いわさき ちひろ（本名：松本 知弘（まつもと ちひろ、旧姓岩崎）、1918年12月15日 – 1974年8月8日、女性）は、子供の水彩画に代表される日本の画家、絵本作家。
冒頭に掲げたのは1972年に書いた「大人になること」という文章の中で見つけた言葉である。いわさきちひろは、天が恵んでくれた技を用いて、自分しか描けない作品を通じて、平和を守ろうとする天命に生きた人だ。
