated on me? She says, who was in our apartment last night? We don't have a prenup. Amanda says
to Kyle, she says, if you come for me, I'll come for you. Kyle says, well, that'll be a losing battle and Amanda responds, is that a threat? I think they reworked this trailer because I do think it was going to be obviously very Amanda and Kyle centric about separating. But based on all the other couples that we have in here, I'm not worried about it. I love seeing Andrea and Lexi. They're trying to have a baby and go to that next state of life. I think God, he has an underwear seen in his bed. That's our hot hall of fame winner right there for like the hundredth year in a row. Gavin is going to be drama. Gavin does not seem to be in a couple, but he is here to starch it. I kind of love it. Lindsay's friends, Yvonne and Nick, are they married or not? Isn't that public record? There's a lot happening in that trailer and it looks like the people
are going to go after Lindsay as well. Someone's talking about I am sick of bowing down to Lindsay Hubbard. I'm like, is that the Janet of the group? Will she be the Janet? I can't wait. I think this still looks good. You were saying you don't want to watch it. I said, I think if they focus on the other people, it will be a good show. I thought there would be a lot more familiar faces. And I think I was shocked by the amount of new couples. It seems like a very big cast. I love it. I'm excited for it. And then I think obviously they're going to probably rework some of it with obviously featuring West. As we said, there was a Kyle and Carl scene filmed at software. Are they talking about the separation? This is going to be good May 19th. I wonder how much she's going to expose Kyle. Well, when she has that confessional, she says, so do you want to know what happened? It sounds like there was a specific event that happened that really ended it all. And she's like, I hope someone West.
Could you imagine that's what it was? I feel like they were almost wanting us to believe that, but I'm like, oh my god. That sounds like Summer House season finale will be the 19th. We'll leave the Summer House. We'll drive back into the city and we're kicking off a new show. Exciting time. Glad we caught this at the end of the pod. We'll see you tomorrow. Bye.
