Top Recruits Flock to Texas for Ohio State Showdown

1:00Like everybody is trying to make it to this thing this list is gonna be over 50 maybe 60 names deep Most of your commits are gonna be in Ryan Swanson can't he's got a game on Saturday I believe JT geracy may also have a game. I'm not sure for if I'm not positive But all the a couple of recruit type games otherwise. They're all gonna be there the main ones people want to know about Recreate you know commit wise Eastern Royal junior to yapo both of those took unofficial visits to school trying to flip them LSU obviously well, I mean LSU obviously with royal and then Alabama with to yapo But we're told both are still expected into Austin on Saturday And and we we're expecting both of those guys to be there Course with the Eastern Royal commitment. That's that's a Something that we monitor about every four or five minutes That's basically kind of how you have to prep for that junior to yapo. I think is so locked into Texas

2:03He's he's going to take some visits in state just because he's so close to Bam and Auburn But I think they're fine there, but honestly most of the commits in the 2027 cyclor are gonna be in the house We've got it updated listed inside Texas.com. Please check it out And yeah, most people are asking well, you know what about Eastern Royal what about junior to yapo both of those are expected in What about other 27s? Right now it looks like it's just gonna be committed guys That could change but I think that's something we're actually paying a little closer attention to some of those late senior evals Guys that aren't necessarily committed but do wind up popping in Also of note we wrote this Sunday Ismail Kamara won't take his official visit this weekend. They're gonna they actually move that to the Arkansas weekend, which is November 21st Junior with ismail he It was it was too much this weekend like they're so prepping for Ohio State. I was they oh

3:04Ohio State that It was so much stuff's going on he would rather Pick a different weekend where there's not so much He didn't want to be a distraction. He don't want to be somebody that's in the way that they're trying to like show for around for an OV when they're in In the middle of getting ready for Ohio State and so I think at the end of the day That's the biggest thing with those two I I with that one as well. It's not gonna be an OV But he will be on the campus on Saturday morning, so most of those commits are gonna be ready to go There you go guys and again, we've been telling you and Justin really it's been telling you here on recruiting until recruiting scoop that this weekend is more so about the future classes Right is 28 guys even a couple of Younger kiddos who you got to set the corner center those recruiting classes with and so a really good opportunity for Texas to make a very big Impression on those and let's let's talk about a couple. It's not just micro roads as a 28 running back That's a course and inside Texas fan favorite name What other run backs are gonna be on campus other than micro roads on man?

4:06Yeah, so for 28 Microroads is worth that you know, he's near the top of the list. We know how much of a big target that guy is And we know how much he looks Texas. He's a former Oklahoma commit and I think he's one of those kids It's gonna be waived in like when he's ready to commit and ready to be over and I think they're just gonna wipe it Man two other guys Jason Jason Mitchell at a San Antonio. He has got really really good tape He was at a and him this last weekend. He's San Antonio dude. He's gonna be on campus Trying to think who else I know those two are Christian White another one from Cyprus Cy Ranch Unbelievable numbers now that's a that's a that's a that's a 28 worth watching You know if it's a two running back class I think he would be an ideal running back to in a lot of cases, but Outside of roads and in the committed guys Noah Roberts Landon Williams Calis your big dogs and are already committed will be there and so that pretty much knocks out running back Yeah, pretty much there and again, you're gonna have a couple of 27

5:09Committed water receivers on campus for Texas, but you're also you've got a couple of 28s coming in to Mary Mays Dylan Mitchell and then even an SMU commit by man Yes, sip Cooper Sakura Cooper Jr. Actually committed to SMU back in the summertime He's a 2029 so that one's got a long ways to go I asked him after he committed are you still gonna take your recruiting visits and he's like yeah Which makes complete sense But but sip is a big guy to know for 2029 The biggest thing I was bros and right I mean you know about the number one right receiver of the country in Texas loves him Everyone loves him. I wouldn't be surprised of Bryson's the best receiver pound for pound regardless of class in high school football right now He is a monster. Okay. He's one of those guys that keeps you up at night He's gonna be on campus. That's big. They've already gotten him in once. They want to see him again They're going to have to peel him away from Miami. He's not committed anywhere, but

6:11The hurricanes look pretty good right now and with the way they're recruiting in state They're gonna be keeping a lot of those guys in there and so those are some of your bigger names again East and Royal being Bryson throw Royal being those are ones that that are no worthy Kyron Brown champ maze He loves champ way Texas loves champ maze wide receiver out of North Krali He's gonna be there and then Dylan Mitchell That's a kid that we've been writing about a lot in the last couple months Eric and I both have connected with him and his in his family and like Dylan Mitchell even though he's a Texas a and M legacy like he's he's really interested in Texas He's vibing with the horns right now and he's also the fastest kid in America That doesn't that doesn't hurt. He'll be on campus as well. Little Superman Yeah, he can fly absolutely get it again very impressive group of water sewers on campus and as you said about Miami They're recruiting really really well in state Bryson being a Mandarin high school there in Jacksonville Yeah, we'll see because again Texas has had a lot of success Obviously dipping into the sunshine state for a skill position

7:12But really everybody here in the last couple of cycles go to the top end broccoli. He'll be on campus I love the comment you had on their recruiting scoop or the quote rather you had in their recruiting scoop He wants to see a dub and a dub and all caps with a lot of bees. That's my kind of guy But what other tie-down prospects, you know, 2020 27 28 29 and even 2030 Are gonna be on campus this weekend. It's a mixture man. So you got Ridge James That's the kid out of Ridge point. I think he's got a Ridge point. No, no St. Louis. That's the St. Louis kid Ridge James out of St. Louis 2028 tie-down Texas really likes him. They're on him early now that we know Chris Waley's on edge at the edge on the defensive side We're no longer talking about him as an offensive threat But if anybody wants to look it up he had the absolute play of the week Yeah, right in the eye and no one noticed it like I'm telling you like I Got two camera angles buddy. That's as good as it gets That's an over thrown ball

8:13He just Tracked I was so impressive Obviously our man CJ Waley's Waley's gonna be on campus, but again. He's at edge You need to know rich James from 28 you need to know nor know a tarant from 2029 That's gonna be their top target. Oh for the 2029 class. They love him Believe he moved to Fort Worth Christian. I'm trying to remember where he was at before But he's in all Saints now and so then you have Kane and Thomas look I'm not gonna talk much about the 2020 the 2030 Tied in because I think he's a basketball signing. I think that kids playing football just for fun I think he is I believe he holds more basketball offers and he does football. I want to say 6667 maybe 6.8 At a boom on I believe his boom on United He's huge. He's huge, but you know, he's going through the process. You never know He could be like Spencer Shannon. Pritz Spencer Shannon's freshman year. He was all baseball He wouldn't get a play football Dude turned into be a pretty good little tied in and so well

Yeah, so it's gonna be 28 again. We're looking at juniors some of the important names are Monty Edwards offensive tackle out of Sirentch him and Christian White will be coming up together

10:16Kendrick Harris the number one interior offensive lineman in Texas and one of the top in the United States Hey, Texas needs beef up at guard Kendrick Harris is that guy. He's a Duncanville kid And I think Texas is in a great spot with him early. They were they were one of his early e-vows and early offers Jamarios Canton everybody knows how much I like that kid back from IMG He's at San Augustine now and they're playing offensive tackle. He's a beautiful specimen Really good freakish athlete. He'll be there Mac Horton There's like there's like a dozen offensive tackles and 28 in state that look like Mac Horton to me But they're not Mac that kid that kids a monster, but there's a there's a handful that kind of looks similar to him And so he's gonna be in as well and and so it would be an interesting group You know, it'll be once again, it'll be tackled heavy because for some reason God flood loves those offensive tackles But they're a handful of guards as well There you go. I mean We've seen his past development or past black and development attack. We've seen what he can do with these guys

11:20Make sense. I guess it'd be a little bit tackled heavy But yeah, I always want to see maybe a little bit more of the interior involved there But long ways to go my man. Let's go to the defense side of the ball obviously Kellyn Hall kind of main lines or headlines rather the The defense of line class, you know what I mean? So let's talk a little bit about the Christian Academy of Louisville product and we're kind of Texas stands on that recruitment for a second If you will Justin that's wide open Kellyn Hall is wide open He put out a top 10 or top 12 recently Texas was in it But that's a kind of kid that it you're gonna recruit through the whistle I think Oklahoma and Michigan are probably the best position today But again that one's gonna go the distance that's gonna be one of the higher higher profile recruitments in 2028 He's related to Cam Hall Texas has an in there already With with with the men's field summit edge defense event that's part of the class of 2027 and so he Texas is it's one of those things where they're just biting their time They're they're slowly building out the relationship. They don't rush anything

12:23Gives them the whole time to build out an evaluation for the start to the end They're going to be in the mix anytime Texas wants wants a five-star They're going to be in the mix that not necessarily mean they're gonna get them But they're going to be a factor there. There's likely gonna be a hat on the table as well And so this one is this I've noticed with Kellyn He says a lot of nice things about a lot of nice schools and that that there's that's perfectly fine right now for him He talks up anybody you ask him about and so if you ask him about Texas He's the love it on Texas right now, but I think Oklahoma Michigan have kind of separated a little bit I think those are two schools to really watch Into the day though Texas is gonna keep trying to get him on campus in no time like the present Saturday when the buck has come in town Yeah, absolutely. I mean when you have the size and the history of the off the ball burst The feet that Kellyn all have everyone in the country is gonna be on you early and often the other probably got Jeremiah Mark coming in from Mississippi

13:26J. C. Carson also from Mississippi. You know what? I like going into Mississippi and looking for some defensive lineman Absolutely, they went into Mississippi and grabbed an edge this year in Durwin fields. I have no problem with it. I just don't want to quarry wells situation I want you to make the early e-mail make the early offer get the commitment whenever you want it and hold it until Signing day, but then again Auburn did Money money back his brother and so I get it. Yeah Mississippi Alabama Tennessee Georgia Florida Man Louisiana That whole region man There are defensive lineman that get lost in Recruitments in that part of the country man if you want to go find you somebody on the line. That's where you go Absolutely, man. I'm with you again. You're gonna have Texas Camus Cameron Hall, Jabari's for our on campus as well We've mentioned CJ Waley. You're gonna have another Watson is a good girl. No Alabama just came through with an offer. He's had a couple other big offers

14:30He's going to have as many offers as he wants David Dodson's one of those recruits that when you walk up to him He looks different than all the other ones that one looks like a grown man I thought he was a coach the first time I saw him bringing in kids. I thought those were his kids Dodson plays a little bit different too David Dodson is massive man. That is a big can big hands big feet and is going to make a big impact at the next level His recruiting his offer list is only gonna grow a bit Yeah, Texas was on there early. I remember talking to him at camp in late May early June and One of the biggest takeaways was I made sure I got my name on the list for Texas Ohio State. That was four months ago And so I'm a big fan of David Dodson Huge fan of a humble atasca seed of Cowcoats took over there this year. He's gonna do a tremendous job. They've got talent David Dodson's a name to know if you got David Dodson at Lance Jackson's spot you would have

15:33CJ Waley at Collins That's high praise right there. You're gonna have Not maybe So or time their opposites what I was saying Yeah, yeah, absolutely Maybe uh not the biggest slew of linebackers compared to some of the other position groups here But you do have stud the shan simmins out of harland coming in Alan Kenned is real samuel How we feeling about the linebackers and and kind of where Texas soaps with these guys and maybe who's making the biggest impression on the staff out of these guys I like him for 28s everyone wants to see 2027 linebackers on campus and I wouldn't be shocked if one pops in But right now it's about 2028 and Yeah, the shan simmins I think is one of your clear leaders right there Texas was on him early. He's another one that just looks the part when he when he walks up He just looks like a future college football player De shan plays like going to that kid is that kid is havoc on Friday nights But that that right now it's just it's like you named him

16:36It's a group of 28s you may think whether I try and harder on linebacker I promise you they push it linebacker just as they do it any other position And they've got guys out there that they're going to show them how to do it if they're not watching Anthony Hill lay hat on Sundays They're watching Rahim Biles they're watching juke juke cryer. They're watching Tyler Ackinson and Kosi Ackala look at Kosi getting that early run on Saturday um linebacker room is okay But we we'd like to hear some we'd like to get some more clarity with 27s before we get done Just wait something as always will pop up. But yeah again You're getting to the time where it's not necessarily getting restless But like fans are gonna want to see more more of a of a 27 class of 2027 representative You know visiting from that position group for sure man cornerbacks You're gonna have Royce Bimetch coming in from Brenham short trip for him Monterey Jackson of course part of that 2027 class Brennan Sherard You mentioned junior to Eopo I'll talk it to me a little bit about Dominic Butler Carlos Lopez and then a Royce Bimetch

17:38You know, has there been again 28 some 29s, but future targets or current targets Do you remember the kid from Brenham the defense of in Marquez Bemidge Of course, there you go That that that that that that that's family right there the Bemidge family um Yeah, like our guy asked us about Alan dominating everyone who just Texas have players after Dominic Butler They really like the 2028 corner Dominic Butler's on the list he got offered I want to say back in the summer early summer after camp But yeah, and in dominix got a bunch of offers. That's that kid looks great Alan looks really good right now like there They're playing really well And so you get a tip your cap there, but Dominic Butler's I think one to watch I think he's definitely one on the big worthy really like Carlos Lopez as the kid out of out of Florida That's already been on campus a couple times that kid is a future Five star probably he's definitely a high four star and then like you said junior to Eapo

18:41I'll tell you I really like we got to talk more about Jalen flowers I got some stuff up at inside Texas.com to come check that out Jalen flowers four star safe You just dropped to top 10 he's out of California and he is clicking with Gideon and much champion orfe And a lot of other guys and so the the secondary is always looking sharp on the 48 There you go Jordan hall James foster Jalen flowers again like you just referenced But James foster kind of you know, I mean everybody wants a little bit of James foster in the recruiting world these days It's very another another very popular by the fan Name here on inside Texas. How are we looking with James foster out of uh Or you know, we talked a little bit about how to say Lancaster last week. I hope I said appropriate because I know Justin's gonna be on top of me if not I I think it's Texas to lose I think he's gonna take visits. I think he's gonna love his visits having Notre Dame loves him. I know LSU Texas hanging in him

19:42There's a handful of schools that absolutely love James that are in the mix But I love Texas there. I think they're I think it's Texas versus the field I went to go see James a couple weeks ago. He's he's a thumper that kid he can play linebacker He can play safety He can do a lot of stuff man. He has a thumper and he is a priority the number two rated safety in the country as a definite priority on the Texas big board Yeah, you can cover and get down on the run fish Like you said, he's as physical as anybody on the football field Definitely a guy for a good reason that a lot of Texas fans were interested in on daily You know and I get it you tall horn biggest recruiting day sense and again. We love you tall horn What do you think about 2022 actually Georgia last weekend was pretty big last year was pretty big too Was it last year two years ago two years ago Georgia was pretty big game pretty big recruiting list two years ago But the Alabama one you half the team was at that game in the stands that are gonna be playing on Saturday I get so high state. That's the one that pops him on the most

20:44Start gonna sell that to a lot of these guys too. Hey Half these guys are here watching the last really big match up here and vice Yeah, I love that he takes side advice Well, all right Justin any other recruiting tidbits or intel that define. Oh, man I just gonna see it. There's a new D line target. We gotta talk about uh, that's gonna be Becoming in he's out of Indiana. He's got Notre Dame. He's got Michigan.
